This is one of the best run, friendliest locations in all of Reno. N/A
Rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. The location of the hotel is great, just off the freeway and next to a gas station and some restaurants. The room itself was spacious with a large bathroom (I booked a single king bed room and it was like a small 1br apartment inside). I really only needed a place to sleep while I'm in Reno, so I wasn't really expecting much. The only improvement they can make is to get quieter air conditioning units, since there was one right next to the bed and it can get loud at night.
This hotel was what I expected of a Hilton. It was easy to access from the freeway. I fell safe in the hotel and neighborhood. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Used the refrigerator but not the microwave but glad it was there if we needed it. The shower head was mounted too high. Not a big issue but I'm shorter than most people and to adjust the spray I'd have to balance on the side of the tub. Doesn't seem safe to me. Many hotels do this. So this to limited to This Hilton.
I have been staying here for almost 18 months regularly as part of my projects in Reno. I have also stayed at some of the Casino properties in the area. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate Jeff Peason's staff here. They just treat me like family.
The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, are the very best and the friendliest I've ever experienced. Everyone was willingly to help and always with a smile upon their faces! The facility and rooms were top rated as well as extremely beautiful and clean. Recommended to anyone at anytime!
Breakfast 2nd day was not very appetizing
Nice non-smoking facilities, clean comfortable room,, super staff, easy parking and a great breakfast. N/A
Customer service was terrible.
Very friendly and courteous staff, cleanliness, complimentary breakfast, ease of check in and parking
Courteous and helpful staff, great Continental breakfast
Clean and great breakfast Very noisy. Young children running the hallways and banging on doors in evening. Lots of noise on floor above too. Three times kids knocked on our door- twice they ran away when it was opened. Once they said sorry, wrong room.
Stayed here last minute for a baseball tournament. Our friends had stayed night before so we requested to be near them. We were two doors down. Kids hot tubbed after a game and several hours climbing. We bought dinner at a noodle house a couple blocks away. A very pleasant stay. No complimentary breakfast.
Booked through Kayak and hotel would not honor check in time. We only needed hotel for layover so those 2 hours made all the difference. Hotel clerk was rude and unwilling to answer questions about paying extra for an early check in. When we attempted to cancel booking, were told that refund had to be issued 72 hours before. We were out $100+ because Westin won't honor printed check in time. Avoid.
Next to airport You can hear anything and everything from people in rooms next to or above you. We had people being very loud for almost 3 hours in the night time that kept waking our 7 month old baby. Not fun.
Food in restaurant was good for hotel restaurant. people at front desk were very pleasant, very. Poor heater control, had to call front desk. Told the controls on wall does not work unless you go over to wall and hit the knee high switch on , wait 10 minutes and the heat may go on. may get too hot if you do not adjust. What year is this that I can not turn the heat on on a cool nite when I am very tired??? Needless to say stayed cold. Noisy fan also.
Lots of comfy pillows. Beds were good. We didn't get a chance to use, but facilities looked really nice. Shower was small, water pressure weak, and temperature not stable.
The facility was very nice and we had no problems. Was close to the airport. I did not like having the charge go through on my credit card before I even left for my trip.
Close to airport Burned out light bulbs in room that were not changed. Air conditioner very noisy.
It was clean and quiet and upgrades are being done. A small store in the hotel would have been good to have.
Super helpful front desk. Quick check in and out. Yay for the shuttle guy!
Close proximity to the location of the event I was in town for FILTHY! splatter on the walls dirty baseboards goo on the walls in the bathroom cigarette burns in the carpet (reserved a non-smoking room) and bathroom counter found a cigarette butt on the rug as you enter the bathroom dirty floor in the bathroom the smell of cigarette smoke and pot filled the room the AC was noisy and rattled
NICE CASINO, COMFY CHAIRS, MANY CHOICES TO EAT. EASY CHECK-IN AND OUT, BELLHOP SERVICE AND VALET SERVICE GREAT. OUR ROOM SEEMED OVER CROWDED, AND NEEDED SOME REPAIRS TO ITEMS IN THE ROOM. TURNED IN A NOTE WITH THE LIST OF ITEMS WHEN WE CHECKED OUT.
the clean rooms the cold and snow
It was a room for the night. Rude front desk staff, smokey, dated decor, not cool. Won't stay here again.
