The staff at Radisson Blu Alcron are the friendliest and most personable bunch of people. From the front desk to the bar staff, they made any first time travelers to Prague very welcomed. Ondrej took the time to point out some of the best places to see and things to do while in Prague. The location of the hotel is also excellent. The rooms are very quiet even the ones facing the main thoroughfare. The rooms are rather small. They can really do away with the fabric sofas in the room (hygiene reasons) and just place 2 armchairs in the room to open up the space.
As shown above we paid for an upgraded room which included CD player and free pay channels. I was with my daughter and as we did not intend to be out late in the evening having films available to watch was the reason we upgraded. I asked the hotel reception and was told that they were not available.
Large room and bathroom, huge and delicious breakfast included, good location at junction of old and new city. Wonderful executive sitting room with free wine and drinks and food and friendly staff. Smoking was allowed in the public bar/lounge which made it unpleasant to sit there. Also, it would have been nice to have a nightlight in rhe bathroom. ,
The situation, the quiteness, the praticality Aircondition (Functionning only on the prefixed degree by the Hotel)
The location is what attracted me to the Eurostars Thalia and it appeared to be a nice hotel on the website. Upon arriving, the hotel met all my expectations, the staff was very nice and the location was about as good as you're going to get in Old Town of Prague. I was traveling solo to meet up with my son on his Study Abroad trip but I will be returning with my wife and I would stay again for sure. Reasonable price, nicely furnished, attentive staff and great location!
The breakfast had areally good variety, however it would be good if the guest could choose how their eggs are prepared. The non-smoking policy should be addressed, I specifically asked for a non- smoking room. however the room was on a floor with people that smoked and it affected me seriously, also the public areas should be non-smoking. again the comfortable part of the public lounge was so badly polluted with sigarette smoke that we could not use it and had to go to another restuarant for drinks and snacks
Rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was excellent. The rates were all affordable including parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
location is excellent. you can do all the important sites by walking. you don't need the metro. It was not 5 stars hotel service. We needed to argue about late checkout although the hotel was empty, the food in breakfast was cold, the room was small and no ventilation. The price of the transfer from the airport was outrageous.
Quality of the room, reception staff friendly always wanting to help.Quality of food.Central location. Most unfriendly restaurant staff.Never saw a smile. It seemed as if just pouring a cup of coffee was doing us a favour
comfortable , but boring , unappealing and oldfashioned without the old charm. Friendly staff
Everything in the hotel is designed from the art nouveau period, there are REAL works of art along the walls. This place restored my faith in the power of architecture and design. I hope to return there someday. Great location as well - the brunch/breakfast were also awesome, staff very friendly and helpful.
location and Hotel were great!
The location was great and the whole style of the hotel inside and out was fantastic. The staff were friendly and very helpful i will definitley return to the Iron Gate on my next trip to Prague. Nothing
The position of the hotel is very good and affords easy access to restaurants and sites. Yes. The breakfast was not inviting and the service was indifferent.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and did everything possible to make our visit pleasant. The room was quiet, and reasonably well set up. Very close to train station, and very convenient to most parts of Prague.
Ich kann das Hotel Yasmin nicht beurteilen, da wir wegen einer Überbuchung am Anreisetag in ein anderes Hotel wechseln mussten. Die Abwicklung vom Hotel-Wechsel hat aber gut geklappt.
staff were friendly and great location. the room was spacious then i expected. also breakfast was good and great view from my room. it has an elevator but you still walk to your room half floor. you should ask somebody to carry your luggage if its too heavy.

Really excellent experience and pleasurable stay, especially the fabulous spa facilities. The only negative was that the beautiful hotel lobby hall was closed off one evening for a private funcion and we have to access the hotel via a side entrance.
room comfort and design, breakfasts, hotel building and the spa +swimming pool insufficient room heating
Best staff and more
Nice decor. Comfortable and modern room. Unattentive receptionist.
location, outstanding staff (one exception) - very accomodating individual operating front desk asked repeatedly for a cash deposit for an excursion and discovered (zero) absolutely no funding of any nature could be applied from hotel to company operating tour. I only saw her weekends and we were planned to check out in two days. she spoiled an otherwise outstanding experience
sillence and later chek out
Well decorated, very clean. The rooms are pretty spacious with comfortable beds, the bathroom also spacious with super large mirror. Overall, the equipment in the room was in great shape, nothing broken or overused. Very quiet rooms, we did not hear neither the street nor any other rooms, but our room was in the corner and the windows were pointing some back yard, so maybe not rooms will be alike. The bathroom had very poor air ventilation. There's no view whatsoever from any hotel rooms, the building is surrounded by another large hotel and another large building. The WiFi is super pricey, and I cannot understand why, though they do have an Ethernet connection available in the rooms, not only WiFi.
It was what I expected from a Marriott. Good room size, facilities and good breakfast. The Marriott Prague specifically > no morning gown, no morning slippers, not much on amenities compared to other Marriott hotels in Europe.
