It was perfect for us. We were in the area for a couple of days and needed a hotel room to sleep and shower in. The price was $10-50 cheaper than others in the area and we were able to book two days ahead of our stay. The continental breakfast was pretty standard and well stocked by the two employees who were really friendly and hard working. The lobby decor is outdated but we weren't there to host a wedding or anything so it didn't matter to us. All in all, it's what we expected and needed and we were thankful to have it for the best hotel price in the area.
All very friendly staff despite being undestaffed and having poor facilities to work with. Breakfast was ok too. Old building, musty carperting, mold in pool area, understaffed service, lack of extra sheets, towels, and pillows.
I booked a king room with a hot tub online. The room they gave us the tub didn't work and they couldn't fix it or put us in another room that night so we decided to watch tv. Cable didn't work either. So we had to spend our first night of our honeymoon watching mantanaince people try to fix our cable. The manager told us she would refund us 1 of the nights for our trouble. Next night they put us in another room, which doesn't include fridge and microwave like it says online, but atleast the cable and the hottub worked. Manager is a liar and didn't even refund us half of 1 night. We were already an hour away when she applied the discount of a whopping 45 dollars. I will not ever stay at a quality Inn again. Very disappointed with the staff and with the rooms.
The hotel is being renovated. The hotel and it's rooms are being renovated however our room seemed to be one of the ones they waiting on. Furniture worn and dirty. Wallpaper peeling. Fire detector missing, Clock and all other usual room amenities missing, ie clock, coffee maker, etc.

The staff were all very friendly and the hotel itself was very nice for the price! Not too much to complain about...you get what you pay for and for $--- a night it was a pretty nice hotel. Only thing I'd like was a better breakfast but like I said you get what you pay for.
It was affordable The front desk employee was on a personal phone call for 5 minutes before helping me, our room smelled awful, my shampoo was used, and they never had breakfast out that that promised.
Location The staff came in my room while I was in the shower. The 1st night. The hotel didn't clean my room till 8 pm on my 2 ND night stay. They only brought in sheets and towels. Didn't bother to take out trash or wipe down counters. Very rude staff.
It was in Sandusky. THAT is the only thing I liked No maid service. Never had more than the two cups in room.Never cleaned the room, Never made the bed, No washcloths. Changed towels only once during the entire stay. NO coffee maker, microwave or refrig. in room. Cheap TV. WIFI was terrible. Never again!!
The pool hours and the shower. All the staff could not speak English.
There was a used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door when we arrived.
Good location friendly staff good room for the money Could have more breakfast items

Room was very nice for the price, and the breakfast was great, they even have a pancake machine! Staff very friendly too.
excellent rooms due to fact that you get a suite bad tempered staff. weird attitude
Spacious room, friendly staff Uncomfortable bed
It was a very nice room and the price was just right, the restaurant across the street was delicious and I would stay here again There was trash underneath the couch but other than that no complaints
Nice hotel There isn't much parking
Friendly staff, nice rooms/amenities, great value Wi-fi slow and functions sporadically. An abundance of Trump campaign signage with no corresponding reason/event.
Was nice to have a sofa in the room for extra seating. The beds were a bit small. Would prefer queen beds over the full size. The sofa should have a pull out bed for extra sleep space.
Staff was incredibly friendly and gave incredible service. This includes both the front desk and the housekeeping. I love that breakfast was free and had a lot to offer. Its actually been the best hotel service I've had in awhile compared to a lot of other places I've stayed at. Thank you much.
Overall clean, comfortable room The hallways and elevator smelled like marijuana.
Under construction so no convience going to the pool, terrible breakfast. I would never go back.
Price was right and the room was clean. The complimentary breakfast was satisfactory. Descent TV's and mini-fridge in the rooms. Upon arrival, our room was very warm and damp, which was an unfortunate sign that the unit hadn't been occupied very soon beforehand. Not a huge issue, we turned on the AC unit and were fine within 30 minutes, but still concerning, especially upon first arrival. The beds are very firm, but manageable.
Very nice updated hotel. Front desk person was very nice. Nothing to say bad about the hotel.
