Well decorated rooms and good swimming pool very poor service - food was basic and not as ordered, long delays for food, no heating in rooms or communal areas, no facilites as promised - no hammam, games equipment, no transfers - we ended up carrying our suitcases across muddy fields for 20 minutes to reach the road to catch a bus to Marrakech.
peace and quiet no
Clean Rooms, friendly staff, great view all around from our suit, Free Full breakfast, reasonable authentic Berber / Moroccan Meals. Ect... Enternet/ Wifi Not available or not operational
Upgraded to king with balcony. Above the town so great views and very quiet. Food was Moroccan and very well prepared. Assisted to get a hiking guide with a picnic lunch. You should call 20 minutes before you get to Imlil so the hotel can send down a donkey for luggage. It is a 15 minute walk uphill to get to the hotel. The price you pay for the views.
Amazing views, very friendly staff, excellent food. Hotel is located on the hill , slightly outside the village which quarantees peace and quiet. Accomodation is comfortable. Some rooms have only shared facilities. Worth emailing the hotel in advance if you want to make sure you will have en suite facility. Owner can also arrange a transfer from Marrakech airport. If you drive from Agadir prepare for 7-8 hours journey. We had a great time and left really relaxed.
Staff were very helpful and location was excellent
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was delightful and the views from the terrace were spectacular. The staff were great, and we enjoyed really delicious food too!
Warm welcome to a beautiful place. Delicious dinner at a reasonable price. Great possibilities to enjoy the mountains. Good advice, guidance, rent of mountain gear available. Internet inclusive. Surely a highlight of any trip to Morocco ! The last few kilometers to Imlil might be a little rough on your car in winter.
V helpful and friendly staff. This hotel is simple but great value for money. Wonderful home cooked food. The owner Mohammed was extremely helpful in organising a tailor made trip for us to the desert and the price was actually cheaper than all the other tour companies we contacted.
dar adrar is surrounded by beautiful mountaneous scenery. A perfect place for tranquility. I would most definately go thrre again. Never seen anything like it before. Just beautiful. it was a perfect getaway
Comfortable, central, friendly, will certainly recommend this raid.
The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We arrived and in the dark. They had a guide waiting in the carpark in the village of Imlil for us which is just as well as we would never have found it on our own. Within 45mins of arriving, they had whipped up a simple but delicious soup and tagine meal for us. The hotel was exceptional value for money but it would have been nice to have a top and bottom sheet on the bed. Also, the path up to the hotel could do with a bit of attention as it also seems to double as drain.
Excellent tajine cooked in the evening. Towels could be larger.
The food was basic but served with much hospitality. The manager Hassan was quick to provide what ever was requested. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful The quality of the fabric and furnishings did not match the website pictures and I thought it very expensive for what we got. I have stayed in better backpacker hotels and our Riad in Marrakech was more luxurious and much cheaper.
Beautifuk area. Great staff, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble
Very friendly people and excellent food. Transfer from Marrakesch was well organized by the hotel. Nice view into the mountains. Facilities of nearby Kasbah could be used too, free of charge. Hiking tour was very good with a local guide.
We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and comfort of the riad after long days of walking in the Atlas Mtns, the meals were excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. The shower water was only tepid towards the end of the day but that was only a minor irritation.
The hotel was peacful and relaxing with very attentive staff. It was a great respite from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech and a good place to hide from over zealous shop keepers in Imlil itself. A good location to take yourself off on walks and have a relaxing place to head back to after a day walking in the mountains. TV in the room was broken - not that we wanted to watch it, but if it doesn't work, take it out!
