the central location
Everything was excellent!
The room was pretty large and well furnished Maybe the fact that 2-3 waitresses , involved in the breakfast service , were not particularely motivated ( no smile ,...)
Location is excellent. The underground railway is right infront of the hotel. The staff of the hotel was very friendly. I lost my passport in Madrid and they were very kind to help me about that.
You should use the stairs for until second floor , then you walk across the corridor (long) to find the lifts.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Metro and bus terminal right out your door. The room was big, comfortable and clean. Garage parking was available I didn't mind a 30 minute commute to Plaza Sol but others might.
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, although my Spanish skills are poor. Location of hotel near centre of Madrid and access to public transportation.
Good facilities, practical location (metro, business area) and efficient hotel staff
Excellent service, clean and comfortable rooms
Location, very close to Station
Stayed during a weekend and I had an very pleasant suit for a an affordable price. The beds and linen are fantastic, and the living room comfortable with sofa and chairs. Nice and big bathroom. Speedy internet and a fantastic view from the panorama windows. Don´t have room service. No direct entrance with car. Have to walk 200 meters.
near metro and also renfe station, clean and comfortable no free wifi
Convenience for business meetings
The jacuzzi was nice. There were a lot of products in the bathroom. The receptionists were talking and kept us waiting. They didn't understand English very well. I asked to repair the shower twice which they didn't. The taxi driver was waiting for 10 minutes before the receptionist told us that he was there.
quality of hotel no tea / coffee making facilities in room
A decent hotel which you not write home about. Very small rooms. Low value for money
It was close to the Tube station and on a well connecting main road. The room was very clean and the range of toiletries very impressive. no free wifi and it was expensive for 24 hours
Location, across from subway station. Only one stop from Chamartin train station. A supermarket is very close to it. Liked the fast food restaurants on the subway station, very convenient for a quick breakfast or dinner.
Location Room standard was not on par with price
convenience to metro system quiet clean rooms great staff nothing
The view from my room, and the room service. The minibar wasn't filled up totally some times basically on first days...
Check in was easy. Web-site was easy. Internet access was good. Check out was efficient. Staff were friendly although language was an issue but we could communicate effectively anyway. Location was very noisy. Kids blowing up fireworks outside and partying in the street. Not the hotels fault but still made it hard to sleep. If any real criticism it would be that in comparison to the usual 5-star hotels this one was not the most pretty I've ever stayed in but for Europe it was more than adequate.
The hotel has a very good location. You just come out of the metro or train, and it's there. Only 3 stops from Bernabeu Stadion if you are interested in football. We expected more from a 4 star hotel, but for the price it was ok. It was not so clean. The room needed some vacumcleaning and fresh air.
Travel convenience. Located above a major train and metro hub. Early accessible. If on business not appropriate to receive clients. Rooms were very noisy between construction going on at the hotel and the rooms not being carpeted. Way too noisy
lovely friendly environment with easy access to any kind o transport especially metro, train 2 times we asked for wake up call at a certain time. 1st time we didn't receive a wake up call, 2nd time it was late 1/2 an hour.
The room was comfortable and always clean. A/C worked well. Nice shops right below hotel in public transportation center.
I needed a location near the Chamartin train station. I would only recommend this hotel if you need to be near the Chamartin train station. Aside from that, the hotel is far from the center, very basic, a bit shabby for the price and utterly impersonal.
Location right at the train and metro station. In 20 min you are in the center of town. The staff does not speak any other languets as Spanish not even the reception.
Central location and rate
The staff were more than willing to help with questions and provide extra service.
room was clean, breakfast huge, very good location in business quarter noise from street, noise from inside of the hotel (shower, toilets from other rooms), cleaner comming in the room at about 8 o'clock
Location to railway station No access directly from the street
The hotel was everything I expected it to be. Great service and confort and well as an excellent location
Excellent breakfast buffet
Spacious rooms and helpful staff. Convenient to Metro.
location needs a renovation
we liked the fact the hotel had a pool. It was really wasn't a pleasant stay as the staff were very rude, and made us feel very unconfortable. They did not appreciate that we could not speak spanish also it seemed.I have already emailed the full details of our experience in the hotel to customer service.
Food and service were excellent. Hotel staff were friendly and always willing to assist.
Breakfast The mini bar had personal things of the previous guest and was very dirty.
