9.1 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very clean. The staff were all pleasant, professional and very helpful. The hotel is in a great location. It's a very short walk to great restaurants, shopping and Petco Park. I would definately stay here again.
Cons: Parking at the hotel was very expensive ($47 per day). The rooms were a little small for the cost of them and it would have been nice if there was a mini-fridge in them. There is also no "sundries" store, so if you want a drink or a snack there is no where to get that. We also called for room service and no one answered the phone.
6.8 Good
Pros: The room is very nice and modern. The front desk staff were very nice. The shampoo and conditioner they provide smell amazing. And the fitness center was very nice.
Cons: The glass shower in the middle of the room is just plain weird. There are not a lot of people I want to see shower. It just feels intimate in a very out-of-place kind of way. My friend and I went out for the evening and came back for an nightcap at the bar. Much to our disappointment, they did 'last call' early, so we missed out on a final drink. It feels like a new hotel needs to create some consistency if it hopes to catch on. The hotel seems very focused on the pool and making the 'pool scene' a thing. The cabanas, the artfully arranged pillows, the champagne buckets. It felt like they were trying too hard to woo locals, as opposed to cater to hotel guests. And there were a lot of staff standing around talking to each other whenever I was in the lobby or at the front desk. I often felt like I, as the guest, was interrupting their work. :)

Guests can choose from several room and suite options with features such as private balconies, cabana patios, ocean or zen water garden views, king or queen beds, separate living rooms, wet bars, chromotherapy whirlpool tubs, and walk-in rain showers. JRDN, the on-site restaurant, provides an look that is fresh, cool, clean, and upbeat. The atmosphere transforms from Cali casual in the sunny mornings to West Coast hip for a stylish, beachside evening vibe. Executive Chef David Warner directs culinary operations and, well-connected to artisan purveyors and culinary trends, he offers classic, flavorful food that creatively reflects each season. The dramatic setting sun, for which Pacific Beach is known, is celebrated every night by its own ambient reflection on the 70-foot long ‘wave wall’ at the back of the restaurant, and color-changing lighting continues the theatrical effect throughout the evening.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Really nice and clean. Great location to the beach, bars and food.
Cons: Expensive for a hotel with no fitness center and no breakfast included with the stay.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful Room, Great Staff and customer service is excellent.
Cons: Only way to park is to pay 45$ A night to valet or risk getting towed on street parking and no attached restaurant so there is no room service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice place to stay. European feel, all hotels very expensive in San Diego on weekends. Very comfortable beds, nice shower products. Loved being able to use bucycles. My room should bave darker, was told upon checout that there were privacy blinds that I never saw.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: I liked the theme of the hotel. The hotel is located in the gaslamp district which was excellent. The bed was really comfortable and they even give you individual comforters which I loved.
Cons: I didn't like the location of our room we were on the fridt floor next the the elevators and every person that was leaving the hotel with their luggage had to go by our room.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location. Clean rooms in very good condition. Friendly staff. I would definitely return to this property. Fair pricing.
Cons: No significant deficits were noted.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was super comfortable. I like the European duvet style without the bed cover that doesn't get washed. The whole hotel was styled in a very contempory, upbeat and cheeky sort of way. There were many thoughtful touches I appreciated. I had a quiet night of sleep in comfort.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here in the Gaslamp Quarter for one night because my boyfriend and I had a global entry interview in SD and decided to make a night of it. Upon check in the woman at the counter was very bubbly and helpful! She offered up cupcakes and coffee which they serve in their lobby daily. They also have a cute little coffee place in the corner. Everything is really colorful and bright with touches of pineapple decor throughout. They had yellow bikes in the front of the hotel by the valet ($38/night) that I believe they let you borrow for free- I could be wrong. We parked around the corner in the parking structure on Market and 6th. It’s $15 a day and then I think $1.25 an hour after that. The room didn’t have a great view but the bed was extraordinarily comfortable! Modern rooms and bathrooms. GREAT location. Cute sports bar right next door if you like the divey feel which being from Long Beach, we do. There are a ton of restaurants and bars all at your fingertips here. You really are in the heart of the action! We will most definitely stay here again.
Cons: Not the best view of the city and the price jumped from $140/night to $299 the next night. Prices fluctuate so no big deal. We just wanted to extend our stay and weren’t able to justify they extra $$.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Love the dog-friendliness! And so did our pug! Very quiet in spite of being downtown. Very comfortable bed - my husband who doesn’t sleep well when we’re not home said it was the best hotel sleep he’s ever had! With a new baby it’s hard for us to get going in the morning, so it was nice to have the continental breakfast - and the muffins were delicious! Also, it was really cool that there were bikes available to ride around downtown - not an option for us with our 2 month old in tow. If we were staying longer, we might have taken advantage of the available pup package, too.
Cons: Only thing I wished we had was a bath tub! We don’t have a tub at home, so I was hoping to take a bath during our stay. We were in a regular room, so I’m not sure if a suite or one of the nicer rooms might have a tub.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved how helpful the staff was. The interior design is very modern and gives you the home feeling of comforability. I would definitely pick this hotel if I were to come to San Diego again.
Cons: I was running a half marathon and had to pick up my car at 4am from valet and they took a little while to answer the phone. So that was a bit of an inconvenience.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location and design is great. The staff is nice. The rooms are comfortable.
Cons: A microwave & fridge would be nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice urban modern boutique hotel with great location. Park a block up for $15/night. Would definitely stay there again.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Upon arrival, the valet was helpful and accommodating. The building is clean and appealing and the staff are all helpful, friendly & knowledgeable! Had a great 2-night stay.
Cons: The street noise is nearly unbearable. Perhaps if they upgrade the windows it may cut down on the noise a tad.

