Please write at least 15 words Most of all I liked the location and the size of the room I did not like the entrance,a lot of walking to the room and too crowded
It was near Oxford street Very old furniture small size bathrooms no complimentary accessories
Location, and the feeling of being home away from home as we have been staying at Thistle Marble Arch once a year for the past four years.
Convenient to the West End and very helpful staff. Very close to easy transport links.
Much more impressive than we expected at the price for such a good location in London.
Location. Friendliness of staff. Concierage service. Ceiling low. Breakfast a bit expensive.
Very central location. Close to tube station and Oxford street. Less than 10 pounds for cab to Paddington station. Room recently renovated. Nespresso in the room. Lots of storage (drawers, closet space). Very professional staff. Free printing so we could checkin for our departure flight. Comfortable bed and pillows. Renovations still ongoing. Construction was happening in the room next to us during the day on a weekday. No construction on weekends and it started at a reasonable hour on weekdays. Few amenities in hotel, but we weren't looking to use them. My wife didn't sleep as well as she needs a contour pillow and one wasn't available.
Location Waited a long long time to get an elevator, we tried to use the stairs but it was alarmed at level 1. Why?
The queue when checking in was the biggest ever experienced at a hotel! Also the price charged for phonecalls is very expensive!
very friendly staff, great bar and good food
Excellent location, nice hotel, but not top rate. Room service breakfast was a bit poor considering price, small details missing for a hi calibre place.
Nice room, excellent service, quality casino.
Excellent staff. Very helpful concierge. A hopping, "in" place.
Location. deluxe room spacious and well appointed. Too noisy. impossible to sleep well.

Well we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at the Mayfair and the staff could do more for us. We come back to our room to find a complimentary bottle of bubbly and chocolates, such a great supprize for both myself and the wife. Would we stay again definitely 100%.
Attention and concern of staff is excellent, especially Anna breakfast hostess in Amba room. Serving staff uneven although Nadia v nice and accommodating too. Hotel overwhelmed by the world travel convention, on all fronts that kind of capacity is hard for the whole 'factory' that is the hotel to function. Eelevators slow, rooms seem tired, and what seemed appropriate three years ago now seems tired and yes, a little rundown.
The Hotel was well located and the rooms were modern with all amenities.
Center location Rooms must be ready much before 2 pm.
the position of the hotel and not much else not much other than some of the staff. Having stayed at the Helmsley Park Lane I just could not compare the two establishments,
I loved the kingsize bed
The hotel is very beautiful, confortable and the staff very nice and helpful. The location is perfect for a stay in London, long or short. Very, very clean!
excellent service from all staff, good lively bar, and good rooms. excellent central ocation.
Everything. Its the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in.
Was a very good stay and the room was perfect. The location is perfect and the lcd tv in the room is amazing Everytime i tried calling the concierge they never picked up
The Langham is an old fashioned 5 Star Hotel. In other words it deserves every one of the stars. Maybe it costs a bit more, but nothing is too much trouble and the staff are that great blend of friendliness and efficiency with not a hint of snobbery, which of course is a true sign of class. A great location and a real feel of opulence.
Of course as always staff courtesy and the overall service is the main reason for us to stay at this hotel, despite the unpleasant experiences we had this "time only" with some of the reception staff upon our arrival which I will mention in the other Box. We are a regular customers and we know the level of services of this hotel however, we were totally shocked by the low service offered by your Supervisor at reception area Mr Sabestaian which was way below expectation. If he continues there he will certainly cause more damages to hotel reputation, Hotel mgt should consider giving him more lessons on customer service. Ms Suzana was of the same Category!. The rest of staff at the reception and other places were absoloutely all stars.
the whole thing hotel was lovely the rooms staff the decor everything was nice choice of food and drink was great cocktails were amazing we wil def be looking to stay again in near future. was our friends birhday and they went out of there way and made occassion special cant wait to visit again
The location and the high standard
The hotel is located close to restaurants, shops and is a short walking distance from excellent theatres. The hotel staff and facilities lived up to a five star experience you expect from the Langham reputation.
