It is well located. It wasn't clean. The elevators were full of trash. The employees in the reception were not kind. The worst part was the bathroom inside the room. The faucet wasn't working. The shower pressure was a mess.
It was close to the NO air port , ( between 5 & 10 min) but not too close that you get the noise or the higher price of being right at the air port. I would stay there again. Pillows were too small and there isn't much around in walking distance .
The staff was very professional, the room was clean and the breakfast was very generous! We really appreciated the airport shuttle service!
Staff was rude and unhelpful.
Decor and friendly staff. Wish check in could be earlier
We would certainly recommend this hotel to friends. Everyone went out of their way to make us comfortable. We had arrived way before check in time after being on a cruise. We were offered a secure place to store our luggage, they made sure our rooms were the first ones cleaned. We certainly appreciated that more than anyone knows. Drinks and snacks were offered too. This is by far one of the most accommodating hotels we have ever stayed at......kudos to the staff everything was perfect and we had a great day relaxing.....
The staff was friendly and the room was clean. I have no complaints. The price was good for such a close location to airport and various restaurants.
This hotel was our only choice for the day we were there. We simply needed a place to spend the night and did not camp out for a long time in the room. My wife found the bathroom to be sub par as well as the carpet in the room. It appeared that they had recently done some maintenance and painted and had had not scrubbed the place down properly. Don't know if it was the whole complex or just the room we were in. Livable but not up to standard.
The property was poorly kept and maintained, Discarded litter and cig.butts all over the walkways for days. Stains and 'crud' all over back of bathroom door. Requested extra pillow upon arrival and was told by the front desk clerk she didn't have a key to the linen closet. Requested again the next morning when leaving the property for the day. Upon return in evening no pillow and room was never serviced by room service. Air conditioner extremely noisey. Desk clerks acted as though quests were an inconvienience.
I was disapppointed with the breakfast, it was only cold cereal with milk, toast, apples, coffee and juice. Nothing else like bananas, bagels, hot cereal waffles.
The place is difficult to find and not clean at all. It is very close to the airport. If you don't require a decent bed and a shower, this is your place!
problems started with a surly reception clerk at check in. give a room that was not released by housekeeping. waited while it was cleaned. the place and rooms were dingy, carpets uncleaned, beat up walls and elevator. do not stay here.
I chose this hotel because it was very close to the airport. It was very pricy for the overall rating of this hotel. I have stayed in hotels way more cheaper with a better stay. The room's bathroom wasn't clean and the toilet wasn't bolted to the ground. I had an iorning board with no iorn and a water heater by my sink. The elevator wasn't working properly and it gave me an unsafe feeling. In respects to the airport distance it was very close a 3 min drive at most.
This hotel is right next door to the coolest western store. Great for last minute gifts. There's plenty of restaurants to choose from too. It's literally 5 minutes from the airport.
If you are high maintenance think of staying elsewhere. This is no frills.
Distance to airport Parking on the grass
Good service and great location No

Clean and comfortable
The hotel is clean and smells clean. The staff is very helpful. Hotel Employee was very courteous and prompt. N/a
Very quiet and peaceful The walls are very thin so I could here adjoining room guests
I thought the hotel was very good. It met all my needs.
This hotel is well located for those seeking close proximity to MSY. We had a 7 o'clock flight and the hotel shuttle took 5 minutes to get us to the airport departures for check in. The hotel is good quality, reliably Hilton. The lighting in the lobby was cold harsh white fluorescent. Felt more like a Walmart. Please warm it up!
it was clean ...the staff very friendly ...easy to check in and out we could hear a child next door after midnight when we were trying to sleep ...could use a little more water pressure
This hotel was great. I had an early morning flight, so having the shuttle service and being so close to the airport was great for me. The room was clean and the air conditioning was fabulous.
The hotel was relatively close to New Orleans French quarter. Not much amenities but good enough for a place to stay. Great value! The elevators are awkwardly placed
This was prefect for my stayover between flights, with an efficient airport shuttle and nice staff. The barman ( Darren , I think...with the red hair) was exceptional .
swimmingpool + familielife, quite unusual for an airporthotel, nice. no
Convenient location to airport & shuttle service. Staff was friendly & accommodating at the front desk & restaurant even though it was late evening! Nothing
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I was looking for something close to the Airport, and this was it. Got an exter 30 minims sleep.