Pros: This place was right off the beach. The area was well kept and there are plenty of food places within walking distance. The resort package fee included all of the little things tourist would like to do. From buggie boarding to bike rides, this hotel had it all! The staff was VERY friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Our room had a double bed instead of a king. We slept in both lol
10.0 Excellent
Pros: SO convenient, great location, beautiful beach and the most friendly helpful staff I've been around. we would recommend it without a doubt.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in a great position right on the ocean and the staff was great.
Cons: I didn't research the parking costs before checking in. We were charged $20 + a day. I'm not sure how that compares to other hotels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel. Perfect location. Staff was very friendly and interacted with everyone. That alone would make me stay here again. The views are amazing. Great place to just get away and relax.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This trip was one of our best experiences ever, and Pacific Terrace was central to that. Extremely friendly staff, yummy breakfast, beautiful room...this hotel had it all. I can see now why it is so highly rated. It has all the amenities you could ask for without the pretension or pricing of a resort. They only serve breakfast and have some offerings for room service, but trust me we didn't miss having a full restaurant. There is so much right outside the door if the hotel! We'll be back!
Cons: Can't think of a thing!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Really nice hotel. Comfortable rooms, a great pool, and the view was to die for. The staff was exceptionally nice (which is rare these days) and we had a fabulous time playing at the beach (thanks for the sand toys). While the hotel hallways were loud, we were very comfortable there with our kids, and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Whoever is managing this hotel and the staff...nice work. Your employees seem to genuinely like their jobs! Thank you for great vacation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is a real gem, right on the beach. The hotel exceeded my expectations in all categories. Found my new place at Pacific Beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We drove in late at night and were concerned about the area. We decided the give it a shot, learned the parking area was gated (and an added fee of $25), and had a great stay. Full beach view is recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff. Clean and the location couldn't be better.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Right on the beach, Great service.