Very luxurious, extremely friendly staff and a probably the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. We were there for our wedding night and the hotel very kindly upgraded us to an executive suite. The fact the hotel manager had hand-written a (fairly lengthy) congratulations card, and left us some 'congratulations' sweets and cakes was also a very thoughtful touch. Would highly recommend for a treat or anyone looking for a bit of luxury in London.
Location for theatre, shops and what we required was spot on. The bar and lounge area were very acceptable with the breakfast at that staff excellent Service for light refreshments, post theatre/late evening . Hassle when booking in for breakfasst
Location was perfect Inconsistency and knowledge of staff were problems.I Have a serious complaint about the hotel.I Never received a receipt. As such I never was able to receive a deailed bill.it is all very well for booking.com to contact the hotel..HOW ??? what address???
I liked it very much and the brekfast was very good no I dont think so
Excellent location - close to Oxford Street and Marble Arch. Rooms and ensuite are a generous size. Very comfortable lounge and dining areas.
The operating fireplace gives a warm aspect to the lobby. The fact that they charged us £3 each for three calls to an 0800 number, total £9.00. This conflicts totally with the free WIFI offer and while £1 might be acceptable for a connection £3 is exorbitant. It's only a small thing but it is very annoying.
The location is superb and reception staff was friendly and helpful.
Location for shopping in Oxford St. Overpriced mini bar
Ease and efficiency
location to oxford street and central london rooms way too small
Very central, have all the facilities. Seemed very quiet, no atmosphere in the hotel.
Excellent location, great room.
Very Confortable No plug for the basin in the bathroom. One was provided for the second night but did not fit the sink. Like many hotels, it is the lack of attention to small details such as this that can spoil the whole impression of the hotel chain.
Loved the hotel. Great location. On previous visits we found the hotel uncomfortably warm but this time it was very welcome!
I have been to couple of hotels in London and this turned out to be the best out of them, but I have been to hotels at other parts of the world where for the same money I have got much much more luxuries than what they have in this hotel. This seems to be very common in the hotels in London that the staff are not welcoming or behave quite strange and this hotel was no different than the other ones.
room size was good..............the staff were helpful and the serivce in general is near outstanding the hotel does not allow any late check out without charges................this somehow disturbed my stay and i had to pay extra because of my late check out due to flight timing.
very elegant decoration, helpfull staff, very central location no
The room was spacious and quiet. The location is excellent. Some of the furniture was a little poor and the TV was old with below average reception.
An excellent central location. Most staff very helpful, especially concierge. One room wasn't ready well after 2pm. They did find another room for us though.
Proximity to key places i needed to get to. i could walk everywhere. The only minor issue was that the room door like most hotel rooms face onto a long corridor. The room doors were pretty fierce and noisy when they shut so people coming and going often early in the morning or late at night was a distraction. Also on the Monday the floor we were on was having building works done so that was reeally noisy.
Good central location to buses, dining, tourist attractions.
Firstly, the room we initially had, 553, was very small and cold. The first night the heater rattled constantly and wasn't functioning. The following morning, we contacted the Guest Relations manager, Barbara. She first sent up a maintenance man, who checked it and said 'That's as good as it gets. He was not understanding of the situation, but Barbara knew the heater was faulty and changed us to room 342. This room was much brighter. However, it was tiny, and we couldn't have breakfast in the room , as there was only one table, with no room for a 2nd tray. The very attentive waiter told me the hotel has no room service trolleys. Shameful. When we paid our bill, the receptionist took £150 off the total bill.. A very poor experience all round
Beautifully decorated room, amazing fitness facility, lovely staff None
Friendly staff. Warm face towels on arrival at receiption was a nice touch. Modern, clean, everything in working order. Expensive breakfast
The room was comfortable, the hotel facilities were good,in all we liked everything about the place No complaints
Clean, modern design and very nicely furnished room Front desk understaffed so can be hard to get anyone to solve a problem (eg our heating was too high and phone just rang and rang at 2am when I called for help). Didn't get much sleep that night.
The pool, jacuzzi and sauna area was spot on. The bar was very modern with a relaxed atmosphere serving all the usual drinks and good range of cocktails. Breakfast was top, but did cost almost £20. Perfect location for a weekend in London with most places we visited being within 20 minutes whether by tube, foot or rikshaw. The rooms, depite being very modern and well presented, are a bit on the small side. Also, a cup of tea cost £9!!!
