Nothing The worst hotel ever seen. dirty, old, and so expensive. Please don't go there!!!!!!
This place is terrible. Lines for check-in exceed 45 minutes due to slow staff and inefficient processes. People cut in line and this is tolerated by staff which makes those waiting have to wait even longer! I complained to Mrs. Garcia (event director and the Manager on Duty) and the next day, still no change. The rooms are run down and furniture came from the 60's. It is like staying at a Motel 6 built in 1960 that has not been updated in 60 years. Run down and old. I have stayed in hotels all around the world. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at for service and comfort.
The service Continental breakfast
It was located at a pinturesque spot on the town. The building has history. It had a unique architecture. The room was very comfortable. The parking was good. Some corners of the building needed a little painting. The included breakfast was mostly a little snack. Sometimes there were hair in the bathroom after cleaning.
I liked the location as it has the public square and several restaurants and bars nearby I did not like the bad musty smell in the room and all the street noises are heard inside the room
Location. Front desk staff did not have change available(coins), for laundry service.
La limpieza delhotel excelente, el personal fantstico y siempre pendiente en lo que ecesita el cliente, amable, y educado. Esta situado en una area convniente y accesible a cualquier sitio de la ciudad. No tiene reealmente un verddero restaurante
Hotel is located in the historic Mayaguez downtown. It is next to the historic Mayaguez Cathedral built in the 1700's, La Plaza de Colon and a block away from bars and clubs. Hotel is historic as well, as the building used to be a monastery. Rooms are clean, very comfortable, and staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is mediocre, but right across the street is Ricomini Bakery, a Mayaguez favorite. Church starts ringing the bells every 30 minutes rather early in the morning.
The Staff was kind and helpful. The reservations process went smoothly, The location was great in the heart of town. Yes would recommend other persons to stay. Quiet and comfortable. The smell of the room felt needed some freshening up. Strong damp and a bit dusty. The bathroom was clean but the toilet paper was hanging without the dispenser rod. Otherwise everything else was very good.
The room was great. Very spacious. Great location. Beautiful views. Friendly staff. Great pool and pool bar. Great access to the beach. No Wi-fi in the rooms: no coffee in the room nor any coffee shop. I had to spend over $4 for a small coffee at the restaurant downstairs. No place to buy water or basic amenities. No gym to exercise. Food for the price was so so. The property and the balcony area in particular is rusty and appears as if it has not been cleaned in a long time. Bird drippings al over the place.
Impressed by the cleanliness of the pool... The water heater not Working The shower head dirty In the bathroom ceiling with mildew Enough hair on the room floor The A/C Filter dirty Main door not close The TV cabinet doors do not open easily The peeling ceiling of the room by parts
I like the beachfront and the food is realy good. no hot water in the shower i call for repair never fixed. The room was under the reception and we could not sleep because of the noise made by employees with their shoes all the noise of footsteps was heard in the room was awful
Rincon in general is a very nice place. Its a great surfing spot and people are nice.
The best thing about the hotel is the location. The staff is also very friendly and helpful to the extent possible (management is terrible given the conditions of the room). A very good job has been done to keep the common areas of the hotel pristine which hide the reality of the rooms. The rooms are in need of a major overhaul starting with the operation of the AC system. The first room we were sent to had water on the floor as a result of improper AC operation. On the second room the doors were rusty, the lamp actually had sings that at some point it caught fire. The toilet had yellow marks on it and the faucets were simply dirty. The AC system operation causes the sheets to feel musty and humid which is a horrible feeling to have when sleeping.
The beach and the pool area was nice. Food was great. No umbrellas for the beach, needs a major update, staff was rude and unfriendly, room was musty, No frills hotel.
Location, Pool Room was wet, like soaking wet no matter if our room was closed up with the AC on or door open AC off.
The beach was awesome not to mention the pools. The food was great and priced very reasonable. I wish i had more time to spend and enjoy the resort. I will be back and bring my children next time. This was a great choice better than we expected. The staff was very accommodating and gave great suggestions for places to see near the resort Bathroom needs to be updated and the beach didn't have umbrellas
The hotel is inside the town proper in Mayagúwz Puerto Rico and features arquitecture typical of latinamerican towns in the beggining of the 20th centrury. It was quiet and beatiful, simple and elegant. It was not luxurious but it was worth the money spent. The hotel seems to have been initially intended for a monastery and repurposed into a hotel. It features a host of religious pictures and themes, however it is not the type of in-your-face setup that would really bother a reasonable individual. The hotel does not have a lot of parking space, although did not have a problem finding a spot in an adjacent street. The room was small and would not recommend it for a prolonged stay or if you actually needed to spend time working inside the room. Additionally, the rooms seem not to have been designed with a bathroom in mind. Hence, the bathroom is very small and cramped. Nonetheless I am a big guy and could do everything, with the bath door closed.
You guys offer hotels of 3 Stars that is n reality 1 star Sorry, but I waist my money.
Excellent unique hotel with a rich history. Breakfast was typically terrible like every other american hotel.
