Pros: We ate in the restaurant and it was completely top notch! We also were given a private palace tour that was personal and fascinating! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating! We will visit again!
Cons: Everything was perfect!
Pros: I liked the obvious pride in the history of the Schloss, and the way the modern hotel had been melded with the old. All was very well kept. We were given a tour of the old Schloss and it was fascinating, with original moulded ceilings and contents. The food in the restaurant was also very good.

Cons: Nothing really, good clean rooms, very good food for the evening meals. Perfect location for us, or those that are just looking for a comfortable overnight stop prior to their onward journey/travel
Pros: Booking.com did not have a three bedroom available for booking. We booked 2 separate rooms. When we checked in, we learned that our room had an adjoined small bedroom that we could use. Pros: We were warmly welcomed by Wilhelm who spoke great English. Although we arrived after the kitchen had closed he made the effort to get us a couple of adult beverages! Breakfast was typical European and included a soft boiled egg. Everything was fresh and the breads were amazing! An added plus is that the town is very quaint. We walked a bit and explored the 300 year old church that has an amazing pipe organ!

Pros: Very nice small family hotel in a charming rural environment. Extremely quite, with nice nature surrounding the little village. Lot of birds, from small singing larks to big storks. And just 30 min to the wonderful cities of Bamberg and Nürnberg
Pros: Everything. We have used this accommodation many times on route to Austria and Italy. Good simple food. Close to the autobahn. Good value for money.
Cons: No check in until 5pm. Otherwise everything was perfect.
Pros: Breakfast was good
Cons: Churchbells ring all night. Very dated rooms. Very german style. Not clean, spiders on the walls.
Pros: A nice comfortable typical German Gasthaus. Old fashioned, but in a good way - I suspect it's still family owned and run. How a lot of gasthauses were about 20 years ago. Sadly a disappearing breed.
Pros: good quality guest house close to motorway
Cons: 2 young children (guests) running around in the restaurant
Pros: Very authetic olde world guest house. Host was very welcoming and accommodating. We were traveling with a 2 and 4 year old and they catered for us no problem. Dinner was lovely as was their own beer! Would definitely recommend and if I am passing that way again I shall definitely stay again.

Pros: Very Friendly Hosts in a nice family environment My room (nr25) was comfortable, spacey and with big windows (It was wintertime so I did not use the terrace) The restaurant downstairs served a nice choice of excellent German food
Pros: This is a gem of a place if you want to escape the countryside and away from Motorways (but not far) Very comfortable, much bigger place than you would think. Restaurant food and drinks very good and very reasonable . Lovely staff. I was only there for a one night stop over to Croatia but certainly a nice place to stay for 1 or 2 nights if you enjoy walking or cycling

Pros: Quiet surrounding, great bkfst
Pros: Very tasty breakfast and the kind hostess even provided one of us with gluten free and lacto free breakfast in the morning even though we asked for it on very short notice late at night.

Cons: There was nothing.
Pros: Wonderful breakfast, attentive and caring host
Pros: The room was very comfortable, balcony great, the breakfast was very very good, I have never eaten such a good cooked egg... Really
Cons: I can say nothing
Pros: Facility was nice - beautiful view from the balcony. Restaurant was convenient and provided delicious meals.
Cons: Wish we had a refrigerator.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Rooms are ok sizewise, but the furniture and fixtures are from the 1970's. So are the towels and bedding. It would have been fine for half the price. Not much like a hotel, more like a youth hostel.
Cons: Old towels, old bedding, shower was hot-cold, hot-cold. WiFi is a free public WiFi from the State of Bavaria and signal reception was super crappy. No LTE/4G in the village.
Cons: To much noise from other rooms and Church Bell every half Hour all Night No wifi connection in rooms Only cold water in shower
Pros: we stayed here as a stop after some traffic jams. we looked for a green area to go running. just at the square we found some arrows indicating a trail. also some restaurants, bakery, supermarket close.
Cons: the hotel was maybe a bit expensive for what we received. 62 euro for an overnight without breakfast, old towels, no soap or shampoo, no cold water and really weird construction to get in to the shower.
Pros: People are very friendly. Pets friendly. There is a green place close where we could walk with our pet.
Pros: Very friendly people, very clean room and restaurant.
Cons: The towel are very very old. The TV screen is really small, only one basket for trash in room. The breakfast is very poor in variety. The price is not according to the quality of service and room
Situated in the pretty town of Schlüsselfeld, this hotel in the Steigerwald reserve offers excellent motorway connections and ample opportunities for rest and recreation. Pros: Good location. Close to highway. Big rooms.
Cons: too cold. heater in the room is not enough power, as too small and not hot.
Pros: The reception!
Cons: The room was so-so cold!
Pros: The hotel is really close to the highway. Very easy to get there.
Cons: Everything was very old and very sober. No painting on the wall, no information on the bedsidetable. The tablecloth was dirty from days before. It must have been a nice hotel, long time ago.
Pros: Old hotel with no air conditioning run by 2 women. very simple furnishings. bed was OK but very low to the ground in the old German style. full size restaurant and some tables outside. easy to find. close to the highway. Almost a mile walk into the village. breakfast buffet was basic but good.
Cons: When we went to check out, she gave us a receipt for E140. Then she took it back and changed it to E150 because (she said) we had used booking.com and had a TV in our room (which we didn't use). The E150 was what we had been quoted on-line. This was disappointing as we were not informed we would be charged extra for a TV. We would have booked a different room. Can you explain why that happened? Also, at checkout, the credit card machine didn't work so we had to pay cash. It was ok for us but 2 other couples had to go downtown to an ATM and come back.
Pros: The staff was really kind
Cons: They spoke only german. It wasn't clean. The bathroom was tiny. The breakfast is a joke.
Pros: Location (not far away from highway), ambiente (hotel is in a village, view into field & trees)
Cons: Almost everything was below the average and any expectation: room was large, that´s great BUT: no air condition, no TV and no WIFI (internet). The whole room was old style, 70ies. The bathroom was a disaster - shower head was "kaputt", no ordinary light in the bathroom (impossible to shave under given light conditions...), the toilet was old, but ok, but the "flush system" was too noise and we hear in the evening flush system of other toilets too, which was quite awkward.
Pros: Traveling to austria we decided to book an hotel halfway, just to sleep on a tight budget. This place was amazing. It seems to be A popular stop during the 70’s and 80’s and after that started to slowly fade away. Once you step into it you expect people in salmon pink blouses and dresse to show up starry g to dance on the also amazing early eighties dancefloor. In a time like this when the eighties are everywhere this place should be packed, instead we were the only room booked. Save on money and relive your childhood if you’re around forty; have a stay here. Staff and breakfast were excellent also.
