The facility was well-located for our visit to Waconia and the facilitiy was generally well maintained, the beds were comfortable but..... On check-in we found small live bugs crawling in the sink and the bath counter. We were able to kill them ourselves -didn't see them return- but only stayed one night. The shower nozzle was fixed and could not be adjusted and sprayed water everywhere except where needed. The in-room coffee was not very good (weak tasting) and I expected the lobby coffee would be better but was disappointed there as well.
Friendly staff with great amenities and very clean
It was quite, comfortable No. Literally mins from downtown Waconia.. Exactly what I was looking for.
The front desk lady was very helpful for all of our needs. She tried her best to correct all of the errors we encountered. The keys did not work each day we were there. We had to call to get assistance as there was no one at the front desk. The room did not get cleaned, bed made, or towels replaced with clean ones. The cleaning lady made the mistake. We got clean towels.
Rooms were disgusting, dirty, aged beyond what i would expect as acceptable. We booked 2 double queen rooms a well in advance and upon arrival they only had one available, they put us in a king suite to accommodate then charged us more upon checkout.
Continental breakfast Old, outdated
The rooms are a comfortable size with plenty of power options for your electronics. Free wifi that works quite. The breakfast buffet is nice and much better than any continental outputting you might get elsewhere. Luckily the location is also great, there are plenty of shopping options within a miles drive but not outside your window.
The housekeeping staff deserve KUDOs for their work ethic and price in providing a clean room, and comfortable atmosphere. We have stayed at much higher end hotels with far lower standards. The American Work Ethic is alive and well at this LaQuinta Inn. Can't think of a thing.
Green Space around the hotel large trees in the yard open space. Nice to stay at a hotel that the grounds are more than paved parking lot. High school cross-country teams overwhelmed the breakfast bar morning that were staying prior to their meet.
Appeared to be a new facility, nestled in a nice clump of woods with a natural pond visited by geese and wildlife. Yet a major shopping center was unobtrusively located just across the street. Just five minutes from downtown Minneapolis. Clean in every respect. A nice pool. And very pet friendly. Our small dog was welcomed, with no extra fees.
Very comfortable bed, friendly staff
The room was very nice, rich decor & very clean. The king bed was very comfortable. The whole hotel was very nice.
Clean room, friendly personnel and the best location
Close to where we were going; accommodating No refrigerator in room
I enjoyed the peaceful aspect of this hotel, its location was quiet and beautiful, yet very convenient
I have stayed at this hotel several times and found it to be clean, comfortable and reasonably priced.
Classy. Clean and comfortable. Safe.
Very friendly staff
The super friendly, helpful staff, the room and breakfast. :-)We loved everything and would definitely stay there again. Dislike is tough, but we were not crazy about the coffee. I know - 1st world problems.
I travel frequently for business and through trial and error I have come to the conclusion that Holiday Inn Express hotels are the best overall experience for a business or recreational traveller. The rooms are always clean, updated with the best amenities, high quality beds, and of course include free breakfast and internet!
Nice hotel that is in the process of remodeling. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean.
We have stayed here a couple of times and found it fully meets our needs. The staff is nice and the pool area is always clean, and the bedding is fresh. Nothing worse than stale bedding and grubby pool area. If we are in MSP again, we will stay here.
We stayed for the weekend so the hotel was busy. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, and our room was very clean as was the common areas. The breakfast was was excellent for a hotel breakfast. The pool is indoor and on the small side but good enough for the kids. This hotel was above average for Holiday Inn Express. I would defiantly stay here again.
I like most of it for the price! free internet tv has cable, it was easy to fing etc.
The facility was nicely designed. The breakfast was excellent with many choices that included healthy selections. We were pleased to find various walking trails next to the property. We would definetly stay here again!
Great place to stay: comfortable beds, nice pool, breakfast was a real treat. Everyone was in love with the pancake machine. The staff was friendly and helpful. One con was noisy people above us. But they did offer to move us. Would gladly stay here again.
Convenient location, good value, great service. Good stay overall.
Nice up to date amenities, pool, breakfast buffet. Upscale soaps, lotions, etc. Nice walking trails to the Mpls Gift Mart, also shuttle service. Quiet room, hdtv, internet access. Only negative is keys are overly sensitive, had to get key recoded several times.
They were very easy to work with at the Holiday Inn Express in Minnetonka. The location worked great for us and we all had a wonderful weekend relaxing and using the pool.
The hotel was okay; nothing to get excited over. I picked the hotel because it was reasonably priced and offered a free breakfast and also has an indoor pool. I didn't get the opportunity to use the pool so I can't comment on it. Breakfast was mediocre, at best. The staff was friendly and accomodating.
This was a great value for the overnight we spent here. The staff was helpful, responsive, and friendly. The rooms and most public areas were clean. Our 3 kids loved the pool area. My only complaint was that when I brought my kids to the pool for an early morning swim, the pool area had not been tidied up from the evening before - there were drink cups and dirty towels laying all over the room. Of course by this time in the morning the staff was preoccupied with serving breakfast and checkouts, but I would think that the overnight staff has time to pickup the room before they open in the morning.
