Location was nice. close to Zoo and downtown (if driving) Breakfast area a little crowded. (but what do you want for free)
Breakfast was good overall conditions of hotel are pretty decent...close drive to downtown and other attractions. N/A
This is the second Rodeway Inn I have stayed in, and both time were to go to a sports game. This place is the closest hotel to the stadium for a great price. The rooms were clean and the whole place was well kept. Hands down the best place I've stayed in for $60 a night. Loud, vibrating noise kept going off every 5-10 minutes around 9-10pm. May have been a water heater? There were a lot of people in the hotel the night I stayed.
The staff was courteous and helpful. It was located close to the church and the activity to which we went. We liked having a refrigerator and microwave.
the hotel was okay, the room was quite spacious and the bed was big. these guys told me my reservation was not registered at their system and charged me 15 $ extra. He also told that about 20 other people had booked by booking.com but they didn't even have a connection with Booking. Afterwards I regret to accept their offer.
Quiet and relaxing, no noise from the rooms next too or the outside. Staff very knowledgable of the area and asking if we needed anything. Very clean rooms and well furnished. Parking was tight for a full size truck, but with one way in and out it cut down on the traffic noise.
Under construction. Noise is unacceptable. Parking is a mess.
I love the location! There are many shopping centers near by and everything else is pretty close as well. The hotel was also very nice and had a nice staff. I didn't lik that the housekeeper kept knocking and knocking at 8 am trying to clean our room when we were sleeping.
Great bar and dining staff! Parking is not ideal and excessive costs!
Conviently located and though it iis next to hwy our room was quiet, beds amazingly comfortable from the bedding to the mattress. The hotel staff in all.areas ie registration, restaurant, service help were all friendly and helpful. The hotel amenities such as pool and gym are also very clean.
My boyfriend and I loved everything! The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious enough, the room service food was delicious. The internet never gave us any trouble. The pool was salt-water instead or chlorine and was a very comfortable temperature. The service from the employees was spot on, as well. We kept interacting with the same man at the front desk, and he was extremely helpful. The one thing that I didn't like was the hot tub: the water was just a smidge too hot for my comfort, BUT I was able to adjust to it after a few minutes. That's more of a personal preference kind of thing, I know plenty of people probably like a hot tub to be exactly that temperature or even hotter, so it's not really a complaint.
Very close to where we went ( Sea World, San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park). Nice mall nearby. We couldn't figure out how to undo the bathtub drain but someone came by right away to help us out.
The moment you walk in it smells so amazing like really clean and has a great atmosphere. The staff is friendly and everything is so nice and modern. The room was a perfect amount of space for 4 and it had everything stocked. Parking is in a garage right next to the building and you feel very comfortable and safe. Will definitely be returning soon! :)
the location no refregation on the room and save box
I felt comfortable, secure and very quiet to rest with a nice view. Location is very convenient for different purposes. I liked all
The staff was plesant, helpful and friendly. The hotel is within walking distance to near by shops and only a short taxi ride to downtown or attractions. The hotel is all that you would expect from the Hilton group with luxury appiontments and quiet comfortable rooms. My wife and enjoyed our stay and would have liked to stay longer. A limited courtesy bus being available would have been appreciated.
The room and bed return my depositl Return of deposit
Staff was very nice, welcoming and helpful. Location is great, in the center of mission valley. There was a bug in our room but they sent someone to clean our room while we were gone. They asked kids to leave pool area at 11pm but let us stay a bit longer which was nice since kids were a bit loud. Comfortable bed. A bug in our room. Parking = $$$.