Convenient and comfortable - arrived in no in the very early morning and this was very suitable to my requirements. Room comfortable and tidy and well-presented. Friendly staff. N o concerns about the hotel
Great staff, great bar and restaurant. Clean room and very comfortable bed, lots of amenities except for the WiFi. Had to pay for the WiFi. In this day and age that is ridiculous especially considering the cost per night. Also when in the bathroom you could easily hear the guests in the next room.
It was center to everything, on the street car line, and rooms were quiet and cold!!! Great place
The staff was very professional and helpful, friendly and with a very present concept of service. Good view of the city, quiet within walking distance of all the action the toilet bowl was a bit old and chipped
Awesome staff after being disenchanted by Expedia booking. Had to scramble and this was an awesome experience. Nothing!
Nice The facilities and staff are rude and not reasonable at all. They just keep saying sorry but like everyone can agree, when someone says sorry so many times they do not mean one word of it.
Our bed was so comfortable.
Great restaurant service and variety especially BF Great Wi-Fi Great price on Kayak Young female at Front Desk waited on 4 people at one time Stored luggage and kept my car for 2 hours to eat lunch after checkout better directions to second elevator which is at the end of the wall
Awesome location. Close to everything I wanted to see. No pool but it's OK. Wasn't in the hotel much anyway
Amazing location, close to everything. Walking distance to French Quarter and river walk The bed was a little too hard have me back pain.
On the Saturday night of mice day somebody was two and he berated to get into his room and was sleeping on the floor. Hotel staff person walked by as I was leaving my room and did not address the person sleeping there.
Customer service was really good. The restaurant in the hotel was awesome. This is an old hotel. The elevator is bee old and slow. In fact an employee was in the elevator with me and she had to jump up and down to get the elevator to move. The tub in the bathroom was a bit scratched up. The rooms are very small. There was old food in our fridge. The valet is a bit confusing when you first arrive. It takes 20 minutes to get your car.
The staff were wonderful, helped us and went beyond to help us. We enjoyed our trip very much! Nothing.
Location Staff was knocking on the door to ask us to leave fifteen minutes before checking out
A nice European style breakfast was served, and the WYFI worked well. For a cozy B&B the Burgundy was fine. The walk to the French Quarter would be too much for most adults but it was an easy enough drive.
Convenient location. Quant digs. Comfortable. Hot tub. Back patio area. Friendly staff. No.
Asked for nonsmoking room yet it smelled like someone had been smoking no towels were available the pool wasn't working the beds were hard. Needs alot of work starting from the front desk to the rooms
the staff was really helpful and friendly. we were only 8 miles from the superdome and the room was definetly worth the price.
The way we were treated, upon arrival, when asked "did we have reservations"? The hotel's reservation dept. had never received anything from Booking.Com and showed me the reservation computer screen as verification. But she really was great for making up for the omission. At check-in, not having a room reservation, albeit, I really had made one thru Booking.Com.
Nothing People were loud screaming all hours of the night, horns blowing all night. Music blasting, people loitering in front of the rooms. No sense of security. Neighborhood was scary at best, needed to be armed to go get a coffee. Extremely bad experience please don't let photos fool you, I'm pretty low maintenance this was by far the worst place I've ever stayed. Oh the sink in the bathroom could literally be pulled up off the base, ridiculous. Dead bugs in the tub, ect...
Friendliness of the staff N/A
I liked that it wasnt too loud, the rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful and courteous. I also liked that they are there 24 hours. We booked the hotel for a Thursday but arrived Friday morning at 5am. They let us checkin at 5 and only charged us for Friday and Satruday. Great Value and great time all around.
Staff were helpfull Floor had not been cleaned. Cigarette butts and trash on floor
we were to stay 3 nights only stayed 1 everything
the front desk folks were very helpful and personable
the bed was comfortable That I had a smoking room but no ashtray, I even called down to customer service and she said she would try to find one for us and never heard backl from her. There was a dead bug in the bath tub, plus it would be nice to have more than one small trash can in a room.
