Very slow elevators. Allotted time need just to wait
Bad staff, dirty bed cover and cut Blanket ( I have photo if you want)
Everything, it is really bad hotel.
I frequently travel to New York City and have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions. Given recent implementation of the “destination fee” and lacking customer service, this hotel no longer holds the same value to me. The implementation of the “destination fee” of 25 USD per night is a joke. This fee appears to be applied (thus far) by two hotel brands operating in New York City. The staff and hotel attempt to sell the fee as a service. In reality, I used none of the services and yet it remains a mandatory fee in addition to the room rate. This tactic seems quite dishonest on the part of Marriott - when they could just increase their hotel rate. In addition, I have noticed a decline in customer service and their reception for Elite members is not impressive. This last trip over the holidays will be the last time I stay at this hotel as a result of my experience at this hotel.
Hotel is getting old but good location
Good midtown hotel near shopping, theater, restaurants, museums, subway
Hotel is a little dated and Destination fee of $25 per day is a rip-off
A great stay
Great suite, stylish and comfortable furnishings, and large, modern bathroom at fair price and good service. Environment conducive to business and tourism with family, privileged and quiet location, with all facilities.
The view from the low level is not pretty, facing other buildings, but it does not bother. The restaurant does not have many choices, but is reasonably priced and a good last minute option. Anyway, around there are several alternatives to services and restaurants.
Great stay in NYC
Hotel was excellent! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and clean with very comfortable bed. Very close to the sites. 10 minute walk from Rockefeller, 20 minute to Time Square. Very safe area, would definitely recommend.
a night in NY
Great location! Hotel was within walking distance of pretty much everything! Staff was extremely friendly & accomodating. when in NY again for fun, this would be the first place I would look to book. Not overpriced but still seemed like a luxury stay. Thanks Marriott!