The room was clean and stylish for the price.
Clean comfortable room and great value for money.
Proximity to cedar point was convenient and price was fair rooms were filthy..doors didnt seal..the pool was disgusting and way over chlorinated..bugs in the room kept getting bit all night.. Spend a little more and stay at a decent hotel next time
The manager was very rude and unprofessional. We will never book an other stay at this facility.
We were pleased with the roon we got. The manager was friendly and helped with the questions I had. The room was small in size, but for the one night we stayed it was fine. The room was clean, but had a musky smell (which didn't surprise me considering the age of the hotel). The bathroom was spotless! I was impressed with that since I have worked in a hotel as a housekeeper for two years. It was a quiet area too! I would stay here again the next time we head to Cedar Point!
This is an older property and it shows. For a close stay at a popular destination this is an excellent value. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. Don't expect a lot more. We had a large group and needed several " inexpensive" rooms for a 2 night stay. We got that. This property is just a 5 min. drive from the front gate of Cedar Point.
no internet , staff rude
The staff was nice & it was affordable. The safety latch on the door was broken, mold in bathroom, walls super thin can hear everything going on in room next to me, the bed was so uncomfortable. I am still recovering from the back pain 2 days later.. I just felt so unsafe sleeping there.
Nothing The smell upon entering the room was horrendous. There was water damage on the ceiling holes in the walls. The toilet ran all night long. The bed was small and uncomfortable. if it hadn't been 1am in the morning when we got there we would have went to a different hotel. Not sure where the people who wrote the reviews stayed at but this place is a dump and not worth the not worth your money or safety.
Location Dirty and run down
Mattress was very firm. I slept well. ceilings for first floor rooms was rather low.
The location was convenient. The staff who we called man sir boy was absolutely great. We don't think anything came up missing. There was an odor about the room. Our only roll of toilet paper had blood soaked through it. The pool was solid green sludge. The entire premise smelt like an ash trash and all we could breathe was someone else's second hand smoke from somewhere. Our room was entered while we were not there.
Dirty, reeked of cigarette smoke, the restaurant In the building was Chinese and it was disgusting. The t.v. didn't work. TheRe were young people in the pool playing music loudly and splashing the whole area being disrespectful. It was a waste of money. We asked for a non smoking room and they gave us a smoking room and didn't fix it in anyway.
They gave away my room
Staff very helpful and kind
How amazingly clean it was! I would definitely recommend Fairfield Inn.
Breakfast wasn't that great. The waffles were a bit hard. Overall I will stay there again.
Clean and practical. Small room. Sink outside bathrooms.
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly as well. Bathrooms could use an update.
Friendly staff One ice machine
Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, water/AC/TV all worked. non-smoking room smelled of smoke, half of the vanity was falling off, sketchy location - dark behind restaurant
I didn't like anything about this hotel. The location was scary. Beds were single not queen like I was told. My boyfriend and I had to sleep in separate beds. The worst experience I have ever had.
Friendly staff, nice cool room on a hot day, clean pool, warm showers, nice tv It's kind of in a strange part of town, so when you are in the pool a lot of people can walk by and see you
Very clean cool room. Nuce size flat screen tv. Clean pool.. close to restaurants and 10 mins from cedar point. Would stay again without a doubt. Housekeeping was very food and the staff was amazing and you get a nice breakfast love love love it Nothing it was so nice to be that close to cedar point

It is not far from Cedar Point and near the strip of major restaurants and other shopping locations. The decor was extremely outdated, there were doors that had been removed that should not have and when we tried to use the heater in the room it stunk so badly of burning plastic we turned it off. The continental breakfast was a joke.
Great location and very affordable for an additional option for lodging during a convention at Kalahari.
The location was good. For just a place to sleep, it wasn't too bad. The room we received didn't look anything like what is on the internet. The room phone & some of the outlets didn't work. Where the wall met the ceiling, there was a big crack around room. No wifi. No refrigerator or coffee pot in room. Updates need!
Nothing First room window was stuck open, service was horrible, breakfast was till 9:30 by 9 there was only 1 cereal left, tables where dirty
None The mattress was horrible. Worst sleep I have ever had.
