9.6 Excellent
Pros: The lodge provides all the comforts you could want for your family. Our apartment was thoughtfully designed with a living area separated by an entrance hallway from the bedrooms, two toilets, comfortable beds, and a kitchen which has all the basics you will need to prepare meals (we had friends over and utilize the fondu pot). The mounting views from the living space and balcony are stunning, especially at night when the stars come out. The hospitality was warm and breakfast buffet generous, with eggs cooked to order.
Cons: nothing could have been better!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The overall ambience of the hotel is cozy and I was overwhelmed by their hospitality and charm. There is coffee-machine in your room and teakettle as well. Washing machine and dryer are underground. Location is good, also the whole town is not so big. If you want to go Saas-fee and there is still a room available, just book it
Cons: Wellness area may stay open till half or one hour later.

Pros: Breakfast is Amazing Staff are incredible Great location and awesome views.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Easy check-in/out, polite staff, clean rooms, good value for Saas-Fee
Cons: WiFi was a bit weak in my room at the end of the corridor; hot options for breakfast would have been ideal; but that’s all
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness of the staff and Freida were outstanding. Breakfast had many options and all was delicious, especially the goat cheese from the goats of nearby Hannig. Hotel provided shuttle service from bus station was offered but we decided to walk with baggage. It's uphill and in the future will definitely use the shuttle provided. We were there in the fall and view was beautiful from our room overlooking Saas-Fee and the Mountains. The tourist pass provided free of charge was of great use to us for bus and gondola rides.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It's a lovely family hotel. I found it cosy and welcoming. The lady at the desk was really nice. Bonus I could have a sauna after a long walk. Wifi robust.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The host, Franziska! And her hospitality (my apologies if I have got the name wrong). I was pleasantly surprised to see her moving from table to table from 7 am to 10 am & checking with everyone if everything was fine. I have not seen something like this in any hotel (I have stayed in tens of Hotels in Europe). She checked with me thrice. It was so nice & welcoming. Though there was help, I could see her moving around with kettle & other things serving to everyone. She has a genuine smile. What's more, when my friend was late for breakfast (came down at 10.15 am), he was still served hot coffee & croissant. Wonderful! The breakfast spread was very nice (Muesli & Dry Fruits were very nice & so was the coffee). Had stomach full! Toiletries in the bathroom were minimalist but of good quality. A woman's thoughtful touch could be seen easily in everything. And, she can speak English, which is a big bonus for travelers like us. View from the balcony was awesome!

6.0 Good
Pros: Found a free room when I decided to stay an extra night. Great breakfast, overall cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff (Julia reception)
Cons: Refused to let me use the SPA in the afternoon on check out day Complicated and uncomfortable shuttle to ski lifts: runs every 30 min and not on demand, last ride back to hotel too early, need to walk from lift to a pickup spot in town, old bus (some cheaper hotels in the area have better service) Light always off in hallways and on the stair case, have to walk in the dark or look for a switch Sauna too dark, even impossible to see the sand clock and thermometer Somewhat dirty and messy ski room with old furniture

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, next to the bus-stop, right by the 'blue' ski piste to the valley, and close to the skilift. Very friendly staff, an excellent breakfast selection (good quality, sufficient choice), and I would recommend the half-board option (4-course fixed menu) which can be chosen on a daily basis. From here, one can ski in Saas Almagell, or using the frequent bus connections in Sass Grund/Hohsaas or Saas Fee.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hosts and great location for both skiing and hanging around the town! If there is snow, it is possible to ski till the property. Good value while skiing at Saas-Fee
Cons: The spa area was limited but great to have. Breakfast was nice, but always be improved, perhaps with more vegetable types.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Second time staying at this hotel, and I'll definitely be back in the future. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, and really make you feel welcome. The location is also great, as it is only about 100m from one of the slopes, which you can then use to quickly access the whole resort. And also the price is very good when compared with other hotels. I can definitely recommend staying here if you visit Saas-Fee!

