Beautifully equiped but extremely small room
The staff of the hotel was very kind and polite and the lokation of the hotel was more than perfect. To get parkingplace close to the hotel because of the narrow streets in the downtown was sometimes not easy but at the end allways successfull:-)
Freindly helpful staff. Comfortable bed with all usual facilities in room. Spotlessly clean. We were lucky to get the room with balcony. No tea or coffee making facilities in room (but I know this is normal in some countries). Room not very large.
The hotel was a well run and friendly family business. They were very helpful and kind when I injured my foot and needed extra support. Having hurt my foot I would have appreciated a lift to my second floor room, but it's a small hotel and I don't know where they could have put one.
A well-located and comfortable hotel. It would have been useful to know the parking arrangements before our arrival.
Great location, friendly staff.
The shutters, the shower for croatia was nice and big the bathroom amenties The street noise is very loud
Kind personel, the hotel is placed really nice, good restaurent, free parking near hotel
Hotel Trogir was a nice hotel. Great location. Clean and comfortable room. Not very big, but okey for just a couple of days. The price was okey. Okey breakfast included. Only downside was the personal. They knew very little about Trogir and actually gave us wrong information about ferry times. They also did not seem familiar with booking.com and payment procedure. Would stay there again.
hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. really felt like they strove to achieve true hospitality. they facilitated pickups superbly and the whole experience with them was all a traveller could wish for and more.
Close to the old town and port. Comfortable and very new and modern enterieur. Far from the beach. A bit noisy because of the airplanes.
New modern hotel. Nice rooms, bathroom design was excellent. Pillows too firm. No facecloth.
Great location with a very short walk to the old town. Informative staff. Very close - 5 minutes - to the Split airport. We also stayed in Split at the start of our vacation but based on our experience in Trogir I would stay there and just take a very short ferry to Split to see the town etc.
The room was really nice!!! Would have been nice to be closer to the "old town"...
We stayed in the superior apartment. The finishings were to a very high standard and we were wowed from the start. The one balcony had great views over the old town of Trogir and the other over the sea. The hotel is very close to the old town (less than 5 minutes walk) and we loved our stay here. Would recommend the hotel without a doubt. Some people did mention that the hotel was in the flightpath, but it was never a problem for us. We were out walking during the day and returned later in the evening (to take great photos from the balcony) at which time no planes were landing.
Very convenient location to the old city, about 300 yards away..
We were very impressed by the quality of the hotel, in particular the high standard of furniture and fittings. The location is excellent, our room had a superb view of the old town of Trogir. Best of all were the staff, very friendly and helpful. We had a late arrival and were dealt with very promptly and politely, and a taxi was arranged for us early the following morning.
It was central, the staff helpful and very friendly Breakfast perhaps not up to 4 star hotel standard..
Very funky room and bathroom. Excellent location. No.
The location was perfect for walking into the town- about 5 mins over the bridge along side the marina and there were supermarkets/ bars/ restaurants near by. You also got a beautiful view of the marina and town when you walked out of the gates. The hotel setting was beautiful with balconies to sit out on, palm trees and lemon trees were around the garden to give a real sense of being "on holiday abroad". Staff were helpful. There was a busy road towards the front of the hotel but the double glazing was very good so it wasn't a real problem at all (and with the air-con to cool you down if nesessary apart from airing the room maybe during the day, the window didn't need to be open!
Helpful and friendly staff. Great location Nothing to complain about.
Very good locaction, interesting and quite garden, good breakfast ($), and staff(we really only saw one person) was great. Did not take plastic.
There was an amazing view from my balcony overlooking the marina. I felt really peaceful and calm during my stay - exactly what I wanted. The art and sculptures around the hotel were beautiful. All the staff I interacted with were super friendly. I'm not sure if I dropped on a particular party weekend, but there was quite loud music from across the marina from a couple of the bars. Also my towels were changed every day, which I though unneccessary and a bit unenvironmental.
view from balcony Rooms were rather small
The friendliness of the owners. The excllent service given by Senella the memeber of their staff They should make arrangements with credit card companies. Fire regualtions should be reviewed
A large house by the ACI Marina, actually on the island of Ciovo which connects to Trogir by a bridge 200 metres from the Domus. The room had good aircon, adequate bathroom with shower and a balcony overlooking the garden with it trees and several sculptures created by the owner. A couple of pergola/tent affairs in the garden are used for breakfast or just lounging with a book, beer/wine etc. Great location, great value, beautiful outlook.