The room is very spacious, comfortable bed and quiet room. we've booked three rooms and overall my whole family really enjoy the stay. upon check out, the FD associate there's a restaurant charge in one of our room. obviously, we never dine in or call room service during our stay. with family of us, we leave early in the hotel and coming late at night to sleep and rest. I hope this wrong charges will not despite my future stay. Thanks.
I LOVED the staff. From the time I checked in, I felt welcomed. I loved the room...very luxurious, great value. I called down to the front desk for many things at different times and every shift had fabulous people. Even the ladies at the cafe have great service. I will absolutely come back and bring my family! Thank you very much!
Close to where I needed to be for a friend's wedding The non-smoking rooms smelled like smoke, had to air them out for a day with the window open to get the smoke out. The front desk was generally slow, the sheets had holes in them and were not tucked in well.
We used and appreciated the clean and complete health facility. We thought it would be closer to the river for walking but it was a drive.
Resturant 's and Terrance lounge had a very nice setting. Service was very friendly and helpfull. Cocktails were perfect. Pool was open already at 6am and was very nice to enjoy. Rooms were a bit outdated. Bath-tap faucet became loose and we could not use the shower when we needed it. ( long drive from las Vegas through Dead Valley) Room repair came and fixed the faucet prompt.
The room was clean and comfortable. The spa massages were great. Some of the food was actually pretty good, but not awesome. It took forever to get to our room, and it felt like we were heading to the wrong side of the tracks in a run down area. Make sure you understand where your room will be. If you don't care about run down common areas and rooms next to the dumpsters, then book without abandon, but never having been there, I didn't realize it could be so unappealing. The room was actually just fine and clean, but it took forever to walk there. Spend a little more to stay closer in. Otherwise, smokey casino, and typical good. Not unexpected.
Cleanliness friendly staff Slow wifi ended up turning it off and using the data from my own plan why pay for an upgrade when I already pay for a phone plan?
Didn't win any money Our first room was not the one I registered for. Then they cleared it up. but it took a couple of hours.
Very nice, we really enjoyed our stay
Great, clean room. Quiet, with plenty of parking
Staff was so nice and pleasant. Had a small business feel, the way it was run, the whole staff knew the happenings of the hotel. We had a lot of space in our hotel room and bathroom, mini kitchen. Very reasonable price for a one night stay.
Location was good for the purpose of my trip. Check-in was disorganized, floor smelled like smoke, room was outdated and dingy, stairwell had dirt tracked throughout and was never cleaned during our 3 night stay.
staff was nice and helpful facility was old and kind of dirty. bed was not very comfortable
Breakfast This Hotel falsely accused me of smoking in my room and charged my card for $150 smoking. I had to dispute the charge with my bank to get my money back!
The non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes giving me a headache, carpet was dirty and stained, shower was either scorching hot, or super cold, you couldn't regulate the water's temperature.
Room was attractive, well-appointed, quiet. Bed was comfortable. Check-in was friendly, smooth, and helpful. Lobby breakfast was good, although tables needed more frequent cleaning as guests turned over. Entry to building where rooms are is uninviting, with dirt and stains making a bad first impression. I found myself hoping the room would not be like the hallway - which it wasn't, to my relief.
It was ok. It was ok.
the shuttle option was wonderful & we used it several times to get around the city. Breakfast was good, pool was good-- for the money, we got a lot of value wireless internet was not reliable
Pleasant staff, hot showers, an e.xcellent breakfast room was small for 2 adults
The hotel doesn't exist and your site took my money... The phone number goes to a different hotel which did not have our reservation and any other quality in didn't have our info either. Very angry and dissapointed. Had to pay for another hotel.
Beds were very comfortable, and the refrigerator/microwave combo in the room was very welcome. Great flat-panel TV including cable stations. The hotel was fully booked, and parking was inadequate to handle the number of cars; guests had to find on-street parking on the streets around the hotel.
close to the airport and free shuttle your internet does not work. It is annoying and misleading to advertise that you have free wireless and then it is impossible to connect. I spent a lot of time trying to connect. The airport's luckily worked so i could take care of my urgent matters.
The room was clean. one of the beds was not stable on the frame.
