The hotel was very nice. The lobby was warm and comfortable and with comfy couches and a fireplace, I could have stayed there all day. The rooms were clean and beds were incredibly comfortable. The down comforter was a nice touch and helped make the sleep very restful. Staff was friendly and willing to help. Unfortunately, I didn't get to stay long as this was for business, but I would definitely go back for pleasure next time.
Clean Very dated and outdoor stairs was only access, very narrow for carrying up suitcase
Nothing Went there for the pool for the kids. Was closed. They never offered to call when it opened
fitness room comfy king bed shower good pool area - dingy
I didn't like the heater in the room was very noisy and the chair in the room was dirty
Hilton Honors floor. Restaurant was good. I didn't have the buffet like most guests. The kitchen made me a custom omlet and did a good job.
Can only say perfect
Front desk staff was very helpful and polite. Hotel was a little worn down, bed pillows were terrible. There was a lot of noise from a group of people yelling and partying in the hallway late at night and we also were in the room next to an unruly individual and ended up with hotel security coming up to defuse the situation. Please see email that I previously sent this morning. We would never use this hotel again.
Love the warm chocolate chips on checkin. Excellent mattress. Hallways have bad odor and look worn.
Good staff, clean comfortable updated rooms.
Easy modern clean Parking is tight
It was simply a stop over on a longer driving trip. Satisfactory, but not great. Not well maintained--looked very tired and in need of better maintenance.
Excellent mattresses Severe minimalist decor. Not a place for families with kids.
I bought this hotel in general was very nice. Everyone was friendly, the hotel and rooms were very clean. The design was great. Wifi worked, TV choice was good, free flavored waters were a nice touch, and outside and inside lobby seating areas were nice. I prioritize coffee and comfort over exercise. The lack of free coffee in the morning was a bummer. I almost died when they told me how much the coffee was. My wife ran down the street to McDonald's to grab 3 more for my family. The food offerings were gimmicky healthy and expensive. Ie kale chips. While staying fit is nice, the room was definitely geared towards working out. If you also like comfy reading chairs, those were removed so you had more exercise space. as I said, liked the hotel but if you aren't an exercise freak than maybe these small things will also annoy you.
Ease off comford No
The room was so clean and the king bed was so soft. The shower was nice, plenty of hot water and good water pressure. I wish there was a bathtub.
All of the staff were very acomidating, and nice. The hotel was clean, new, convenient, and perfect for a health conscious person. The gym and in room supplies were perfect if you were away from your home gym Everything was great
The room and the entire building were amazing. Super friendly staff. Great prices and atmosphere. Will be going back again.
location, morning coffee and paper. Free WIFI Quick snack to go. Stale or not available.
Nice looking rooms, exactly what I needed. Great price. Coffee machine was broken. Ants in cupboards.
I was cut off mid-sentence (once we had been in dialogue about where to get food) by a front desk staffer because another guest (from a wedding party) came after from a conference room with a problem. I thought it was rude and I felt like the wedding party guests were held as a higher priority.
Beds They room keys
helpful staff, great breakfast, convenient location to our son's new apartment..easy to find off the highway. Our son recommended this hotel as our first night at another hotel was awful! there was a swim meet somewhere in Norwalk Conn. so many families stayed at the Hilton. Parents left their children unattended in the evening as the kids ran thru the hallways making noise and slamming doors till after midnight. Repeated calls to the front desk made little difference. there wasn't much they could do. Also, a small fire in the kitchen Monday morning at 8 am ..we had to get out of the hotel and stand outside for half an hour. We were on the second floor.. the stairs were hard to find, there were no signs in the halls...good thing there was no smoke in the hallways
staff 2 fire alarms in middle of night
The staff was amazing The location, I wish it was more to do near by.
Very friendly staff greeted us.The layout of the bedroom was perfect, with a sofa, and the "tucked around the corner" kingsize bed, made it feel even more private. The desk space, with the pullout computer desk, was perfect and the chair was very comfortable for both my tall husband and me, a much shorter person. Wifi connection was good and the TV channels more than adequate. We have been very happy with our stays at Marriott hotels and have always had excellent service while staying there. Our only complaint was that the restaurant food was a little off, probably because we checked in late and ordering salads was not a good idea at the time of night,as the the greens were even more tired than we were. The restaurant staff was, on the other hand, so delightful and accommodating that we said nothing and went to our room happy to not have to drive any more for anything, that night..
the food service area was poor. The service was dissappointing, the prices too high and the food indifferent.A turn-off.
Clean. Great location. Very comfortable. Noisy in the courtyard during the night!!!
We stayed there for it's location. The price was good too. The King Size bed was comfortable. The room was small and there was no elevator to the second floor. There was no ice machine on the second floor.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, the free breakfast was great.
Closely located to my meeting sight. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very comfortable beds. No elevator, though not a big problem
Rooms on the small side but cozy. Nice bar and bartender was very good. Good menu in restaurant. The breakfast buffet was varied but the food in the hot section was never hot, perhaps lukewarm. Also for tea drinkers it would be nice to have more variety than just Lipton regular and decaf. Didn't realize the hotel had no elevator until I arrived and found I was on the second floor, inconvenient for business travelers with extra baggage. Make sure you specify if that is a problem.
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pillows were a bit..lumpy.
Comforatble room and convenient to I-95 The carpet and furnishings in the public areas could be revewed.
I like the fact that it’s one of a kind and not part of a chain. Pool area needs up-grading of outdoor furniture and general up keep of the pool area was poor needs some sprucing up.
Reasonable rates. Stink from smoke in the rooms.
Spacious room. The room numbering made little sense, and was haphazard.
sono(S Norwalk) picture on line shows hotel overlooking water. Maybe ten miles away. Also I still have issues with your co. regarding the price originally contracted for and having my credit card co dispute charges.
Theroom was very old and the hot tub sat st the side in poor taste. Seemed very dirty.
It was ok. Clean and cheaper. Just had a problem with one of my credit card. Really don't know why.
Cheap and easy Recently renovated Bathrooms could have been cleaner Rooms are overpowering with scented potpourri
Large room with everything that you would expect. I was there on a Saturday night and it was very quiet. I had a bottom floor room, and in the morning I could hear a lot of walking around upstairs.
The room was very clean and spacious. Hotel was quiet and in a great location. Staff was friendly! Shower was loud. It sounded like a lawn mower in the tub. It did quiet down after few minutes. Wifi was spotty.
I could open my window The bed was extremely old and hard, there was no ice machine, the vending machine was out of order. The breakfast supplies were not restocked. The worst part, when I showed up to book a room, they tried to charge me $160, I told them it was cheaper online and showed them. They MADE me book my reservation online so I could check in. So that took forever because I couldn't utilize the wifi (no code yet) and the cell signal was poor. What should have been a ten minute check in, took almost a half an hour. I have to stay in that area twice a month, I will be staying at the Marriott after this, the pricing is about the same, and the amenities and service are so much better.