The room had a terrible mold smell that never completely cleared out. Windows did not have screens, so I did not feel comfortable leaving windows open long. Utility room had 666 carved into door.
There was nothing good about our experience. It made our trip extremely inconvienent The hotel you booked us was closed and we were forced to go to another hotel which was HORRIBLE. It was not what we booked nor expected. We brought this to your attention and you did not fix it to our expectation. We are extremely dissatisfied.
The Location I was assigned to a room that was a smoking room, the front desk attendant did not ask if I wanted smoking or non. She was rude and seemed aggravated when I asked questions about the location.
staff was friendly and knowledgeable. great location for Kalahari and even cedar point. my coworker had her night refunded due to seeing a bedbug on her sheets! I had a bug in my room but my husband said it wasn't anything bad and that we were just staying the night and it was late and didn't wanna move our family.
The price compared to other hotels in the area There were bugs in the room. The light switches didn't work. The air conditioner didn't work. For some reason it took 30 minutes to check in with no line. There were no towels. The room wasn't cleaned from the previous renter. One of the maid's kids were staying at the hotel and they ate all the waffles and drank all the juice; they also were hogging the pool.
Waterpark was phenomenal for an indoor park. Suited more for younger children than tweens. Had a hot tub that was for adults only but children were present and splashing around a lot of the time. Overall, pretty nice. Rooms could have been cleaner and they are not the "family suites" as advertised, they are double hotel rooms with log furniture.
Rooms reception reponse time to room calls people where respectful I could relax and have fun with the kids Breakfast at the restaurant it brought down the standard in my view
GREAT WOLF LODGE WAS EXCELLENT. THIS WAS MY FAMILIES FIRST TIME THERE AND I WAS VERY IMPRESSED. THE LADY THAT READ THE STORY YOU COUNLDN'T HEAR HER CLEARLY, AND THE FOOD IN THE DINING ROOM FOR BREAKFAST WAS HORRIBLE. OVERALL IF THESE TWO THINGS GET CORRECTED , THIS PLACE WILL BE AWSOME.
They had everything we needed right on sight. We liked the extras that they offered for our children. They received Wolf ears at arrival and had activities and a bedtime story in the lobby. We all enjoyed the waterpark! The game room closed at 9. I think 10 would've been much better. We couldn't fit everything in. We had one staff person at check in that wasn't helpful at all and wasn't very nice. Another person apologized for her and took care of what we needed. Everyone else was very nice and helpful.
There was a jacuzzi tub! It was a great value for a large room with a comfortable king size bed. The morning staff was quite friendly and helpful, allowing us to help ourselves to breakfast after 10 am because we're not early risers. The jacuzzi tub was in the living room, oddly reminiscent of a cheap 80's porn studio. The room also was not adequately ventilated to accommodate such a sweaty amenity, and we spotted mildew on the ceiling. It also smelled quite damp, an indication that previous guests and staff are not capable of handling the responsibilities associated with having a bathtub in one's living quarters.
no elevated in building. bathroom was in the process of being painted. Room smelled. Vey high humility in room everything felt wet
The breakfast was okay and the beds were pretty comfy. The air wasn't working right and we had to change rooms at around 1:30 in the morning cause my whole family couldn't sleep due to the room feeling like a sauna.
Located just minutes from several things. Easy access from road. Good breakfast. Parking lot small, no map of hotel facilities.
The location was awesome. We went to Cedar Point and it was super close and very easy to find. When we got to the hotel the room was so cold. I mean really cold, which was nice since we had a blistering hot day at Cedar Point, and all of us really like our rooms to be chilly. The room size was very nice for four people and we for comfortably, I would not have stayed in the room for an extended stay though. The hotel was also pretty close to some nice food resturants in the Sandusky area. The room and bathroom were also pretty clean. The hotel wasn't fancy or brand new, a little run down, but comfy. That bathroom. The bathroom was way way too small and every time we turned the light on it made a distorted ringing noise that was so abnoxious we used our cell phones for light. Also, the breakfast. The breakfast was not very good at all. There was no warm food. You could put like a bagel in the toaster oven, but it didn't work. We also had to walk to the Pavilion, which was forever away from our room and it was also outside. It got very hot and muggy in there really quick. We even left and took our breakfast to our cold room.
