Room clean and comfortable and quite. No restaurant facilities - closed offered sanwichesw or bar meals only, asume this is not the norm
Very very small rooms. No space for clothes etc.
Excellant efficient staff. Modern feel. Very good breakfast. Will definately be back. An outter facing room next time please but a minor point.
Great central location , room very comfortable with fab bathroom . Breakfast very good ,well presented & freshly cooked .On our first night of arrival we had a lovely meal in the resturant , food of high standard & again service very good . The only one negative would be the lack of ashtrays outside , as smokers we are happy to go outside but it would have been nice to have cig bins rather than the pavement .
the bed and the delgihtful room service person who delivered my meal. She was very helpful. I didn't like: 1. the 45-minute wait to check in even though I was the only person there; 2. the inedible omelette I ordered from room service and its inadequate replacement; 3. being unable to get breakfast in time to go to my conference because all the tables were full.
location, room cleanliness very little natural light in room. uncomfortable seats in bar
Good Location no
the lobby & the restaurant - friendly staff wifi service does not work everywhere - rooms are very small in relation to price - downstairs conference facilities technology: air co in the breakout rooms is either too hot or too cold, microphones either too loud or can't hear
comfortable bed; good WLAN Too expensive
Would not recommend this place. For a weekend getaway this place was quite the obstacle course to conquer with the staff not expressing any concern or compensation for our feedback. 1. We could feel the coils through the matters and the was unable to get a decent nights sleep. 2. The shower kept oscillating between cold and scalding hot every 10 seconds which made that experience dangerous and unpleasant. 3. The room was a squeeze. I hit my head on the bedside table in my sleep as we were given their tiniest room. How ever the bathroom was almost the same size of the room so maybe this was meant to be the disabled persons room. 4. The giant bathroom is installed with a window skylight which shines through the glass door of bathroom and lights up the room by 5 am.
Rooms are very small.
Architecture and Services are Excellent. Food is great. Staff is A+. Elevators need a tune up. Bathrooms are slippery.
We loved the look of the place and everyone was so professional and friendly. We had a wonderful Christmas brunch and had fun going in the spa pool. We had a drink in the bar. I'd highly recommend it. It's just beautiful there.
Bar was nice Room was small and underwhelming consider g how much we paid.
Room was clean and right next to the Russell square underground entrance. Room was small, wifi wasn't free and the room smelled, but in their defense we didn't ask to change rooms. Kind of pricy for a holiday inn.
Hassle free check in and out. Very convenient to where I was working in Gordon Square, Bloomsbury and blessed by a 24 hour car park adjacent to the hotel itself and with shops very close. The room was without half of its secondary glazing which meant that it was particularly noisy due to the proximity of nearby pubs late at night into early morning. Reception acknowledged this aspect on departure but failed to offer an explanation for the absence of part of the system.
Proximity to underground and centre of London .yet quiet. This was a shopping trip so convenient for Oxford St and Marrlebone Road. Considering how small the room was, it was quiote well equipped. Double bed was so small. Asked if there was a room with larger bed, but told they were all the same size. Hotel was full so no option to change to two singles. Not good for anyone over 5ft 10 inches.
The security arrangements were good - eg lift doesn't work to go to upper floors unless bedroom key card is inserted. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. I thought the bedrooms were rather small for a 4-star London hotel
The hotel is very well located, close to tube stations. the room is small and facilities require renewing. some broken (faucet, door handle etc.). price is very high and is not a decent return for the money
it was coveniently situated for Radisson Edwardian Hotel, which is where we needed to be that evening poor service in the bar, exorbitant charges for drinking water, spartan room and bathrom, noise in the morning from street and plumbing
Friendly, polite and helpful staff, clean facility. Good location. Noisy room location above delivery dock, construction noise one night until 11 pm. Extremely poor acoustics in restaurant (am acoustic specialist in N. America) very hard surfaces, floor, walls, ceiling and other multiple reflective surfaces make for most unpleasant experience resulting in avoiding restaurant second time.
