Also, the food service time was weird - we got a full lunch about an hour before we landed, which didn't make sense, and had to wait almost 5 - 6 hours between brunch and our next meal - a movie snack. Most passengers were famished by the time the lunch was served. Also, why was there no wifi?"

But since the first leg is always getting in and you have to bus to the terminal, transit time is about 30 mins. Although they are efficient and i made it this time, i wouldn't want to do this with kids."

Cons: "Boarding at Bali Airport is chaotic. This can hardly be attributed to Qatar Airways but this needs to be sorted out. When boarding began, it started with "Group 1" rather than business and other priority customers. It ended up rather chaotic with boarding halted at the end of the escalator causing a very uncomfortable situation as people struggled to get off the escalator."

Terrible Business Lounge 'Aspire' in Gatwick; dirty and poorly equipped - not even Prosecco on offer without paying £5 for a small glass. Qatar should stop using this dreadful place. Crew seemed to have stopped referring to the passengers by name and offer a less-personalised service in Business than we have become accustomed to. The food choices while good, have been paired back as have the selection of wines."

However we were flying West and thus into daylight. Sadly the window seated passengers were not asked to close their window blinds to block out the sunlight and many were left open. This made the cabin very bright and a difficult environment in which to sleep. Too much advertising before the on board videos, but otherwise content was good."

But the worst part was that my luggage went missing. After it was found nobody let me know so it was just sitting there for three days before I could get a hold of someone. And then after multiple calls they finally said it would take another 5 days to be delivered 200 miles. So I ended up having to go get it myself. Not as much as an apology from them. Aeroflot is absolute garbage. Stay away from them."

I was not allowed to get on the plane from miami to moscow because i did not have a russian visa, even though i had a visa for Belarus, my final destination. How would i know that the flight from russia to minsk is a domestic flight? There is no information online about needing a russian visa when being a transit passenger in Moscow. I was not offered any refund for my ticket and the cheapest option was to pay an extra 600$ and fly in 2 days to NY JFK and from there to fly to Moscow-Vilnius. My flight from Miami to JFK was very delayed with American Airlines and i missed my connection to Moscow. I had to pay another 100$ and fly the next day to Moscow. That fight was again delayed and AGAIN i missed my connection to Vilnius. I got to the gate 20min before the take off time but i was not allowed to get on the plane.I had to fly later that night. The whole trip, which was supposed to take 14 hours ended up being 4 days and almost double what I originally payed, not to mention the stress and waste of time. If i knew how the trip would pan out I would never have taken this route."

That pretty much sums it up but here’s a laundry list of issues I faced on the trip 1. They landed us in a different airport in China and did not inform us on how to get to the other airport (PVG). After several failed attempts of catching a taxi that accepts Visa or US dollars, we finally got a bus that ferried us 2. They also did not automatically transfer the luggage, so I had to carry my two checked in bags to the other one and then stand in a 45 min queue to get them checked in again 3. Unhelpful ground staff 4. Delayed second flight. After a shitty eight hour long layover, we got another 2 5. Horrible food 6. No ear plugs are available in the plane 7. Not a single apology from the crew about the delay Also, anyone who doesn’t speak mandarin needs to understand that the crew in China is not well equipped to understand and help you, so be prepared to have the translation struggle"

Cons: "The flight was delayed for half an hour, and then waited in the plane for another three hours before take off. I guess a few hours of delay is normal when you fly in China. The passengers waited seating in the plane for more than 3 hours not knowing the reason of the delay nor when will it take off. There were no choice of meal. The meal was very basic and was with too authentic flavor and material. Rice was undercooked and compressed in rectangular shape probably by food producing machine. No individual grains can be seen. There were no individual monitors or entertainment available, but understandable, considering that it is a two and a half hour flight."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed by more than 3 hours. I knew about it because I got email messages from Kayak informing me of this delay about 4 hours before scheduled takeoff. But the airline officials did not tell anyone about the delay and the Gate kept showing the scheduled time. Even when we asked the officials, they would not say how delayed the flight was going to be, although Kayak knew about it. It was very insensitive on their part to keep passengers waiting indefinitely at the Gate when they knew all the while how delayed the flight was. I wish they would learn to be more honest with their passengers."

When got to security it was already 1230 and gate is closing in 25 minutes, I talked to people for a quicker access but to no avail. When I got through security, it was 1305 and the gate was closed. When I talked to someone At the end another is arranged at 1625, only delayed until 1900 for boarding, and took off at 2000."

The staff at the check in somewhat redeemed themselves when I had asked for an escort to the next service counter they sent me to and to notify customs and security that I would need assistance getting to my flight. I was traveling solo 5 mo the pregnant with a 3 and 5 year old that had been sleeping in strange places and standing in line after line to get us home for 2 days. They got us through efficiently expediting us through lines to get us to our gate as they were boarding, I had never been so glad to leave an airport so much in my life."

I was directed to the international check in desk where it didn't open until 8 am and our flight was at 9:05. I and some other travelers waiting had an issue with a women at the international terminal where the service people would not call security or escort her from the area where she was making other travelers feel unsafe and uncomfortable. When finally checking in after waiting 2 hours for the counter to open, I was told to go to another service counter to check in."