The room was clean and comfortable. Very close drive to many restaurants and the park. Though having the jacuzzi split between the bedroom and the bathroom, it turned out to be a pretty cool set up. We loved the huge tub! The decor is very dated and the grounds could use some upkeep. The "continental breakfast" was disappointing (thawed frozen waffles, three choices of cereals, and pop tarts). We didn't like the outdoor seating area, since it was pretty cold that morning.
place was very clean with no maintenance issues . the ac and heat unit worked very well. was able to take motorcycle inside court yard and park right at our doors. the outside screened in room for continental breakfast was a very nice addition. housekeeping staff was great and supplied me with extra rags and showed me where outside water hose was to wash my motorcycle because it was so dirty from being caught in rain.
Cozy room with a fridge, microwave and jetted tub. Had a nice selection for breakfast. Rooms could easily be updated and be so much nicer. Coffee maker did not work.
easy check in breakfast breakfast - .outdoors
Location. Cheap. Cable. Pool. Nice Employees Bathroom. Smell. Small. No Ice machine.
The price for the room The several large spiders residing in the inside of the bathroom window, the overwhelming smell of mildew emanating from the bathroom and old cigarettes smell in a room that was supposed to be non-smoking.
We paid for our room online and when we got there the owner / staff person said the purchase we got the room for wasn't enough and had to pay an additional $100 due to a holiday weekend. Never again will I get a room from them.
The AC unit could not control temperature. Sheets were not clean and had spots on them. No room service!
It was very quite. The bed was comfortable room was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. It was also in walking distance to shopping and resturants
The breakfast was wonderful. The room was comfortable but filthy! The water park was fun. Centrally located near stores, restaurants, and of course right next to Cedar Point (not quite walking distance) Dirty toilet, nasty vomit covered curtains, outdoor pool was disgusting and our television was fuzzy
It was a good place to stay overnight, but that is about it. The beds are comfy and it was quiet in the hallways. The place looks very dingy. As soon as we walked in, the place smelled musty. When we went down the hallway to get to our room, the musty smell was even worse. When we entered our room, there was a different stinky smell. Even though supposedly you weren't allowed to smoke in the hallways or even the rooms, I smelled old smoke. The carpet in our room was very dirty. The bathroom's floor was dirty and in the bathtub, there was a very long piece of hair (my hair is short). The air conditioner was falling apart, but it did make our room cold. I wouldn't stay here again.
The staff was great! Thought indoor water park and pool would be a little bigger. Ice machine on our floor was broke. Needed a little updated like carpet.
You are definitely feel like a guest they appreciate. Their attention to detail and cleanliness in superb. The breakfast buffet was delicious with fresh make yourself Belgium waffles. I have to say I was very impressed and happy with this hotel. There was way too much chlorine in the hot tub. My son and I were trying to sit in it for a late night soak and my eyes and lungs were actually burning. I had to get out because of this. Couldn't even be in the room. It was overkill.
The price of the room was fair & the location was excellent. No refrigerator and no microwave in the room.
We spent a great deal of time researching hotels and reading reviews before deciding to stay at this Hampton Inn. Our family (2 adults and 2 children) visited Cedar Point and the African Safari. Check-in was the quickest that I have ever experienced. Gavin was very polite and made us feel welcome. The room is basic, but decorated tastefully. The beds are very comfortable. The room was stocked with plenty of towels, an extra blanket, and more than enough pillows. The hotel was so quiet, that you would think that you had the place to yourself (in our case, the hotel was full). There were no maintenance problems and no elevator delays. The breakfast buffet provided plenty of choices for our family. Every day, there were two hot foods to go along with the cereals, donuts, muffins, bagels, etc. The hostess(es) could not have been nicer! They were constantly refilling the food supplies and cleaning up after the guests. The food was displayed beautifully and was always covered to maintain fre...