Easy access of subway, restaurants&pubs and shopping center No fridge in the rooms so no possibility of drinking cold beverage
Excellent location Staff did not understand a small glass of wine and kept serving and charging for medium glasses
Great room and food None
The hotel provides a consistent level of frienliness, efficiency and comfort. it is well placed for shopping , sisgt seeing and business (city of London banks etc).
The Pullman St Pancras had nice, high-end finishes in the bathroom and the bedroom, as well as in the lobby. People have complained about the wifi, but we actually had a pretty good experience with it; we were able to make a call using their wifi. All in all, a pretty comfortable experience. This is in a pretty noisy part of London (Euston Rd), which means that there are a lot of pubs (which can get rowdy), cars honking horns, ambulance and police sirens, etc.; even though we were on the 12th floor, the noise from outside woke me up often during the night. Also, the bathroom door does not shut tightly; it leaves a gap between the leaves of the door, so any noises (etc.) from inside the bathroom are audible to your significant other in the rest of the room! Not particularly romantic! And the thermostat was difficult to program; quite a few times, it would show 22 degrees C and be programmed for 18, but would still put out warm air, which makes no sense.
Very handy for Eurostar Toweld old and hard. Shower door didn't fit well
Lo recomiendo 100%
hotel was a peaceful experience staff all very helpful especially the restaurant manager. I did leave behind some of my clothing and wanted to arrange these items be posted to my home address? 26 Glencoe, Whitburn West Lothian Scotland EH47 8AR Central location, cleanliness, up to date style & furniture.
The location of the hotel was fantastic and we had great views of the city from our room. We were given a room with disabled access which was fine. The only complaint I have about the 'wet room' is that the water did not drain away and the floor was a gigantic puddle and we had no way of getting the water out. Also, are 3 shower heads neccessary for one bathroom??
Modern clean smart rooms with all amenities in an excellent location close to St Pancras and Kings Cross stations plus friendly staff. Nothing to not like
Bed was amazingly comfortable with great sheets. Bathroom perfect, breakfast amazing. check out was a bit busy.
It is walking distance from the train station, great location. The staff is very helpful and very accommodating. The breakfast was the best I've had in Europe during my 3 month stay. The bathrooms are very modern and the whole hotel is very clean. The hotel is great, but the beds are a little firm. There was one lady at the front desk that was polite but cold. Other than that everything was great.
The location was ideal, transportation was near by. The staff was friendly The bed was hard!!
The location is central and the views from the top floors are stunning. There are many excellent restaurants nearby.
Proximity to stations
Staff was ready and willing to help at any time. Bed was very comfortable and room was spotless. Wonderful breakfast with many options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The room was really spacious and clean. The staff were very accommodating and kind. We had a wonderful stay.
Wonderful greeting upon arrival all staff were 100 per cent and very helpful everytime you went out you were wished a good day and again welcome back in the evening 1st class Nothing like I said 1st class food staff rooms
Regarding London price niveau I was surprised by the facilities and the infrastructure of the hotel
From entering we were welcomed by the gentleman behind the desk. We saw him throughout our stay and he was a perfect representative for your establishment. Our room was perfect for us, clean, well equiped, warm and welcoming. If I did have to critasize one thing it would be the dining room. It was quite cramped but really clean and well stocked.
The small kitchen area in the room was a plus factor and very useful for heating a small meal. The hotel is extremely close for Kings Cross and Eurostar. Hotel staff organised an early breakfast for me as I had an early start. Very small dining room. Settee located under the wall television so had to sit on the bed to watch the TV. There was no channel 4.
It was close to St. Pancras International; facilities were good for a city break; comfort and cleanliness of the rooms was very good; reception staff were very polite and helpful.
Close proximity to subway and at a good price
Great location re transport, laundrette, pubs/restaurants. Pleasant, helpful staff. Quiet street.