There isn't enough characters allowed for me to describe this hotel. Yelp it
This was our third stay at the Atlantis, using only the hotel, no gambling. We have found the hotel to be consistently clean, comfortable, well equipped and easy to check in and out. The beds are especially comfortable, and the room blacks out nicely for a later sleep. We found that the three times we had breakfast in the Purple Parrot, that the food was consistently well prepared and well served. We love the place. The only criticism is the ever present cigarette smoke. Though not very apparent in the hotel room, it is strong in the lobby due to the proximity with the gambling facilities. In the Purple Parrot, where we ate breakfast, it was noticeable, but not enough to spoil the enjoyment of the wholesome food served. We would stay there again if passing through Reno. Cigarette smoke, but we understand the nature of a Casino business. Thank goodness the hotel room and breakfast restaurant were substancially smoke free.
We are travelers from Hawaii arriving very late in the middle of the night. What a pleasure it was to find such a welcoming staff to receive us. Every interaction that we had was a joy. Management is doing a terrific job of hiring the best staff. We will most definitely think of Atlantis whenever we are in Reno. Everything was wonderful – the room and cleanliness was top notch.
Comfort The bed was fantastic--one of the best I've slept in at a hotel. The rooms are kept very clean and the housekeeping staff are great. Location -Upside The location is very convenient and makes access to surrounding events and venues a short walk. Family Friendly Non-smoking and non-gaming make this a unique hotel perfect for families. The climbing walls (indoor and outdoor) looked like a lot of fun and I would have tried them had I not been so busy. Cramped and slow The elevators are slow and malfunctioned several times during my stay. The entry felt as though I was sneaking in the back door of a night club. There was no convenience store and all of the public areas felt cramped. Location - Downside The convenient location can be a bad thing as my last night found me trying to sleep with a rock concert going on in the street literally under my window. Admittedly, though, I did try to go to bed early and the music was over by 10:30. Internet Deficiency The W-Fi was horrible. It was spotty and required accepting of the terms every time it reconnected. The Wi-Fi that's free with your stay was slower than my cell phone and the broadband we paid for in hosting a conference wasn't much faster. *What's worse, that broadband was down for two of the three days of our conference.* That was a whole lot of money down the tubes.
The room and bed were comfy I like everything pritty much
Location Small corridors in entrance area, no casino
This hotel is a gem in the middle of the desert. The location is fantastic, within walking distance from many attractions. The rooms were private and relatively noise-canceling. The only time we heard our neighbors was when they would let the doors slam. The absolute best part about the hotel is that the entire venue is smoke-free and non-gaming. Check out was a breeze, and valet had our car ready before we made it down from our room. Overnight valet parking was a bit expensive, especially for those who do not require in and out privileges. Vegetarian options in regards to room service were very limited, but it wouldn't keep us from coming back.
Reno is usually about dingy hotel rooms inside of casinos. This hotel was the first time we had ever seen anything different, and it was really nicely done. The renovation was high end and nicely done, from the public spaces to the individual rooms. The staff was also super friendly. There were two drawbacks. One was the parking. The garage was really gross, with garbage everywhere and even an abandoned car. The garage entrance is far from the hotel entrance. The garage has an attendant hiding in a room so it's as though the garage is unattended and anyone off the street can go in there. And on top of all that the hotel doesn't validate parking. It's just a random downtown garage that isn't part of the hotel and doesn't feel very safe. The other drawback was that everything in the hotel closes early so if you want to do anything other than sleep you might have to go to the casinos anyway.
Place was clean looked modern. The only Thing was the location it was in the heart of Reno but had a few pan handlers approach me. However I think that's just how Reno is now in general
Smoke free, non-casino Slow elevator; no service elevator
Location, good service and cleanliness. Non smoking a plus. Good size room. The finish line to a marathon was right outside the hotel and someone was using a loud speaker at 7AM IN THE MORNING to announce runners crossing and getting the crowd riled up. Then police on a motorcycle proceeded to use their sirens as the runners were getting getting close and finishing. Went on foe more than an hour. That was awful. Had I known I would have stayed somewhere else. Did not get the sleep and rest I was looking for Sunday morning because of the marathon. It was awful.
