10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the place was great. The staff was exceptional. All the extras were a great bonus and will result in return visits. We are planning to return often as our new getaway.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Price / location
5.0 Okay
Pros: Lady at front desk was very nice and location
Cons: We stayed down stairs this time. Very noisy.
7.0 Good
Pros: The cafe was nice but too small and cramped. I liked the parking in front of my room as requested.
Cons: the TV is too complicated for simple folks, The massaging beds were ok...not as nice as the comments on line suggested. Also did not like the bare floors...they look very nice but not warm in winter.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: No more Kleenex in rooms.
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great. Staff was very friendly.
Cons: Sidewalks in front of room were snow covered and slippery. Stairs were slippery as well. Cleaning staff didn't clean very well. Floors weren't cleaned properly.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: location and price
Cons: fighting over the TV channel in the morning, I know you can't cater to all but they can't keep switching depending on who walks in...staff must be more firm for the majority
8.0 Excellent
Pros: lots of amenities
5.0 Okay
Pros: The adjustable beds were a good touch.
Cons: The room was not clean. Algae on the bottom of the shower curtain, filthy near the toilet paper roll, and dust everywhere, including under the bed. Plugs were half hanging out of the outlets. It took 3 hours to warm up our room despite confirming ahead of time that we would be there, and being assured that our room was ready. (It was 10° outside) The showers also took about 30 minutes for warm water to start flowing out if it. They do offer free food. However, these are snacks that were stale. Nothing to make a meal out of, except the soups. Our TV worked maybe half the time and internet was slow. Shows would take several minutes to load. We had asked for fresh supplies, ie toilet paper, facial tissue, towels etc. They were out of a lot of things. The cleaning staff was seen on multiple occasions outside if rooms smoking. Our impression was that they were trying to be a good place, but their overall preparedness, cleanliness, and provisions have a lot to be desired.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great value, lots of extras
Cons: Bathroom in great need for update
6.0 Good
Pros: food available all day movie selection
Cons: beds were not comfotable

Pros: Room was clean , bathroom had a laundry basket for dirty towels under the vanity ! First time I ever saw that ! The towels could have been thicker a bit . Ease of parking / access . No slamming doors
Cons: The hot tub/juccusi was not working due to a part failure. Sympathetic , I know service and parts . However the inn made sure I could use the facility at the inn next door . It was a pain to walk/drive wet but apres ski is not the same without a hot tub . Breakfast typical inn quality it will do in a pinch. Styrofoam plates plastic wear , waffle iron , instant eggs . Not real quiet , but not real loud . Small elevator I think its more or a handicap lift to be fair .

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast.
Cons: Could use an exercise room.
6.2 Good
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly which I do appreciate. Nice aesthetic, gorgeous garden area. Parking was good.
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable. Granted I have a pinched nerve in my lower back and bad neck muscle spasms. The pillows were alright, but the bed hurt my back. I slept maybe 6 hours broken up 1st night and I normally sleep 8. Woke up with a sore back. The second night I slept under 5 hours all broken up. So by day 3 I was grouchy because I need my sleep. The food served in the morning offered with the breakfast vouchers was left overs from previous day. They shouldn’t serve stale bread to someone paying almost $200 a night on a bouncy ball material made bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really feels like a 5-star resort. Loved being able to saunter down to the Noggin Room for meals. Easy walk to town. Awesome water view from our room. Patio outside our room. Comfy beddings. Lots of hot water. What else do you need!

Pros: The location and the towels.
8.0 Excellent

Pros: Bed was comfy and nice view
Cons: Loud noise police next room over called four times. To front desk. Did nothing to accommodate all the noise. When called front desk at night they were not very helpful nor provide with any accuracy that it would be over and see to it that did extinguish the problem. Talked the next day day shift was not aware they called manager who couldn't do anything for me but was supposed to talk with owner and get back with me and never did. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Walls thin very loud from 11 pm to 230 am we got no sleep and had a long drive that day!!!!