I enjoyed the overall hotel but did not like the way everyone was checked in. I called serveral times to see if I could do a early check in 30 mins before 4pm. I was told to call back in an hour to see the status of the room. Still wasn't ready. We arrived about 30 mins before check in time and was still told it wasn't ready. Left to go grab dinner and came back aroun 4:45pm to check in and had to wait in line for over 30 mins. The rooms were nice, but the beds were very squeaky. Very uncomfortable
The STAFF was the VERY BEST... WOW... Great front desk people extremely helpful Executive Floor staff always attentive... Housekeeper very good Maintenance Guy... did good Job. when he tried to fix the AC... Bar lady... was extremely helpful Room was Great and nice size .. nice remodeling job This was extremely nice Hotel... please trust me ..and stay there! TIP: Book on Kayak and 30 days in adv. then the rate will be MUCH less ,,, only 1/2 of the normal rate... NONE!!!!
They are so friendly at this hotel. We stay here all the time. It just happens to be in an area we need to be near. It also helps to have a Club level room. Free breakfast, snacks, etc. That way you feel like you are at home. This is an older hotel so the size of the bathroom was just barely adequate. I also don't like paying for parking but the cost was minimal. Other than that I can't say anything else negative about the hotel.
The staff at the Sheraton were very attentive to customers and their needs especially Minge. The Hotel was centrally located to many businesses and restaurants. Services were great i rate this hotel a 5.
The hotel was clean and everyone was nice upon arrival. The walls were very thin. We could hear our neighbor's conversations and were woken up around 4am by some loud bass downstairs. Pretty disappointing considering everything else about the place was really nice.
Close to airport. Parking was free and infront.. They did not call up for wake up. It was a disappointment. Tight quarters in the bathroom. The toilet situated too close to tub and basin.
The staff was amazing and friendly. Sent wine to our room for anniversary and helped out with cab driver trying to swindle us. Rate was amazing. Shower did not work well. Could not switch to bath.
Close to restaurants and the shopping mall. I liked the in room Starbucks, free water bottles and nice bathroom. Right next to freeway so I could hear traffic constantly. No tv channel instructions and couldn't figure out the tv. It's not the typical hotel where we relax and watch movies at night. Also the mattresses did not seem for high quality. Felt stiff with good linens to make for poor mattress.
Great location easy access throughout San Diego. Though next to freeway, room was quiet. Easy parking and good staff.
camera confortevole, personale gentile, necessaria auto x spostarsi
hotel staff was not good
It was not far from the place I had to go. Good staff, reasonable breakfast. Lot of noise from the highway close by. Shower tap worked wrong way (hot is cold, cold is hot, took a while to see...) Water streamed from shower into bathroom, unable to keep rest dry. No king size bed.
hotel was filled with drug users. my co-worker pulled up and 6 cops in parking lot with gloves on. hotel was filled with drug users. my co-worker pulled up and 6 cops in parking lot with gloves on.
the bill was 12 dollars on top of quoted price. combine all at time of price quotation.
Being asked to upgrade to a Suite for a very small fee. Very difficult to find, address not correct!
The room was clean. Room to small, not anywhere are nice as other Quality Inn & Suites we have stayed at. Pictures mislead you to think it is newer and nicer. Getting on and off Hwy. was horrible and we will not stay there again. The area is not safe and the train runs right outside your room making noise at all hours. The lobby was dirty, the elevator hot and cramped. This was a made over old hotel and should not be a Quality Inn & Suites, it does not do justice to the others we have been at.
Room was comfortable size. Loved the continental breakfast! quick drive to many great destinations.
Noisy and shady guests
location Yes, there appeared to be a pretty heavy drug and prostitution trade going on at this hotel. On the second and third floors there were clearly drug deals going down and people walking the exrterior balaconies at all hours of the night (2-4 am).
We liked nothing about it The electricity in the room didn't work, the toilet didn't flush, the water would not stay one temperature, the room was dirty, the WIFI didn't work at all, and the pool was closed the whole time because no one could be bothered to clean it. The worst part of the hotel was the manager Rakesh. He would not speak to anyone or help in any way. He would tell his employees to tell guests to just leave. He needs to be fired before this hotel can get any better.