Great location with views of the water through the palm trees and yachts. Next to yacht club so could access there facilities like washing machines.
We loved the avant garde feel of the garden; the close proximity of the marina and old city. The staff were great, especially Antonia; she was wonderful, cheerful and very kind. Seve, the dog, is adorable. Altogether made us feel very relaxed. leaving!!!
Near the airport, helpful staff, versatile breakfast
Hotel Rotondo has a lift which was greatly appreciated as we had some very heavy bags. It was beautifully clean, very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Just what was needed after 36 hours of air travel. Internet access was provided free. Not wireless but a cable was provided at reception. Reception staff spoke good english and were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The soap provided was very harsh on the skin. We booked dinner which was very thoughtfully provided at 8.30p.m. but I do not think I would bother again. Having said that, the meal was quite good for Croatian cuisine - very basic and very salty.
excellent staff - upgraded room and treated wonderfully for our honeymoon.
Very recently renovated 400 years old lovely building. Extremely nice staff. View to the see/harbor. Spacious bath. Wi-fi is not always/hardly available in all of the rooms [perhaps due to the huge walls].
The rooms had recently been refurbished and were very nice. The only poor thing about my experience was the food in the restaurant. It was unfortunate that despite being within throwing distance of the sea they couldn't serve fresh fish, the meat was pretty tough too.
The pleasant and helpful staff. The location and walk around area.Boating and easy access along coast and to Dalmania region.Off street parking.
We liked the water views and closeness to the harbour as well as the location close to Trigor. The dining area below the hotel can be quite noisy due to loud chatter, sometimes quite late in the evening.
the friendly staff As it is in the pedestrian area, parking and transportation of luggage were challenging.
central location i the old town
Situated in the World Heritage site of Trogir, Hotel Tragos offers comfortable accommodation and excellent cuisine, in a well maintained old building. The staff are friendly and efficient.
Charming hotel and great staff.
atmosphere, location, helpful staff
Very nice hotel. The location is perfect in the center of the old town of Trogir. The rooms are clean and the people working there are very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant is really good and is a good candidate for your evening meal. If you go by car the hotel lets you use a parking lot in a nearby public parking space - free of charge. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Trogir and I will definitely stay here again the next time. The breakfast could perhaps be a little bit better, but it's not bad.
Trogir is the most stunning location and the best thing about this hotel is that you are at the centre of this unique place. The hotel is within the city walls and that means that there is no transport to the hotel door (but the walk to the hotel is very short), you will have to carry your luggage up the steep staircase and the church bells will wake you up at 5am. But if you are looking for a friendly, clean place in the town centre, that is affordable and friendly, this is a pefect spot for a being a part of the most beautiful city on the Adriatic.
traditional features, family run, very welcoming
Lovely terrace garden where breakfast was served, excellent breakfast, recently refurbished good quality bathroom, hotel building with character well preserved in historic heart of town No lift could be an issue for some people - our bedroom was on the third floor
This old hotel is in the centre of the old part of Trogir. The limestone walls and polished marble staircase is like stepping back in time. However the rooms are relatively modern. Air con good and the double glazing effective in excluding street noise. The hotel has a great attached restaurant and one of only two that takes credit cards. Staff were obliging but occasionally distracted. Breakfast was in a pleasant courtyard. Being in the centre of the old town you need to get your bags in but the staff help with this.
We used this hotel as an interim stop between Split and Plitvice after dropping friends at the airport outside of Split. It was convenient for an afternoon explore of Trogir and the restaurant was fairly good for dinner.
Very clean spacious rooms, new hotel; good location 10 min.to Trogir, silent neighbourhood; nice owners
Enjoyed our short stay immensely, wish we were able to stay longer. And we hope to return. A little difficult to find. A better sign by the road would help.
My husband and I were treated like royalty fromt he first moment we arrived until we left. It was 5-star service!!
Nice location, on the water, near airport. Brand new and very clean. Don't take credit cards
One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at, owned and run by a warm and welcoming family. The location is perfect, on a beautiful seaside cove away from the tourist crowds. The view is suberb. Our room was perfect: clean, comfortable and had a lovely balcony with a great vista. Bathroom immaculate and modern. The breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant serves great cuisine with fresh seafood or local meat dishes.A wonderful experince in every way.