Very dirty rooms. Hado to switch rooms due to ac leaking water in the room and not working properly. I definitely won't stay here again!
Our stay here was last minute.... The rooms were immaculate as far as clean was concerned, the service was fair, and we had a quiet stay. ... though we did have some initial issues with Booking.com as my reservation confirmation didnt come in till two days after we stayed but other than that.... It was quite pleasant. My reservation on booking.com did not come through till two days after I had made it....however the girl at the desk was kind enough to accept my login onto the booking.com site as proof...
I love the set up of the room and how spacious it is.
The staff were nice and polite. That we were checked in and never told our room which was purchased as a double room / bath suite was no longer available. Instead we were put into a single room at the same cost and have had to fight and be the middle man between the hotel and kayak / orbitz to get our more than $600 back. Which honestly really didn't make up for our ruined stay cramped into a tiny room with a group. Completely changing our weekend experience for our first trip to New Orleans. We had expected to be compensated and were even told we would be. But were not and still have yet to receive our refund. ;(.
Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Stove, fridge, and microwave went unused but were appreciated. The complimentary breakfast wasn't all that special, but it got the job done
Location was perfect for the French Quarter and the art district The breakfast was horrible and not even close to the standards illustrated on the pictures of their website
Convenience, good size of room, availability of buffet breakfast, business area, the buffet breakfast is a bit limited compared to Em bassy Suites for a very similar price,
Excellent Nothing whatsoever
When we arrived the room was hot and had an odor. We assumed it was just that the unit was set on a high temperature. We lowered it and returned later to find no improvement. The gentleman that came to check tried to convince me that it was working. After I disagreed he got his laser temperature gun. It showed that the AC was not at all working. He told me "at least it's not as hot as some other rooms." After arguing with the front desk that this was not acceptable, I was moved to another hotel across the street. We had to carry our own bags across the street in the middle of the night. Terrible experience and will never go back. Do no recommend this hotel.
Overall this hotel was fantastic. The staff was as friendly and helpful as you could ask for. My husband and I were traveling with four children (ages 8,7,6, and 2) and the value was amazing. I never review anything online but the experience was so good I felt it necessary this time. The fact that there were drinks and popcorn in the lobby the entire time was awesome especially with kids. Breakfast was awesome and offered SO much more than normal hotels do. Plus the "kickback" at 5:30 was our dinner each night. I know for some it might not be their ideal dinner if they are on vacation but traveling with the kids we didn't want to have to go out and the "kickback" offered enough options for everyone to have a full meal. We don't really drink but if you add breakfast, dinner, popcorn as a snack, unlimited soft drinks, and the 3 free "alcoholic beverages" up the value was amazing. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. The rooms were clean and comfortable also. Just a great stay all around. The only complaint I had was that we had pre-paid for the room and when we got there they asked for the card we had used to book the room so they could swipe it. Then when we were checking out I went to check out and pay for the valet ($25 a day and the only option so budget for that as well) and they said it had already been charged to my card. I had no intention of paying for the valet on that card so it bothered me that they charged it and hadn't told us that they were doing it. I do believe that it was a simple misunderstanding though and not dishonest or anything.
Perfect! We moved here from another hotel down re street that was proved double and we couldn't be happier. This place is so nice, breakfast and dinner, great location, rooms and staff! Will definitely stay again.
Location Free drinks and food This was perfect for a quick night away. Location was good and staff was friendly. Paying for parking Bar closed early
My husband and I wanted a relatively close to New Orleans without much fuss. It was clean. Staff was very friendly. It was easy to get on and off I-10. We would stay again. No frills! No fuss! Perfect for us!
Room was large and had a full kitchen. Beds were comfy and staff were friendly.
The room and common areas were fantastic. I mean fantastic. What a way to celebrate birthdays and off to college. Even more spectacular was the staff -- especially the front desk personnel. Without a doubt -- TOP NOTCH. Making the personal connection Not a thing. And I mean not a thing. While the room may have needed a little TLC (guests can be very hard on a room), my goodness. This stay will be a permanent family memory. THANK YOU! We will enthusiastically recommend this property.
