6.0 Good
Pros: The hotel is conveniently located to shopping and restaurants in town.
Cons: The hotel was in the process of being reroofed. We woke up Sunday morning to a front-end loader dumping shingles into a dumpster located outside our room window. I wish hotels would state if they are under construction. It would affect my decision to stay

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing!!! Lots of extras at this hotel and the hot breakfast was an added treat.

Pros: Loved the location, the value, the cleanliness. Will definitely stay there again.
Cons: The bed we had was very high and needed steps to get into it. The TV is in a cabinet and we couldn't view comfortably while in bed because of the height. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: The home is in a great location for all things Ludington has to offer. This home is a 1800’s Victorian home which is what we look for when visiting B&B’s throughout the state. We had our own wood fireplace in our room which we love. Brandi is a great host and her cooking is top notch!
Cons: The bed in our room is falling apart and the plexiglass windows were a little noisy. The house has things that need repaired but that is to be expected with an 1800’s 5,000 sf home.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice OLD home, good location, great breakfast, super staff
Cons: Low to the floor toilet
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There is a chalkboard in entryway that had all the information we needed just in case the owner was not on site. Very helpful!! But our host Lars was their to greet us. Our room was wonderful with 2 high back reading chairs and a claw foot bathtub and a comfortable bed!Beautiful sitting area with working fireplace. You better be hungry at breakfast because Lars serves up a hardy homemade one! We definitely will stay again!!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: We stayed there with friends during Spring Break. Staff members were friendly, breakfast was big and tasted good. We didn't sleep well, but we usually don't when we stay somewhere. If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Ludington, I would recommend this.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved it. The hosts, the food, the ambiance-everything. Our rooms were perfect and the staff could not of been nicer. We will be back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful historical house, charmingly renovated. The innkeeper was cordial, very friendly and helpful. Upon my late arrival, I was escorted to my room. Nice! Chocolate kisses on top of all the glasses, clean room, comfortable. WiFi available as well as a DVD player and cable TV. Excellent breakfast. I was up early to catch the Badger ferry back to WI, so I didn't expect a full buffet, but the innkeeper had everything there for me including a quiche, baked oatmeal, muffins, bacon, brewed coffee, K-cup coffee, toast. It was scrumptious! So glad to have a full breakfast before heading out again. Note that there were dairy-free and gluten-free options available for breakfast. Nice touch! Also included was a lovely brunch bag for my trip on the ferry; hard boiled eggs, salt & pepper, yogurt, muffins, and apples. I will definitely stay here again when passing through Ludington. Highly recommended!
Cons: I didn't care for the loud window air-conditioning unit, but I understand that that's the only way that they could provide AC to the rooms. It was a bit noisy for me when trying to sleep, but the noise was preferred to not having the AC and being uncomfortably hot and sticky.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great!! Loved the fire place for coffee in the morning. Staff great also.
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable. Mattress Needs an update.. that's all.

Pros: We stayed at the motel while we hunted in the area. The motel was modest accommodations for a couple of guys hunting. The water was hot. The television was good. We were out the door hours before breakfast, so we can't comment of that aspect of the facility.
Cons: Our big concern was that the door lock would not lock while we were away. The desk clerk said that he would try to fix the lock. For two days it went unlocked. We could of changed rooms, but we were out of the room from about 5:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. We just didn't keep anything of value in the room, and didn't bother to change rooms. It locked from the inside, so we were fine at night.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, cleanliness of room was very good. Beds were not comfortable.

Cons: The only negative for me and it’s such a minor thing, no mini fridge. I will always stay here when I’m in the area!

Cons: See above. Told owner and he said he would take care of it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: wonderful staff! Very clean! Very close to downtown. Large spacious room and bathroom.
Cons: Shower was a bit small. Price was a bit high but so were other rooms in the area.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was very nice outside landscaped very nice and well kept. The houskeepers were very nice. also the people in the office. Everyone just kinda just left you alone. Besides tghe creepy guy staying beside us. that was a little nerve racking.
Cons: That the pool closed at 10pm. For a heated outdoor pool should of been open longer. most people when there on vacation are just getting back from dinner at 9
5.0 Okay
Pros: Paid three times as much for this room because it was New Year's Eve, but at its normal going rate it would be a worth it. Heat worked, bed clean and it has a distinct 1960's "Roadway Inn" flavor. So, it was nice and would be a stop if I was going for recreating a childhood memory (even has a little gazebo outside).
Cons: When I first arrived, I could pick up a stale smell and the tiny garbage under the sink was not emptied.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast choices were quite limited, as noted

Overview Reviews
Newly sanded floors. New windows. Downstairs baths and kitchen were remodeled in 2012. Now for the story: My house was built in 1930, clad with cedar shake exterior and topped with a sloped roof in the English cottage style. The house is large with three entrances and is located in an upscale neighborhood near Stearns Beach (rated best beach in Michigan: USA Today; Outdoors Magazine.) You can pack your towels and walk there in five minutes. The same five-minute walk in other directions will take you downtown, to the harbor and play parks. You'll have a gathering area on a covered porch as well as in the yard with a fire pit, charcoal grill, picnic table, and chairs. The house is on a small dune rise. There are two parking spots on my garage apron and one at the motel office. I have a large corner lot where parking is allowed on the street for cars, boats, and trailers up to 22 feet in length. (There is a 6-unit motel on the property as well. If you wish to rent extra rooms for your guests, you can book them through me.) The interior of the house is very charming! The first floor is renovated with high ceilings, a bay window, French doors, and arches. The floor plan features a center hall, leading to three bedrooms, one with a sunroom. The master bedroom has a private bath. And there is a hall bath. All the ornate, original radiators remain. The second floor has a kitchen, bath, dining area and one bedroom with a queen bed. There are a double futon and two sturdy rollaway beds for sleeping. You can reach the second floor through an outside entrance and through an exit on the first floor. The first and second floor are included in the rental. The basement is not, nor is the garage. Thus laundry machines are not available. If needed, there is a modern laundry a mile away. Also we provide towels and change them mid-week for guests who stay seven days.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful rooms inclassic 50s/60s style. Double bed rooms are a full and a twin so sleeping four might be trouble unless you're really good friends (wink wink). Don't waste your money at a modern hotel. Go back in time to a place that is meticulously clean and scrumptiously quaint. The neon office sign has that classic hum. You can open windows for air or chill in the quiet AC. Just off the main road, traffic noise is kept to a minimum. Highly recommended. Worth every penny.
Cons: I didn't like that I may have stayed somewhere else.

Pros: Room was clean, modern, and met my expectations. The pool area has always been unique at this place.
Cons: I will preface my statement w the fact I have poor hearing in my right ear. That said, I could hear loud talking periodically from one room and then the next neighbor apparently loves to watch tv at a high volume bc I had the worse night sleep in a motel bc of those two things.

Pros: The room was a good size with lots of space to set luggage. We had plenty of towels and cups. There was also an abundance of outlets and charging stations.

Pros: People were friendly. Room was clean.

5.0 Okay