It was very comfortable, good bed, very good breakfast buffet and friendly staff. I would have preferred a bath tub instead of a shower :)
We loved the fact that the staff wanted to please and were interested in our stay, it made it an even more memorable experience.
Quality of service and location
Perfect location Probably it's time to invest in a new remote controls of the TV sets!
very central and comfortable...easy to reach public transport...rooms clean and comfy though a bit too small breakfast was expensive and pay TV did not work
I stay in this hotel at 3 time, but at that time my room was auful - all was broken and was very uncomfortable.
The staff are very nice & helpful. The steps infront of the enterance gate which makes it a bit difficult for baby strollers.
close from shops and resturants I came early in the morning and there was no rooms available! they let me wait for more than one hour although I came from long distance trip! didnt give late check out!
the most we like was the location in the centre the most accept the room and the lobby where very bad.chairs in the breakfast room was onacceptebel.the bar on the roof was very , very bad, while the price is a hilton price. no we nevr schould go back.we always are going to hilton in the world but this was the most bad hilton we ever saw.
Great location Hallway is dirty, room does not have tea/coffee maker, however when we asked they did bring us.
My stay was for just one night and for business use, but the 2 key factors for me were location and cleanliness. The checkout was poorly staffed.
A great central location, yet quiet. Close to Oxford Street, convenient for shopping. Near tube station and city attractions/parks. Hotel staff not helpfull (We asked for info how to get to Luton airport and they sent us to the wrong train station. We almost missed our flight). Twin room was small for two people, internet connection and pay TV not working. Rather expensive (201 pounds/night excl. breakfast). Not really a five star hotel.
Unfriendly personal; worn out hotel and a shame for the hilton group. Compared to the langham hilton where I stayed 2 nights before. This hotel is totally out of wack in price quality; Their web site is misleading.
Very fashionable feel to the hotel , Bar was enjoyable , sleighbed lovely. Food was good at breakfast. Maybe toilet area. Lacks privacy
I like the desing and the location
Stylishly minimalist, great shower, cool bar Dinner trolley not cleared
The lifts. The service. The availability of the garage. The conviviality of the bar areas (both the open & cosy bars). The dedication of your cleaning staff. The laundry service. The proportions. The corridor lighting. And, above all, the location. The lack of Internet access (the business centre was occasionally out of action). The limitations of the room service menu for vegetarians. The limited number of T.V. entertainment channels - without in-house films The lack of a bath. No fresh air. The painting on the ceiling of my room.
Wonderful design interiors. The food in the Malaysian restaurant was amazing and the cocktails at The Long Bar were innovative and delicious - if very pricey at £11 a shot Some of the towels in the room were not 100% clean
General location was very good.Cleanliness was good No bar to have a drink with children over 18 had to be 21.Bar staff rude and ignorant. However, Bar manager was very considerate.Very trendy which was nice but thats where it ends i'm afraid. Would not book again.
unique design bed was uncomfortable
The bar, this was very busy and fun place to be
Our stay at The Sanderson was perfect from start to finish. I called ahead to let them know that we were coming to stay for my boyfriend's birthday. From upgrading us to a huge, gorgeous room to delivering balloons, flowers, candles, and birthday treats, they truly went above and beyond to make it an amazing weekend. We can't wait for our next visit!
The lobby, spa and bar are brilliantly designed. Most parts of the hotel are chic and the overall atmosphere is very charming. The rooms are impractically designed. No provision made to accomodate suitcases even. Too much insistence on style and little attention to comfort. Great to hang out at all parts of the hotel except your room where everything seems like a mess since there are no practical provisions made. Very little storage so all the stuff just lies around the floor; also not very child friendly.
The location was great. Room beautiful but things like complimentry water in the rooms, toilet paper too much of a production. Restaurant staff and front door/desk/concierge great. Gym staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Great gym tho. See above.
Efficient front desk, well equipped room No facilities for breakfast in hotel apart from room service
I liked the staff qualifications, readiness to help. The restaurant is great
kind stuff, valued price, love everything in Marriot not yet
I liked the beautiful room and comfortable beds - pillows to die for! The breakfast in the morning at Maze Grill was the absolutely lovely. The staff were all very friendly and polite.