Pros: -DirectTV -location (convenient to I8) -clean and comfortable beds -coffee in the lobby -very friendly and accommodating staff -pretty good breakfast -fridge, coffee maker, and microwave in the room Cons: -A bit rundown (chips in the bathtub, damaged hot tub surface, non-functioning bath drain) -Freeway noise -variable water pressure and temperature
Access from freewa is fast. Staff was excellent and flexible, very helpful with the cheking in. Enough parking space. free wifi. Pool and jaguzzi was nice, the location could be better, away from the freeway. When we arrived it smelled lioke a dogg had stayed in our room resently, that was no too nice. Breakfast could have been better.
I do not have a response to this question.
My girlfriend loved the mattress and pillows. I liked the pool and hot tub (not that hot, but good enough). It's in a very central location to get wherever needed in San Diego, and in our case Sea World. The staff also was very friendly. I checked in about 1 a.m. and the gentleman was very pleasant. My girlfriend also asked if she could get another mini bottle of shampoo/conditioner, and he gave me two. People who are bugged if things are not super spotless and new would have a problem, but if you know what you're getting with one of the least expensive options, then you'll be pleasantly surprised. Again, not much to dislike if you're prepared for a budget-friendly option. I was pleasantly surprised at this place as it was a great value. Maybe the toughest thing was parking, but there was a space when we checked in around 1 a.m. Saturday and when we got back from our day trip around 11 p.m. Saturday.
Looks nice Customer service wasnt great i got booked for the wrong day and couldn't get a refund due to the date of cancellation being on the 23rd and it was the 24th when i booked it...made no sense at all i was charged full price to cancel.
They had a pool and a hot tub. It was not difficult to locate. Nearby shopping ant eating places. Ran out of breakfast food too fast.
This was a generic motel right off the freeway. We just needed a place to sleep for a night. It was clean and the freeway noise was not too noticable.
We were extremely please with everything. Room comfortable. The only area for improvement would be the prking. People were taking up more than one space per car and parking at night was difficult.
very comfortable some loud people outside my door all hours of the night.
Close to my work, It can be noisey at times.
This hotel has drug and prostitution activity. They have a policeman standing security at night and we watched him run off a prostitue, but it still goes on during the day. No hair dryer, and the frige didn't work. Got the room for $45 a night thats the only reason we stayed.
Just about everything! The room was spacious and clean. Great experience with the staff. They were polite, friendly and there to help me with directions and getting checked in. It is a great location central to everything. I will stay there again for sure. There was some sort of a domestic dispute outside of my room (like a couple arguing) and then there was a car load of people sleeping@ 7am in the parking lot right next to my car .
I like the coffee and sweet rolls for breakfast, convience of laundry, location, price, and hot tub. Noisy neghbors, a cockroach in the room, and a rat running around in the pool area.
Place was very clean Manager was terrible. Argued with guests! Very unprofessional looking, she was wearing a dirty t-shirt. She should not be a manager! Water was out for over 12 hours. Couldnt flush toilets or take shower. Health violation and staff kept lying to guests. One employee told me that they brought a plumber from Los Angeles instead of local (San Diego) to save money. This took an extra 4 hours! DONT STAY HERE...I WONT EVER AGAIN.
I was put in a smoking room even tho I requested a non smoking room. I canceled the reservation and left. I went across the street to a different hotel, much better.
Location was great! Restaurant was close, freeway access were close, commuter rail close, security present. Bathroom toilet had low water line, sink water flow was low, the tube had a slow drain, and the television would go on any off every 15 min.
No free breakfast available. Paying for parking is ridiculous I'm a guest I should have free parking. The front lady who helped me checked in was rude.
bath mat to prevent slipping clean white sheets note paper and pen beside bed. No fridge available] No microwave available carpets are all grubby parking is extra money and for someone alone parking has no security guard. light next to bed did not work properly ice machine was not easy to use and you had to go out into the hall to locate it. door key card took a long time to work No help with luggage to and from car in the heat!
Beautiful hotel for a young couple , decent price for a beautiful hotel. Loved our stay here.
It's a great hotel clean and friendly staff. The location is great there's a lot of shopping centers around there Parking is expensive they should have like a one time pass fee
Enjoyed the location of the room! House keeping were polite, friendly and hardworking! It was clean! Staff was friendly and professional as well! We had to renew our card twice because it did not work to unlock the room nor to let us out of the parking lot.