Decor, room & staff were amazing. The hotel has a very active-lifestyle, current, relevant, green, boutique vibe. Very hippster yet unpretentious and comfortable. We will say here everytime we are in Reno. It is also right in the heart of the casino strip if that's your thing and the river district. Hotel restaurant has a great vibe but we had dinner elsewhere. Excited to eat at the restaurant, we were disappointed to be told there was a wait for the kitchen to catch up even though half the restaurant was empty. We don't terribly mind a wait but were further surprised that we were not offered an empty table for a drink or two. No pagers or method of contact were available to let us know when they could seat us, which made the situation a bit more ackward. We finally made the decision to eat elsewhere, at Campo and were so glad we did. Excellent food & service!
Coffer maker in the room was nice...personal Keurig Breakfast was bad and one morning there was no hot food.
Friendly awesome staff - from checkin, to restaurant on site, to valet. Clean and beautiful hotel. Look forward to coming back to Reno.
The entire place was incredibly clean! Thank goodness for a Non-Casino based Hotel in Reno! Finally a place we can stay without all the noise and awful smoke! Nothing worse for a non smoker than waking up sick in the morning from all the smoke you had to wade through; or worse the smoke that seeps into your room. We will definitely be back, see you soon! Parts of the surrounding blocks are a bit shady looking. BUT it appears to be improving.
Free airport shuttle, speedy early check in with no hassle. Decent pool and hot tub. Easy access to casino, restaurants and salon. Terrible nachos from pool bar. Clogged tub. Remote control needed new batteries. And they charged an overnight resort fee despite that I didn't stay the night.
I liked the cleanliness. My room was very open and comfortable. I didnt feel claustrophobic. I also liked that its connected to the circus circus hotels Arcade! THE MAN AT THE LOBBY/FRONT DESK THAT GAVE US OUR ROOM WAS JUST AWESOME!! Very nice and welcoming!! I didnt like that i felt rushed at the cafe everytime i ate there. (The cafe in silver legacy next to the eldorado.) i felt rushed and the waiters would walk away before i finished talking. The young men at the valet that worked MONDAY AT 12:46AM was a bit rude and i felt a bit worried leaving my car to his care. The security at the entrance of the room towers were all very nice and welcoming.
A large variety of restaurants to choose from. Connected to surrounding casinos.
I loved the room very clean and comfortable. Service was great and friendly. Very great experience. Highly recommend staying at this hotel. The location is great and has very many places to eat and shop. I love the fact that this hotel is connected to others so you don't have to go outside. Looking forward to my next stay at silver legacy. There wasn't anything that I didn't like
Front desk was awesome, very friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in needed vacuuming.
Location was convenient. The Silver Legacy, the El Dorado, and Circus Circus are joined so you can walk between without going to street level. Lots of selection for food. Friends who booked directly with the hotel were upgraded while those who didn't were not. My bed was firm as a rock on the peasant levels of the tower and my shoulder is still hurting from sleeping on the bed. My entire room could fit inside the bathroom of the other travelers. The room didn't have a fridge and was mediocre for the price.
Great view!! Sketch people in the casinos later in the evenings
The rooms No buffet
Nice, clean rooms, fast check-in, complimentary champagne while waiting to check-in, good restaurants. Machines were tight, not paying out enough to keep me interested.
Everything was great
While the hotel was otherwise pleasant... I had about $3,000 worth of belongings stolen from my car during daylight hours. When filing a report with hotel security, it became clear that their job was not to assist me but to protect the hotel, as the first words out of each of their mouths were, "The hotel isn't liable for your stuff." Security also refused to show or provide me the security video from the parking lot, although supposedly shared with the police. A shame they can't keep their own parking lot secure.
Everything was great, good hotel, excellant location. Should be a mini fridge in every room I had a small ice chest with that I always bring on vacations so I just kept refilling with hotel ice machine to keep my food cold.
the rooms were nice, clean. the staff was every friendly overall a nice hotel. if you are looking for just a hotel. Karl the bar tender was great! the web site shows a casino and restaurants. the only place to eat there was a Johnny rockets. the a/c hardly worked and was every loud.water pressure was really weak.
I loved the restaurant inside, good food. I liked the swimming pool and how it looked inside. The staff that cleaned the rooms were nice. I didn't like the small rooms, for the price. Bathroom was small. The slot machines weren't good. Inside the gambling area, not enough action. The server that was bringing drinks on the gambling floor, was not friendly at all. They need to bring better slot machines and entertainment to get more people in there. Seems more business like and not a kid friendly place. Alot of people working there, didn't seem happy. Could be due to the rumor they're getting bought out next year.
