10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast too
Cons: The sheets were not soft. Pillows were flat. Scramble eggs were hard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything about this hotel. The breakfast every morning was delicious! The social hour was amazing as well. John the manger and Bonnie were amazing people and so friendly. We will definitely be back.
Cons: Need more pillows on bed. Like 6 instead of 4
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Large rooms, pet friendly, great value, everything is modern and clean, great breakfast buffet, friendly staff. Just outside of downtown but for that you get very large suites and there's a 24 hour free shuttle service to any location within 5 miles and they pickup / dropoff on demand, just call. It's about a 5-8 min drive to downtown. The in suite kitchen's are also fully stocked with a full size fridge, pots and pans, silverware, sink and even a dishwasher. Feels like you're at home if staying for a few days.
Cons: To have a pet stay with you it's an extra 50 a night which which can add up and get expensive given the hotel price. I feel a one time pet cleaning fee would be more appropriate. I cleanup after my pet and there is no big mess.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The facility is very new and clean. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. They serve a light dinner with beverages as well as a breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a gem of a hotel. The staff is amazing, the property is well-designed and in a great situation just off the freeway (access could not be easier), parking is free, and there is a 24/7 free shuttle bus available on demand for guests who wish to pop in to Burlington for the day. Breakfast was fantastic, as was the complimentary food served (with free beer and wine!) from 5.30 Mon-Thurs. If we ever get back to this part of Vermont we will have no hesitation in staying again at the Homewood Suites. We cannot recommend the property highly enough.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Like new! Super clean and spotless. Luxurious. Full refrigerator and freezer, cook top, microwave, and all things needed to cook. Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. Quiet, comfortable, and perfectly equipped rooms. Coffee round the clock downstairs, breakfast, and dinner on weeknights. Honestly, best place we've stayed - ever! Great value.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was an awesome hotel, right in downtown Burlington! My room was HUGE and really cozy--a great place to spend a snowy night before interviewing at UVM for medical school in the morning. The bed was SUPER comfy, and the entire room was spotless. The communal pantries in the hallways are great (I was especially impressed with the seltzer dispenser), and I LOVED the flannel robe in my room as well. I was SUPER impressed overall, and will definitely stay here the next time I'm in Burlington.
Cons: Literally nothing--my entire stay was great. Definitely my favorite hotel I've stayed at on the interview trail so far.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly check-in. The whole place was very clean. Loved the large tub and fireplace. The countertops were updated and beautiful. Bed sooo comfy!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: They served breakfast and a light dinner. Staff was wonderful .
Cons: No it was a wonderful stay
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Pillows on bed
5.8 Okay
Cons: We would have overlooked the slightly worn everything if the staff had been doing as much as possible to overcompensate. Sadly, they were ineffective and incomplete. Lots of chit chat amongst teams (housekeeping, front desk etc) left the focus not on caring for the client. Their apologies for things undone and missing were rather casual, surly and just too automatic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great dinner and breakfast. Worth every penny.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel with a spacious suite and comfortable bed! Loved the complimentary coffee/tea in lobby and my pup felt welcome too!
Cons: Wouldn’t change a thing!