The price was reasonable for two bedrooms with connecting door - we are a family of four. 1) The hotel decided to turn-off the air conditioning on the second night because the temperature dropped in the outside. Still, the building was very hot and it was really unconfortable during the night. Could not make the staff understand this was unacceptable for a 5* hotel. 2) We had to pay for the whole stay when we arrived. 3) The hotel closed their main restaurant on the second day, despite the fact that there was a large conference going over in the hotel, so we had to wait 20 minutes for breakfast on the second day. 4) The check-out is not in the reception but in a weird cashier with glass in between you and the attendant 5) Wardrobe was covered with dust - something we noticed after recovering our cloths ... no more writing space
strategic location, near metro station
Breakfast - which was not included in the fare and, despite being expensive at 25€/person, was worthwhile for a Sunday morning. The room that we had (1051) was not proper of a 5* hotel, it feel quite standard 4*
They change my room to premier from standard but gave me without wifi called them 3 times then they forward call to technician and still wifi not working after that second day request them to change room the staff said my phone may be problem where as wifi was working in lobby And after she said now time us not good to change room and to let me come after 1 or 2 pm
Late at night there were large groups of teenagers drinking just outside the hotel (botellon). That happened every other day, no problem for us though.
the staff were very helpful and we were very pleased and happy with our stay
The hotel provides really good food. The laundry service was excellent. There was a misunderstanding about why the A/C didn't work and later one or two staff members made sarcastic references to the matter right in front of me, assuming that I didn't understand them speaking spanish. Well, I understood them and thought making the issue a personal one was very unprofessional.
comfortable, clean pretty far for the centre, the staff could be more kind
Only advantage is the location to the metro when you can figure out where you are. However, the metro closes at 1:30am and you are forced to take a taxi and they can't even find the place. The taxi ride from town is 20 Euros and the people are not friendly. Even the taxi cab drivers got lost three times. Not a good location to see Madrid and would never stay there again. Manager was rude and charged for calls that did not even connect. Their other hotels in the heart of Madrid were even lower in price and they would not move us. The restaurant next door is terrible and a lot of street people under the train station at night and did not feel safe.
its a very big and nice room and very clean.
The staff and the quality of the room were great. In addition, the view from my room (on the 11th floor) was fantastic.
I like hotel staff, all servises, including meal, are good. The room is comfortable, the bathroom include all things for hygiene, what I want.
The location of the hotel. It was closed to a metro station as well as a railroad station, making traveling around Madrid very easy.
steep steps at entrance to hotel
Excellent all round - I arrived very late and staff were helpful and kind. The room & bathroom were extremely clean and heating worked well.Very good value for money.
Being close to the metro station, and a 24 h supermarket, and mineral water The bathroom was smelly, Nobody took care about my complain for the broken radiator in the bathroom. Wireless Internet was terrible, even though I was at the 1st floor, and extremely slow when I was using wired internet. TV channels limited to 6 ones. Heater was not warming up the room enough.
Secure locker for personal, important stuff, lights and TV synchronized with door lock.
I left 2 football shirts in room 108 please return them to me. I am happy to pay postage
central location . good help and advice from staff food and drink overpriced compared with local restaurants
Breakfast was awful.
The Hotel was very clean and the staff were extremenly helpful.
Proximity to our son's apartment only 1km away, the prime reason for staying there. Advertised as being in the "Heart of Madrid", which is untrue. Too warm at night, no instructions for heating or air-con. Incorrect instructions for tv. and phone. Curtains not working properly, as in so many hotels. Just minor things, but needing attention.
easy transport to the centre of madrid, charming clean rooms rooms as on website, excellent staff
The shower was about the only thing I would say I enjoyed. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, Was a lot of noise from the main road all night even with window closed and shutter down. Room was very small for 2 people, it was lucky it was only 1 night and we did not have much luggage with us. Found staff to be rude and did not get a single smile, hello or thank you from any of the staff!!
location is great, close to center and easy to get out to airport. beds are small, rooms are small but you get what you pay for.
Super friendy and super helpful staff, and would stay there again if in Madrid.
Very very clean. Well situated. Good breakfast. Friendly Staff. Everything was as described in your site.
It was a clean, competent (small) hotel with modern fixtures. It felt and smelt relatively new, and everything was clean including the bathroom. It was very close to the Valdeacederas metro station and within easy walking distance of Plaza de la Castilla. It was also possible to walk to the Santiago Bernabeu stadium to view the UEFA Champions League Final. In addition, it was not in a very touristy part of Madrid, which meant that we could experience some local cervecerias alongside real madrilenos--a glimpse into the life of an everyday citizen, at very reasonable prices. Rooms were quiet and easy to sleep in. The staff were helpful and spoke functional English. The hotel was good value for money! I wish that Internet access was free and I wish it was wireless. (It is wired, and 6 EUR per 24 hours). After four days (I was able to extend the stay), the bed began to feel a little too soft, but overall it was a good experience.
noise: on main through street; wall-to-wall with gym (classes start at 5:30am)