Pros: Pool and hot tub were clean and well kept. The rest of the facility were also clean. We were greeted by a friendly front desk worker upon arrival and quickly checked in. We went to this hotel based on location and proximity to ski areas and it didn’t disappoint. Just a short drive to 3 local areas.
Cons: The property is starting to show its age a little bit and could use some repair and update. Beds were not great but for the rate we paid it wasn’t a huge deal.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: So nice to go back in time while staying at this wonderful and lovely Country Inn. Pleasant staff, delicious food, clean, and quaint. A lot of special touches to make you feel at home i.e., a warm and friendly sitting area with fireplace and dining area that offers assorted hot beverages for guests. Especially nice when you come in from a cold winter outing. So many things to do in Petoskey - hiking, biking, shopping and just exploring this beautiful area or you can just stay in and sit by the fire with a good book. Have been here before and will be back again. Very relaxing and quiet.
Cons: Bed mattress was a little lumpy but I survived. I felt it part of the experience.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The oldest hotel in Petoskey built in 1911. Actually looks like a huge grand house. Situated in the lovely, upscale Bay View residential area but still a walkable 25 mins into the town centre. Hotel had nice public spaces and outdoor terraces and porch. We weren't blown away with our room but maybe that's because we're British and used to a lot of old stuff! We stayed in a King Deluxe. Furnished more in a 1950s style. Bit of a lumpy bed with sheets and candlewick bedspread. Over bath shower with curtain. Staff are very friendly and helpful and it's quite a sociable place with a lot of guests chatting together over a drink on the porch which was really nice. My favourite thing, however was the breakfast which is included in the room rate. Great homemade entrees that change each morning, plus lots of fruit, oatmeal and cereals, bread, bagels and scones. A veritable feast! There is also coffee and other hot drinks available in the lobby from 7am to late. We didn't get round to having dinner here during our 3 night stay but ilm sure it would be good. We would stay here again.
Cons: Slightly lumpy bed. Felt our room could do with a paint job and definitely new curtains.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good and the Inn although very old is charming.
Cons: The bed was way way too high. When they put a step stool by the bed and you have to use it then it's way to high.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The vibe was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent facility with breakfast.
Cons: Unfortunately we were there on Sunday evening when the restaurant was not open.

Cons: Absolutely nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very quaint and charming. Breakfast was wonderful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Being bayside, the location is beautiful. The Inn is located on a busy road, but it didn't really bother us. The Inn has a an old world charm that made our imaginations wander to what it must have been like in days gone by. The furnishings are antique and lovely. One of the charms is that our room had guest journals dating back several years. It was neat to see what some of the guests had experienced. We would stay there again.
Cons: No complaints.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This property was truly clean - the cleanest I have ever experienced. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. One small issue is that there is not a TV in the room. There is a big screen TV in a game room/library area for guests to use. This area also has tea, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. available. The setting is on the lake shore. I do suggest that you ask for a room at the back. The road noises in the front were a little distracting during sleep, but not horrible.
Cons: We liked the property a lot. No complaints.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: everything very quaint.. old fashion.. peaceful great views breakfast was wonderful... loved the cookies such a nice touch.. ❤️
Cons: Toilets were very small (short) like children’s. Hubby is 6’5 no rails to assist in getting off such a small toilet.. he had to bend his head a lot. Even going down the stairs.. this wS the only inconvience for us..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm and inviting with old world charm
Cons: No T.V. in the individual rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Homemade cookies and friendliness of staff Very welcoming
Cons: The water pressure in the shower not a big deal for a weekend and I also understand very old establishment so certainly not a deal breaker
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extra effort to please by staff

