Pros: Staff very helpful and pleasant. Leisurely walk into town.
Cons: Bar and food a little expensive
Pros: Staff Service
Cons: The heating wasn't on in all of the hotel so our room was very cold and it was the same sitting in the bar.
Pros: We liked the outside gardens and the bar/restaurant area was a very relaxed environment.
Cons: It was a very old hotel. The swimming pool/leisure area was very detached from the hotel. You could hear through the walls. Also, the kids meals were very over priced.
Pros: good location,relaxing environment
Cons: It is becoming dated and showing signs of age except for front of house/foyer area
Pros: The room was clean, and the hotel had immaculate gardens.
Cons: The spa area is very dated and the jacuzzi smelt very bad. make sure you take your own swim hat and towel to avoid extra costs. The internet costs 1 euro per 8 min, which is a little steep. I felt the whole hotel experience was designed to extract more money from you. Also who ever decided that ironing board in cupboards were a good idea, have you tried using an ironing borad in a cupboard whilst ironing??? The hotel is very dated exept the reception area. You get what you pay for.
Pros: Friendliness of staff
Pros: Breakfast room staff were helpful
Cons: Hotel was quite dingy and rundown looking
Pros: The Hotel was very welcoming. Staff were very friendly. The evening meal in the Brosna Restaurant was very good. Location was lovely with its gardens and proximity to the Brosna river/weir.
Cons: No - although I felt that the viewing area/cafe overlooking the pool was somewhat dull and uninviting . It seemed that the Hotel needed some "freshening up" in places
Pros: Facilities were good, with the pool and the leisure centre on site.
Pros: the service was good, food was of an average standard and reasonably priced. Bar prices were not extorionanite, nice surrondings.
Cons: some of the decor was a little dated. No facilities for smokers.