9.1 Excellent
Pros: Nice accommodations and great ocean view.
Cons: Parking was extremely limited and very expensive. Had to call in for basic toiletries as they are available but not in room.
9.7 Excellent
Cons: Needs more food options or restaurants
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The decor was amazing throughout the hotel. The foyer/lobby was stunning along with the rooms. We stayed in the Harbor Tower on the 23rd floor. The view was spectacular. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only problem we had was with our TV to where we couldn't order movies one night. The night manager gave us a $100 credit which was very satisfactory. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: The food at the Market wasn't good. I had a turkey sandwich from the refrigerated section and the bread was very stale. My wife ordered a bagel with cream cheese and she could hardly bite into it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We immediately felt welcome as Rob at the front desk gave us information about the facility and its surroundings. He gave us a corner room near the top with spectacular views. We got two beds which is plenty of room for family of four. Inside the room there is is luxurious atmosphere with open space. There is also Keurig with Starbucks coffee. Overall clean and modern, with even electronic shades. I have stayed at plenty of upscale hotels and this is the best by far. The location is the best. I went jogging at the lovely Seaport Village right next to it. The Gaslamp Quarter is also near. Overall an excellent place and we would definitely come back!
6.2 Good
Pros: View. Room size. Location.
Cons: When I woke up in the AM i noticed my iPhone was covered in dust. I then noticed the desk with my black laptop, across from the air conditioning vent was also covered in dust particles. This is a big deal for me because I have a dust mite allergy, but still have never seen this level of dust collect just overnight. I think the air filter vents in these rooms are very very dirty and just blow dust all night as Long as the AC is running. I was extremely congested all day due to my allergy and had a hard day networking at my convention. Also, the TV service this day and age is sub-poor. No guide and some of the channels didn't work "no signal".
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was incredibly nice
Cons: Was there only one night, didn’t find anything to improve upon
9.1 Excellent

Pros: Great location, we had a beautiful view of the water and of the pool area. The pool was very nice as were the hot tubs. The room was very clean and spacious and the staff was very polite. And I did not have to wait long for an elevator.
Cons: The only issue we had was that our parking pass was note coded so we were unable to exit the garage. The staff quickly corrected it thouh.

8.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the service was good. The facility is very nice and the location is prime.
Cons: Everything was overpriced. Valet was $47 a night ($35 for self parking), the hotel charged an extra $12 for Internet service, and the room service arrived in a paper bag and plastic cups (very disappointing).
7.7 Good
Pros: Nice grounds, hotel staff very friendly.
Cons: While on vacation being woken up at 4:00 am and 6:00 am every morning due to construction work being done on the expansion of the conference center was a bit maddening. I got the impression that they were behind schedule due to the 3:30 am dumpster clean out. The services at the one and only restaurant was very poor. Complete mayhem in the understanding of the services due to poor management, Often times we would have to go look for a server to get a drink at the lounge area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: As a young couple, we have not stayed at many nice hotels. This was a very refreshing look into the "adult" world, and truly sets a precedent for what a well put together hotel looks like.
Cons: No complaints whatsoever.
6.2 Good
Cons: So frustrating that there were hidden charges. Felt ripped off
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great central location, beautiful property
5.7 Okay
Pros: The location and the view of the room
Cons: Subaverage room. The price of the room and the room itself does not match. Small beds, small bathroom, small sink area, not a luxury hotel, less than average room.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Beds were comfortable. Concierges were all great -- friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Pool was lovely, view was lovely. Nice pre-set videos for fitness classes. I did the yoga.
Cons: Balcony quite small. Restaurant nice for breakfast buffet but dinner wasn't very good.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Great gym; liked having Starbucks in hotel. Great location.
Cons: Construction site. Hallways super narrow. Bathrooms small. Will be nice to see it in a year from now
10.0 Excellent
Pros: THE ROOM WAS VERY NICE
Cons: VALET WAS A MESS
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff is great and very helpful!
Cons: Paid for an upgraded room with a view and got a room with a partial view. Just enough of a view to qualify.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Love the pool area, felt as if I where in an all-inclusive-resort. Like that the Boardwalk was just steps away. Would definitely recommend this hotel
Cons: I stayed on the South Tower, did not like the construction noise and sight of construction
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, staff, atmosphere spectacular customer service. The pool area was heavenly.
Cons: I wasn't able to stay forever.

