8.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming, great location, interesting architecture, right amount of funk, very helpful staff, good breakfast.
Cons: door knobs were a problem, but it is a real problem for an old house where you are trying to keep it authentic. Half the rooms have a shared bath—not a problem, but good to know about.
7.7 Good
Pros: Comfortable and homey!
Cons:

4.5 OK
Pros: The building and decoration is great. The furniture, excluding the bed and television and bath, are nice.
Cons: The previous occupiers dirty linens were in the living room on checkin (6pm). The staff were apologetic though and it did assure me that the sheets were changed so that is nice. The bathroom wasn’t clean. There was a bunch of hair around from a previous occupier. The bed was all springs and no padding. Television didn’t work. Breakfast in room was oatmeal and a waffle for $35. It was cold and sad when it got to me. I wouldn’t stay again.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The look of the hotel is very cool. The rooms were spacious and clean with a nice bathroom area.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Huge rooms deigned and furnished lavishly.
Cons: A bit too far from any touristy attractions. Not a walking hotel b
9.7 Excellent
Pros: It was a peaceful getaway for me and my wife. Very enjoyable and relaxing.
Cons: Room service was magnificent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was ready and clean! The staff were friendly and attentive. We were only there overnight but it was very nice, quiet enough and clean (which to me is the most important feature)!
Cons: Nothing, it was all good
6.8 Good
Pros: Terrific location, amazing staff: Lincoln & Jack could not be nicer. Well appointed rooms and facilities
Cons: The card key system is a CONSTANT irritation. It won’t open your room door consistently and you need to go back to the front desk. The parking gates that use the same key never worked right. Replace the key system and you’d rate close to a 10.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice decor and great location
Cons: Charge for parking which is ridiculous. Girl who checked me in was a bit rude
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All
Cons: Pay for parking my car
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is right off the freeway, and the location is amazing. There is a gas station adjacent to the hotel, which was great because we just walked right over to buy some waters.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was really nice
Cons: Well satisfied
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, and luxurious feel. Easy access, and only minutes from Manhattan Beach.
Cons: Restaurant was mediocre.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I can't begin to find words to express how much we enjoyed our stay at the Marina del Rey Ritz Carlton! We arrived on a Wednesday morning with a sick child. The staff immediately took charge helping to get us situated with a room and going so far above and beyond ensuring that our stay was enjoyable. From the person who greeted us to take our luggage, to the valet, to the front desk staff to the wait staff in the restaurant and the gift shop (which opened up for us to get us meds in the middle of the night) to the manager who followed up even after we had left their hotel, every layer was kind, attentive and fantastic! They honestly made us feel like we were at home with family who was concerned about us. What a fantastic experience! T
7.1 Good
Pros: I liked that the hotel was near the water, close to a concert I was attending.
Cons: I booked this hotel because they had balconies and it was near the water. The balcony was closed due to renovations. The bath tub was small , hotel was a little outdated. Not as special as a experience as I was hoping for
7.4 Good
Pros: Staff is great, and generally a very nice hotel.
Cons: Doesn't live up to our expectations based on previous experiences at other Ritz hotels. It feels tired, not as luxurious as others, and is starting to show some age without upkeep. A simple example would be the pool has cracked tiles and feels rundown.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel staff was outstanding; from valet, front desk & concierge all the way through to pool attendants, room service and bell desk.
6.0 Good
Pros: I like the avalibiliy of the staff
Cons: For a younger crowd in there 25-30 age it's not an appeasing hotel it's more for older crowd like 50-60 so for me being a pro Olympic athlete and being 23 yrs old I didn't enjoy it that much
6.2 Good
Pros: Nice place, but not worth the Ritz premium. I would stay at the JW Marriott in Santa Monica next time I'm in the area.
5.4 OK
Pros: Marina
Cons: Totality , needs upgraded , bathrooms , amenities , need more restaurants .
5.4 OK
Pros: the location
Cons: room service food. the french soup was disgusting. There was also no glasses in the room. time it took to get the food valet parking took 15 mins to get our car

