The staff was extremely professional and the hotel is truly a five star with the most breathtaking views of the sea. The food is well prepared and tastes devine.
The staff were incredibly courteous and helpful. The lifts were not working most of the time and created frustration. I walked up 17 floors on 5 occasions. Two lifts for 18 floors is really a bad design.
This a lovely hotel with fabulous views over the bay at Port Elizabeth - the staff are very courteous - the restaurant is also excellent The only downside was the strength of the wind - it's not called the Windy City for nothing
Secure,free parking. Nice area in town. Clean,comfortable room. Good, tasty food. Nice service and very pleasant staff. Long wait for one lift (as the other one was being repaired) or we were asked to use the trade lift (through the kitchen). In restaurant the air conditioning was slighly too cold.

I moved to this hotel after a very bad experience at another 4* hotel in Port Elizabeth the night before. Everything at the Radisson were miles better than at the hotel I stayed at the night before: the staff of the Radisson were all very professional, the service outstanding and the hotel itself beautiful. Breakfast was perfect. My room was quiet and very nicely decorated, with a view over the beach that is hard to beat.

The hotel has first class facilities and our room was superb with exceptional sea views. The restaurant was also good. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. There are only two lifts which can be a little frustrating.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The furnishings etc were quite tasteful, and well thought out. Not enough lounge space for residents to use. On Xmas day we could not use the pool area, as it had been commandeered by the restaurant, which left us high & dry
Nothing stood out at all as being particularly exceptional. A run of the mill hotel that served a purpose but I would not recommennd it to anyone. Layout of the bathroom (open plan) was not good as it should in my view be separate from the bedroom. Hot breakfast items (sausages, bacon etc.) were luke warm despite being first into the dining room at 0630. By the time I had sat down to eat them they were cold.

A kind of ok hotel. Nothing to report exceptionally good or bad. a good spot to stop overnight Very difficult to find the hotel. Either you have a gps or a very detailed map. Without those you'd better ask detailed info by phone
Excellent service from the staff and management. My girlfriend uses crutches to get around and the service accorded was simply superb.Will definately come back

The Guesthouse is located just 15 minutes from the airport, far enough out of the city to enjoy the tranquility. It is literally a stone's throw from a beautiful long sandy beach, and the Nelson Mandela Bay lights in the background. In terms of facilities this is excellent as usual. Small touches like home-made biscuits, a map of places in the area to visit etc are very useful. Finally the water in the shower was instantly hot, not sure how you did it, but - fabulous. The bathroom floor was so scupulously clean I almost slipped a couple of times.
The friendly staff.... The hotel has two addresses for a Cape Townian it was difficult to find and understand? Why you have to book in at one and go to another. Wrong address on, should be mentioned in the booking confirmation.

Nice hotel in a quiet area, near a beautiful beach, if you want to be near the town it is not ideal as public transport is not good and taxis can add up. if you have your own car it is great. Room was ok for the price and they do have different standards, beautiful beach on the doorstep

The hotel is ideally located for visiting P.E. and only a short walk from the main Promenade and Boardwalk area. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpfull. Acually thought the breakfast price was expensive.
Our booking (of the same afternoon) hadn't come through so we were unexpected guests. However, the receptionist took care of that. The food we ordered through room service was good. The only reason to stay in this hotel was the convenience of the position, not too complicate to find as we were traveling on the N2. As it turned out it wasn't as convenient because it was quite a bit off the highway. Breakfast was not included which made the price too high.

Cleanliness and the manner in which I was made to be welcome, from arrival to departure.The honesty of staff. Left an expensive cell phone behind and was informed of it very quickly and it has been recovered. It was so easy for it to have found a new owner. No mirror close to a seated position and plugs for hair drier and shaver completely useless. Maybe the lack of a desk mirror would alleviate the problem.
Room Service menue was an availability nightmare with 75% of what was offered out of stock, beds were horrible, showers were tiny....
I didn't have a problem with the hotel, however the booking I made through booking.com was a bit of a messup as they were expecting me to leave every day, and every day I had to tell them I in fact was booked in for 3 nights! Very frustrating, but didn't ruin the holiday.
On arrival at reception the receptionist could not find any record of my booking even after showing her our confirmation print out from booking.com
The room was very big, comfortable and clean. A very good restaurant.

Everything besides the internet access at the hotel was great - The system you have in place for guests to hook up to the internet is terrible - we had a problem - and it seemed there was no one able to help us except after hours.
It is near the beach The fact that they made us going all the way to the bank to get proof of payment while they could just have requested it in advance.
I booked a room with view on the lagoon.i received confirmation from you.and I got a room on the commercial gallery.the guy at the reception did nothing for us? No discount and no room change

Very convenient location in a nice part of PE. Secure, off-street parking; tasteful room decor. As discussed with owners, the scarcity of cupboard space was an issue. Understand the re-furbishment of the room may not have been completed at the time.

Proximity to the beach, the pleasant swimming pool and the restaurant was good. Directions: One needs to stay on the R102 for almost 6 km before it becomes Russell St., This needs to be clarified.

Comfortable room. Good location, next to the aquarium and close to the beach. Short drive to the boardwalk. Good breakfast selection. Slow internet which kept failing - not very helpful, especially when charged by time spent. At the time of our stay there was a large party of youngsters who were very noisy.

The cleanliness of the whole place and the friendliness of the staff. Our room was right outside the reception area and was a bit noisy at times with the doorbell ringing and phone, and people walking, but it did not make our stay unpleasant.

Everything was fine. Impersonal. Good breakfast. All ok. On the booking . com form it said that internet was free in the Hotel - it wasn't - you have to pay for MB's used.Clean and satisfactory.

I booked 2 nights. but I could not be there as scheduled, so I aksed 1 day before the checkin day and asked how much should I pay if I cancel 1 day. I was replied clearly 150Rand in total. I thought that it is acceptable and resonable so I cancelled 1 day. the total charge when I check in is 750(for 1 night)+ 150 (cancel fee)=900. The stuff there told me that that's everything of my room. I found out when I back to my country, actually when I reserver the room the hotel had chared me 600 by me credit card already. I wrote email and asking this, their reply is, according to the poicy of the booking.com, it is right, and in the same time, they said the stuff who I talked to when I was there had made a make up already. the making up is(continu Give me the free internet which will at the price of 100 rand at most. my question is: 1, the reply when I want to cancell is incorrert, why do this? 2, how can they make up me by 100 Rand of internet, for the 600 rand of payment which is not suppose to be, the most imporatnt ,without notice during my stay?
The lady at the reception desk had no way of giving directions from the N2 in PE. This was very frustrating as it was late and we were lost based on her directions and she had no way of speaking on the phone. She had no idea of how to direct us from the N2. Suggest that the directions be in a wriiten format on the website instead of the map provided which does not direct one from the N2.
