Pros: Food was exceptionally good. We tried most of the menu. Beer was great as was the wine. The staff were lovely and friendly and made us feel very welcome. We would recommend staying here. Great base to visit the beautiful area.
Cons: Nothing. Only slight niggle was the restaurant and bar were closed on the Wednesday evening we stayed. Whilst this was mentioned on a reception note it wasn't clear.

Pros: The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast is also good. Would definitely recommend this place for dinner as well. The owner was friendly and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very welcoming and friendly. All meals to a very high standard. The perfect base to explore the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great food and restaurant facility for evening meal and breakfast (although note the food standard is high so it is fairly expensive). Food and drink reflected the local region. Nice quiet location and plenty of car parking. Well located for anyone with a car for visiting the central Rhineland, Hunsruck and Eifel areas and in a village away from the main tourist areas.
Cons: Nothing for me; but people with mobility issues might need to know that there are plenty of steps up and down from the car parking.

Pros: Great breakfast served by a smiling host. Just the thing to get your day off on a good start. Helpful in getting my bike locked in the garage. Town an easy five minute walk away.
Cons: Room was quite hot and I had to leave the window open fully. Got the trains and church bells loud and clear.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very welcoming and were expecting our arrival. The room was a little dated but spotlessly clean with an updated bathroom & shower. The included breakfast was excellent - a good choice of cereals, meat, cheeses and preserves. Also a large pot of coffee and juice. We look forward to returning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and the restaurant is a lovely place to have dinner. The room was very comfortable and clean. I would recommend for solo travellers/walkers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best greeting on arrival..so friendly and helpful. Clean..Clean, beautifully clean everywhere. The restaurant..really great food and catered for all dietary requirements. We wonder why aren't all hotels run so efficiently friendly? Cannot fault!!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The cleanliness, the staff, decoration, good smell, view of Rhein from room window, breakfast, parking space
Cons: non-continuous noise from outside, location only good to stay besides the Rhein
9.0 Excellent
Pros: View over Rhine River was first rate. Breakfast was excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room , owners very helpful and very sociable, good food.
Cons: An annex in uk is an add on to an existing building not a separate house 80mts away translation may be the cause. It was a little noisy with the trains all through the night and barges on the river
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing people working at the hotel. And they love dogs and let dogs stay at the hotel. A nice experience! next time we are coming with all 4 our dogs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and absolutely delicious food!
Cons: All super
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are ln the restaurant building and a second guesthouse. In the restaurant they are on the 3rd floor (2nd by German naming), with 3 of the 4 rooms overlooking the Rhine. The view of the archive was awesome, and we watched barges and cruise ships pass. The rooms were big enough and very clean.
Cons: Noise. This area is among the busiest for train traffic, w a train passing on one side of the Rhine or the other every 2-4 minutes. You can easily hear the trains from the other side of the river. The hotel is just above the main road, so late evening and early morning traffic can be easily heard. As everywhere, the “inconsiderati “ love loud motorcycles. Sleeping was difficult w the windows open because of the considerable noise. Although it was quite cool out, keeping the windows closed caused the room to be uncomfortably warm.
7.9 Good
Cons: Rooms need ventilation other than the window. Temperature was fine when the window was open but road and rail noise forced us to shut the window.

Pros: Very friendly young lady booked me in and told me all I needed to know and explained parking arrangements. Hotel retained a classy feel and the bar was comfortable and olde worlde. Big room with no view but it was dark anyway. Nice hotel in a nice town, plenty places to eat close by but I did not sample hotel cuisine. I enjoyed a negroni in the bar.

