Pros: Nice, homeless interior, friendly personal
Cons: Poor breakfast- cold. All cold, also eggs and vegetables from yesterday. There is no in the room also glasses for water, for this price in this region you can fined more friendly and reach hotels...
Pros: Fantastic staff, super friendly and the restaurant was brilliant for meals, especially dinner.
Cons: Bathroom shower facilities were quite small and could maybe do with some modernisation.
Pros: The hotel and its history are truly remarkable... It was restored from a 19th century farm / barn structure and transformed into a unique new use. The food and kitchen here are renowned and have carried a Michelin star rating... Also visited by such notaries as Sir Richard Branson The view of the Danube from the restaurant / breakfast room is worth the cost of a nights stay all by itself. The old town of Lauingen is a short walk away.
Cons: Choice of a firmer pillow would have been welcome... I found the feather pillows provided were a little soft... just a personal preference.
Pros: Very comfortable bed. Nice rooms. Clean bathroom. What I personally liked most - was the helpfull staff. I've arrive after midnight - Key was waiting and the room was ready. Awesome!

Pros: I stay at this hotel 4 days on a monthly basis and have been doing this for quite a few years which says it all :)
Pros: I stay once a month throughout the year and enjoy the accommodation and food in the restaurant.
Pros: The hotel is located in an old historical building (that wasn't designed as a hotel I believe), so it has its own unique atmosphere and giant (really huge) guest halls on every floor. There are just few rooms in the whole hotel (twenty-something I believe), so it's fair to call it a boutique hotel as it's relatively small and has its own unique style. Stuff is super friendly. Cards accepted (not so typical for "real" Germany). Good restaurant (recommended) and valuable breakfast as a result. Nice coffee bar that makes it a good place to relax. Located right in front of main town square in the heart of the area. Within walking distance to train station. Has parking slots (not sure about price, didn't use). Free wifi access, quite stable. Modern bathrooms, really well done. Super clean bed linen, looks fresh and smell nice. Would definitely like to stay here again, can honestly say that I enjoyed my time here.
Cons: Maybe it was the case for my room only but I didn't find an air conditioning system, so you have to sleep with opened windows. It's not noisy at all in the night but could be too warm in summer. So, if you really need a cold air and can't survive without AC - better to ask in advance. Right now the building is under construction (renovation) so the front side doesn't look good and it could be noisy, but didn't have any issues at all.
Pros: The hotel was incredible! Great place, highly recommend.
Pros: Hotel is located in a centre of beautiful old town. Service is very polite and professional. Food in hotel's restaurant is really great and serves regional kitchen. Rooms in the Hotel were spacious and clean.
Pros: old, historical house in the Center of the town. quiet at night. great offer of salts, spices, oils and jams - everything from own production - very friendly staff - the Gormetrestaurant I could not visit this evening unfortunately. I will stay there again.
Pros: Nice Breakfast, nice staff
Cons: the room has a strange smell, maybe it was a smoking room The internet didn't work (tried connecting with 3 different devices)
Pros: Very nice hotel in the main square. Comfortable room and good restaurant and breakfast. The building is quite old - which is both good and bad.
Pros: I stay here on a monthly basis which says it all.
This family-run hotel is located in the heart of Lauingen, not far from the left bank of the River Danube, in the Swabian part of Bavaria. The Genießerhotel Lodner is a beautiful 19th century building, which has been restored to provide guests with all imaginable modern comforts. You will appreciate the gourmet cuisine on offer here, as well as the 14th century vaulted wine cellar, where you can choose from a wide selection of delicious wines. Guests may park for free here at the hotel.
Pros: The hotel also offers town information service and the receptionist was well informed, helpful and friendly. The rooms are very spacious and good quality.
Pros: It's a neat little sleep-over when going to Legoland. Breakfast is great and comfort of the room is what you usually get in hotels.
Cons: It's a bit confusing when checking in, because from the pictures I assumed the yellow building was the right one, but it wasn't. When entering the yellow building, you actually enter a restaurant - no reception there. The reception is in the next building on the right. So once checked in - the host was kind and informative - you get the cards and then use side entrances of both building to migrate from room to breakfast. :) Also when with car the parking is guaranteed.
Pros: Great location, very friendly owner, and staff, you can buy good quality spices at the reception! Also there is wine cellar but it came to our attention too late, so couldn’t try the wines
Cons: The room was small, especially the bathroom. it was ok for 2 nights, but next time would ask for a bigger one
Pros: The staff I interacted with were all very friendly and accommodating. I was in Lauingen (birthplace of my mother) to explore her roots.
Cons: I have no complaints whatsoever. Location of the hotel 1/2 block away from Rathouse was ideal for my visit, made my walks around town easy given its central location.
Pros: Very kind staff, restaurant/ bar in the hotel, nice historical city center, just a few minutes walk to the danube river.
Pros: Our room was clean and a reasonable size. Breakfast had a good choice of hot a cold food. Staff where pleasant and helpful pointing out local tourism highlights, including providing a key for the 200+ step tower in the town centre. Centrally located. Secure bike storage in the adjoining Drei Mohren hotel.
Pros: Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food at the restaurant was delicious. We had a pleasant stay and would return in a heartbeat.
Pros: While the room was the nicest I visited during the first week of my trip, it is the staff that most impressed me. First they offered me access to the town clock tower, and afterwards the girl at the desk proved indispensable. My booking for the following night cancelled, and the lady spent many minutes assisting me in re-booking. I am very thankful (and got a much better booking for the next night).
Pros: Very nice hotel and really helpful and friendly staff. They offered us to take a free tour in one of the town's sights, namely the the 55 meter high tower at center of the town, which we did. Highly recommended!
Cons: Not much to write other that that I've never been a fan of transparent bathroom doors. This was unfortunately one of the modern design attributes in the room where we stayed, but this is only to be seen as a minor remark.

Pros: Great restaurant when it did open
Cons: Close to train station but a ways away from everything. Long wait for food and drinks when your hungry and thirsty and nothing else really close by
Pros: Very welcoming staff and team. It makes such a huge difference. I loved this hotel.
Pros: Breakfast great. and the owner very kind and helpful.
Pros: Good breakfast
Pros: Host was very cooperative and was good with the communication. Rooms are clean and tidy. We enjoyed the stay there.