Pros: Loved the location. Close to everything in Burlington.
Cons: Restaurant was awful!!!! Service was slow and it took over an hour to get our breakfast.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. Pool was better than average.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location
Cons: Our room was not cleaned;there were dirty towels and used water bottles!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were absolutely wonderful. We had a terrible experience the evening before, so we switched to the Courtyard. Seeing and listening to what happened, the staff did their best to allow us to take care of our vehicle while we waited for our room, and even accommodated an early check-in because of our needs. Thank you so much! You saved the 4th of July for us!!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was delicious although a bit pricey. I would have appreciated more options e.g. one egg with toast etc. Location is excellent but difficult when you do not come by car. I had to walk up to Downtown Transit Center in the rain carrying my bag. A ride would have been welcome. (I am 78 years old..in generally excellent condition..but the weather was challenging).
Cons: See above. More dining options, better transportation to hotel from transit center.
6.5 Good
Pros: Great location near Church Street and within walking distance of Central Burlington's attractions.
Cons: Very poor welcome and interaction with staff. As a family member of a Marriott employee, I utilized the Explore Rate discount for family members. My initial greeting was a very cold "I can't believe we're offering that rate tonight" followed by what felt like an interrogation about my relationship to the Marriott employee (my mother). A packet of room keys was tossed across the counter my way with no explanation of where the elevators were, how the parking lot worked, etc. Upon asking, I got a repeated "I just can't believe we're offering that rate tonight". Very very poor way to treat the family members of fellow Marriott associate.
7.9 Good
Pros: Restaurant was very good, but also very expensive.
Cons: Room temp was easily controlled, but air was extremely dry - -would have loved to be able to open a window and get some fresh air in. Also wasn't clear from their website that they DID have parking available in adjacent parking garage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The shower was huge! The location was great, right near the lake and walkable distance to church street. While it was pricey, I felt like it was worth the extra money on our special occassion.
Cons: You do have to pay for parking.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite when we arrived, which was so nice!! The room was cozy, clean and comfortable for the most part.
Cons: It was hard to connect to the WiFi and once you did, it was really slow. Also, the couch itself wasn’t super comfy to sit on, but there was plenty of other seating around so it didn’t matter much...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was complete with sausages and bacon. The room was perfectly clean and the bed confortable.
Cons: The was not much in the kitchen, 4 forks, 4 plates not enough pans. I would have appreciate the suite bigger, the living room-kitchen was tiny.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The king room was a great size and accommodated us and our 2 dogs well. We also enjoyed the happy hour drinks and appetizers. It was a nice surprise. The full breakfast was delicious and allows us to have a nice breakfast without worrying about the dogs.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great. Room was specious. Very nice staff. Location is great.
Cons: Though the room was clean it felt undated and not clean enough.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: My family stayed here on an unexpected overnight. We came up expecting a day trip but the kids ended up too tired to travel home. The room was way bigger than we expected, had a queen bed and pull out.couch. upon checking they let us request to be placed by other families (less worry that our noisey kids would wake others). They provided two clean pack and plays for our kids (both under age two). The breakfast is good. There was a lot of choice for cold things and grab and go. The husband was a bit dissapointed in the lack of hot.items but there were bagela , pancakes, waffles etc. We didn't use the pool but we went to check it out and it was clean and well cared for. Our room was very clean and we really enjoyed it. If we need to stay in the area in the future.we will certainly stay here!

7.0 Good
Pros: We arrived (unknowingly) right before an ice storm. The person at the front desk was extremely kind and helped us cancel our second night so we could leave before the storm hit. Thank you!
Cons: Some of the guests were quite loud.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms . Breakfast was good
Cons: Pillows where small . Asked for extra pillows and they where is like a mesh pillow case . Didn’t have cloth pillow cases on them .
7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff and very good breakfast.
Cons: You can unfortunately hear the noise from the hallways, luckily it was fairly quiet after 10pm.
7.0 Good
Pros: had to book this hotel on short notice due to flights being cancelled. I was pick dup with their free shuttle very quicky esp as their was a huge snow storm, staff were helpful and nice. they. the restaurant closed early due to the weather but was still ok and got a seat.
Cons: yet again hockey players causing noise and smoking in rooms. it seems to be a problem in hotels around this part of the USA. the staff dealt with this well.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Close enough to walk to Higher Ground for a concert.
Cons: Incredibly loud rooms. Some sound proofing around the entry would help (there’s a large gap exposed under each door). A youth hockey team was banging on doors all night. Front desk was of no help. Additionally, the parking lot was a mess from the snow storm the day before, and we had to leave our car in another lot. Stayed here for the breakfast, but it was so packed and so basic, we chose to go elsewhere and pay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant
Cons: Big undercut under door flood room with light at night. Occupants above sounded like elephants walking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to Higher Ground
Burlington Hostel - Burlington - Building

8.4 Excellent (126 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Burlington (South End), Burlington Hostel is within a 10-minute walk of Waterfront Park and Church Street Marketplace. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a 24-hour business center, and a 24-hour front desk.
7.9 Good
Pros: It was an easy booking and registration process. This hostel served our purpose well, which was a place to lay our heads over a busy weekend.
Cons: It was bizarre to me that there were not full walls between each room, which held 8 bunks each. Because the walls did not fully reach the ceiling, the snoring from the other room was quite the disturbance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My first urban hostel stay. Burlington Hostel set the bar very, very high for any other hostels I book! My more-hostel-experienced friends say this is the best they’ve found.
Cons: Speaking as an angry old white man, this is as bad as it got: On a breakfast waffle high, I departed and left my food cache behind, in the fridge. Loved every other thing.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, quiet street close to water and Church street. Well maintained with a wonderful staff that are friendly and helpful.
Cons: I could hear noises from other rooms due to walls not going all the way to the ceiling, lights on all night, nothing outside rooms to identify which is yours, curtains to room entrance did not close all the way, would have preferred a door to curtains.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff and other travelers where very nice and courteous. There is a great kitchen where you can utilize the fridge and cups etc. There is coffee and waffles in the morning.
Cons: The lights went off in your room at 10pm, then you were unable to see anything. The walls were only partial walls between "rooms" leaving 2.5 feet to the ceiling so you felt like the people in the room next door were right aside of you. The water in the shower took a moment to get warm.
4.5 Okay
Cons: Desk clerk Samuel was aggressive and rude. As well as intimidating and finally verbally abusive. Must remain anonymous due to fear of retaliation.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The dwelling was comfy along with the bed.
Cons: I was not pleased when i planned to cook there i expected a stove as every Hostel i visited was a cooking stove. For many like me expect a stove so one doesn't have to rely on eating at restaurant s
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, the staff and the hostel is amazing!