We only stayed one night but it was a very comfortable one. N/A
Able to get early breakfast which was very good
We was seen to with quick & promt service excelent check in All Good
Clean comfortable room in good location.
central location rooms are small and walls paperthin. The toilet in our room didn't work, although they fixed it quickly. Breakfast uninspired.
Value for money; cleanliness; quiet
Convenience to station for onward travel Dark room inbasement, v poor quality towels, few bathroom accessories, only liquid soap dispenser & poor toilet paper. Luggage holding facilities inadequate as anyone can ask for luggage room key - no check on your bags there - insecure
All staffs are nice!
near to unfergrounf station price vs quality
Late night front desk clerk went out of his way to assist me. My room was a bit cold so he brought me a small electric heater. My bed was comfortable and room was clean. They had a working elevator which was great since I had a lot of luggage. It would have been nice to have a bathtub instead of just a shower. Room was a bit on the small side but just right for a solo traveler.
Handy for mainline trains and underground so fairly central to get about the city. I had got a little chilly in the night but staff were very quick to respond when I mentioned it in the morning, and sent an engineer to check my radiator and an extra duvet.
Spacious room, clean, bright and spacious ensuite facilities The room was in the basement and had a rather musty atmosphere - but didn't feel damp
room was clean, bed linen fresh and so on, en-suite was spotless with an excellent shower! noise from room above, the floorboards were dreadful and creaked every time they walked around. It sounded like we had a family of elephants staying!
It was very close to the city, I could walk from oxford street which is great if you think of the crazy saturday afternoon traffic. It was basic but nice. It had everything you need for a weekend trip to London and the hotel staff was friendly. The breakfast was really basic but enough. Furthermore there was no warm water in the morning, both days on Saturday and on Sunday but in the evening it was hot. We just had to figure that out first but you can deal with it when you know it!
We asked for a quiet room and this was at the back of the hotel and we had no traffic noise or noise from other guests so a peaceful night's sleep. The bedding was clean and the bathroom though tiny was very clean - including the grouting!! The T.V. in the room looked new (though cheap) and had not been tuned in so we did not have this facility. The bathroom door didn't glide properly so was a little bit embarrassing when using the toilet!! The carpet looked very "iffy" it was more old and tired than dirty - I'm glad I took flip flops, and the paintwork was very bad. However, you get what you pay for and we were looking for a cheap hotel and this was certainly that.
Location its on a main road without double glazing.
As an elderly person I was given a ground floor room without having to make a special request. There was also a good lift to the basement for breakfast. Bathroom sink had a plug that needed repair. It was impossible to pull it out once it was stuck in; the lever was broken. Also the bathroom door needed oiling; it squeaked horribly!
Our packets in the packets room - after checking out - for our riske is not accepteble. A hotel has to have a public toilette. The atmosphare in the corridore was a bit smelly.
Super Bare bones room.
We were not there very long but there was a smooth procedure at check-in. The Breakfast was simple but adequate and the staff pleasant. Although the rooms are small the bed was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was good but would have benefitted from a larger handbasin although I am not sure that there was any spare space.
breakfast food was limited, fruit and cheese would have improved the selection
Clean room, comfortable beds, friendly staff, non-paying luggage room (very important). Awful shower. Two lights malfunctioned. One we couldn't switch off (we had to take the bulb out). The light over the basin didn't work. We mentioned these on the Saturday morning but nothing had changed when we left on the Sunday.
For the price, its location is great (5 minute walk to Kings cross station), room is small yet clean, wireless is reliable, provided breakfast (continental) was fine. Everything worked. Staff were very helpful. Getting lights fixed (bulb blown or string switch undone) seemed very difficult. If cleaner couldn't do it, then it didn't seem to get done. Street is a bit noisy although not too bad and it is a city location so some traffic noise is inevitable..
Location, recently refurnished, new bathroom. Traffic noise from street. Unguarded luggage room.
