That staff was very helpful and friendly. Also, the location was great. Very close to the Capitol building. We upgraded to a buffet breakfast, which was lacking and the hot food was cold. Not a good value at $25/ person, but at a hotel, I understand the price, but if the food is cold, then it was a waste of money.
The location to the Washington attractions was very good. The value of the room was good., but the parking was very expensive. The food was very expensive, you would think that they would want to keep people in the hotel to eat but because of the prices many people choice to eat out.
breakfast buffet, swimming pool, location of the hotel absence of mini bar in the room
customer services very polite, staffs are excellent to please customers, afternoon tea/coffee does show their hospitality
Location Hidden charges. $58 a night to park. Nowhere did I see that when I booked the trip. $8 for a draft beer that should be $3, I get a call from security in the evening waking me up, stating that the policy is to call if the do not disturb sign is out. The do not disturb sign was out, I didn't want to be disturbed. Couldn't go back to sleep. I'm a small business owner, if I treated my customers that way, I would be out of business. I will never give that hotel a dime again.
Internet, parking, tv hdmi not working, deceiving "city view"
Spacious room, quiet, clean and well-appointed.
Walking to distance to good lunch and dinner choices Hotel lobby shop was typical "airport prices" for anything you'd want, making You feel like a fool if you didn't to walk across the street and buy a snack or coffee at 1/3 price.
Excellent Capitol Hill location. Comfortable base for young children on their first tour of the Capital.
Clean sheets, very comfortable bedding, clean showers and floors. Great location with respect to the national mall. Gym is great. Would definitely recommend. Nothing.
The location is perfect, near to train station and major tour points. The staff was kind and helpful. The room is comfy and spotless.
Very nice amenities and the shower was great! I booked my stay two month prior for a King Bed for one night. When I got there, they said they were sold out of King Bed's and all they had were two doubles. Not the biggest deal, but what is the point of booking a King in advance if that is not what is available? Also, our room did have a musty smell to it when we first got it. After running the air for a bit, it went away.
We enjoyed our stay at the Washington court hotel after the liaison did not have a room for us. We arrived at the liaison at 12 am hoping to get into our room quickly and get some rest. We waited in line for at least 30 minutes to check in, as other guests appeared to be having issues with check in. After finally reaching the check in desk, we were told that the room we had reserved was not available. The only available room had no bed, just a pull out couch that could only sleep one person. This situation was the same for another 5-6 parties attempting to check in after us. We were given the option of staying at another hotel down the street and switching back to the liaison for the second night of our stay. We decided to cancel our liaison reservation and stay at the other hotel for both nights. The entire situation was handled in a very unprofessional manor, adding stress and confusion to what we hoped to be a relaxing weekend.
The room was a little bit too much in regards to modern art deco. There was no two lamp that was the same. Parking cost $48 overnight,
The comfort of the room was fantastic, especially compared to the price we paid. The breakfast we had at the Art & Soul was tremendous... And the Concierge was very professional when we asked for information about sightseeing and dining in DC, unfortunately I don't remember his name! All in all a wonderful stay! Nothing!
The best feature of the hotel was the convenient location. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Location, but there was no many restaurants around there, so we all went to Hilton, but the dinner on 11th Fl at Hilton was terrible. The room was small, and bathroom was stuck all the time, so the next person had to shower in the full of water of bath tub.
The location The restaurant was under renovation and the breakfast was okay with no table to sit. I deplore this but I understand in a sens but they could do better to accomodate the guest to sit. I will still recommand the Hotel
Location very close to both Union Station and Capitol Hill, nice furnished and spacious rooms, free wifi in lobby. Breakfast not included.
location, clean and nice room, good room service some personell, lack of polintess and manners, not attentive and not accurate. Not welcoming.
The bed was very comfortable; room very clean and attractive. Our hotelwas on the tenth floor just below the fitness room. We were wken up at around 6 am for four days due to the noise of someone uisng the facilitities. We would recommend this hotel to others with the caveat to do so only if the room is on a lower floor.