The hotel room was cleaner than the rest of the property. The hotel is in the process of becoming a No Smoking and No Gaming property. Which for me is a huge plus Hotel under renovation as it is converted to Renaissance. Had trouble finding hotel due to lack of signage. Air Conditioner unit is in room with no thermostat control Mattress was extremely uncomfortable Rooms were not well insulated for noise. Noise in the corridor all night long.
* Very nice inside * Extremely clean * Smallest king room that I have ever stayed in (even among boutique hotels) * Hot tub was not working, despite being brand new - I came to Reno for Tough Mudder and that was one of my main reasons for staying there was to come back and soak in a nice new hot tub
Good value for money Noisy rooms
Nice river view room, clean No mention the property is distressed financially, spa, pool and restaurants are closed for "renovations". Not a lick of construction activity could be observed. Front desk at check in, shared the casino " closed last year" and will not reopen when the property is rebadged in 2016-17. Other guests were equally mislead and frequently mentioned their opinion of the deception when
Friendly staff. Accomodated us with our request for early check in for free. There was a hair in the towel. Casino was closed for renovation.
I liked that parking was "free"(although they charge you a hotel fee so i guess it isn't really) and the rooms had a refridgerator already in them. There was a convenience store close by. The hotel was quiet and not as busy as the casinos down town. It wasn't downtown. I thought the walk would be a little shorter but due to the construction sometimes it took a little longer. Also, there was no casino for gambling.
Bed was big enough. Bathroom was spacious. looks pretty on the outside & lobby. Self parking is huge. Affordable pricing. Pillow was too soft. Shower head was old, water pressure was too soft. There was no vent in the bathroom & couldn't lock the door. Not enough outlets to plug near nightstand & speaker dock was only for iPhone 4, needs to be upgraded. Casino was closed.
I booked a room at this hotel for one night december 26th 2015 I showed up late at 5:00 pm due to bad traffic The staff told me the room was not ready with very rude attitude. I asked when would it be ready . The female staff returned with " i dont know " in a very rude way I was not happy with her reply. What did it mean by i dont know. I should be ready for us to check in at 3:00 pm. However, the thing i got frustrated was the attitude from the unfriendly female staff :). I got to my room eventually. There was no towels . What the heck? It took another hour for us to get towels. :). I asled for the rollaway bed twice. It never came. I would never return to this hotel again. Stay away from it. Or else it may ruin your vacation/holiday spirit
Staff put us in a room that wreaked of smoke. Called front office 3 times to get a new room, no response. Angry, I called again to complain, Front Desk hung up on me because "I was raising my voice". Front Desk then called back, like they were doing me a favor, and with lots of attitude, and said they found a new room. A half hour later we had a new room that was smaller, without the two Queen beds we paid for, but didn't smell of smoke. One elevator had a key reader that didn't work, so we couldn't get to our room unless we used the other elevator. Before staying here, I would share a sidewalk with a homeless person and sleep on the ground.
Stayed out late on New Year's Eve. Woke up the next morning and there were no pillowcases on the pillows that we were sleeping on in the bed. Also the inside of the shower was not cleaned the glass was not wipe down. Ran the thermostat on 80° and it never got hotter than 70° in the room it was cold. And very low water pressure in the shower, impossible for two people to take a shower at the same time.
When I called the front desk to request checking out at 1pm, she said $20 extra charge plus tax and repeated for a few times emotionless. Most time this hotel's rate per night is about $20.
The room was clean and large. Decoration was relatively new. The hotel had a lot of entertainment facilities including cinema, arcade playground, restaurants, and casino. Staff was friendly and prompt. Our reservation asked for "grand view" and we got it (other options are "quiet room", "easy access", and something else). It was next to Walmart. The beds were too soft for us so we didn't sleep well. There were no microwave and refrigerator in the room (only available in Summit suites). Bath tub drain ran slowly.