Loved the layout of room, cleanliness, free internet, great location, comfy queen bed and great shower Breakfast was terrible - we went down and they had run out of orange juice and cereal - not very good value for money - altho there are lots of other options around
Excellent location for train travel to rest of contry and the Chunnel. Directly across the street to St Pancras station. Room was very clean and very large by Eurropean standards. Friendly staff. Located on edge of a somewhat run down area, though with the International train station there, the area should continue to improve. Never felt unsafe when out in the area.
Helpful staff; accessible to eurostar
The staff was very helpful: we called for directions & they got us there quickly. The room was clean, relaxing, comfortable, generous in size, and quiet despite being on a busy street. The only minus was in the food service, but they did not charge us for our meal. I also saw that they are working on the restaurant area, so I expect they will have everything back in order shortly.
staff and dining were great. we stayed in an apt. that was roomy and clean.
Best facilities in the room:1. free wifi. 2. coffee & tea maker took me a long time to find the on/off switch for the lights in the wardrobe
All good. Not long enough stay. The sockets tripped out they were fixed within minuets.
Hotel staff very helpfull. Room clean and tidy everything in place that you require.Would use again.
Internet no charge, excellent staff, v. comfortable room, clean spacious bathroom & on top of all that, excellent coffee machine in room!
Good location for transport links; friendly and helpful staff; well- equipped rooms and even standard rooms have baths and showers. The food (dinner) in the restaurant is excellent. Coffee maker far too fiddly and despite hotel now providing instructions, it still floods the wardrobe! Tv also over-complex, although good when you get to grips with it. Glass panel for shower over bath is fixed, making it impossible to reach taps etc without getting in the bath.
We had a superb meal in the restaurant. Large comfortable bedroom with rollaway bed provided.
The staff were helpful and courteous. I had just had the card with the pin number stolen and they were very helpful about how I should pay. it is a small thing but I had to leave by 6.30 to catch my train but breakfast was not available til quite a long time after that.
Friendly staff who aimed to help. Didn't quite yet know the neighborhood. They need a list of locations, like the Waterstone's on Gower, a decent Indian restaurant nearby, etc. No suggestion of help taking suitcases up three flights. My aching back!
First class well appointed hotel will use again
Overall cleanliness. Friendly, very helpful, hard-working staff. Breakfast in with price. Air con. None!
Shower tube is too short and fixed under ceiling, flexible hose is better. No lift.
Very friendly staff. No lifts. 3rd floor with heavy luggage is not the easiest thing to accomplish.
Great breakfast and friendly service. Newly decorated and very clean. Highly recommend.
Steep access to third floor
Central location, friendly staff and clean room.
The hotel is right across from King's Cross train and tube station, so it was a 20-30 minute or less tube ride to all of the sights. Buses were right outside too. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. There are places closeby to eat, even late at night (5 guys is across the road along with some Indian restaurants). There was a huge variety in the guests staying there, from middle aged couples, so seniors to young families. It seemed like I was the only solo traveler there at that time. There was a dank smell in my room that I couldn't get rid of. I don't recommend it for folks with mobility problems because there are steps everywhere. It it on a busy street so if you need silence to sleep this isn't the place. I live in New York City so it didn't bother me, but I could see how it may bother others.
New bathroom was nice. I sorted the rain shower out as it was spraying everywhere, but with a quick wipe of the nozzles, perfection. Shouldn't be the guest's job though should it?! No electricity at night. Now this may have been due to a power cut, which I don't blame the hotel for, but I walked through the darkness past two people at reception who didn't even tell me - oh, by the way, the electrics are out. Would have thought it was a common courtesy. Also, the noise from upstairs was like a marching band, and could hear the talking and general noise from room across hallway, so soundproofing non-existent. It is also over the tube lines, so can hear them tumbling every few minutes.
Large and well-appointed room for central London at this price level. a bit different from normal hotels. The great hall in the college is an interesting and unusual location for breakfast. None
Clean room, quiet
Staff were very welcoming and efficient, my room was clean, comfortable and warm! It was a nice experience having lunch in the college hall - made me feel like a student again. Great location - quiet, but central with easy access to centre by foot or by tube. None.