Location was okay, right outside of the main areas in rincon. The front desk staff was friendly and the grounds were beautiful. When we stayed there was a local venue staying at the hotel and the staff seemed uninterested in making us feel important and more like intruders and second rate guests. The room was dirty we found food from the previous guests stay under the bed when we went searching for a dropped remote. The decor and furniture in the room was falling apart and the sheets were worse than a hospital beds itchy and scratchy. We went down to see if we were interested in grabbing a bite at the continental breakfast on our way out the first morning only to find it was not there at 10:30am when the ticket said it was from 8-11am we knew we were up late as we arrived late the night before so we shrugged it off but then the next morning we were up early and were amazed by the buffet that was set up at the bottom of the stairs, my boyfriend loves powered doughnuts and couldn't resist grabbing one as we went to get plates however we were told that the tables set up were for a private party and a woman practically scolded my boyfriend, we were embarrassed and confused so we went out once again for breakfast. The next morning we didn't bother to try and then the following morning the private party was gone so we went to give it one last try only to find a very disappointing card table set up with slices of ham, cheese, sliced white bread, cereal and a try of twinkies. Yes. Twinkies. Needless to say we went out again for breakfast. The other problem we encountered was the extremely limited parking, during this event there were no less than ten vendor trucks parked in the main parking lot and we had to park down the road in a dirt lot and carry our surfboards up to the room each night we couldn't find parking not a big deal but not accommodating at all. Why would you park Coca Cola and beer vans and various other food trucks in the main parking and then make your guests park in the road or at a secondary parking lot? It was very obvious that we were not at all important guests. But it's okay because we found a better great place to stay next time for less money.
Hotel was great, right on the beach. Beautiful location, good sized rooms and a friendly staff. BUT there was construction going on. It was right outside our room, they would start every morning at 7. So no sleeping in! Pool was also shut down due to construction.
Great service, cleanliness location at good price. The food was good!
Oveanview Too expensive for what it offers and location a little far away from Rincon beaches, pub, restaurant. Parking very limited. Also one morning at 8 am started construction work right next to our room window and woke us up. Not nice at all, told the staff later during the day snd just esponded with nervous laugh.
Each morning having breakfast on the balcony over looking the ocean was priceless. This is true immersion. Live like and among the local people. Out of the way but in a good way. Safe, secure and quiet. For those wanting an antiseptic hotel stay, please stay in San Juan. But for those looking for something different, you won't be disappointed. This is like having your own apartment overlooking the beach, with everything just a drive away. Can't wait to return. Some of the negative reviews are absurd. Yes you have to park across the road, if not your car will be in the ocean! Yes, you will hear.waves at night, you are staying at a beach front property, let them lull you to sleep. The caretaker was very courteous and friendly. Counting the days until I return.
Hotel is not located on or near a beach, there was no cable tv,or internet service available during my stay. The pool really needs care.
Location, and the open air bar. Musty smell in room. Loud airconditioner. Bedding was old/low quality.
Great food No phones in rooms
All the silence, tranquility, very happy people, genthel. A very good OLÉ! four stars. Have a coffee table with the coffee maker. OLÉ!
Good location for beach and eating staff was fix for 5 Star quality's unbelievable polite and truly helpful Was a little dated but clean
nice tropical setting, great food ,pool, rum bar, service, clean, great choices to have a fantastic meal.
The atention, everithing is clean , the food is awsome
I like the relaxed environment and the friendly staff. I didn't like that they were not available after hours (after 5 pm). During the hours they were available (hours of operations) I called a few times and they didn't answer. I left voice messages and there were never returned.
A little hard to find but a nice place. Staff was great. Room and beds were comfortable. Nice restaurants at hotel. Very pretty hotel. Wifi did not work in our room. Not on the beach but a short drive to nice beaches.
The hotel is what we expected. The description is a correct one on the internet. It was suited us well for 1 night accommodation and plenty of parking accross the road. It has a nice atmosphere. The breakfast was good. Although the office was closed when we arrived, the staff in the restaurant was very attentive to our needs. The beds are very high. There are too many stairs to get anywhere, but we were warned about this. The pool openning hours are only during the office hours- you cannot have a nice swim in the evening, as it closed from 6pm.
The location is so romantic and beautiful. The staff is super friendly. Can't wait to come back! Try the pizza it's delicous.
Great Room, Super Clean,Best Location in the island and excellent staff.
Dos Angeles del Mar is a wonderful getaway. John, the owner, was extremely helpful and wonderful. The pool is charming. Our room (#1) was very nice. Lots of drawer space (sometimes not available elsewhere) and good closets. Balcony had an ocean view. Continental Breakfast included. Free Wifi included (a bit spotty - wouldn't want to stream a movie). Location is up the (steep) hill from Sandy Beach. 6 minutes walk down the hill to the beach. We didn't try to walk up, but others staying at the hotel walked up several times and lived to talk about it. All in all, a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend it.
The location The hotel did not have a elevator, microwave or iron.
The rooms were clean the staff were very helpful night life was great the restaurant food was very good a special thanks to the girls thank you milsa you were great I didn't like that there was no microwave to warm up my left over
staff is friendly small room and not be clean
Location, best spot in town Hotel needs to be renewed overall to keep pace with time -2015!!!!!
Location. Easy walk to restaurants and the beach.Just an FYI comment: Stayed here in Feb 2015. Very quiet mid week this time of year (3 rooms were rented on Thursday night). Weekends are busy with locals of Puerto Rico (hotel was nearly full on Friday). No glass in windows, instead exterior metal shutters, like blinds. This meant no sunlight if AC is on. Shutters didn't block noise, so dogs, roosters, cars, delivery trucks all made sleeping difficult.Hard mattress.I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
Close to beach. Noisy air conditioner and no amenities.
El trato del personal fue excelente,la limpieza y accesibilidad a areas de entretenimiento Me hubiese gustado que la habitacion tuviese cafetera
In one word, location. They can still improve. There's plenty of room for it. The staff is genuinely service oriented.
Everything is near by. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was horrible, go eat breakfast at 'El Meson Sandwiches'.
The location is perfect. The staff
It was in a quiet area of Rincon. Close to the ocean and restaurants. A little hard to find. Google maps will put you in the middle of a not so nice back street of Rincon. You have to check in at the Casa Isleña. That is down on the beach and you can park there to go to the beach.
