All rooms are really nice. Washing machine is a great extra (it was free).
In the kitchen I have found only one large pot, and cleaniness there is also an issue...
Use of kitchen with free tea and coffee plus fridg to keep food. Handy to get to on Skytrain from airport and into town.Metro station about 7 min. walk. Nearby shopping centre with food outlets.
Not very interesting area.No bars anywhere near.
had own bathroom was a plus, clean, in good neighborhood, had tea, I will go back there if I had another trip to there, never see property owner but it didn't brother me, easy access to mall and station
dog was barking but I was up 4am so no big deal for me
Nice house, nice neighbourhood. Near to Sky train/Canada line and to the supermarket. Great location. Private bathroom. They let me stay until 3p.m.
My room was dirty. There was a dust all over. And the bathroom wasn't clean.
No human interaction
Oakridge Mall Station House is an utterly unique way to pay a leisure or business visit to Vancouver, Canada. It is a premium apartment-style property that is steps from such destinations as Queen Elizabeth Park and the Bloedel Conservatory. Roughly half of an hour’s drive to the city center, it is tucked within a very walkable neighborhood placing travelers moments from premium restaurants and cafes as well as any service that might be needed. American Business College is less than three miles away and the Granville Island Public Market is also close by. The Vancouver International Airport is a 15-minute car trip from the hotel, too.
More of a private home than a hotel, it offers visitors modern facilities and attentive services. Free parking nearby makes it easy to come and go as needed, and all visitors have free use of the large and modern kitchen, the outdoor spaces that include a large and private garden, and the laundry facilities. There is a large and comfortable lounge just off of the kitchen area and a formal dining suite, too.
There are only seven rooms in the hotel, and each has climate controls, a private bath, garden views, a work desk, premium linens, free Wi-Fi, and some have patios or terraces. The beds range from twins to doubles, and all of the rooms have sound systems, but no televisions.
For travelers eager to find a home away from home during a visit of any length, the Oakridge Mall Station House offers a great location in a quiet, residential spot just minutes from the heart of the city.