2.0 Mediocre
Cons: I had a horrible stay, my room got flooded and had to move at 330 am. By the time I left I was so exhausted.
6.5 Good
Pros: Stayed in coronado bay view room -- nice view, and quiet/relaxing at night. Pools not crowded.
Cons: Hairy bathrobes left in closet from prior guest; multiple calls to get new robes, and dirty robes not removed (we ended up leaving them outside in the hall). Tiny/claustrophobic shower. Location is ok, but you have to drive to get to a decent beach. Probably not worth $300+/night. Will try the Del next time.
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff was very friendly! We loved the shuttle into town and to the beach, great perk! Breakfast from The Market was pretty good and came out quickly. Beds were comfortable. Every room has a balcony which is awesome! We had a couples massage at Sea Spa, I had Nancy who I highly recommend!
Cons: Our TV was broken, which they replaced and credited us a free movie. Bathroom and room in general was a little dirty; looked like something had spilled on the tv stand and wasn't cleaned, hairs in bathroom and in sink. Our view was basically of other balconies and the side parking lot, which was a bummer with paying so much to stay there. The Sea Spa area seemed a little run down. I feel it wasn't worth the money- it was more of a 3.5 star experience when I was expecting a 5 star from Loews.
8.5 Excellent
Cons: Our check in was very late
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were on out 19th wedding anniversary celebration and we wanted to get away from the city, so decided to go local. Just on the other side of the Coronado bridge we found this nice secluded resort property right on the water. When we checked in, a wonderful receptionist upgraded our room to a suite and we were literally right in front of the bay with a gorgeous view of the city and the bay. Room and the badgering were very spacious in the grand view suite. Extra large tub was very nice. Bed was super comfortable. Resort is pretty spread out, so it didn't feel crowded even in the middle of the Summer. We will bring our whole family here next time.
Cons: Breakfast buffet at Market cafe wasn't that great for $25 per person. Also $29 for self parking. For the money they charged for the room that should be included. Pool area isn't all that grand. Adequate though.

Cons: The room smells like mold. I stated 5 hours and left. Booked a hotel next door. Worst experience ever.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a wonderful expeeience from the moment we walk in to the time we left. It's a beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff.
Cons: The Spa Suite was a little plain in appearance for a luxury hotel but the therapist was excellent.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was great and service was excellent.
Cons: Very noisy on the 4th floor exterior room all night long on a weekend.. I requested a room with a view and got a view of the rundown buildingf to peo next to us and listene.

Cons: Beds were terrible and room was small
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a historic landmark located near the Gaslamp district in downtown San Diego. The location is great for shopping, site seeing, and night life. The staff of the hotel was superb! A fantastic back drop for a romantic getaway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cool vibe. Great room and decor. Easy check in.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Elegant and plush surroundings, very comfortable bed, room was lovely with great amenities even though I had a single room. Great power breakfast meal!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly and courteous. The entire stay was pleasant and we were well taken care of as guests.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The historic hotel was clean and the staff was courteous. Rooms were a fair size and had all the amenities that I would want in a luxury hotel. The lobby was comfortable for getting caught up on email (and had a great cup of coffee in the morning). As mentioned in the title, I have never had such a comfortable bed and wish I could take it home with me.
Cons: The hotel cannot control this, but the area is filled with homeless and panhandlers that made it uncomfortable to walk to the Gaslamp district or Midway museum (it's worse on 4th Street). Next time we will likely stay close to the waterfront where the problem seems to be lessened.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good, comfortable bed; historic setting; very good food in their grill: their sea bass w/ artichokes, arugula pesto and spinach cavalcati was incredible. Geat Caesar salad at lunch; good bar service; excellent Bloody Mary! Nice housekeeping staff. Helpful concierge gave me good info about getting to the San Diego Zoo.
Cons: Snooty front desk clerk: I was staying 2 nights on SPG points, an SPG Gold member. Took advantage of early check in and 4pm checkout - that was great. Front desk clerk says: "Sorry can't upgrade you at checkin." And I say, if I didn't check in until after my day's activities after 6pm, could I get an upgrade?" response: "No". So why did you even say that sh*t in the first place? Total droid. Also, downtown San Diego is a dreary place indeed. Homelessness abounds. And while there are nice restaurants within a mile, this particular stretch of Broadway isn't much...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed our stay with our 5 yr old. Very courteous staff, local amenities, and close Seaport Village and other site seeing entertainment. Now a favorite, will definitely stay again in the near future.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were big and the decor was very nice. The staff were great and the location was perfect for visiting San Diego.
Cons: The charge for parking is too high. We parked on nearby streets for a tenth of the cost.