The Dom Hotel - Saas-Fee - Building
15
9.0 Excellent (584 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The Dom Hotel is in the heart of Saas-Fee, within a 10-minute walk of Saaser Museum and Saas-Fee Ski Resort. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. A train station pick-up service is provided at no charge.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I have stayed at the Dom many times over many years and it is always consistently good.
7.5 Good
Pros: I loved the location, very close to Alpin Express and Spielboden. Also, the ski locker is perfect for all your equipment. The staff is incredibly friendly and polite, and will do anything to help you enjoy your stay. I must say that the staff was the highlight of this hotel for us. Another good aspect is the shuttle for arrival/departure from the bus terminal, or for the ski slopes. The bar downstairs is great and everything we tried was very good: the coffee, the cocktails, everything.
Cons: Our room was very, VERY dusty, and I cannot imagine why because the village is located at 1800m altitude, away from any traffic and pollution. The room must have not been cleaned and vacuumed in a long time. The sheets were not very clean either, but let’s say they were just worn from all the daily use. I read other reviews praising the breakfast, but it’s absolutely nothing remarkable about it: not too many options, and rather generic. You could have the same breakfast in any place around the world. Something more specific to Switzerland would be better in my opinion.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We always love staying at the Dom when we're in Saas-fee. Always warm and welcoming on arrival, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Not too far to walk to the AlpineOne lift and the slopes, and they have several electro-taxis so it's fairly easy to get a lift there as well. Room is spacious and comfortable, and the huge free standing bath in the Deluxe Room was a definite highlight. Centrally located, so easy to get to many nice bars and restaurants, but the ski bar and restaurant in the hotel are also definitely worth checking out, and the breakfast buffet is superb.
Cons: Be aware that because of the location the church bells can be a little loud at times, especially if your room overlooks the square, but it makes for a spectacular view!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, always willing to offer help. Great breakfast. Good position in the town. Room well appointed and comfortable.
Cons: Shower was a bit weak.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is where we stay when we go to Saas-Fee which has been once or twice a year the last 10 years. All the rooms are very nice, but our favorite room is the wellness suite with the jacuzzi in the room, our favorite splurge! Everything about the Dom is hospitality and perfection, and why we keep coming back. Saas-Fee is a beautiful area with a variety of things to do. We like the Alpine Express to the top- two cableways, then an underground funicular to a rotating restaurant at the top. Amazing mountain views and a variety of skiing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really great hotel really friendly staff The Shuttle bus service excellent really friendly aswell
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Arranged transport arround resrt
Cons: All staff very helpful
10.0 Excellent

The jacuzzi and sauna ( gown and slippers provided) are very welcome after a trip up the cable car which is free of charge with the visitors pass. Also welcome is the small bottle of red wine provided in the room ! Will be back again for the ski season.
Cons: Small bathroom, no bath, only shower.

Cons: - bathroom too small - poor breakfast
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owner of the hotel and her family are delightful and very welcoming. The evening set menu food was properly outstanding (we did half board for two nights). We loved the village (we went in July) and enjoyed a couple of great local walks. You will be given a free cable car pass for local rides if you stay 2 nights or more. Saas Fee is a nearby village which is also worth a visit...Plenty of free parking outside the hotel too!
Cons: Nope. All good!

Pros: Nice hotel in the beautiful village of Saas Almagell. Friendly hosting and warm atmosphere. Good breakfast, but especially the evening dinner was very tastefull. I also enjoyed the modern welness facilities. A correct and well organized hotel.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This was our second time in this lovely family-run hotel. Our room was big and had a nice view on the skiing slopes. Taking the half-board (breakfast + dinner) was a good choice and the food was excellent. The friendly staff made us feel very welcome.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Wellness area is almost brand new, everything is clean and well maintained. It's family run business and they are really taking care of guests. We had HB option, the food was really delicious and portions were very big. During the summer almost all cable cars and busses in the valley are free for hotel guests what really saves a lot of money.
Cons: - Dinner is served at 7PM for all guests together what takes 1.5h (5 dishes served one by one at very relaxed pace). For us it was deffinitely too late and too long. HB does not include drinks during the dinner (what is normal for HB), drinks are served at regular restaurant prices. I think that a glass of water could be served free of charge and not ruin the owner. - Wellness area is open from 2PM to 7PM, so long distance hikers may not be able to use it.
7.6 Good
Pros: The food was excellent - and always more than enough to eat. Service was also excellent and staff were very helpful. One of the party was vegetarian and this was always addressed.

Pros: The host was great and kindly agreed to changed my stay from 2 to 1 day as I made a mistake in my booking. She also acceded to my request for early breakfast at 7am as I had to leave early for Zermatt. Was really sad I didn’t have more time to stay in this lovely little town. Would love to revisit the town and hotel.
