We thought the staff were very helpful and curtious.
The room needed to be cleaned. There was dust everywhere, stains on the bed and mess on the toilet. The toilet seat needs replacing, as it is so cheap it doesnt remain up. However, the worst part of the stay was the bed. The matress was horrendous. It was hard and bumpy and one of the worst nights sleep I have ever had. The pillows were thin and hard and we gave up on sleeping several hours into the night.
The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable but in need of redecorating.
The reception and telephone staff were rude and unhelpful and interrupted constantly.
Room was comfortable. Allowed late check in. Polite night porter. Day concierge less so. Easy parking on site. Able to meet requests to borrow an iron.
Very poor noise isolation between rooms and floors. Able to hear everyone which led to a poor nights sleep. I don’t know if it was just that room but I would not stay again simply because of that.
The whole experience was excellent from arrival to departure, the staff were friendly and professional. Food at restaurant on the premises was great.
Not the hotels fault but the car parking was a bit of a problem, there are no spots marked out so some cars had one and a half spot meaning less car spaces than possible for others.
Quality of the room was very poor.