Pros: Staff was very courteous, rooms were clean and well stocked, beds were comfortable and had clean sheets. Clise to bars and restaurants. Overall very comfortable.
Cons: Location is a bit far from the beach
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Functional and clean rooms, all amenities available. Excellent location for conferences in convention center or one of the large surrounding hotels.
Cons: As expedia costumer typically placed in one of the less favorable rooms (in this case above the pool bar, whci was used for evening and morning events with music) Pricey food and drink items in the hotel (e.g. bottled water 7$) One of the access paths for baseball games is through the hotel, hence before and after games the business center and gym are virtually unusable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love everything about this hotel! From the location, the rooms, the staff, the bar and restaurant, to the new friends I made.

Pros: Loved the location, bed, look and feel of the room, and the staff. I stayed in a water facing room with a (sort of) balcony on the 20th floor. It was a tremendous view I had a fantastic time. Couldn't possibly be closer to gas lamp district
Cons: The room was a bit small and unequipted for the price per night. No microwave or refrigerator unless you call and ask for one to be sent up which was a bit tedious. Overall only complaint I could have
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very nice. Clean hotel. Very accommodating
Cons: I got charged $42 fot valet parking. Valet parking should be free. You are already spending money in staying in that hotel why wouldn't the valet parking be included?? That's one thing I was Not happy about.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the location! The view was pretty good. Loved the room. I'm a huge fan of Aveda products and for them to have them there, was a huge plus! The friendly staff was great. Always greeting and always smiling. And the price was good. Great place to stay.
Cons: Not a big fan of $40 valet parking. I didn't like that they didn't offer smoking rooms. Also, I didn't like that you couldn't vape up stairs at their rooftop bar. Why we left to another roof top bar that did allow vaping. That was kind of a bummer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very dog friendly, friendly professional staff, comfortable spacious room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were super friendly and very accommodating! The rooms were large and I loved the aveda bath products.
Cons: I wish they provided a few complimentary bottles of water in the room. Billing was a little difficult bc I booked several rooms and the names/correct cards were switched around.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Clean, great location, nice room and a modern feel.
Cons: Valet is 41 bucks... Give me a break. Parked a block away for $15
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful, well managed and well located hotel
Cons: I did not like that when I booked it said parking was an amenity. That made it seem like it was included. It would have been helpful to know that it only offered valet parking that is $41/night. That was a big shock when we arrived and a bit upsetting it was not mentioned before we booked
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The desk staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean. Relevant and modern decor. Rooftop bar is nice with a great view into the stadium. Would stay again for sure.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The room and view we're great. Very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable, I took pictures of the label to buy the same mattress for my self.
Cons: The valet parking Was over priced at $41/day. Especially since there is a garage 3 blocks away that is only $15/per day but I had a broken ankle and had to use their valet parking. Most of the time had to wait over 20 min one day they misplaced my car after about 45 min had to go with the valet to find my car in the garage. To the hotel's credit they were very apologetic and comped my valet parking fee for my entire stay so they still have good customer service in my book.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very nice and friendly. They wanted to know where we were from and why we were there. As it turned out we told them that we were there celebrating out 44 wedding anniversary. When we got back to the room, after dinner, there was a bottle of wine and 2 lovely glasses waiting for us (compliments of the hotel). A totally nice stay. We will recommend the hotel if asked. We have already told several people what a great stay we had. The security is very good.
Cons: My wife likes to use the stairs for the exercise. They were meant to be fire escapes and exit outside and require an employ to enter from outside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room (upgrade) Great location Friendly and helpful staff Excellent upkeep
Cons: Parking is high... better to use taxi/uber
4.2 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: We booked in advance and were told that the best price was around $258.00 a night,Big Lie. On the day of the trip your site said the rate was $158.00 and the next day it said $148.00. We asked to have our rate adjusted and were told that they had no responsibility as your site collected our money and paid them. Your statement about having the "BEST DEAL" was a total lie. I will never use your service again and I will warn everyone I know about your deception. We were overcharged about a $100.00 a day and stayed at the hotel for five nights YOU OWE US $500.00.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to downtown SD.
Cons: No pool, no airport shuttle.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: I paid 42$ for valet because i didn't want to walk the 2 blocks away for self parking that cost 30$. It isn't the amount that bothered me the valet scratched my brand new 2016 highlander. None of the valets fessed up and I didn't notice until after i checked out and drove off.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Top rate friendly staff. excellent accommodations. centrally located.
Cons: the location, although centrally located was very urban and close to some what appeared to be homeless shelters. I didn't have any problems and it was fine, but I think awareness of surroundings would need to be stressed.