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was right across from the marina. A beautiful setting. Convenient to restaurants and nightlife. The staff was very friendly. The room was immaculate and clean. I enjoyed my stay. I would highly recommend it.
7.7 Good
Pros: Room was nice and clean
Cons: Parking for $37, valet only was a rip-off!
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Only one king bed available next to the noisey elevator. Clerk was not nice !!!
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The lobby, close location to Venice beach and the bar were quite nice. Staff is accommodating and nice.
Cons: Rooms and interiors of the halls were old, carpet is definitely old, and the lounge for elite members is tiny (cramped seating). Really small outdoor pool.
7.7 Good
Cons: Parking fee not included in stay
3.7 Mediocre
Cons: I will be writing a broader follow up on yelp and other review sites. I have never wanted to share how poor of an experience I had somewhere as I do with this hotel. From waiting 4 hrs in the lobby for our room to be ready, to finding a womans underwear under the pillow of our pullout couch, to unthawed potatoes in our overpriced breakfast, to the rude Managers on site, there was nothing good about this experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service and staff were great - hotel is very nice!
7.7 Good
Pros: Service
Cons: Rooms not ready for check in
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Variety of recreational opportunities available either on-site or nearby.
Cons: Leaving
7.4 Good
Pros: Our suite was on the 9th floor this stay We've been on the 6th and 7th floors previously. We were there for 4 nights. The view was great from up there. Staff was generally friendly and helpful. Our housekeeper was very nice.
Cons: Same issues are still present with the valet. First you arrive and no one helps you with luggage. I pulled up, opened the trunk and started grabbing some of the stuff inside the car. Three guys were standing over by the valet desk, not one moved. I got all our luggage out and set it on the curb. Then I waited a minute, no one moved. I then had to walk over and tell them I am here to check in, can you take my car? I was the only guest out there at about midnight. No one offered to help with the bags. When the valet finally took my car key and looked over at our four bags, he offered to let me use the luggage cart. I was already headed in the lobby so I declined. This lack of attention was similar to when I would either pull in or ask for my car. Slow and a lack of attention. This is the same experience I have had on all three stays, hope it will improve one day because everything else was great.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location is good.
Cons: The staff, especially the valet staff were not very good. Every time I either pulled up or asked for my car I got indifference or an attitude. When I arrived there were three of them standing around chatting. I waited a minute by my car door and then had to go over and break up the conversation just to get them to take my keys. This happened twice. It's unusual to pull up to a valet and track them down to get your car parked. Especially when you find them doing nothing. No one offered to help us with our bags when we checked in. A family of four we had five suitcases. I choose this hotel over others in the marina because they have a Tesla charger.During my stay last year, they were very good about plugging my car in. Since it's a valet only hotel you have to rely on them to do it. When I asked them on arrival to plug my car in, they said sure, right away. Of course after I got my car brought up and it was drained almost completely. The annoying part was when I brought this up, he shrugged and said Oh, sorry as he walked away and he was the manager. When I went to check out I called to have my car brought up. When I got downstairs a few mins later, the guy with my key was nowhere to be found. I had to track him down while my family waited with the suitcases by the car. 5 mins later he reappeared. His coworkers did nothing to help locate him.

