Comfortable, clean and reasonable rates.
The design of this hotel is great. The location is also terrific, right below Knutsford terrace which has many bars and restaurants.
The check in process is long and painful. They have too many steps and everyone behind the counter seems panicked and lost. Many of the processes I see could be done in advance of the guest showing up, like assigning the internet password, pulling together the breakfast coupons (if these are necessary at all), and the other various notes and documents. On top of that on my most recent trip they did not offer/give me the password for their internet system. Had to go back down to the front desk to get it and then the number they gave me was wrong. This is the point where the front desk assumed that there is something wrong with my computer. Needless to say, not pleased...
Great service, amazing design! I will choose the Luxe Manor again next time!
Good location, good comfort, clean bathroom/ shower
Breakfast room was unavailable due to maintenance works
Hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is very cozy and stylish.
2 of 3 rooms were noisy, including a constant drone. Repeated complaints bore no results !
The room was a good size in comparison with most HK hotels and very comfortable. The aircon was adjustable and the windows opened which was great as I had a sinus reaction initially, Kimberley Rd is a great location for shopping and easy to get to public transport. 2 mins away is the wonderful Kowloon park, an oasis in the midst of the pulsating mass that is HK. I liked the smallness of the hotel as it felt more boutique style and the staff were always attentive.
The TV was incredibly difficult to manage as it was also connected to the internet. I ended up not bothering. Also the free breakfast could have been more traditional Anglo American than European, with bacon/sausages instead of smoked salmon and proscuitto.. Nevertheless, it was delicious.
Staff was very nice, the hotel is new and nice. Rooms are nicely decorated, wireless internet was a great addition.
Small hotel, small room. Expected something bigger for the price.