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The beds were comfy. Staff was nice
Cons: The pool had no extra towels
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Cleanliness--outside "hallways" were filthy and garbage cans were overflowing. Bathroom floors were dirty. Refrigerator was dirty inside and never got cold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great value and location! Very friendly staff.
Cons: All was great.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Only hotel in all of Petoskey that allows pets, so really no other choice...
Cons: This is definitely a 1.5 star, MAYBE a 2 star hotel. Saturday morning at 9a, I tried to check out but the office was locked and even the cleaning ladies were standing around wondering where the front desk clerk was? The "breakfast" is a joke too...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, facility, price
Cons: Everything was great
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location.
Cons: No exterior windows. No view.No breakfast. Would never recommend. Pool and hot tub out of order. Room smelled musty. Poor mattress.
6.0 Good
Pros: It was easy location to get to
Cons: They're in the process of restoration. They have quite a ways to go but they were honest about it and the price reflected it
7.0 Good
Cons: They have removed their hot tub and the pool needs to be a little warmer
6.0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Sink and tub did not drain
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The shuttle service to the casino, and my dog could stay with me.
Cons: Our room was DIRTY, and STINKY! I cleaned it myself using my own cleaning supplies, and bought febreeze and scented candles to kill the smell. I was told "it's a pet friendly room." There was dog poop on the carpet upon entry (before my dog arrived), the tile looked like it hadn't been swept or washed, the shower/tub wasn't clean looking, there was a layer of dust on the picture frames, shelves, bed frames, tv, bedside table. There were drink rings and sticky stuff on the bedside table, dining table and refrigerator cabinet. The refrigerator had hair and bottle caps beside it. I found cigarette butts and a washcloth under the bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good. We stayed another night than planned and got an excellent rate. My father had surgery and the location of the hotel could not have been any better. We are very pleased that we booked at your hotel.
Cons: The only small thing was that after we came home from the hospital and had already paid for the extra night, we got home late and our keys didn't work. So I had to walk to the office to get the key to work again.
7.1 Good
Pros: Pool, hot tub, and sauna were great. Beds were very comfortable.
Cons: We woke up to the smell of marijuana at 4am. Had to run the bathroom fan all night and open the window. Staff just said sorry. We were surprised that they didn't offer us any compensation for the bad experience.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: A good night sleep. Hotel is under renovation.
5.7 Okay
Pros: Really good TV, several movie channels available. Wifi worked well, bed was comfortable with a good pillow selection. Lots of soft fluffy towels and enough soap.
Cons: Musty smell to the room, probably related to the concrete-block foundation and carpeting. Mildew on the ceiling in the shower area. Hair dryer didn't work; response when I reported this to the front desk was a useless "gosh darn it!" Breakfast was all donuts & muffins with some juice and coffee. Went elsewhere to eat :-/ Disappointing view - Petoskey and the Bay blocked by buildings across the street.

Pros: The hotel was perfec. great setting. They had many a activities for you to choose from. Only downfall.. the bed was placed in an area with angled ceiling. We are tall.. so hitting our heads was an issue when you got up in middle of the night

Pros: The cleanliness.

Pros: Close to ski area
Cons: BAD room location because I book thru you
6.0 Good
Pros: Convenient to slopes. The calls telling the activities happening. Wish I would have realized that earlier! Got them on the last day.
Cons: The Check in wasn’t very personal. I told him this was our first time ever being there and he says” I see that. Welcome. “ No additional info or anything. We really didn’t know our way around which building hosted the activities or anything. Very disappointed
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location couldn't have been any better. Such a beautiful setting far off the main road. It was a joy driving in every time we came back. The staff were over the top friendly. Everyone says hi when you pass them on the grounds.
Cons: A few minor things. The wifi signal was SO weak that my laptop would not run on it. It was also a non-secure connection, so that wasn't my favorite. Also the AC/temp control was old, and it turned on and off loudly. I woke from it several times.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: The room was ok could have used updating . Also there were people with a dog and it kept barking everytime you went in the hall.

Cons: I booked the hotel online and paid at the time of booking. When I checked out, I got charge more for no reason, so I explained what I have paid for including the tax, and the lady at the front desk said, do not worry , I will credit and send you email. It occurred on last Sunday. Today, when I checked my credit card, I found the extra charge is still on the bill and she sent me an email saying the extra charge did go through my credit card without further explanation. I am very upset. More update: I called them and explained the situation, and they fixed it and credit the extra charge. The staff at front desk is very nice.