Location and people. Great family-owned and operated hotel
Beautiful location right next to the beach. Good transport to places of interest. Very friendly and helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. Very clean and comfortable hotel
Superb big double bed, modern bathroom with spa bath, big side balcony with wonderful afternoon sun and sundown views across sea inlet and hills. Excellent discreet service and good food. A tiny bit of distant main coastal road noise when out on balcony.
The personnel were very helpful and nice. The room was also nice with beautiful view and nice jacuzzi bath tub. The food in hotel restaurant was excellent as well. The hotel is situated in village of Seget Vranjica located about 5 km north of Trogir. There is however a nice walking path on the coastline going to Trogir and you can also use the bus. We will recommend this small hotel to everyone.
The gentleman renting the room was kind enough to come and pick me up and walk me to the hotel from where I had called him by telephone seeking directions to the hotel. There was no receptionist at the hotel as it was very small but this was not a problem for me. This Villa was very central and ideal for seeing Trogir also close to restaurants.. Very quiet despite being close to night life.
The rooms were clean, modern in furnishings and ideal for a nights stay in Trogir. The location was perfect, down a quiet side street. It would be good to have a small fridge in the room for water.
Quiet and very clean apartment in a central location. It is just as it looks in the photos. Would definitely go back.
Excellent location, friendly helpful owner
Central location, clean, stylish, well appointed apartment, convenient for a short stay. A bit noisy at night
Fantastic cosy but chic room with a shower room in a building right near the centre of Trogir. Close the window and put on the air conditioning and you're in your own world and what a comfy bed! Perfect for our needs. (NB. I incorrectly wrote this review for Pension Palac in Baska Voda...the review was supposed to be for House Ivancic so please ignore if you see the same info on the Pension Palac page) Not the easiest place to find (no signage) but the staff were really helpful on the phone and in person. Also the twin beds don't meet that well when they're drawn together to make a double bed. Not really a problem depending on your requirements.
The apartment was in a great central location and was excellent value for money. The lady who met us was extremely helpful and friendly. The balcony was an added bonus to this otherwise clean and spacious apartment, I would definitely recommend house Ivancic.
The room was too small and there is no facilities at all in the "hotel". However it's situated in the middle of the old town so everything you need is available within short distance. The room
Location is perfect - in the center of the Middle Ages town. The owner is not very friendly.
The guy waited for us until 2:00 in the morning, as we were driving in and had a few problems. He was super nice, and the room itself was perfect, very comfortable, clean, and in the perfect location right in the middle of Trogir.
the apartment was very central, but good double glazing prevented noise being an issue. Lovely light and airy apartment. Great shower, comfy bed and air con. would have been good to have anti- mosquito appliance. We only stayed for a night so did not bring anything and got badly bitten !
The bed and the location was okay The room was freezing cold. The bathroom smelled really bad. The telly didn't work.
The hotel was charming with antique furniture, but also modern conveniences. It was located in a quiet area of Trogir which we appreciated as we were trying to adjust to the time change from the US. Dragging our luggage up the stairs, but it was a good upper body work out.
Location and safety
Nice hotel in central Trogir. Excellent location. Since the hotel was recently redecorated and otherwise very nice indeed, it was very surprising that both the water tap in our bathroom was loose, that the shower was leaking considerable amounts of water on the bathroom-floor and that the defunct light-bulb over the mirror in the bathroom was not changed. Besides the safe in the room didn't work; it was locked. Suprprising that they had not see this themselves. When we had asked about the safe and nothing happened, we could not spend our holiday on the three other things which they could well see themselves. So we smiled politely and hope that this feedback will help them. If this is fixed, we would like to come back and alsp to recommend the place.
The decor of the room and its proximity to the old town. problem getting wireless access - would not work for us. Clearer instruction on locating the car park.
Delightful staff , friendly and welcoming. We arrived early in the morning after a very early flight and our rooms were already available at 0930 charmiong rooms in a .great location breakfast not great = poor quality fruit juice and a weird coffee machine, but excellent eggs or omelettes ofered as part of the deal
The quaint features and intimate size, only 7 or 8 rooms. The room was two twin beds pushed together, would have preferred a larger bed for two.
Excellent location-proximity to everything worth seeing. Nice rooms. Clean. Do not follow booking.com instructions to reach hotel! Do not believe what booking.com tells you about free parking! No free parking: 10 euros a day with hotel's parking card.
The old style furnishings and traditional Croatian menu created an authentic experience. I didn't enjoy carrying our bags up three flights of stairs with no help from staff.