We stay at the Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square frequently, both for leisure and business. We find it's location is unbeatable. The staff are friendly and efficient.
Friendly personnel at reception quite efficient. Very noisy rooms. I had to request to change room due to refurbisment works but still the noise was unacceptably high.personnel at cafe lounge were not proffesionally trained/unacceptable behaviour
it was perfect in disign. just when you walk in room was some noise.
Excellent room and location None
The open fire when we arrived in the lobby, the relaxed atmosphere, the decor which was traditional, but comfortable.
Near oxford street No health club
The reception area was very nice and the fascade of the hotel was lovely. My room was very small single near the lift - was clean but did not have an opportunity to avail of any other services. I had to ring looking for directions late in evening and person involved could not really help me even though I was on a street very close to the hotel
the hotel was centrally located. Comfortable and small enough to feel cosy. Rooms were quiet with fairly good facilities. Staff were pleasant bur not friendly. Room decor was tired, curtains hanging badly, bathroom fittings, wallpaper and bedspreads dated. Bar prices were extortionate. I paid £9.95 for 24 hours wifi connection but the signal was so weak all over the hotel,I couldn't use it. When I complained, the reception staff asked me what I wanted them to do about it, rather than just automatically refunding me as a gesture of goodwill.
exelant location, hotel staff are friendly and the room is very clean
relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. Great central position.
Excellent room and very nice breakfast Very expensive drinks
Staff, good clean bathroom,.hotel has good location for W End shops etc and not too difficult to park on the street in the area. Uncomfortably hot room, no tea / coffee making facilities in room, decor a bit dated but comfortable, room quite small but thats the norm. I guess we got one of the less desirable rooms having paid a last minute rate...
Its location. Not enough pillows.
Staff, especially the porters, who always treat guests personally and politely. Also the location is perfect, and the facilities charming. My room was over the entrance and thius was a bit noisy at times. There was also noise from an adjacent room. I realise this does happen. It is not a complaint.
Staff were nice and entrance hall pretty No tea or coffee making facilities in a rather run down room
The hotel look and location are great - like a family run hotel but right in the centre of London. The room was way too hot and a little dark.
Traditionally polite and helpful staff working in traditional surroundings. Excellent breakfast. (No other meals taken) Bathroom rather cramped. Bath too narrow at base making showering difficult.
Personal quaintness in the heart of London which is much preferred above chain hotels. Well kept and cleaned rooms, very tastfully decorated. Room services menus were not in the room, whilst there was extensive wine lists which did not interest - had to phone to establish what was available to the annoyance of the staff on the other end of the phone. Overall stay was excellent though, would definitely stay again.
breakfast was good and the bar staff too this is not a complaint bcause I can live wiithout it,but, the television is a monster and doesn't work. what we need is something to watch.
Excellent service and Staff polite and helpful at all times.Rooms very comfortable. Infact nothing could be faulted in this hotel
Decor & atmosphere. Comfort. Breakfast. Temperature control (lack of)
Proximity to Oxford Street. Staff support is excellent. None
location , security old furneture,
Location and practical layout of the studio suite, wireless internet was free and good quality. The Manager was very courteous and very prompt and gave a lot of attention to making you comfortable in the apartment. Detailed instructions for contacting the manager should be sent to the customer at the tome of booking as well as posted at the entrance, as these apartments are in a secured facility.
Nice location, good beds, enough room. needs some (more) redecoration
Nice location, close to oxford street and baker street
Location, convenience, privacy. Staff were helpful and very polite. Clean and well equipped. No
We were left alone by the staff, but all queries were answered immediatly. They stored our luggage before Check-in so that we could explore. Tesco's is right next door and Oxford street, Madame Tusaude's and many pubs/resteraunts are all within a 5-10min walk. We were charged twice for our accomodation. I paid in full when we arrived but was chared also on checkout. Pretty sure its just a computer glitch but it can be costly for people with exchange rates to consider. I have only just discovered this error and have emailed the hotel - I'm hoping the situation can be rectified asap...