Pros: Old world charm.
Cons: Not much to do in the area.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice and comfortable hotel on a nice location, very helpful staff, excellent stay!
Cons: Limited parking facilities, although the available parking solutions are of good quality.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Magnificent historic hotel. Brilliant location. The room was very good and the bathroom superb. Staff was excellent except for one surly, unsming chap in the breakfast room.
Cons: A tall, swarthy, unsmiling, arrogant staff member in the breakfast lounge. Considering everyone else was so friendly, so decent, it was a let down that this chap could be so arrogant over nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the spa amenities.
Cons: Didn’t care for the memory foam mattress.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: There is one remark about the condition of the equipment in the sauna area: - steam generators do not work in the Roman steam room and steam room with aromatherapy; - in the salt room some time ago (several years) there was an unpleasant smell of dampness (or mold) and nothing was done. I have something to compare, because I first stayed at this hotel (it was called Haeckers Kurhotel) in 2007, and for a long time the equipment about, which I wrote above, worked perfectly.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Staff and Breakfast.
Cons: This is an old resort slowly coming to an end. Terrible furniture, worst sheets. One room smelled, another extremely dark (had to upgrade it). Bathrooms were fine. Only for older people interested in hot spring.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: beautiful area and hotel very plush and comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable hotel and staff .
Cons: Some of the food at dinner could have been better. Duck I had was inedible.
6.7 Good
Pros: Exclusive room was big with comfortable bathroom. Warm swimming pool and saunas were great. Hotel is beautiful (only from the outside though).
Cons: Welcome was very cold. We were not given basic info like when and where’s breakfast served. Staff speaks basically only German, we were treated like second category guests. Very chaotic breakfast - tables not ready, missing food (eventually good quality though), staff not very helpful. Hotel filled with old people. Overall too outdated and too expensive for what you get. Parking very problematic.
Kleiner Riesen - Koblenz - Building

9.6 Excellent
Pros: It’s right in front of the Rhein River. We walked everywhere even to and from train station 2 or 3 blocks away. The hotel and room were very nicely done. Clean and bright. Breakfast was a bargain at €6 which had cold smoke salmon and a small variety of cheeses and cold cuts and lots of fresh baked breads and other European breakfast affairs. Includes regular coffee but have to pay for other fancy coffees like Cappuccinos.
Cons: Should include other types of coffees and up the breakfast price. That would make the experience so much more perfect.
6.7 Good
Pros: Great staff. thank you Oliver. Super breakfast. Nice river walk in front through nice residential area.
Cons: Supper restaurants 7 minute walk. Central Koblenz 12 to15 minute walk. Ensure that you specify full river view or else you may get limited side view. Be specific.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our second visit to the hotel. We love the quiet picturesque location directly fronted onto the Rhein. Since our last visit, the rooms have been renovated and are particularly comfortable. It is great to have a balcony with such a pretty outlook. The bathroom is spacious with every amenity one needs. The service and helpfulness of the staff was exemplary. Breakfast was delicious and the morning views across the terrace to the water wonderful.
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely breakfast with the wonderfull view over the river.
Cons: The coffiee-drinkers have the ready made coffee in a proper coffee-pot to stand at the table where you sit. Please give the tea-drinkers the same possibility. A proper tea pot (4-5 cups) for water and tea bags to allow the wanted amount of tea to pull the necessary amount of minutes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were large and we loved the balcony with the Rhine River view.
Cons: A little far to walk from the train station
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and amenities were superb—a large very comfortable room with a view of the river. The staff was friendly and warm—it was lovely to chat with them. The location was great, just a few steps from the promenade along the Rhine and an easy walk to the old part of the town. We were disappointed to not be able to stay longer and we do plan to return to this hotel . Thank you for making our stay in Koblenz so enjoyable!
Cons: Nothing/-everything was great!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a fabulous room. It was very modern and comfortable with a view of the town and a garden. The bathroom is a modern wonder with an electric toilet which kept us amused. Breakfast was fantastic with an excellent range of food and great coffee. Staff were so helpful and as we arrived early and didn't get back from our boat trip until late, our luggage was stored for us then taken to our room. When we arrived back, all we had to do was pick up the key and crash. We couldn't have been happier with everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were part of a group of 8 people who were riding bikes up the Moselle for the next week and the hotel was excellent for our one night in Koblenz. Location was perfect for arrival from Airport, and eventual transfer to our boat on the River.