The room was very big. Large bathroom, seating area, and desk area. For a 4.5 star hotel, I was shocked that there were no towels in the room when we went to shower. The ice bucket was not emptied or the coffee maker. There are a lot of options in New Orleans, and I don't think this was the best bang for the buck.
Staff and size of room Not enough light in dressing/closet area or magnifying mirror in bathroom. Bed too soft and too big.
The hotel staff was amazing! They upgraded our room to a suite and went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. I was very impressed! The room was beautiful, I can't wait to stay here again! No, we loved everything about this hotel!

The property is spectacular, but what sets it apart are the wonderful staff members there. Everyone from the doorman to the maid made me feel like I was am honored guest. Highly recommend this property!!! Not a thing!
Got charged for things that previous tenants had removed from mini bar
Best stay at a hotel that I have ever had!! There was not one negative thing!
They exceeded my expectations! This is definitely one of the bed hotels I have ever stayed at! Everything was perfect!!!
Staff is friendly and attentive. ELEVATORS are a disaster. I've stayed here twice in the last 6 months and the elevators don't work. Check out time is a DISASTER....20-30 minute waits for elevator. No turn down service the first night.

Great location and room was delightfully featured. The managers reception on Wednesday was a most welcome feed with drinks. It was a jolt in the wrong direction to have breakfast from stryrofoam bowls and plates with disposable cutlery. The food was good but it really dulled the otherwise upmarket feel of the establishment to be greeted with disposables though I guess it kept the price good.
The daily breakfast was well stocked and the hotel was clean. The water pressure in the shower was pretty poor I was staying near the top floor, so it is possible it is better on the lower floors. The elevators were poorly maintained and did not run very well. When I made my reservation over 3 months ago, I requested one king bed and when I checked in, they had no king beds available and we were given a room with 2 double beds. The walls are very thin and every morning we were woken up to our neighbors talking and getting ready for their day.
The rooms were large
Our room was great! It was huge, clean and very comfortable! Staff was very friendly! Would stay there again! Great access to the French quarter!
Room comfort and amenities in the room. Water pressure/shower only no tub in room Only 2 elevators were working at one point which was awful but eventually repaired. Poor lighting near full length mirror near entry door. No light there to use mirror.
bourbon street, shopping, gambling, dinning no complaints
Great location for Mardi Gras parade watching and partying on Bourbon St. Just blocks away from Canal St. and St. Charles street car lines. 10-15min walk to the French Quarter. The room and hotel was very clean and staff friendly. The free continental breakfast was good for saving a few bucks but it's not the best. Sofa sleeper was awful, mattress was very uncomfortable! King bed was nice and big but the mattress was nothing to brag about!
rooms were spacious and well designed clean facility close to attractions the floor we stayed at did have an odd smell but the room was okay
The hotel does not look that inviting from the outside but the interior of the hotel is very modern, clean and well maintained. The hotel requires guests to use their room key to get to their rooms for added security. The customer service is excellent! I would stay in a Hampton Inn Hotel again. There wasn't anything about this hotel I did not like.
Free breakfast was served late. Requested 2 beds only got one.
The room accomidations Having to pay $40 a day to valet car with no prior notice!
It was a very nice hotel just a little far from walking anywhere. Staff was excellent.
Staff and facility was great! The complimentary breakfast buffet was amazing! Didn't have enough time to fully enjoy all of the amenities....courtyard bar, etc. would stay at the Hampton Inn again and refer friends and family. Very nice facility, well maintained and staff was pleasant and friendly.
There were a few staff who served breakfast who were really terrific They were under construction and we were not advised prior to travel. The smell of paint was irritating to my allergeries when I brought that up to the staff I was brushed off and no a accommodation was offered.
The staff was great, rooms were clean and neat. The poolside was nice clean and filtered. And the location was convenient nice view The price of valet was a lil expensive
Convenient location; friendly/helpful staff, exceptionally clean rooms; lots of room to visit in lobby. Actually, nothing!
Great location, neat charm and great breakfast. Watch out for the $40 valet upon arrival! Overpriced valet, somewhat shabby towels.
We will be back N/a
Friendly, helpful staff
Very comfortable, staff was well versed in making my stay as easy as possible.