4.0 Okay
Cons: Breakfast. Cleanliness. Breakfast room dirty, tables sticky, empty serving trays.
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great and the staff were very accomodating

Pros: c,est pris du centre achat
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent

Pros: location ease of check-in and cleanliness were above average
Cons: The thermostat did not function well. Setting temperature was difficult as the buttons were not very responsive and the fan could only be set to auto and not On all the time as we prefer. The pillows were too small/short for a king bed.
7.0 Good
Pros: The bed was cozy, facilities were clean. Moderate hotel for good price.
Cons: Breakfast could be better

9.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the closeness to shopping. The pool and breakfast area was very convenient and clean. The staff was very accommodating! Would consider staying here in the future.
Cons: Wished the 2 bedroom unit with pull out couch had 2 bathrooms instead of only one.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: the room was a large attractive and comfortable suite. Good breakfast buffet, bed was very comfortable, soft sheets,
Cons: only complaint were the towels--thick but like sandpaper
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean, very comfortable and cozy. The fire place was an added plus.
Cons: I was not crazy about the changing room in the pool area it was cold and it was nowhere to sit while you Changed from your suit to your clothes. I’m getting the cold months or winter you have to walk from the pool area to your room so I would think they would provide a hair dryer and a bench or something so you can change into dry clothes.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable room Pleasant and friendly staff
Cons: Had to walk outside to get to the pool, front desk and breakfast not very pleasant in winter time
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed.
Cons: Had to move room due to leak in ceiling of bath room, Too much noise at night from adjoining rooms
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was spacious and well laid out and had modern conveniences (refrigerator, stove, coffee pot, flat screen tv.) Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was offered - I did not partake, but saw many other people who looked pleased.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean facility, excellent value, huge room, nice kitchen in room, staff who went above and beyond. We enjoyed our stay very much!
Cons: The breakfast was just okay, but it was free and filling so it's hard to complain. The location was good and you can drive to all main attractions in the area between 15-30 mins, though nothing is truly walkable.
6.0 Good
Pros: Bed was really comfortable. Kitchen was a nice bonus. Pool was great. Customer service was excellent.
Cons: Our neighbors were loud and smoked right outside our door on the balacony. They had a large glass jar outside their door in which they deposited their cigarette butts. The next day of our stay, we informed the front desk staff member, and she let us know she would inform the guests that they are not allowed to smoke outside their room. We were pleased it was handled right away.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Not much. Free parking? It was generally quiet? Beyond that, not much.
Cons: Dated & tiresomely formulaic clustered condo layout that, at least in my case, proved flat and disappointing. Failed to deliver what was promised. No fireplace. Long walks through a maze of pressure treated stairs. Grungy pool and awkward hot tub.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was quiet though it was near the highway. Beds were comfortable.
Cons: The outside could use some cleaning, removal of debris. We had a lilac bush growing up through our patio.
6.0 Good
Pros: Towels, very clean and fluffy. Appliances kitchen, proximity to route 89 and local attractions . Parking close to room.
Cons: Food was terrible! We thought it would be local, organic maybe as we were in Vermont but it was genetically engineered, fake, no nutrient and artificial. The PJ coffee was really bad. Fake cream no options except smackers honey. Come on Sonesta it is 2020!!Letdown for the hot breakfast perk!! Also they only serve from 630 til 830am with no other options or substitutions. We payed extra for a room with a fireplace but no access!!! We had to pay extra for fake logs!!! That should have been disclosed. A wood burning fireplace in Vermont and we are not allowed to burn wood!!! Rip off. Kids were super disappointed with the pool, water was lukewarm and the hot tub tiny fitting 3 adults if that, we had to wait in line to get into it! Toilet in women’s changing room by pool was clogged both days, it was freezing in there and the space heater set up did not work! The Housekeeper Laurie was helpful and sweet, I wanted to leave her tip with the front desk upon checkout and the ultra blond bluntly informed me “we don’t do that here” She seemed irritated to print out a receipt and did not ask us about our stay or even say goodbye or a thank you! It seemed like such a cute place online but not. We will visit again but not at Sonesta. W
