Cons: Average
7.4 Good
Pros: The staff was great and facilities were clean and comfortable
Cons: Online advertisement made the hotel look like it had a great restaurant, but it was more like a fast food type environment with a small buffet type setup with very limited hours and no lunch served. This facility is geared more towards business functions and not family. My wife and I will definitely not be back here again for that very reason.
7.1 Good
Pros: convenient location for my out of town relatives to stay for a family event
Cons: A relative reported that the toilet in their room is clogged late at night. No staff came to resolve it, and instead, the staff, named Mehna, who was supposed to take care of it went home. My relatives were not even offered to be transferred to another room where the toilet is functional. They have to wait the following day for the matter to be resolved by another staff.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and chic room. Very clean and quiet. All over appearance of hotel is beautiful.
Cons: I didn't like that there was no blanket on the bed it was just a sheet and bedspread which can be too hot sometimes. Also, cleaning staff came knocking at 9 am on a Saturday and check out wasn't til noon which was bothersome.

7.7 Good
Pros: Great location for our needs. Pool was cool and comfortable. Cold AC, which was important to us, as we were escaping super hot temps in our house!
Cons: Bathtub didn't drain properly in our room. Walls needed to be washed, some dark marks on them, including a handprint on the bathroom wall. Went to the front desk for towels for the pool as the signs indicated we should, none were available. Not a great value for the price.
7.3 Good
Pros: Price
Cons: Bathroom smelled of urine.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great, and the complimentary toothbrush was great since I forgot mine
Cons: Could have been cleaner, not that it wasn't clean. I'd stay again
5.4 OK
Cons: I asked for a quiet room and it was the noisiest one. It seemed that another guest left the TV on at blasting volume. I could hear it clearly in my room. The bed was uncomfortable and the ac too hot. The door locks did not work properly so you had to enter the key several times to open. The desk rep was not amicable and seemed rude all the time.
3.1 Mediocre
Pros: Staff was incredible.
Cons: Hotel was littered with people smoking marijuana inside. We needed to be moved at 2am because it was soo bad.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were clean and was a nice size, it's a great location, and the price was pretty reasonable.
Cons: There was no do not disturb sign. The maids came at 9 am while we were sleeping. Thank god the top lock works. Scared the crap out of us. Also there was no sink in the bathroom, it's outside the door kind of in the room. It was a bit weird.

8.2 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean and the motel was easy to find. Close to highway and restaurants.
Cons: Bed was extremely uncomfortable and the shower had no hot water or water pressure
5.4 OK
Pros: While the hotel room was bare-bones (exactly 1 soap, 2 towels, 2 washcloths, 1 floor mat for a room with 2 beds), it was clean and without blemish. The AC works well enough to keep the air circulating on a cool night.
Cons: We stayed on a Saturday night and the some 3-8 guests in the area were loud 11:30pm-2am. Cigarette smoke bellowed in through the AC, rooms on all sides had doors that slammed every time anyone went in/out of their rooms. Would not stay at that location again.

Cons: We reserved a room with two queen size beds. When we checked in, which was early evening, they did not have any such room. Bad management. The hotel recently changed from a Radisson, and it looks tired and in transition. We stayed somewhere else. The Sheraton south Hartford, which was great.

