The room we were put in was right by the bar in the annex not the actual club house. Noise so loud impossible to sleep. Felt like the room was the old staff quarters nor at all what we expected. We ended up requesting a refund and cancelling the 2nd night
The staff was helpful and always friendly. The grounds and location are beautiful! I loved reading the plaques noting the history of the hotel and it's former guests. Really enjoyed the unique architecture you cannot find in new hotels.