4.6 Okay
Pros: Lobby
Cons: The room was tiny, very uncomfortable, and lousy view. The charge for the room was ridiculous. We also had to pay $30 to park her car.,,
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service is outstanding. Every team member at every level cannot do enough for you. The grounds are beautiful overlooking the Pacific Ocean. All shops and restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel.
Cons: There is nothing about this hotel that you will not like!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Facility - historic landmark
Cons: Food service was a bit slow
5.0 Okay
Pros: The pool is very nice and most of the staff are friendly.
Cons: They didn't answer their main telephone number, at all, in the days leading up to my arrival. They also do a poor job of warning guests that July 4 fireworks cannot be viewed from the hotel unless you are in a private reserved area. Missing much of the fireworks while exploring the hotel for a non-exclusive vantage point was, needless to say, a bummer. Housekeeping was marginal: some room service items weren't removed, shampoo/toiletries weren't replenished, and drain in shower was clogged with sand upon arrival.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: He best western had a beautiful view of the marina and the room was very clean. We traveled with a one year old and they provided a crib. There is a playground across the street which was great. This is in a perfect location. Isolated from noise and congestion so you can enjoy the peace and beauty of the marina. It is close to gas lamp, pacific/ocean beach, and sunset cliffs. Will stay there again the next time we come!
Cons: Don't expect early check in. When they say check in is at 4, it's at 4. But at least the location is in a great area so you can go eat or go walk around Belmont park
10.0 Excellent

Cons: further than I thought from downtown but still great location $10 to park car
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were upgraded from a double queen to a junior suite that was very large. Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, frig, m/w, toaster, utensils and dishes, dining table w/ 4 chairs, 2 other chairs and a desk w/chair. It was in the Casa del Mar building. Lovely walking path along the harbor, exercise room (with tv, but make sure it's plugged in. I didn't catch that the first time I tried) and pools (didn't use). Did not eat in the restaurant as we have family in San Diego where we ate. It's in a good location for us. Some streets in San Diego change names at intersections you might not expect them to, so review a good street map before you set out. Airport very close by, but wasn't bothered by jet noise - maybe they just go over my daughter's house. :-)
Cons: Bathroom fan quite loud, but it was never on for very long. We were on the street side so our view from the patio was bushes and cars. We weren't there to sit on the patio and if I wanted to see the sailboats all I had to do was walk to the marina side. No breakfast included, but with family in the area that was o.k. plus there are plenty of other choces for breakfast if you don't want to eat at the hotel.
6.8 Good
Pros: Nice clean location with great view of the marina.
Cons: Had trouble sleeping and relaxing with poor sound proofing. We could clearly hear the people speaking in the room next to us with very little privacy. The entry door to our room also had a large gap at the floor which let in light and sound.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent Location San Diego Bay across street and boat marina on the other side of hotel.

