Hotel well located for tourist purposes. Room big enough but without character. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Purely.
The idea for serving breakfast is terrible. The day before, you have to mark what you want for breakfast and hang it on the door of the room. This makes breakfast very modest. The vegetables could not be eaten because they were distasteful. I do not recommend the hotel because of this strange concept of serving breakfast. Air conditioning in the room noisy.
perfect location, super friendly staff, comfy bed
room a bit small, but great for the price
From check in to check out the hotel staff at the hotel were amazing. This hotel is in an excellent location, convenient to the tram stop and the shopping district. Most of the tourist attractions are well within walking distance from the hotel. We were not able to check in when we arrived but we were greeted with a welcome drink and they offered to store our luggage until it was check in time (3pm). The front desk staff are friendly and try to make sure you have everything you need. I was in Lisbon during my birthday and the staff went above and beyond to provide a pleasant stay. I was greeted to a bottle of cava and some delicious pasteis de nata (a local Portuguese pastry). I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to have a great stay while in Lisbon.
The bathroom was a little outdated but to be expected as this hotel is in a renovated building. They did a great job of keeping an antique feel while updating this property for a comfortable stay but they could have done a bit more to update the bathroom.
The reception staff were very pleasant and gave great assistance with things to do and even booked a restaurant in the evening for us. Breakfast was excellent and we intend to visit again next year as the hotel is also in a great position for many attractions and the central areas.
The location was excellent in the heart of the tourist area. A two minute walk from food, shopping, and down the road from the sea and public transport. A short taxi/Uber ride from the main train station Santa Apolonia..