8.0 Excellent
Cons: Parking space. Expensive and steep hill
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Big room, clean, nice big TV, free and easy to setup Wifi, good location. Seperate toilet and bathroom.
Cons: For me personally, matrass was too soft. The interior is a bit dated, its a family-ran style hotel. Nothing wrong with it but not as modern as G-Hotel. Breakfast is good but at 13 EUR overpriced.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, great breakfast. Amazing dinner at the hotel. Great city to visit. Quiet area. Staff was very keen to help us with rips how to enjoy hotel and the city. Sparkling clean hotel and the room. Secure parking just in th hotel's courtyard - very convenient.
Cons: The hotel is not exactly close to the city centre but it is within walking distance you just need to walk a bit longer - about 45 munutes. This is fine as long as the weather is good. No probem to us at all.
6.7 Good
Pros: good breakfast, cute terrace, large room
Cons: no air conditioning, no refrigerator in room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good selection for breakfast: fruit, several cereals, several breads, several cheeses, several meats, several spreads (jam, honey, etc), scrambled egg and bacon, boiled eggs, coffee. Large breakfast room. Wonderful garden courtyard for dinner, with candles and lights, flowers and vines. Our room looked onto the courtyard but was private enough. Wide choice for dinner, mainly traditional German dishes. The location allows easy access to the banks of the Mosel, the old town and the banks of the Rhein. Cycle paths are easily accessed. It is on a bus route but fairly quiet. There are local shops, including 2 supermarkets, within easy reach along with other restaurants. Parking was on site, and free.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast very good but the location meant a 1 hour walk into the centre Good car park
7.9 Good

6.7 Good
Pros: The restaurant was reallly nice and offered good fish, meat and vegetarian dishes
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff was rude and unwelcoming. We tried to have a coffee and cake and the gentleman never returned to take our order we eventually approached someone else they said the kitchen was closed but left us sitting there.
Cons: Staff!! When we arrived at 5:30 the room had only 1 pillow and a dirty towel on the floor next to the toilet. The owner was upset we actually wanted it removed.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location comfortable very good restaurant and breakfast helpful staff
Hotel Weiland - Lahnstein - Bar
2
7.3 Good (507 reviews)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was exceptionally polite and helpful. The location is just 50 meters from the river and the town centre. We had a nice view of the river from our balcony
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and the hotel was run well. Rooms were clean and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We were able to safely store our bikes in a garage owned by the hotel. Great restaurants are a short walk away. All in all, a great value!
Cons: The train tracks are nearby the hotel and my mother had to keep her window closed during the night to get restful sleep. The room my partner and I stayed in was located on the backside of the hotel and we couldn't hear the trains with our window open - so guests who have trouble sleeping may want to request a room on the backside of the hotel.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good room, clean.
Cons: Close to train station. A lot of train noise at night. Restaurant closed.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: Nothing
6.7 Good
Pros: We very much like the room on the 4th floor with a beautiful view of the river Rhein and the surrounding mountains. The hotel was located just 50 m from the train station and in the center of the city with good restaurants nearby.
Cons: We missed the information that the hotel was not located in Lahnstein, but in the part of city named Oberlahnstein. This caused us big trouble finding this hotel. The room and the bathroom were fine, however, the balcony was very small. This was not the impression from the information received before we arrived. The breakfast on Sunday morning was poor and insufficient with many clients and not so much bread nor extra supplies. In one situation a staff member was told a lesson by her superiore in the elevator in the present of us and other hotel clients - not much respect for working staff. Heavy train traffic during night time made my sleep disrupted every night.
7.9 Good
Pros: We liked the location near the river Rhine
Cons: The room was very hot and noisy. The round bed looked nice but was terrible to get into and out off for a person with arthritis
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great and location for cycling along the Rhine was good.
Cons: It looked to have a restaurant but it was not open so we had to look elsewhere for dinner
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel is nice, the staff is friendly and welcoming. The room was big enough and clean. The breakfast was good. Location near to the river promenade and there are some nice places to have a dinner 5-10 minutes walk from hotel.
Cons: Actually the hotel is situated near the train line and it's really noisy. It makes no difference, if you'll close windows and balkony or leave it open. It's noisy in any case, when the train is passing through. Between 23:00 and 6:00 there is no trains, or almost no trains, but if you would like to sleep till 9:00 and you're a noise-sensitive one, that yould be an epic fale. No iron for the guests. I found it really weird.