Location was very good. The roomwas small but adequate The bathroom was very tight and no extractor fan so very steemed up after a shower.Parking in this area is very expensive and would have appreciated being told beforehand when I phoned the hotel for advice.
the room and service were pleaseing
location room service was not good, room was still dirty they just change the bed covers
Use of tv and DVD - too complicated
The room was just what was needed, not overly luxurious but not plain either. Friendly and helpful staff, good location, Tesco Express next door. A bit of a walk to the tube, busses closer. None
Excellent location, nice staff on reception Rooms were shabby and need to be renovated
Polite staff, good breakfast Overpriced
The central location is ideal for a short city break in London. The hotel is really more of a tourist place than one suitable for business use. It is very overpriced for the quality of the facilities.
Location there is no refrigerator in the room
It was conveniently located for shopping and other things that would be wanted in the centre of London. The rooms appeared tired looking and too small.
The location was what drew us to this hotel, it is within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, theatres and sightseeing. We encountered some problems with a miscommunication over the booking when checking in, the staff who helped sort this out (to our satisfaction) did so in a very cheerful, friendly and professional manner.
Excellent location for West End Shopping Downside was that booking did not include breakfast in the price but was available to purchase separately, however, felt breakfast was quite expensive compared with local cafes/etc
I do not like it al all. The worst hotel I 've even been.
people staff the design of the room, poor, sad and not in good condition.
good location, good breakfast not very accommodating in terms of early check-in (we arrived only an hour before designated time). Decor was a little dated. We would have liked to leave our luggage for a couple of hours to do some shopping but we finally had to give up waiting for the concierge.
The hotel staff was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and helpful- from the concierge to the housekeeping staff. The proximity of the hotel to Oxford Street made it very convenient tor us to go around. One of the rooms was a bit cramped (we booked 3 rooms) and one didn't have a ref. However, the proximity of the hotel to Oxford Street made up for all these inconveniences.
Modern, Contemporary surroundings. Pleasant atmosphere, staff were helpful and friendly but not too intrusive Just did not have enough time to enjoy the hotel and its facilities. Will book again for a longer stay
I love the location the design and decor and the staff are very willing and very friendly. The rooms have every comfort and are spotlessly clean nothing
its veru close to oxford street 5 mintues away walking..the stuff are very helpfull and friendly ...i like small hotels
Staff were very polite and helpful, made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived,Room was kept very clean just thought the Drinks was a bit expensive
Location There's nothing to complain about but it actually would be very nice to have a coffee/tea facility in the room
The lobby, bar and restaurant staff were very attentive and personable room small
Thank you for the super friendly staff. You really made my stay enjoyable. The location is fantastic as the Bond Street tube station and Oxford street are a stone cast away from the hotel. Great place!
Good clean rooms, well furnished. Staff very helpful, especially the Porters who kept running into the rain to hail taxis! Small point, whilst there was a mini bar, there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. This would have been nice, but did not spoil our stay.
Location of the hotel was of great importance and the cleanliness as well. Concierge had good knowledge and were very helpful. Internet was over priced when you need to be connected in the room and on the contrary you can find it free of charge in the Lobby.Breakfast was over priced for what was offered in the so called buffet and same for the english brekfast plate. Improvement to extend more choice is to be considered.
the hotel was a little bit special and everything was very well done. the location for oxford street, and picadilly was excellent and within walking distance for convent garden. could have done with teaa making facilities in the room having said that we ordered tea for two via room service which was much nicer than a tea bag in a cup! but expensive.
Service They put a service charge on everything.... even in the bar
Breakfast is amazing
Perfect location, helpful and qualified staff. Rooms smaller than expected.
central and comfortable
I have stayed there on a few occaisions and have always had excellent service and been made to feel like a valued person
The location of the hotel is unique!!! The room was spacious but the bathroom small and old style.
although i had to move rooms twice because of a tv/internet that didn't work, the staff was very open to helping me get a comfortable room.
Location is exellent. The room was extremely small and outdated. I stayed in the hotel many times before and always made the bookings directly with the hotel, the rooms I received were much better. I left the hotel under the impression that I've received a bad room because of my booking through booking.com. Perhaps the rate was good but "there is no free lunch".
Location Prefer seperate shower