This hotel has facilities measuring 10,000 square feet (1 square meters), including conference space.
4.5 OK
Cons: The air conditioner broke during the hotel visit and when I was served at the restaurant the cook came out with the food and handed it to me. He called out the dish because he did not know who ordered it and I was served in a large bowl instead of a plate.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Ambiance was great from the beachy/sea vibe in the lobby with the "flying" seagull sculptures hanging from the ceiling a wonderful scent machine in the lobby that makes you feel like you are at the beach. Very romantic setting at the outside bar complete with couches and fire pits. Beds were super comfortable.
Cons: $30/day for valet parking is a bit steep when there is plenty of parking around the hotel. Give an option for people to park their own cars, even if you have to charge a fee.
6.5 Good
Pros: The remodel is first class.
Cons: The front desk service was fine. The dining was terrible. Slow inattentive service, overdone steak, raw salmon, overpriced.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I had a fabulous stay at the Marina del Rey Hotel. Our room had a amazing view of the marina, was very well appointed and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to that part of LA.
6.5 Good
Pros: Vibrant lounge with a nice view of the marina.
Cons: $30 valet only parking option!! Weird odor in the room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the view, facilities, great beds and location of the hotel.
Cons: No complaints.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was wonderful. The rooms are nice spacious and clean. The service was excellent. the breakfast was hot fresh and had many items. The indoor heated pool was very nice for the kids as we went in December and the weather was a bit chilly. Parking is free and the attached garage has plenty of space.
Cons: Nothing
7.4 Good
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Love the waffle hot plates. Good comfortable beds, rooms were spacious and clean.
Cons: Swimming pool area wasn't the cleanest and the computers in business suit was very slow.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best Hampton inns I have stayed at !! Have stayed here 2x's and will return
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Check in was super fast. Parking was free & in a gated parking garage which gives peace of mind. Hotel looked updated and clean. Room was clean and roomy. Bathroom was telling perfect size. Wifi was free which is always great. TV worked well. The hotel room bed was super comfy. And the breakfast in the morning deserves a 5 star rating!
Cons: Shower was probably the only downside.. the water was luke warm at its hottest & I didn't like the shower head water settings.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: I've stayed here twice. Both times were great. Clean rooms and bathroom. Comfortable beds. Pillows a little flat. Clean modern feel establishment. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Nice continental breakfast. If you have the time you can monitor the rates and save at least $20 off the normal daily rate. Love this hotel. Will continue to use as my primary place to stay.
Cons: If you aren't familiar with the city it can appear to be a bad area. It's really not bad but it's definitely not Beverly Hills. All the major fast food places are in walking distance. Close to the airport and freeway. Needs to put a microwave in the lobby with continental breakfast.
4.8 OK
Cons: We booked through a travel site and Hampton Inn staff was ill-prepared. Although we paid for three nights, Hampton Inn checked us out after the first night and I had to check us in again. Moreover, we were charged again for the stay even though we paid up front through the travel site. Getting our money back or to even get Hampton Inn to recognize the error was a nightmare. We recommended Hampton Inn to our relatives who were also staying for the Thanksgiving holiday. Because of my wife and I, Hampton Inn booked four rooms. Never again! We will never stay at a Hampton Inn again.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: I booked a handicapped accessible room online and when checking in they had no record.
Cons: Other than the booking problem I thought it was an excellent hotel.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The closeness to the beach and water and how close we were to Venice beach all the interesting people and places we saw was just amazing can't wait to come again
Cons: The only thing I didn't really like was the view from our room
8.0 Excellent
Cons: The tiny sign on the door entrance in the corner.. Stating that there were chemicals in the building from which you could get cancer from.. Was not clear when I book the hotel that the building is a health risk.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the suite was awesome! The rooftop bar was great. Blankets were clutch. Friendly staff!
7.7 Good
Pros: We stayed here with a couple friends for a birthday weekend celebration. Jesenia was really nice and calles us when we were able to check in early. The rooms were great. My cousin checked in early but didn't get the king bed she booked. So later she called Jeff and was able to get a better room. A suite!
Cons: The rooftop lounge during the day was great. The bartenders was nice. At nighttime, the waitress we had was btichy. The lounge areas were nice but even for hotel fuests we had to reserve on opentable.com. the problem was we had a big group. They provide blankets so thats a plus but we didn't stay up there long. Lastly, Valet/parking was $32!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We were planning to have our short, informal ceremony on the beach and then enjoy the rooftop; but, our view was so amazing, we had our ceremony right on our patio deck! Also, when I mentioned to Billy that we were getting married that day, he sent a bottle of champagne to our room! Unbelievable guest service! We will recommend the Erwin to friends & family.

Customer service was excellent, the bathroom in our room clogged and overflowed so they offered to transfer us for free to another identical room.