I liked that there are many options for the kids to have fun. The arcade, bowling alley, movie theater, pool, sand volleyball court, etc. There are plenty of options to get something to eat and drink. The room was very spacious and great view of the pool area. There really isn't a need to leave the hotel. Wal-mart is across the street. Not as many shady looking folks that are plentiful in the downtown / Virginia St. area. Not really a gambler but lots of space between machines. Sportsbook area has a big screen with plenty of little screens surrounding a nice sized dance floor in the middle of it. Overall, we had a good stay and I would definitely come back. Elements buffet was closed. In our room #567, the carpet felt dirty, there was no fan in the bathroom, the shower head was at chest level (I'm 6'4") and no microwave. There was a fridge but we didn't use it. The back parking lot near the golf driving range seems to be a hangout for local teens/ young adults. Also transient looking people coming and going from RV park. Many potholes in the parking lot and parking space lines need to be redone.
The whole place N/A
Our second room was nice and what we expected. The hotel made it right, but it took 3 calls, two maintenance calls, and a room move. During the hottest week of the year, our room stayed at a toasty 75 degrees and we had no sleep for the first two nights. Also, the buffet was overpriced and not very good. Very disappointed!
Nothing Terrible customer service, oversold hotel, we were left looking for a different hotel at midnight with our 3 kids!
The hotel smelt of smoke Our room smelt of vomit The furnishing were outdated and old There was no fridge in the room
When we checked in during the night the male person in the front desk was not frowning but not also smiling. Being in the hospitality business I would expect at least a smile. He just told me that two queen beds are in the room without even asking is that okay (I chose a king sized bed and a sofa bed when I signed up). Didn't argue anymore since I just want to hit the bed.
Large casino, lots of places to eat and things to do. Can literally stay there and not leave for anything. Lots of slot machines, tables. Wasn't very clean, room smelled like smoke even though non smoking room. There was hair in the shower and bathroom that was not ours. The room was just generally rundown.
easy check in, and out, valet is great on this trip, the food at the buffet needs inprovement
the rooms were very clean. Breakfast at the Grand Café was great- huge portions and good food. The kitchen was kind enough to make mac and cheese for my 3 year old at breakfast. The buffet is being remodeled and the Saturday prime rib/seafood was temporarily housed in a downstairs conference room. It was a huge disappointment. The selection was poor, some of the food had been sitting aging for some time.
The rooms were good. The bathroom sink did not drain well. We have almost 800.00 of charges that are not ours. Luggage was misplaced by bell desk. Will not stay their again. Staff is too busy to help.
The people; staff were courteous, and even joyful.. Carpets in corridors were worn and dirty - 14th floor. In general, the property seemed a bit dated.
Every single thing...!!! Food, fun, full of great people & full of peace...!!! You can have everything together...
No self parking after circling around the lot several times. Finally called the front desk and wa advised to self park at a valet spot. Sold out night and did not get 2 double beds as charged by kayak.com. A group of friends had to squeeze in king size bed (in 2 rooms) and slept on the dirty carpeted floor. Canceled 3rd room booked with 2 beds because it was unavailable. Horrible experience!
Light from hall visible under the door and not conducive for sleeping. Large space under the door also allowed for transmission of sounds as guests came and went through the halls throughout the night.
Very good location! Easy to find foods and activities. Tv was not able to turn on. We made call after calls to front desk & service center. Then, we waited over 5 hours before someone showed up past midnight. All they said was sorry.
There was plenty of things to do The staff was not familiar and didnt want to hornor their total rewards program. They failed even in trying to help with the problem and didnt attempt to educate themselces from other employees
Great Location Great Staff Shuttle to and from Airport - Edwin is Awesome! My bed made me itch. Not sure if it was detergent, bugs... I slept on top of the covers. The shower drain drained slowly.
The buffet voucher and compensation for spoiled food mini fridge not on properly fitness area closed had purchased swim attire spent more money than expected on food n shower was spilling water out of tub onto floor wsd Everything
If you are going to Reno to play some slots maybe some table games or keno Harrah's is just fine a little small compared to some of the surrounding Casinos and a little outdated feeling but there was enough games to keep us occupied. But if you are going to Reno to bet on sports then Harrah's is not the casino you would want to visit. Their sports book area is small old with small T.V.s and no sound there is limited seating and no wait staff for eating or drinking, the areas that have larger screens and better seating are kept shut down most of the time and when they are open there was no wait staff.
Room was clean, comfortable, smoke-free by floor a big plus. Staff at check-in were helpful and friendly. Hash House a-go-go had awesome chicken and waffles! Table games were not open Sunday night. Entire casino area smelled of smoke
Nothing. Had to get smoking room.