Clean, up to date
Loved the central location, restaurants and shopping nearby. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Elevators we're going through an upgrade during our stay, so staying on the 10th floor was challenging at times.
The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious. Very modern and everything was up to date. Nice and quiet.
The rooms and the facilities were fine, clean and cozy. The hotel was in a great area surrounded by different restaurants and stores. I thinl is a joke that being a guest in the hotel you still have to pay for parking lot which it should be included with how much they charge you per night
3 blocks from coaster, very comfortable, free shuttle to the airport, beds are fantastic They nickel and dime you for in-room wifi (seriously?)
Good value for you money. Very clean. Good facilities. Bed too soft, it is like it is just made entirely of pillow. I had some maintenance issues in my room, which they fixed, but they wanted me to move instead.
the bed was very comfortable. The restaurants and lounge were enjoyable.
The amazing view, the helpful and friendly staff, and the amazing deal!
Rooms were good size with a nice view. Big screen TV. Downtown location near to attractions. Didn't sleep well because the mattress was a bit lumpy. Gave me a backache. The breakfast menu is pricey. $44/day for parking. Hotel like Westin should have free parking available for guests.
Not all staff was friendly, room wasn't thoroughly cleaned one day and Cafe and restaurants only open till 1pm. Also some staff gave poor directions as to how to get to places.
The room was very comfortable and had a nice layout.
Great location, clean hotel, GREAT bed. Best sleep I've had in a while. Bathroom was nothing to write home about and parking is a bit expensive
Loved the staff. The woman at the front desk was super friendly and nice and her alone would make me want to come back and enjoy the Westin again!
Clean friendly $44 parking cost and one way streets with only two valets
this Hotel is on nice area, walk distance to Midway museum & seaport Village, very convenience & we will definitely come back again for vacation!
I was very satisfied, was even able to check in hours ahead of schedule and was upgraded to a better room. The location is fantastic as well as the view, staff was attentive and courteous, definitely recommend this place.
Had the old Hollywood feel and look. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. only neg. was the reception on the TV.
Most of the staff was very friendly, and the decor was nice. The walls were paper thin and you could hear absolutely everything. Our first room was over the parking garage entrance, and would shake like a small earthquake each time the garage door would open. After requesting a change, we were put directly over the lounge, which pumped loud music into our (2nd story) room all night. The rooms were filthy, with mold growing in the bathroom, and years of filth piled anywhere the vacuum did not immediately reach. To top in all off, on our way out, my wife decided to take a few pictures of the pool. There was one person sitting by the pool (on the side opposite of us) obviously vaporizing nicotine, so the hotel staff decided to come yell at my wife and I, threatening us with fines for smoking. It was aggressive, rude, and forceful, when they had no idea as to the actual situation. I would NEVER stay here again.
Very unique and interesting hotel. The staff were friendly and our room was neat and clean. The hotel is located in a cool part of the city with plenty of nearby restaurants and bars. I would definitely stay here again! The attached restaurant near the lobby was over priced, in my opinion, and the service could have been a bit better. For example, the server knocked over my wife's coffee and made a mess on the table, but they never cleaned it up. We had to use our napkins to do it ourselves. Not a huge deal, but could have been better.
close to our daughters home
The hotel was 15 minutes from a bunch of places, so it wasn't too bad as far as convenience. The description said free wifi, but wifi was only available in the lobby. We'd called for desk service and they were so slow to respond and bring what we requested to our room. The suite itself was mediocre at best, but at least it was clean. Really, really small bathrooms though and the windows were so awkwardly placed. If you opened the bathroom window, people passing by got a direct view of you on the toilet, so thats uncomfortable.
I loved the huge bed and linens were nice. Staff was very friendly and the bar was cayuuuute! My room had dusty lampshades, and picture frames. The corners of the bathroom floor were dirty with debris and some hair from the previous guest.