I reserved and paid for a suite two months in advance. When I arrived I was told that the hotel overbooked and was given the only room available. When I showed the confirmation to the clerk I was told," It is not available." The hotel had been paid for a suite and I was given a standard room. The manager gave me a free parking pass and a coupon to the bar as compensation for their mistake.
The room was spacious (we chose space over views) and the beds were comfortable. Very clean and the maid service was excellent - my colleague's wallet fell out of her bag inside the room as we rushed out to dinner and the maid put it on the center of the bed so we could see it immediately when we got back. The room was quiet (on the top floor) and the location is an easy walk to the French Quarter. Tried to order room service and couldn't get through to either the number in the menu or the number on the phone (which were different). After half an hour, called the front desk and told them the issue; they said they would call the restaurant manager and have her call my room directly. That took another half an hour and then the order I got was wrong. Didn't have time to call and correct it, so I paid $35 for the wrong breakfast and went outside the hotel the rest of the trip. Should have realized when there wasn't a pre-order form to place on the door that ordering breakfast in might not be a regular routine? When checking out, I asked for a copy of the bill showing the total paid with a zero remaining balance, which I need for travel reimbursements at work. Was told I would need to get that through the booking service (I used Kayak, which I find dependable). I was able to convince the person checking me out that I needed a hotel bill that showed I do not owe any balance, but this shouldn't require so much time and explanation - don't people stay here frequently enough for business that staff understand the standard documentation process? As a frequent traveler, I haven't had this issue anywhere else with a rating above 3 stars.
restaurant room cleanliness nothing
Close to French Quarter. Very expensive for the quality of the room, our windows were facing a wall, the room was located on the third floor. The front desk had poor customer service.
The staff was great at the doubletree. We arrived about 12:15pm and check in was at 3pm, but they accomadated us right away! The bell men and valet staff were wonderful with helping the bags and calling cabs right away. The Wow cafe served great food and the customer service there was wondeful as well.Rooms were clean and comfortable.Overall if you want great customer service I recommend this hotel! When I visit New Orleans again I will definetly be staying at this hotel.
Location, beds were very comfortable, clean rooms Had no hot water in the shower and the staff was not very helpful to remedy the issue. Hallways were very noisy and it seemed like a door was always slamming. Parking was expensive (40/night)
Delay in getting towels when calling Response time was greater than 30 minutes
Loved this hotel! Wish we would've booked all 4 nights here! The only reason we stayed here Saturday night was because the Sheraton on Bourbon didn't have a room available. We had booked the Sheraton sun through weds and then decided we were going to New Orleans Saturday also. Needless to say, will stay here anytime I go to New Orleans! AWESOME hotel! Beds are very comfortable and the bathroom was huge! And this hotel is well within walking distance of the French Quarter! Staff is very friendly!
Good location. Close enough to walk to the French Quarter but far enough away to get out of the craziness and noise. Right on St. Charles streetcar line- very convenient. Very large room and bathroom. Very clean. Great bed. Good towels. Would definitely stay here again! Expensive but then it is New Orleans! Price was pretty much on par with other hotels of the same type. Huge bathroom but almost nowhere to hang towels. Another towel rack or a few more hooks would have been nice and there was plenty of room for them.
Location was convenient, it is walking distance to the French quarter. Staff was friendly, room was clean. Parking is pricey. It is across the street and it is $25 for 24hrs. Beds were really small. Bathroom was also small.
LOCATION Asked for wash rags twice. Even went down to front deak in person. Never got them.
It was close to every event I was attending that weekend. The staff was very friendly. Check-in and out was also great no long waits.
Good Location, nice room and comfortable bed. Friendly staff. I'd stay there again!
The pool is so nice! Our room was fabulous!
The room was beautiful, the staff was very helpful and alway available. I really miss not having a coffee maker in my room.
The building is beautiful and there are great bars/restaurants in the lobby. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit disappointing for a luxury hotel. Also, the spa was disappointing.
The hotel was beautiful, room was comfortable, staff was wonderful Our only complaints were that the tv didn't always work very well. It would cut out for no apparent reason and sometimes just stop working. We also felt that the movie rentals were absurdly expensive. I've never had a hotel charge $19 for almost every movie available.
