Pros: Location was key for our stay. The rooms were clean.
Cons: The amenities are not worth the price of the room. The WiFi was spotty at best and the breakfast consisted of food from a convenience store.

Pros: Location was great, we'll be staying there every time we come up. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.
Cons: The breakfast wasn't that good. The eggs weren't cooked completely. Would like closer parking. The best spots were saved for gold members of which there were none. TVs could be bigger. The eggs were the biggest issue.

Pros: Scenery was beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful!
Cons: Climb to the cabin was a little steep and parking could be a little more clearly delineated.

Cons: Some on staff were not properly trained on customer satisfaction and comfort
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location and property surrounded by wonderful hikes and scenic drives. Cabin room was spacious and comfortable with adequate amenities, including a comfortable bed with nice linens.
Cons: Bar closed at 9pm during the week.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It’s a beautiful old lodge tucked back in the NC mountains near the TN border. Lots of hiking trails on-site and scenic byways to drive around and get fantastic pictures. Whitewater rafting in the summer months and plenty of places for fishing.
Cons: Was told the Lodge is NOT child friendly, was actually told no children were allowed in the old lodge building because of thin walls and creaking floors. That the cabins, which weren’t open yet are for guests with children. Although the details say it’s kid friendly. So we cancelled our dinner reservations and tried to stay busy off the property as much as possible and be real quiet at night while at the lodge. It’s old and the rooms are tiny, also no tv or refrigerators in the rooms which is probably due to tight space.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Literally everything!!! Spot for my bike, great staff, amazing breakfast and lunch spot. Great views, and very clean cabin and facilities.
Cons: Price was a little high, but everything provided was amazing!!!

Pros: What a hidden secret in the woods. The house is awesome and it is more or less like you will be own it. The time at the fire pit at the backyard was priceless. Stayed there till late night and watched the fireflies and heard the sound of the wood. We wished to have more time. The hosts are very friendly and nice people. And the dogs are lovely.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Bob and Cynthia were enjoyable hosts. We loved their dogs too! Our complimentary breakfast was delicious! While we were off the beaten path in a very beautiful area of Yellow Creek Rd. where motorcycle enthusiasts love to ride and close to where the Appalachian Trail crosses through, we were given the opportunity to grill food out which made for more relaxation and less time traveling for a dinner meal. The creek, deck and home was very comfortable and in a beautiful setting! Our room upstairs was pretty! The balcony was also nice to sit out on in the evening with a cool breeze. Thank you Bob and Cynthia for a very lovely time in your home! It was a pleasure to have met you both!
Cons: The full bed sheets upstairs were incredibly soft and luxurious but seemed to warm us up quite a bit too much through the night which was a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise everything was great! Thanks!

Pros: Jeff & Cynthia, and their pups, are amazing! They were super friendly & helpful & accommodating & just wonderful. The facilities are perfect & the breakfast was delicious. There’s no cell service, but honestly that was part of the charm. The local trails & waterfalls are also worth a trek outside. Overall, my dog & I couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay! :)
