Pros: Close to subway station (less than 5 min) which leads to Stuttgart airport (only 1 stop away). Be careful that if you miss one, you have to wait about 30 min to take next one. Due to about 2.5 hours of delay of the flight from Granada to Barcelona, I missed connecting flight (same flight company) and hence, I arrived the hotel around 23:40 (I contacted the hotel right after I heard that the flight was delayed. If there had been no delay, I would have arrived the hotel around 18:40). Even though I arrived such late time, the staff was very kind (You have to call them after check-in time. There is public call box right across the street. It took 0.50 euro).

Pros: This hotel is just one stop away with the S-Bahn (€2,50) from the airport. You can reach the S-Bahn from the arrival hall and the hotel is across the street when you exit the station. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean with a good bathroom. There are plenty restaurants near by and the breakfast is simple but not bad.
Cons: I had a single room and it is on the ground floor which I personally don't like. The room is not bad but quite small with the single bed alongside the wall which is also not my preference for a hotel.

Pros: The staff was great and the breakfast was very good. The apartment itself provided a lot more than a traditional room - like large fridge and oven.
Cons: Met our needs but we stayed in an apartment which was located across the street in a professional building with other businesses, like dentist office. It just a different arrangement, and not one I would personally choose had I known.

Pros: The hotel is nice, clean and has great modern facilities. Staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast option was quite good.
Cons: The hotel doesn't have AC in the rooms. All standard rooms are facing a busy street (the premium rooms are facing the quieter side). So in warmer temperature, it could be an issue. The hotel is not central to Esslingen, altought it is an easy walk to the old town.

Pros: The location is great for walking into the old town of Esslingen where there are some great restaurants. The underground car park is great and the automatic doors for your walk back up when you have arms full of luggage is a great idea too. The bar was very popular on our first night.
Cons: 12 euros per day for parking and the breakfast seemed expensive as well so we ate out.

Cons: There was no parking spaces in the free zone when I got back on 2 nights. The first time it happenned, in discussing with a staff member, they offered a place in the underground garage gor a fee of 7.50 €. I accepted as this kept my rental car in a secure environment. This should be more obvious and explainec when we arrive on the first day so we do not try to find a parking spots outside the hotel.

Cons: the air conditioning which was advertised did not work very well. it was hot and the a/c couldn't do much. the room was on the top floor which only made it worse. and being so close to the roof, the walls slanted in over the bed. so getting out of bed it was a challenge not to hit our heads on the slanting roof. Worse yet we paid extra for this room as its area included a small sitting room. up a spiral staircase. we had no desire to deal with the spiral staircase and it was even hotter in the sitting room. The whole area just doesn't understand a/c.

Pros: After a long flight to Germany, I was exhausted and checked in during late at night. I was notified beforehand where to find my keys to get to my room. To my surprise the hotel room was homey and so clean! The breakfast was amazing(the staff were super polite; although I didn’t speak any German they made sure I got everything I needed). Location is great! It has everything you need nearby and great access to public transportation! I will surely visit Hotel Filderland whenever I visit Stuttgart again in the future!

Pros: The Hotel is in front of the S-bahn station. Very well connected as a starting point to visit Stuttgart and nearby towns and villages. Few minutes from the airport. The hotel is very quiet and clean. Rooms are very well designed and equipped. Good breakfast.
Cons: I had a single room at the top floor, Very nice but in this season it may get hot expecially late in the afternoon. There was no way to turn the air conditioning on even for a half an hour since it is centrally controlled and the staff did not seem to be willing to do that. I suggest to book intermediate floor rooms with independent air-conditioning during the summer.

Pros: The staff were nice and helpful. The woman that greeted us at the fron desk of the hotel gave us some information about the hotel and about what we can see and do. We got 1 day breakfadt without a charge and it was nice and teasty. The hotel is like 15 minutes from the airport and like 20-30 minutes from the city center. The hotel have parking place so it good if you with a car.
Cons: There was problem with the Wi-Fi..after several hours it stop to work. We barely were in yhe hotel so it did not bother us too much.

So my impression was that they push me to choose either baby cot or ekstra linnen for sofa as otherwise they will provide a room without a sofa

Guests enjoy a wonderfully quiet location with quick access to Stuttgart Airport, the new exhibition center and the entire metropolitan region via the B27. My room was: 2 beds - 1 closet and into the restroom were only 1 bottle of handsoap! No shampoo, no tools for beauty, as usally disposed by all hotels around the Wordl! Poor hotel, they pretended to be paid an high rate (more than 150,00 euro-night) Staff was bad, parking was bad and also no coffee machine in my room for the early morning wake-up hour...that's terrible! Pros: Personnel was very eager to help you in any way and make me feel right at home. Breakfast was nice and the restaurant below Hotel has nice food also, BUT it wasn't working on Sundays, as everything else in the area!
Cons: For the amount we paid (170Euro per night), I expected a lot more from the room! If it was inside Stuttgard, I wouldn't mind. BUT it is located in a village, where there is nothing to do and 30' minutes away from Stuttgard. Oh, and on sundays everything is closed in the area.. Had to take the car and drive for 10 minutes to go to a Burger King and "eat"..

Pros: 5 mins walk from train station (25 mins to Stuttgart centre) and to X10 bus (30 minutes to airport, every hour)
Cons: Nextdoor church bell chimes every quarter hour from 06:00 to 22:00