Pros: The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The view was nice.
Cons: The beds were hard and my back had a negative reaction to it.

Pros: The staff was friendly, the views are great... try to get a second floor water front even if it’s a bit more price wise. Beds are comfortable, lots of pillows. The room we stayed in had a king sized bed, had a mini fridge and a microwave. We would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Pros: good distance to SD downtown, Torrey Pines Reserve and several beaches; also a gigantic outdoor mall across the street Breakfast & Happy Hour were very nice (included in room rate) Clean hotel & room
Cons: traffic in immediate area gets very congested during rush hour $30 for daily parking is steep!
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Free cocktail hour & breakfast = awesome
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The lobby is beautiful with Koi ponds and waterfalls. The front desk staff was super nice and accommodating, which was fantastic. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Room service was delicious and fast, and the staff that delivered it was so friendly! The complimentary breakfast was awesome as well, with made to order omelettes and such. There was also a free happy hour, which made it very easy to stay at the hotel to enjoy dinner and drinks.
Cons: The bathroom. While it was clean, it was just "eh". For the price of our stay, I expected a bit more. It had a standard tub, with a standard shower head, that did have a few settings. It would have been nice to have a larger tub, or a jetted tub, with a removable shower head. It also seemed that the room above us was not carpeted, so we were able to hear luggage rolling around up there occasionally.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff were friendly and the complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails were great.
Cons: The second day of our stay there was no maid service for our room. It was a disappointment.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: I love the embassy suites, awesome breakfast, and happy hour.
Cons: Downsides are parking is $30, which is ludicrous, and you have to pay for WiFi, it’s 2018, that should be included for free
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Our kids were told they can't hang out outside their room without grownups but that is so nonsense! Kids can be independent!
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is good. Nice, quiet, clean rooms. Comfortable beds
Cons: Parking should be included in rate - especially for self park.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Great for families, rooms are big enough for 4
Cons: Carpet is old and not that great housekeeping

Pros: I really liked coming back to the room st night and finding the lights dimmed, the bed turned down and nice relaxing misic playing. This was a very nice touch
Cons: The hotel had a musty smell that was unappealing. The concierge and some of the people at the front desk were not very friendly/helpful when I asked about place to get a good fish taco and hoe to get to old down. Made me feel like I was shaking silly questions and bother.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, good location, etc.
Cons: Balcony is not too big. Take one step out and that's all you got....other than that, cool hotel to stay. Not hip, but cool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful since we didn't know our way around San Diego. The room was very comfortable and beautiful. We would stay there again.
Cons: There were add on charges.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect, service was exceptional. David, who was on the front desk when we arrived, was outstanding. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants and other activities in the hotel and the surrounding area. Housekeeping was outstanding, with turndown, chocolates, And room set up with lighting and mood music upon return at the end of our days out. Concierge was very helpful with information and ticketing for tours. Great pool area on third story patio deck. One of the best hotel experiences we have had! We recommend it highly.
Cons: Street Car noise on the side of the building where our room was located.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very classy, beautifully appointed hotel. Staff helpful, polite and wanted our stay to be as comfortable as possible. Our room was lovely and the turn down service was appreciated - especially the music playing and the low lighting when we returned in the evening. I agree the C street side of building a bit noisy, but would not deter me from staying there again when we are in San Diego. The valet was very prompt to deliver our car and 2 young men helped us with our luggage. We had room service breakfast.. Very, very good...Thank you for a lovely stay...