Nice price room was great and we did not have any other guess making loud noises. Love the steak house
Hotel is always very clean and well maintained. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Quiet, safe, CLEAN, Excellent value!!!
Price since we were here on business and had no desire to stay at one of the casinos. Friendly helpful staff. Air conditioner didn't get quite cold enough. One very stained chair next to the desk sort of ruined the overall feeling of the otherwise nice and comfortable room for the price.
Toilet not flushing properly, bed broken on one side.
Customer service, dirty rooms, smoke filled lobby,
1. Ease of access 2. Convenient parking 3. Close to Downtown action 4. Close to freeway on ramps 5. I was upgraded upon arrival 6. The coffee shop ladies/staff were sweet 1. Hotel located next to train tracks, train whistle sounded nearly every hour - all night long like an alarm clock. 2. Bathroom fan sounded like a vacuum cleaner. It automatically came on with the lights so, no way to turn it off. 3. It appeared like a high crime rate area. 4. Casino was smoky and dirty, very undesirable. 5. TV remote only partially worked, couldn't watch movies. Maintenance was too busy to fix.
The front desk person gave me a room on an upper level floor when I requested it due to a late check in and even though place was sold out. The room was fine. Basic two bedroom. Wireless worked. This was a multi-unit hotel with cheap rates - it worked for me when in town to go door to door during election season Lobby and rest of hotel smells of cigarette smoke bc smoking allowed in the casino. Casino diner food pretty basic. Great for feeling like you get to see some local action.
I booked this through booking.com. When I made the booking, it says no credit card required. So I booked it without my credit card. When I arrived, the staff said that my reservation was cancelled and all rooms are booked. The reason the room was cancelled was my credit card was declined. I have never provided my credit card and somehow it got my credit card and charged it. And it didn't go through so it canceled my reservation, without any phone call, text, or email. So I to book another hotel at the last minute. There are 5 things they did wrong: 1. Got my credit from booking.com which I didn't intended to provide; 2. Ran through my credit card without my permission; 3. My credit card got declined so they cancelled my reservation and let others book the room; 4. Didn't notify me until I arrived at 11:00 pm; 5. Had a very rude attitude. Absolutely say no to this hotel.
Tv's are way outdated. Time for a change.
The location is a good deal for the location to downtown. The room was very clean and the floor was spotless. The hair dryer didn't work.
The concierge was very friendly and helpful, she put us in a lower floor at my request, and she called the room after we got our stuff in to make sure it was ok. There were a lot of shady looking people hanging around the entrance and parking lot. The room was VERY outdated.
Nothing The carpets, the air quality in the room, stuffy corridors.
The rooms were clean and very comfortable housekeeping was friendly and nice I did not like the casino to much cigarette smoke and the people that go there are not people I would invite home for dinner
I'm still alive, my car was not stolen. I had an expensive car and felt it's not a safe place to park my car for the night, nor it was clean enough inside. Best Western (just 20 bucks more expensive) in the same area is much better. La Quinta (same price) also felt better, although not as good as Best Western.
Nice view of the city lights at night. Easy access to parking. Quick hot water. The room was relatively large and had a comfortable couch and coffee table. Smoky smell in lobby made my eyes water. The floor we were on was non-smoking but smelled of smoke just the same. The TV was an old CRT type and the remote for it didn't work. The room was difficult to cool down to a nice sleeping temperature even though it was very cold outside. The pillows were small too soft to give any support.
Simple, good people Signs to location of front desk not placed very logically
My husband and I got the room for a good price . 100 a night rather that 275 at the peppercorn. It was a small casino but very charming. I had so much fun at the roulette table. Comic Convention and and Am Way Seminar were held the same wwekend so it was a little crowded but comfortable. The rooms a bit outdated like the reat of the hotel. You can see what your infor just by parking and looking at the outside of thw building. If you dont mind missing out on the luxury by a long shot.... Its a good deal for the money. The tooms are clean and comfortable.
Affordable prices at certain dates.
This was a smoking hotel. We couldn't get away from the smell, even in my room. The review said this was a 4 star hotel. I travel for a living and I wouldn't give this hotel more then a 1 star. Panels were missing or failing off the walls exposing wires. The carpets were stained and the furniture was in bad condition. I am very angery that we were mislead.