With a stay at The Belamar in Manhattan Beach, you'll be convenient to Lakes at El Segundo and Manhattan Beach Pier. Featured amenities include express check-out, dry cleaning/laundry services, and laundry facilities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff couldn't have been nicer and it made the stay that much more enjoyable! Highly recommended and will stay here again!
8.2 Excellent
Pros: I really thought the room was lovely--large. Things seemed updated and clean. Bed was fairly comfortable--everything worked well. Staff was warm and friendly. Cookies in the afternoon provided at front desk.
Cons: First bellman didn't tell us that we could stay parked in the Handicapped Parking spot in front. Second bellman did, but a $10.00 charge appeared on the final bill. Staff took it off when I explained. Requested 4 pillows and a view as our most important request. No view and only 2 pillows on bed when we arrived. Bellman brought two more pillows after a phone call. Artwork in hallway is a series of gigantic pictures of 1950 ish dolls---creepy. Including a 5X7 framed photo of one of the doll pictures on the desk in the room. i could see one, but entire hall lined with them.
8.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Staff is very friendly. Has a nice vibe. Close to airport.
Cons: My room particularly overlooked busy street. Decent stay for decent price
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has many positives such as: clean surroundings, friendly staff, great food, free wifi, & an inexpensive valet.
Cons: N/A
6.8 Good
Pros: I though the hotel's location was cool, off the main road but still tucked away and private. And the rooms were comfortable and newly renovated.
Cons: I didn't like the rooms lay out. (No foyer or hallway to separate the room door from the sleeping area) You see the light leek in from under the door and the foot traffic in the hall feels very close as you lay in bed. Also the robes were only a large and fit me more like a child's robe than one for an adult.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff Clean Included wired and wireless Internet access (~8 Mbs up & down)
Cons: Valet parking only ($15/day) Dated interiors Floors are creaky, can easily hear the guests walking around in room above
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Overall we loved the hotel and will go back. Very clean, comfortable, quiet. Nice restaurant/bar upstairs. Courtyard peaceful. Staff very friendly.
Cons: The paintings of the "Barbie"-like girls in the hallway were odd.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I arrived late because my flight from Miami was delayed a few hours. As I walked in around midnight, the staff helped me load up my suitcases into a trolley and directed me to where I could take my dog out for a walk. I ordered a breakfast that night for sometime between 9:00am and 9:30am the following morning, and it arrived promptly by 9:05am. The staff also allowed for a later check-out at 12:30pm to give me time to maneuver my belonging and dog. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I would recommend.
Cons: They stopped serving food for room service pretty early.
6.0 Good
Pros: T
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable beds. Love the hip decor. Would come back again. Really Nice people. In general we really enjoyed Manhattan Beach more than other coastal cities. It's less cramped feeling and has a wonderful Beach.
Cons: Valet parking. I'm guessing you could park in neighboring streets if you wanted. It's on a busy street but it's nestled back a bit so you don't feel it.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the idea if complementary cookies. I didn't eat any but the idea is great. Thanks.
Cons: They nickle and dime you on the breakfast. $9.99 for a bowl of oatmeal. Nooooo! So sad. $30.00 for the two of us to have eggs, sausage and potatoes. Really. And the OJ was a separate charge, ouch.
7.4 Good
Pros: The room decor and space were both excellent. The bed felt firm in an inexpensive fashion, but was still reasonable in comfort. The real reason for the low rating in an otherwise four star establishment was the complete lack of hot water pressure at 1030 am on a weekday.

6.0 Good
Pros: It was a place to stay and a bed to sleep in. Surrownding food was within walking distance.
Cons: No breakfast. You had to pay for parking. Not very roomy.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Everything is real clean
Cons: Air conditioner is a little loud and nobody came to fix it on our last night
4.2 OK
Pros: One of the front desk girls was friendly
Cons: There was no working heat. When I called about it being cold and the heat not working, the heat wasn't fixed . Instead I was brought a space heater, which made the electricity go out
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Fun bar and lobby area with a buzzing atmosphere Large pool and seating area Little gym Good selection of fast casual restaurants close by Grocery store and drug store next door
Cons: Having to pay for parking Rooms on the smallish side