It has a great authentic retro look and the lobby and cafe (good food) were great places to hang out. Staff was friendly. The walls were thin and there was a noisy family in the room next door. However, the staff spoke to them and they quieted down so sleeping was not a problem.
It was a nice place. They charged me a daily parking rate in addition to the other costs. This was an issue because I did not realize they were charging me.
no microwave and refrigerator in the room.
Friendly knowledgeable staff. Good location. Quiet and clean.
We LOVED our time at The Lafayette. It has such a cool vibe and the staff was so kind. We had our toddler with us and he had a great time in the pool and getting stickers from the front desk staff. We can't wait to go back! There are weddings and events on Saturday which was loud, but they stopped right at 10pm. It looked so fun! So we didn't mind.
Comfy bed. Great value Bathrooms could be nicer.
Room was nice and clean. The view was great. Location was great, located is in the middle of gas lamp and the convention center to take the ferry to Coronado. No self parking garage. Valet only at $47 a night.
They gave my Wrong room
Location is amazing!! Very clean! Nice staff Didnt end up getting a room with two beds like I had reserved because I booked through a third party.
Convenient location, friendly staff. Super corporate, fixtures seemed old, rooms poorly ventilated.
Loved the room and location At check in, the young man at the front desk seemed a little condescending and rude.
Room per night was cheap 120... plus tax... I was there for comic con...it's a hotel it's not a 4 star hotel though...maybe for location but the amenities are very basic and the guy there was rude at the front desk.
Hotel was excellent location. From the minute we drove up to valet to checking in and out, customer service was great. Right in the main location of downtown gaslamp, next to Petco park which we were there for the All Star game. Had an amazing time. Would definitely stay here again. Customer service, location and hotel. Room was comfortable.
Very good location for the Gaslamp Quarter Didn't know that it was Valet Parking only at $47 per night. With this charge added to the room charge per night, I don't think I'd stay here again.
Two-minute walk to the exhibit halls and lots of shops and restaurants just outside the hotel doors. Central location for site-seeing as well.
The hotel was lovely and the concierge was super helpful in finding me a place to get a relaxing mani-pedi.
Very expensive parking
Staff was exceptionally nice & friendly. Room was perfect, clean & comfortable. Location was amazing, close to everything, but not too close, so noise was never an issue. Would be nice to have a larger bar that offered tap beer
I liked that it was in a good area where evrything you need or want to visit is close by. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Will stay there again was very pleased with my stay!!!!
I loved the decor and colors of the room as well as the large tv. There were several bugs, including one about the size of a dime. Plus there were stains on the walls, furniture, and carpet. I didn't look like they did a good job cleaning it.
Bad location. Seemed really dirty and old.
The location and the mattresses were nice and firm. The manager was friendly. It was dingy looking and the phone was not charged and therefore didn't work. That's a security risk for guests. Staff didn't tell me that I needed to flip a switch on the wall in order to make the window unit's switch operational. The continental breakfast was just Corn Flakes, coffee and stale croissants.
staff It was not new like ad said and the box spring was falling apart.
Not a thing!!!! It was in a horrible location and the hotel was a mess. Our room was just getting made when we arrived around 2 pm , The room was hot and very disgusting! I wish I had looked at the room before handed my credit card over to the employee there, Their ice machine wasn't even working Ive stayed in a Howard Johnsons before and its a shame that their name is on this awful motel.
The hotel served it's purpose. The bedding was stained and blankets were clearly old and worn. There obviously has not been any attempt to make necessary repairs or upkeep in many years. The hotel is in poor condition overall. I would describe it as old and rundown! Would I stay there again???? Absolutely not! We booked 2 rooms because all other hotels were booked and our friends were so grossed out they drove 2 hours home after a long tiring day instead of sleeping there!
