4.6 Okay
Pros: Location. If you have suitcases it is a quick and cheap cab ride to the train station or you can even walk it (slightly more than half a mile). Stuck to malls and connected to Creamall retail pedestrian street so you have something to do and somewhere to eat after dark since the historic Kawagoe Little Edo streets further north in town shut abruptly after 4 pm after the huge daytripper exodus back to Tokyo.
Cons: Although check-in was 2 pm, rooms were not ready even at 3.30 pm. Finally offered a different room. Overheated and airless, it felt like a sealed fish tank. Staff apologised and said in winter heating is same throughout building: a known problem. If you care about fresh air and HVAC quality, you will not like this place. Stained lampshades and dated fixtures makes the room a yellowing 80’s museum. For the price, you might as well train back to Tokyo to spend the night.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely young lady on reception with big smile checked us in very quickly and offered advice on where to eat etc. Same lady on duty when we left and again could not have been more polite or courteous.
Cons: Directions to find the car parking could be a bit more helpful.

7.5 Good
Pros: Is quite near to subway about 5 to 10 mins walk.
Cons: My stay is winter period no air con blow hot air, make the room is hot and stuffy, in the end the staff, give me fan to blow.
5.4 Okay
Cons: The room smelled very, very faintly like cigarette smoke even though when questioned I was told the hotel was no smoking. It seemed to cater to tour groups so housekeeping started around 7:30 and was noisy. My room was near the vending machines so there was banging everytime someone used it. Location is near a main shopping street and Kawagoe train station but a bit far from the tourist landmarks like the Hikawa Shrine and the Kurazukuri Zone. The latter was where most of the floats for the festival were stationed, though there was one near the hotel and one in the shopping street. For one or two nights it is passable.
5.0 Okay
Cons: There is no air con in the room.