Very happy stay at dirt cheap prices. Clean and quiet room. No hassles at all. I'd stay again.
Room was nice. Staff stinks. Bad attitude about everything. Buffet was terrible, not what was advertised.
Staff was amazingly friendly, helpful and quick through high volume guest check-in. Smoke even on non-smoking floor, loud and not very clean.
afree a dreadful prolonged check in experience. We received a $25 food comp and a room with a balcony. The room was comfortable but in dyer need of a renovation. We arrived on the evening of check in and they did not honor our getaroom.com reservation. After 3 hours of trying to resolve this we had to find other accommodations for that night. Front desk manager was rude and unhelpful. We had only one washcloth and sparce on other towels
One problem was that the bathtub was plugged and would not drain.
Given what housekeeping had to work with; they do make effort to keep common areas tidy. Staff ambivalent & abrupt poor food quality choices on site antiquated facility with obvious wear over the decades not maintained rocking aged elevators
Convenient location in downtown Reno with good parking and cheap rooms. Although I requested and was given a non-smoking room, the smell of smoke and other ghastly odors were more than I could bear. After checking into my original room, I moved to another, but stayed only one night of my three day planned stay.
Thankfully there was non smoking room but whole place made me ill from smoke. The bed was comfortable. Cigarettes everywhere. But I guess that's a Nevada thing.
A bit peeved when booking to find the resort fee and special tourist tax added 505 more to the low price. This was more than made up for by the fact we got $20 off dinner there and using gambling credits we also turned that into $18 of cash back, so we did end up with a great deal on the room - just passing through for one night it made an excellent stay. We also used their excellent fitness center the next morning before leaving. The rooms are well supplied. plush bedding for great sleep , excellent internet plus great service and helpful employees all around. In the end I was very happy with the choice of Atlantis for an overnight, passing through stay. resort fees and special local tourist taxes
Easy place to stay.
Napa Bistro happy hour. Great beds and linens. Nice rooms. 3rd party reservations were wrong. I had to contact them to get it corrected. Took 1 hour. Didn't win, even a little.
The rooms were very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. The cigarette, smoke I had a non smoking room which was nice but as soon as I walked out, the hall was filled with smoke stink! If they had smoking and non smoking floors it would be better.
Rooms were very nice and updated, facility was clean and lots of great restaurants available. The Casino smoke stayed downstairs in the casino. The Napa Bistro was an excellent choice for dinner and the Sauvignon Blanc for $10 a glass was amazing! The Purple Parrot restaurant gave me indigestion from the French toast (which I had to send back from all the black charred flakes covered all over my toast from the flat griddle). The air quality needs improvement. My nose and throat were congested, scratchy, and irritated from the smoke in the casino downstairs.
The cleanest casino I have stayed at in Reno. The non-smoking room had no smoke smell at all which was very nice. The casino itself was also very well ventilated and the smoke wasn't too bad. The Atlantis as a whole was very clean and I will be staying here again.
The price was right, the room was clean and comfortable. Use the fitness room each day it's well set up and stocked. And the pool is great to hang out and read a book even though I wasn't swimming. I enjoyed this specialty pillow I slept on so much I called after I got home to find out more about it so I could buy one for myself. The staff never returned my call
The staff was terrific. The food we had was excellent. The room was accommodating. The facility is average. 4 stars seems high for the amenities, but it appears to be one of the best Reno has. If you don't have anything at the convention center, you are not walking distance from the downtown or riverwalk. The pool and hottub area, indoor and out are questionable.
It was very clean and all the staff was very friendly and accommodating There is no night life for young travelers and the drinks where mostly flavoring and not alcohol
food great steak house wonderful help in casino ask were something was I was told not my area can not help u, Had a machine stop up after I won and it took 45 min for atten.
Very comfortable bed. We loved how ypu had specialty pillows and late check out very clean bathroom. Room service should have desserts on the food list to make a romantic stay more romantic. Bed skirt had stain on it and some of the pillows looked like they needed update. Along with one of the pillow cases smelled like someone had slept on it for a day or two and it smelled like cologne on one side as well. So that was nasty.
Excellent rooms, gym, Internet, value. Buffets and happy hour at Napa bistro Smoke smell in hallways. Resort fee was more than advertised on kayak. Front desk didn't know of $10 free play that was part of purchased room package.