Great location in Trogir. Lovely old antiques in the rooms--felt very luxurious. Nice staff--very helpful. Breakfast was good. thought about eating dinner there also, but our friends chose elsewhere. Hard to lug our too-heavy suitcases up the stairs.
well located in small walled city, charming, located conveniently to the Split airport in Croatia.
Central position. Very kind staff. Very comfortable bed. No parking.
Good service, nice breakfast, great location. Pricey, a little noise from the street. No view really except of the street.
nice employee at reception. good restaurant, same owner as hotel i am told.
perfect location, frendly staff, good restorant, good price small room
An excellent way to visit Trogir. Charming, non-standard rooms, excellent location. Be careful, there is no elevator, and many staircases.
A small, comfortable, hotel with very pleasant staff who made our stay most welcome. Quiet, despite its central location in Trogir. We would happily go back again.
Villla Meri is situated in the middle of the beautiful old city of Trogir. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here.
We used this hotel for transit through Split - good location and staff.
Very clean and courteous. Excellent for those wanting efficient airport transportation.
Small, tidy, and cozy hotel situated near the split airport. We stay just one night as we had early-morning flight but the hotel exceeded our expectations. Our rate included a breakfast but our flight was leaving too early, the staff packed us a tour go breakfast and helped us with our luggage. They also offer a free airport shuttle on demand. Nothing
It was well appointed and extremely handy for the Airport, but most of all the staff were really friendly, in particular Ivona who made our stay so enjoyable, we wish to thank her for making us so welcome.
Good value for money. Staff friendly and room clean and tidy. Provided a babycot with clean, fresh linen. Located near the airport which was very convenient after a arriving late at night.
very friendly and efficient
Nice quiet hotel. All the staff is very friendly and kind - for example, when we came back in the middle of the night, it was no problem to enter the hotel - they opened the door quiclky. It's not easy to find the hotel when you arrive - you need someone's help or detailed map. Rooms are a bit small but it's a price you have to pay for living in the heart of medieval town.
The staff was nice and helpful. Between the check out and our departure (by plane) we had 8 hours and they kindly offered their help to facilitate these difficult hours. We could leave the luggage, we could change in the bathroom and they offered good programs for the afternoon. n/a
Nice hotel in a great location in the centre of Trogir and very close to lots of lovely restaurants and the marina. Room was very clean and comfortable.
Location is incredibly close to the airport and literally only meters away from a great selection of restaurants and bars in such a fantastic little city. There is a huge variety of sight seeing attractions and tourist facilities. I will definitely be back!
Well located in the lovely old town, close to the airport and good place to kill some time on the way to Marina Kremik. Very good restaurant and a nice room with jacuzi No elevator
Some facilities were not good condition. Air conditioning unit of one room does not work.
The hotel gives to us a apartament because doesn't have free rooms. It was a big apartament, over 60m2, with a big tv, jacuzzy, etc. No free wifi, no lift (the apartment it's on the 4th floor)
Excellent location, right in the center of the old twon. Car parking is far away.
Friendly hotel in the centre of Trogir, basic room, very good lokation, good service. It is good to know that you park just outside Trogir and walk with your luggage to the hotel passing a steep bridge.
TV good, bed good, quite close to city center the room smelled! couldn't sleep well because of the noise. you couldn't even open the window at night because of the smell outside (the hotel seems to be located in an industrial area)
Excellent location for Trogir and Split. Hotel staff went bpout of their way to help when we had a medical issue. Would use this hotel again.
Everything was excellent. Spacious room, rich continental breakfast, good location-near center of city Trogir. 10 minutes from the beach by taxi boat. Very friendship service. I hope to spend my new vacations in this hotel.
Very friendly staff. Large rooms with large beds!
Good location, facilities & price. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The friendly and helpful staff Location to the busy road
Excellent staff, very helpful with good communication skills. Easy to find with good parking in a congested town. Would stay again.
The staff were excellent. They were very pleasant & more than helpful. The location was perfect. n/a
Place was not awful, but not great. The breakfast was actually pretty good and the rooms were ok - just not for the money. The place is located on a busy (and loud) street, right across the bridge from the city. The rooms are quite plain and there is not much of a view. Our air conditioner worked, which is a plus, but it was really loud and woke us up at 5am. For the money, this place was not worth it.
It was very convenient to shop at Trogir, very clean, and the breakfast was very good, and the staff was very accommodating The hotel advertised having a washer and dryer, which we needed, but it did not have this convenience, however they did take our soiled clothes and wash them for us. We did appreciate this. The one thing that bothered me most wasnot taking my credit card. We had to come up with the cash which we found to be a problem and they would not take travelers checks which also was a problem.
