breakfast was good some of the reception staff were very good
I survived the stay and did not die in my sleep
When we walked into the hotel it was like entering the twilight zone. It felt like being in a retirement house. When we got to the room, the bathroom had mold on the shower curtains and the walls - I did not shower in the hotel, I was so creeped out about the hotel I did not sleep very well that night. Luckily I was only staying for the one night. I won't be going back there, and I won't recommend the hotel to anyone. It was rated as a 3 star but it should've been a 1 star. The hotel needs updating and the staff need to become a lot friendlier.
First of all, staff are really pleasant in communication and considerate. Many workers speak several languages. Breakfast is excellent. Nice restaurant and cafe service and facilities.
Facilities need to be improved obviously. Rooms for smokers and non-smokers should be allocated in different parts of building, as if my neighbour above or below my room is smoking all the smoke is coming to my room as well through the windows.
Nice, old, but clean and charming hotel. Some things need renovation, but you can see that hotel staff works their job very well.
Old building but beautiful and has a authentic spirit with high ceilings, wooden white sun shield. It would be nice if the hotel could be renovated to its originals. The room was large enough to accomodate 3 with a balcony having a nice view of sea and Rijeka coast. Not a luxury but still might think to stay the next time at its reasonable price. The open buffet breakfast was satisfactory.
Old and needs to be refurnished.
Th lcation was great
it is peacefull
everithig is ok
Paid for Sea View which was magnificent + evening meal was excellent value.
1960's furnishings and decor in bedrooms
Location, room with view and balcony. Closeness to sea and town.
Why was not breakfast allowed to be eaten outside? Why was the pool closed on Sundays (if it needs to be clean, why not during night time or a week day)?