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Elegant hotel!
Cons: The hotel restaurant needs to improve their overall quality for such prices.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The customer services was great. The hotel was beautiful and well maintained.
Cons: My room was a little be dusty, which affected my allergies. However, the dust was manageable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Check-in was efficient & friendly. Great wifi. Excellent pool.
Cons: This time our room faced C Street - very noisy. Previous stay we faced 3rd Street - much quieter.
6.0 Good
Pros: As mentioned, the location is excellent for walking around Little Italy and the Gaslamp district. The staff are friendly and helpful. I like the showers as they are quite spacious and can function as a mini-tub. Overall it was a clean and comfortable environment.
Cons: The room was aligned with the light rail. Every time a train left the adjacent station, the conductor tested the horn. It was too much noise for the hotel not to give us a heads up. Two stars for this "oversight".
6.5 Good
Pros: comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Kind and friendly staff, prompt response with broken thermostat. Kind and courteous repair workers.
Cons: There was a few (2) pieces of trash on my bed when I got there (a piece of tissue and a cap to a water bottle). The thermostat dial was broken and I immediately had to call for a repair. My room was directly over train tracks that ran ALL NIGHT LONG!

Pros: I liked everything. Great location right in the middle of the Gaslamp Quarter, friendly and helpful staff, downstairs bar, clean and spacious room, nice decor, free wifi, and the mobile check in via text was a cool feature.
Cons: $40 valet is the only parking option offered by the hotel, and although I didn't have a problem with the service, a discount for hotel guests would be nice

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was so clean and beautiful.
Cons: Cost was a bit much. Nickeled and dined you for everything you did
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our upgraded ocean view room.
Cons: The jacuzzi was about 85 degrees which was about 1 degree warmer than the pool. This was a huge disappointment since it was cold the day we were there. It really limited the things we would comfortably do with 3 little ones with it being cold.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: nothing
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, super kid friendly with all sorts of activities. Great pool and service too! Sunday buffet was one of the best I've had.
Cons: We stayed in the ocean towers which does not look like the other buildings and is a tad outdated with a CD player. Our refrigerator had to be fixed and at one point the hot water stopped working. I'll go back but stay in the main building next time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Always a great staff, beautiful room, all of the history of the Del, and romantic atmosphere.
7.4 Good
Pros: Great near the beach and restaurants
Cons: The toilet leaked and flushed all the time we were there, night time it was really annoying. Also, the automatic light feature in the bathroom kept going on throughout the night probably 20 times! Very thin walls and ceiling. Definitely not worth the money, but as a one time stay over.
7.7 Good
Pros: History, activities, beachfront, atmosphere, beautiful, well kept, friendly helpful staff, lots of shops restaurants and bars within the hotel, walking distance to everything in Coronado.
Cons: Expensive. The Del is a super cool historic hotel but it costs an arm and a leg to stay there and you dont get a lot of bang for your buck. The rooms are basic, nothing special. They offer lots of activities but nothing is included, everything costs extra and nothing is reasonably priced. Also there was construction going on during our stay the ocean isnt quite as peaceful with heavy equipment operating all day.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was outstanding.
Cons: The room wasn't very clean - dusty baseboards and window blinds. It was also pretty loud, with door-slamming making sleep elusive.
7.4 Good
Pros: The main building is charming, decadent and very unique. You'd be hard pressed to find another beachside resort like the Del
Cons: The towers are the opposite: not charming, cheaply built and the polar opposite of the Victorian main. Also, everything was twice the price includes the brunch.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building, tons of history with a location that is second to none! Great places to eat and lounge all within steps of one of the most beautiful beaches in America! Incredible staff, always makes you feel welcome and at home.
Cons: Cramped room with “quirky” bathroom, although, some may find it charming. Bed was uncomfortable as it seemed we were sleeping on a decline, we turned around and slept in the opposite direction. I’m sure they would have assisted but it wasn’t a huge issue to just deal with it so we did. Wallpaper was peeling in some parts and just overall looked like it needed some updating. Expectations were VERY high as it has always been a dream to stay here, although I’ve spent nights in hotels of all ranges, this was one we expected to be a bit more up to its price per night standard.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: We have always wanted to stay here for a romantic getaway
Cons: We had to wait for our room
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location and great food!
Cons: We paid for an ocean view and they stuck us on the second floor where our view was the back wall of the pool bathroom and a giant tree. Could barely see the ocean at all.