The bed was extremely comfortable. It was very quiet. I didn't hear much noise inthe hall and nothing from adjoining rooms.
- Great location. - Friendly staff. - Gym doesn't seem to be well maintained. - Noisy.
the location is perfect, next to union station and close to the museums
The hotel is located just steps from the Capitol and Library of Congress, and the Capitol South Metro stop. It was a great location, with a good selection of restaurants and cafes within a couple blocks. The hotel provides a great breakfast spread in a building adjacent to the main building, so be aware that you may have to walk a bit to get to breakfast in the morning if you are staying in the main building. Food included: oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage, bread/bagels/muffins, fruit (apples/bananas), coffee, tea, and a selection of juices. While I never took part, the hotel also offers a wine hour from 5-6pm in the main building. They also provide free 24-hour tea/coffee/hot chocolate and a selection of sundries in the main building. The bathroom in the Junior Suite was rather small and did not have a window that opened, so it did get a bit stuffy after a hot shower. The television generally worked, but some of the channels would go out every now and then. Wifi required you to log in multiple times a day, which was frustrating.
Breakfast, gym, and location
We liked the clean decor and the layout of the room. Breakfast was outstanding. I can't think of anything that we didn't like.
The location was perfect, one block away from the train station and right down the street from restaurants. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, making sure our every need was taken care of. Great hotel. nothing
I love the location, free breakfast and most importantly the service.
Location was great. Staff friendly and helpful. Very Clean. Nice breakfast included. Rooms didn't have adequate plugs. Bathrooms cramped and door didn't close, so no privacy if traveling with anyone.
Friendly staff Bathroom was a little small
I first chose the Capitol Hill Hotel for its location. I was one block from not only the metro station, but also the Capitol Legislative Office Buildings. This hotel more than met my expectations. The staff was very friendly and accomidating. My room did not feel like a standard hotel room. It was set up as a small studio apartment which made me feel much more at home. Everything was modern and beautiful. I will definitly be staying here for all of my business trips to Capitol Hill.
Large room, comfy bed, friendly and accomodating staff-they let us check out late, valet parking until 6 pm the next day even if you check out that day, breakfast was good though the room is crowded so get there early or be prepared to grab something quick small bathroom
Capitol hill hotel is a great place to stay if you are touring DC. Very close to a metro stop, and only about a 20 minute walk to the mall. Great food on Pennsylvania Ave just minutes away also. Well maintained, the staff were helpful and professional. The only inconvenience I had while staying is there was only one ice machine on the ground floor. Other than that, it was great.
Absolutely nothing- we showed up and they had a list of 12-15 people who had reservations that they were not going to honor and we were on that list. Everything about that hotel was a nightmare- my family showed up and they told us they weren't going to honor our reservation and there was nothing we could do about it. Appalling. There was a long list of people's names on the list of people who weren't going to get rooms. No attempt was made to contact us ahead of time, no effort on their part. It was an absolutely horrible experience.
Staff was friendly and incredibly helpful; room was clean; location was great.
The location was perfect. No
Hotel decorations felt very boutique and very DC themed. No view (view is of another part of the building roughly 10 feet away.

Staff was helpful and professional. Room spacious and newly renovated. Only issue was location - although convenient to Union Station, it was a bit further away for my business needs.
A really cool place to stay just a few blocks from the Capital. The hotel is super clean, in great condition. They even include a Bluetooth speaker in the room! this will be my new hotel when I come to DC!

I liked the convenience to sights and the fact on street parking was not hard to find during the weekend.
I liked the location, nearby everything Because of the location I feel the hotel is mostly hype! Soo many extra little fees I didnt know about room service was $20 extra on top of the bill why?! Because the president eats there -____- I got a good deal but the hotel but it wasnt all that
Amazing staff, great location Nope :)
The distictive character common to all Kimpton hotels. The room was dark and a bit gloomy.