Air conditioner didn't work well, bed wasn't confortable, bathroom faucet didn't work properly, shower appeared very dirty and would not used.
the floor was sticky..when u walked around on it your feet would get black..beds were hard..towels were thin..tv was small and you couldnt turn off closed caption..neighborhood looked dangerous..toilet was broken on one side..no iron and ironing board the floor was sticky..when u walked around on it your feet would get black..beds were hard..towels were thin..tv was small and you couldnt turn off closed caption..neighborhood looked dangerous..toilet was broken on one side..no iron and ironing board
I like every thing , every thing was very good and I enjoyed my time very much. Nothing was not good.
friendly staff, very clean rooms, beautiful view, accessible inconvenient parking fees for valet, no fridge in rooms, pricey
Staff was very courteous, rooms were clean and well stocked, beds were comfortable and had clean sheets. Clise to bars and restaurants. Overall very comfortable. Location is a bit far from the beach
Its was clean staff was amazing I have nothing that we didn't like
I love everything about this hotel! From the location, the rooms, the staff, the bar and restaurant, to the new friends I made.
Solid hotel as always Front desk clerk who checked us in was not professional and quite curt. Train your staff for those who travel far distances who deserve a little common courteously, will you?
it's a great location. Easy access to any part of sd. Our neighbors were partying until 4 am despite complaints. Hotel did not do anything about it.
Loved the location, bed, look and feel of the room, and the staff. I stayed in a water facing room with a (sort of) balcony on the 20th floor. It was a tremendous view I had a fantastic time. Couldn't possibly be closer to gas lamp district The room was a bit small and unequipted for the price per night. No microwave or refrigerator unless you call and ask for one to be sent up which was a bit tedious. Overall only complaint I could have
Facilities were very well kept. Room was very nice, and looked out over the Bay Area. Great location to GasLamp Quarter, restaurants, and connects to Petco Park. Great proximity to the convention center. Staff was accommodating. Concierge and valet staff were very knowledgeable on good places to eat/see in San Diego and other surrounding vicinities such as La Jolla, Coronado, etc. Also, got a little discount on zoo tickets by purchasing them at the hotel. Valet parking is a little steep. They charge $40.00/day. I agree they should charge for the service as its quicker and easier for someone to park your car and bring it to you, but $40.00/day is a little high. On the upside, you can use it as much as you want.
The room was clean and well laid out. The bed was comfortable, and the windows was nice and big. The bathroom stayed humid/moist for a long while after taking a shower.
Staff were very nice. Clean hotel. Very accommodating I got charged $42 fot valet parking. Valet parking should be free. You are already spending money in staying in that hotel why wouldn't the valet parking be included?? That's one thing I was Not happy about.
Very friendly and helpful employees everywhere! Need better nacho chips
The second room we got was really nice & the bed was very comfortable. We got to the hotel about 1 1/2 late from check in & it still wasn't ready at all. We had come from almost a 2 hr drive & were really tired.
I found bugs roaches in the bed
Reservations were not ready at check in time (3pm). Returned at 5 to check in, they gave me my key. Walked to my room to find that it still had not been cleaned, and had no bedding. Room also smelled 100% cig smoke, even though I asked for non smoking
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Owners on sight and very pleasant. Carpet was old and dirty. Room smelled less than fresh.
The shower had good water pressure. Property is very run down and note is a very good state of repair. Room was not clean, linens were old and tattered, unprinted whole repairs in walls and ceiling throughout. Parking and outdoor lighting were horrible.
The hotel has water damage and it was raining and leaked in the room all night couldn't I sleep. Worst hotel I have ever stayed.
Tv, bed, shower The clerk warned me ahead of time not to call him, but tech support when I inevitably can't log into the wifi. Breakfast is terrible. Receipt had to be specifically requested
Room was good sized. Bed very comfortable. The bathroom was very utilitarian and there was water leaking from toilet or bath. Fan was too loud in there too. Not enough power outlets.
The staff is not friendly , we were a travelling family and arrived very late at night . The desk attendant was uncaring and insisted we pay extra fee for a mistake with online booking to downgrade from a king-size room to a standard double bed. Also there was no parking space available, Guest parking lot was small and trasy. We had to park down the street and walk in dark night..
