For impeccable taste down to every detail, head to the InterContinental London Park Lane Hotel at One Hamilton Place, in London's Mayfair neighborhood. Built on the site of Queen Elizabeth II's childhood home, in between Green Park and Hyde Park, the hotel has views across to Buckingham Palace. The recently refurbished hotel offers 447 serene and gracious rooms, including 60 spacious luxury suites.
The Place To Be
The InterContinental London Park Lane Hotel epitomizes convenience, with a 24-hour front desk, full-service spa, fitness center, and beauty salon. The hotel's restaurants are more than noteworthy; Theo Randall is considered one of London's best spots for rustic Italian cuisine, and its adjoining bar is a lovely place to unwind with a Bellini. The more casual Cookbook Cafe is popular for its seasonal British cooking. Other in-house highlights include breakfast at the seventh-floor InterContinental Club overlooking Hyde Park, afternoon tea in the Wellington Lounge, and bi-monthly Gin & Jazz evenings at the Arch Bar. The hotel also offers several banquet and conference rooms.
Enjoy the Surroundings
Guests at the InterContinental London Park Lane Hotel can walk to both Buckingham Palace and Harrods. The lively Thames South Bank is nearby, as is plenty of designer shopping in Knightsbridge. The sushi restaurant Nobu is around the corner, while the old school, elegant casino Les Ambassadeurs Club is right down the block.
There was nothing to dislike about this hotel. The facilities were absolutely fabulous. The Theo Randell Restaurant was first class - the food was out of this world. The staff at the hotel could not do enough for you and were very friendly and made you feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Nothing at all - I will certainly be going back there and have recommend the same to my friends.
it has a very nice bar and the staff are very friendly
yes, the smoking rooms i did not like
Helpful staff and good facilities central location near an excellent selection of restaurants
Rooms far too small for the price,I booked a luxury room but it was smaller than any room I have stayed in before in London
Reception overcrowded & slow to attend
I like the place and view.
Location, quality, well trained and passionate staff, this is a first class hotel
For 5 star the room was not as large as I would expect, although a very good size, building work across from our window was a shame
Overnight stay to see start of London to Brighton Vintage Car Rally (about a 10 min stroll to Hyde Park), so was not in the hotel long enough to fully appreciate it. TV has sports channels (Sky, ESPN).
Shower-head was fixed to the wall, as opposed to hand-held.
(1) Hotel & doorman were kind enough to store our luggages before checking in (coz we landed london, then liverpool and newcastle before heading back to london). And most wonderful was that the doorman was able to remember us when we got back. (2)After we checked in, luggages were beign delivered to room real quick.
(1) Water supply in shower is weak, it's a difficulty for female with long hairs to wash their hair. With inter-continental, that's not something I expected (2) the sensor system of their mini-bar is stupid, what if I picked item up, looked them through and decided not to consume them... Need to check bill, not efficient
the service is so great......
Nice location. Good breakfast/
