We had a good experience at the hotel. Staff was nice and rooms were very clean. Only minor negatives: Room service food, particularly breakfast, isn't really that good, which forced us to start going out for breakfast ( 3 out of 5 stars). However no worries because it's NYC so there is plenty of food around. Location isn't the greatest, but it's close enough ( 4 out of 5 starts). The 9/11 memorial is right across the street, which is convenient, but other than that, you'll generally be taxiing or ubering everywhere. My boyfriend forgot his keys and didn't realize until we were back in DC. The great news is that the housekeeper did turn in the keys, but the guy in the list and find area was being a dick, asking him the most ridiculous questions... We still haven't received the keys either. Hopefully they actually send them.
They easily accommodated all of my requests and the staff was delightful in all of their interactions. Beyond that, the hotels looks nice, has clean facilities and has a great location next to the One World Trade Center/Freedom Tower, as well as connections to a variety of subway lines. Very convenient.
Beautiful hotel. The room was clean, nice and had an amazing view of the Freedom tower! Well worth the money
Great view, clean rooms, very attentive bellhop and staff.
An air conditioning unit that was never able to reach the desired temp and a rattle from the unit itself all night long.
Loved everything from staff to the fresh new high class bed sheets
55 dollars a day to park, moved 1 bottle of champagne in the fridge and was charged 20 dollars for it, due to the sensors on the bottles, called front desk and they removed it from the bill with no issue though.
The front office staff were very helpful in organising a room change to a suite as the two double bedroom we booked was not acceptable as the beds were not double beds more like 3/4 beds. The swimming pool was great as we had a 3 year old & the lifeguard found us armbands without asking for them
The double beds were not double!! They were 3/4 size & too small for us to sleep together comfortably so we had to move rooms.
best view in the sity
Wow! What an amazing view. I could sit there all day and watch the world go by.
The noise was worse than I expected. I would not pay full price for the hotel while it is this noisy. Luckily I was very tired and slept through the sound, but normally I would not have been able to.
Friendliness of Staff, views, daily room cleaning, choice of breakfast.
Cost of extras, eg Internet, room service
Rooms were great, staff is exceptional.
No fault of anyone but the construction for the World Trade center goes through the night and even from the 41st floor we could hear it loudly. Perhaps you can mention this on your site when people book and maybe offer earplugs which I'd have gladly taken or even purchased for a nominal fee.
The amazing view of the skyscrapers, Hudson river and Jersey, the service provided and the link to many subway lines. Also, the spacious and clean room, the free gym and swimming pool and the coffee/tea machine in the room and free water.
Surprising location adjacent to Ground Zero! The room was excellent, spacious-, comfortable, with a 180 degree view of Manhattan !Spectacular-
Very nice hotel, great location downtown, room was excellent and very well equipped.
Side facing ground zero is noisy. Work seems to be 24/7 and the windows do not fully eliminate the heavy construction. Very interesting if you are into civil engineering. Cost of breakfast is unbelievable, however many possibilities outside.
The incredible view from my room on the 23rd floor overlooking the reconstruction at ground zero.
Charging extra for internet access, over a fairly expensive room price to begin with.
Great downtown location next to wtc site. Hotel is new and is better planned than 99% nyc hotels.
Breakfast menu is overly expensive, however poor in terms of selection.