Very relaxed and welcoming staff, we arrived quite late from Split airport and they provided a wonderful meal at 11pm. The view is amazing, good sized rooms and balcony, lots of character. It's a little far from Split airport for an overnight stay.
Staff was helpfull but chaotic, just in one word.... Nice restaurant in the little city (just a five minutes walk... ) No Clean room & towels for the second night.Overall -> Back to basic. Everything around and in the house needs some attention (the beach-spot where sun-screens + standards are broken, the garden (almost dead tomatoes and more weeds) a little old fashioned rooms, bedsheets etc.Messy in the house....So a restyle, painter, cleaning-team and gardener are more than welcome. The most dazed i was about all rubbish there was next to the house... ( a little messy everywhere, the room for all bath-stuff (snorkling gear)) and to be honnest the location itself next to the sea.... could be a paradise on earth....Hotel Corona, please make up your mind... change the basics... and enjoy your guests, they will appreciate it!!
Breakfasts quite good. Terrible place! Situated on the Ciovo island, unattractive and boring. Every day hours spent in traffic jam, there's only one bridge to the mainland in Trogir! Dirty, smelly (bathroom!) place with lazy and chaotic service (more than 4 persons during breakfast made them I-do-not-know-what-to-do-now!)! The building is old, old -furnished, dirty windows, no air conditioning. No easy access parking, as villa is down the very steep hill. And they have a dog on a short chain under the tree, no matter the weather! The owners do not care and react with laughing when questioned about it. The worst place we've ever been!
It's right above the sea! The conditions are not what it's advertised. The room lacked a window! Mosquitos came from there. The access is terrible (cars cannot go there and you must transport luggage through stairs). The breakfast was lousy. The fax was not working so we had to wait a couple of hours for our room.
the sea view same breakfast every day
The hotel is new build. Cleanliness and an outstanding seaview are the most outspoken advantages of this hotel as experienced. I am not in a position to name more advantages, as the hotel was under closedown for the winter. Furthermore the distance to the Split airport is about 10-15 minutes. It was not mentioned during the time of reservation that the restaurant was closed and that me and my wife were the only guests at the hotel. If this fact was known we wouldn't have chosen this hotel. We were not offered any compensation for this disadvantage.
A new hotel, a clean and confy way to stay in this beautiful part of Croatia, having a splendid view of the islands and the bay. Good breakfast (continental), a pleasant place to take dinner also. Very friendly staff. Room received was small for three persons. Also the air conditioning might be set for providing a colder temperature.
Nice service and nice personel. Nice situated near sea. If you have car it is ok, otherwise it is a bit far away from buses and public transportation systems. Modern equipment. Maybe too much information about what you were NOT allowed to do and too little information about other services.. But when you get to know the personel it worked out fine! Quite a long distance from bus stop if you not have your own car.
I liked hotel Viktorija very much, the owner is kind and friendly, the family works day and night to serve their guests the best way they can. Rooms are well equipped, tidy and clean. Hotel is equipped with a lift, would say it is suitable for disabled. Our room on 3rd floor had wonderful seaview and sufficient balcony. The air-condition was working well and was appreciated as outside was very hot weather. Breakfast served on the terrace with beautiful panoramic seaview. Repetitive but good quality. Hotel is situated in a quiet village Vranjica and is easy to find since there are signs on each crossroad in the village. We liked it so much we prolonged our stay for 2 more nights! A little minus was found on the beach - only 4 sunbeds, 2 of them were broken, no parasols available. The beach is 80m downhill and is rocky with concrete parts, shared with Vila Delfin.
Clean hotel, good standard, new, nice breakfast, the staff where polite, fantastic view. Air condition was working but of no use, as the effect where to low. Rooms very hot at night. Open all windows instead.
Nice hotel to stay at if you drive to Croatia. Service is excellent, food is nice. Room with see view is clen and well furnished. Free internet available only in the lobby - no wifi.
Friendly staff with great personality Just little bit on a busy main street
Friendly staff. Restauarant downstairs. Decent pebble beAch close by. There wasn't a full English breakfast as stated on the confirmation. It was a European/continental breakfast. Also I found out that they didn't accept any form of card for payment so I had to be taken to the bank!
The room was comfortable and clean, the patio restaurant was pleasant. Was quiet enough, even thought the airport was close. The staff were not overly welcoming, the room telephone wouldn't accept more than 6 numbers