Comfy beds, free breakfast and wifi Construction in the pool area under my window early in the morning.
It was in a fantastic location close to Old Town, and San Diego State Park. Rooms had small kitchen with all necessities available for our use. Breakfast was included WiFi didn't work consistently, property too spread out. Had to go through so many gates, and up and down stairs to get to pool, and restaurant where breakfast was served. Depending on who was on duty, the desk clerks were rather passe' about helping us figure out how the bus system worked, or answering questions about the property and how to find the pool, restaurant, etc. One night we used the elevator to get up to the restaurant to go to dinner, and by the time we were finished with dinner and on the top floor, the elevator was out of order, and we had to use the stairs. For us this was no problem, but we saw a woman who could hardly walk, and what was she supposed to do in this situation? I do have to say that we liked the location so much that we will probably stay at the BW Hacienda again. If I had small children, all the stairs would have been a nightmare!!
Hotel advertises they have shuttle service, called before booking to confirm shuttle service but was never told its within certain hours and areas. construction going on, detour is pretty bad when you are at the end of the hotel.
Rooms good space- How CLEAN the rooms are and the small extras provided ..Water btls- coffee extra Towels on request. Hotel in the center on the city street event. perfect for walking no- car traveling. needed. Hotel Cafe available again very nice. all the staff ready to serve and extremely friendly. We have enjoy our 2nd year now at this Hotel. we had a Fabulous stay!!!
Location was great
This is a beautiful Hotel above San diego's Old Town with rooms in different buildings set on the hill, The look is old Spanish style with open patios and fountains and an amazing view all the way to the bay. There is a very good Mexican restaurant on the premises with breakfast included that is much better than your average included breakfast. The staff was courteous and helpful and they seemed to like working there. I was there 4 days on business and very much enjoyed my stay. The only issue might be for those who are challenged with stairs.
I liked the location, cleanliness, and that there is a restaurant/bar on site. The airport shuttle is a plus. The shuttle services only takes you to the airport, the restaurant/bar is expensive, and the layout is confusing if you stay in building 6. To get to building 6 you have to go up stairs unless you can park in the parking garage.the doors have gaps under them so small critters can get underneath.
The venue and area was so beautiful. It had everything there. Will definitely come back The elevator was broken.
Traveling on business - very easy access from airport and to the clients I worked with. There is plenty to do within walking distance being in Old Town - or you can stay at the Hacienda and enjoy their amenities. The staff at the Hacienda were welcoming and accommodating to any request that I had.
location, layout of hotel (multi-levels, outdoor), clean rooms, beautiful views, pay for parking, confusing layout of hotel, rooms were a little outdated
The Hacienda came through for us with flying Mexican colors on Cinco de Mayo Weekend The hotel staff must be commended from Jesus the Hotel Manager to Celine on front desk staff to Kasandra in house keeping. You all deserve a big Cinco de Mayo Gracias!! What a view and sounds of the Old Town Cinco de Mayo festivities from our balcony. Muchas Gracias Hacienda - we'll be back !!! Nada !!
The view was beautiful There was no parking in my section of room stay so I had to park and the other side of the building and to top that off I had to go up 75 stair steps 4 total flights because the elevator was out of service with luggage it was even harder very disappointed with that situation
Location was across the street from Old Town. Finding parking on the street on a weekend was almost impossible. You have to buy a parking pass from the hotel for an extra $16 per day.
Price and nearness to Qualcom Stadium.couldn't We had called one week in advance to change our reservation. When we arrived there was no record of the change. We were lucky that they had vacancies. In the confusion, we were overcharged for four nights when we only stayed three. The desk clerk couldn't directly refund us $89.99, and we are having to dispute the charge through Discover.
Decent suites at decent price. 12 dollar cab ride to Viejas arena. Parking a bit of a hassle when garage is full. Only ice machine is by second floor elevator. Elevator is super slow, and the trudge up to the third floor was a pain. Other than that, good value. I would stay here again, but would book earlier to guarantee second floor room.