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very neat and clean. It has a Ralphs supermarket nearby, which is very convenient to buy some grocery. And there is also one in-N-out nearby. You won't hear the noise from the airplanes at night. It's very quiet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I travel with my pet almost always. I love how dog friendly the staff at this hotel is. They even have dog beds and food bowls upon request. The lounge area was really cool. Fun books to read and games to play. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
7.7 Good
Cons: Toilet wouldn't flush upon arrival. Called the front desk which said they would send maintenance down. Waited a few hours, no one showed. Called back and they had someone up in a few to try and fix it. The maintenance gent said he wasn't able to fix it, so they said we would get a new room in a few. We waited and waited, no one cake. Called the front desk again and they sent some one up quickly with new keys. Hours later and 4 phone calls later, we got our new room. Rooms aren't your typical Aloft layout either.

7.7 Good
Pros: I've stayed here before for a few days - great location and generally a very good place to stay. However the room was a bit musty when I entered - not enough for me to want a new oom but noticeable. Facilities are OK - bathroom very cosy though. Would definetly stay again.
5.1 OK
Pros: Location was interesting; good restaurants nearby; kinda edgy. Weirdly, my hair loved whatever shampoo & conditioner they used (could also be the quality of the water itself?). I never had such silky smooth hair!
Cons: The facilities reminded me of a motel in the 70's. They tried to be trendy and hip, but it just didn't cut it. The room didn't feel private. The balcony overlooked the courtyard one floor below and there was a really bright light at night, so I didn't feel comfortable opening the curtains to let any light in. The bathtub had a no-slip matt inside, so it felt like a retirement home. Although relatively clean, the smell of the cleaning products was really old-school. Only thing missing was the coin-operated vibrating bed. No restaurant or room service, and breakfast in the morning was very basic.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location, near beach, many good eateries etc. Excellent helpful staff, particularly Emad, who could not have been more helpful and deserves high praise. The rooms have been done up but essentially it's a renovated old building. Good parking underneath but $14/day. All round ok but not cheap.
Cons: Being on a busy street there was considerable traffic noise. The serve yourself breakfast was frugal and nothing to write home to Mum about.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My daughter and l had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our room was very clean and beds where comfortable. The location is a short walk to the beach. The staff was friendly, professional and attentive! We were so happy with our accommodations that we extended our stay by two days. Highly recommend !

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Kitchen
Cons: Too loud. Young people manage the place and don't care. Elevators broken!!! Can't go outside the hotel, too many homeless people around the outside of hotel.Never again!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Venice is what it is too many bums but venice breeze suites are very clean and nice and rooftop is great
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room, great location, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
Cons: Parking was inconvenient.
4.5 OK
Cons: If you're looking for Venice Beach, the location is perfect. Unfortunately, the place as a whole is a little worse for wear, especially at $220/night. Reception feels more like a $40/night hostel than a hotel, bedding and couch both looked not entirely clean and there was mold and mildew all over the bathroom floor and walls.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Owners were the nicest people, they took the time to tell us all about the city and what it had to offer. They gave us tips on where the best restaurants were and beaches to go to. This is the only place I wanna stay in Manhattan beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for price. Close to airport. Super clean, super new and modern, comfy. Would stay again!
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The interior is nice and free parking was a huge bonus.
Cons: Nothing fun within walking distance that I could find.
5.7 OK
Pros: The room was clean and modern. But it was so small that I had to leave the room to change my mind. The tiny room had a desk but no outlet nearby and the chair barely fit up to the desk. No place to hand wet towels to dry or put bags. We were given a corner room to the street so had a LOT of traffic noise at all times. Was OK, but would try some other place next time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was newly remodeled and very clean!!!!
6.0 Good
Pros: small but very clean room, convenient location
Cons: I got the 1st floor room closest to the street, 10 feet from Sepulveda. They wouldn't give me another room. The road noise was excessive, even an occasional Harley. Turned on the AC fan and bathroom fan to try to sleep. Would have rated excellent if not for the noise issue.