Staff were great, good location clean. Lack of restaurant/bar. My room was a pied a terre so again a bit odd but whatever People should just be aware of it.
Staff was friendly. Bathrooms nice. It is a converted college alumni dorm with very small rooms and little comfort. Not appropriate for almost 300 GBP.
-Modern, minimalist room interior -central location -excellent breakfasts at cafeteria -proximity to underground -Shower was a little small
Large room, clean, quiet with a comfortable bed. Good quality furnishings and nice shower room. Some people make not like the fact that reception, the room and the restaurant are in 3 different buildings.
Cosy room. Lovely view. Helpful, friendly front room staff. A little cramped. Needed extra hooks for hanging. No safe in rooms. Lots of tight stairs to walk up to get to room.
Area very quiet close to a park. Price ok and they have few very modern rooms as well. Close to the center. The breakfast(hall) in the college to cold and not so cosy
nice atmosphere, quiet, well situated
Very central to shops, theatres and restuarants. Included breakfast was great! None
Good location - quiet area and close to underground station - excellent breakfast in pleasant dining room and friendly staff. No bad points - room was at top of stairs and a little on the hot side but this only a minor personal preference.
Location Noise from the street and other rooms.
lovely back garden for smoking. breakfast is poor..
It is so close to kings cross and London st pancreas. Clean. Small selection for breakfast. The bathroom wasn't as I expected. The shower was very basic and the decor wasn't generally very good, however was quite clean. Bed were glorified camp beds, but ok for 1-2 nights.
Very easy access to buses/Underground/trains at Kings Cross/St. Pancras. Quite good value for money considering its location. Breakfast was rather chaotic. Probably not enough staff on duty - too many tables were uncleared; couldn't find any staff to offer me tea/coffee or toast, so I had to make do with only a small bowl of tinned fruit and some orange juice in the time I had available.
Good clean, but small room, with great access to Kings Cross
The room was clean, shared bathroom also kept well clean. There was also a kettel in my room with a sink, tea and coffee, so if I wanted I could make a hot drink in my room for free. I also liked the fact that breakfast was included. I loved the location because I had to catch the Euro Star early next morning, for the price, location and free breakfast I would recommend it to anyone useing it as a stop by. Like other people had said, the coffee is undrinkable. When I read those reviews I thought "oh it cant be that bad." Well it is, dont touch it unless you want to see how bad it really is.
Location, competetive value for money They do not have any means of internal communication. When one of the guests due to the grade of spirit in blood stood nocking to the door of my room at 3 o'clock in the night, I had no chance of calling the staff for help. I do not even want to imagine what could it be if the case would be more serious.
Very close and easy transportation to Central London
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was nice. Location good.
Easy access to the underground The rooms were a tad on the small side!!!!!!!!
The location was excellent, being so close to the underground and main line stations. The lack of toiletries, e.g soap and shower gel etc
value for money beds could be more comfotable
Absolutely nothing. The room was dirty, cramped. The bed was hardly a double bed and most uncomfortable Please see above. Most disappointing hotel. The hotel has met the criteria of providing shower, wash basin was in bedroom, toilet/shower room cramped. Could not fit suitcases through door! Staff apart from checkin were not very friendly. We did not bother having breakfast. Not suitable room for couple.
good breakfast and warm during a cold spell in the weather breakfast times of 7-9 at the weekend
Excellent Locatiom - not perfect - but clean and comfortable - if you want a bigger room, lifts etc then pay 3 times the price.
Close to Kingscross, cosy room and polite staff No bathroom heating.
Cosr & convenience No fitted central heating in room and none at all in bathroom.
The breakfast was cold (instead of having a warm cooked breakfast). The room smelt of sick, the TV remote control was broken and the window would not stay open (i wanted some fresh air).
Closeness to Kings Cross underground, help yourself full English Breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Best London budget hotel we've stayed in No, although our sash window would not stay open very wide but we proped it open with a trainer shoe until we went out so no problem.