4.0 OK
Pros: The price
Cons: Everything else
6.6 Good
Pros: Clean safe room at good price
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, clean room. We extended our stay again and again to FOUR nights. Huge freezer and fridge.
Cons: There was nothing to complain about
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The inn was very affordable. There was evrn a full sized refrigerator in the room! Overall, the "Bang for your buck" was amazing! Yes the bathrooms are a little dated, adorable pink and white tiles, but they were clean and well-maintained and that's more important than how old equipment is. Also the air-conditioning unit is solid! The room cooled off so quickly I had to lower it!
Cons: While the bed was very comfortable, the pillows were super thin and they only give you three on a king sized bed. But Target was just down the road and we bought an extra pillow (a whole $4). Just make sure you bring an extra pillow or two for yourselves on your stay!
4.2 OK
Pros: The price was lowest in the region. Clean bed and bathroom. No offensive aroma in non-smoking room.
Cons: Walls dirty, furniture dirty. Cold air rushing in through door jambs. no continental.
6.8 Good
Pros: Just a basic motel room, good for a short stay at a good price.
Cons: When I first got there (around 6 pm), there was no one at the desk. A few mintures later, someone walked in the door and just stared at me. He never introduced himself or gave any indication that he worked there, then simply said, "Yeah?" To which I replied that I had a reservation. He knocked on a door and someone came out, asked for my ID and credit card and gave me a key without any conversation or instruction whatsoever.
7.1 Good
Pros: Great deal for the price-full size fridge and microwave. A little dingy but clean. Would have liked a guest services book in the room just to get an idea of what was in the area.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: It was a nice location, easy to park and had a liqueur store and dunkin donuts right next door so it was convenient.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value, quiet, good-sized room, friendly staff, excellent location. Microwave and fridge are nice extras. The entrance to the expressway to the Putnam Bridge in Hartford is just a block north.
Cons: This is an older motel that has been remodeled. The bathroom still has the original 50 year-old pink and white wall tiles, which clash with the newer floor (beige) and tub (mauve). No fan in the bathroom, but otherwise satisfactory.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had all we needed for our two day stay at the ABV Inn. Loved the interior especially the vintage bathroom.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked that the room had a microwave and refrigerator also air and heating unit. plenty of space for drawers and hanging space
Cons: even though the sheets, blanket and spread were clean, they were damaged with holes and stains and the ironing board leaned, had to keep adjusting
8.2 Excellent
Pros: They accommodated my early check in
Cons: The room smelled very bad, but they gave me a new room.

Overview Reviews
Located in Newington, Hi-View Motel is within a 15-minute drive of XL Center and Connecticut Convention Center. Free self parking is available onsite.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Hair was all over the bottom sheet...the long strands of black hair stood out the most....so I could not sleep on the sheet. KAYAK indicated that the motel had wifi, but the motel attendant at the front desk said that there was none. The toilet had been used prior my entering the room, so it was not cleaned. The TV, which was not even a flat screen TV, was old. There was a fridge in the room, and I noticed some burn marks on top of the fridge...one burn mark in particular gave the impression that a hot glass pipe had been set on top of the fridge. There was one bar of soap that seemed old...the packaging of the soap seemed to be weak and deteriorating. No small bottle of shampoo was provided. The motel sits atop a very steep hill, so be careful when you park....make sure you have your emergency brake on. This place is best suited to be rented by the hour for extracurricular activities rather than legitimate travel.

Located in Newington, Grantmoore Motor Lodge is within a 15-minute drive of XL Center and Connecticut Convention Center. Featured amenities include express check-out, a 24-hour front desk, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
2.8 Mediocre
Cons: The Grantmoore is a dirty, dangerous dump. As a middle aged tough male traveling alone I am used to rough conditions so I tend to ignore warnings, but this was too extreme for me. There was not even a nightstand for my gun so I slept with it loaded in the bed. Locks do not work, doors look like they have been forced open and bent, smell of drugs and suspicious characters everywhere, everything in the room in severe disrepair. I wouldn't even recommend it for short stays with prostitutes- I have my pride and would be ashamed to bring a prostitute there.
2.2 Mediocre
Pros: Leaving, which I did after inspecting the room.
Cons: On my first attempt, was. Given a key to a room already occupied. Shortly thereafter, was solicited by a resident prostitute. I declined. The second key opened a room reminiscent of some third world country though, frankly, a small child leaning on the door would have opened it. There was a pro forma lock, but no real deadbolt, and the gap between the door and the doorjamb would have easily allowed anyone to defeat the lock. There was dim fluorescent lighting, but even this was sufficient to reveal soiled sheets, complete with cigarette burns. Unless you're down and out, or feeling that you need to be a little more depressed, save yourself the trip.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Bed bugs, local questionable characters living there. Mysterious wet carpet, ciagrette burns on the sheets. Nasty.
