Being crammed into a tiny seat with a bunch of strangers is never pleasant. Same in this flight. Nothing terrible, just the usual. Also, to the other passengers, sit down until it’s your turn to exit. What is wrong with you that you can’t sit five more minutes? Be polite and let the people in front of you go first, let them have room to grab their bags instead of having your elbows in their face."

We explained at the checkpoint that we had a few minutes, but they controlled us several times until we had to throw several liquid items. In St. Petersburg they had already controlled us, without problems. In short: a sad experience in Riga, which does not speak well of this country: Latvia."

Many of us had a connecting flight with Air Baltic from Riga to Helsinki- which we asked if they will wait for us, the crew member said because the flight was also with Air Baltic, they will wait for us. We got there 10 minutes before take off, and the gate has already closed. Furthermore, we got to the Air Baltic counter, we were given 5Euro meal vouchers even though we will be staying at the Riga airport for 9 hours. Also they gave us terrible customer service attitude, which we definitely do not deserve after being delayed, and causing so much trouble on their behalf. Definitely do not recommend flying with Air Baltic again. I've never been this angry with any air line."

Cons: "on the website i ordered and payed for a meal, and automatically it went to the last and the shortest leg of the flight. it did not ask which leg i was interested in. so i phoned their customer service to get this fixed, they said they cannot fix it and closed the phone on me. on the website is said that from israel you cannot do advance internet checkin, and when i arrived at the checkin they said that i should have done this advanced check in, and since i didn't i need to go to their ticket office and pay a penalty of 35$ per passenger. there also was no warning on the website of any such penalty. i will never fly with them again if i can help it."

The only solution that they can offer me was to travel from Riga to Moscow and than to Tel Aviv. It become 12 hours traveling across 4 countries ( we arrived form Stockholm) instead of 5 hours flight as it was supposed to! I'm not recommending to travel with that company it can not be trusted!"

They don't even serve a glass of water, apparently they could not manage to integrate it in the ticket price. But they dare to get thirsty and unhappy customers on the plane. Anyways: This airline company is charging extra for luggage. And I could not see this anywhere when I was buying ticket online. If I knew I'd never buy the ticket from Airbaltic. "Not writing it clearly and visible at the time of ticket purchase" is certainly tricking and misleading us. This is a crime!"

We liked the masses of leg room but on a night flight it is impossible for the middle/window passenger to escape as all seats are back with footrests extended. The cabin crew were very good. The plane was new and very clean. Roast beef salad for breakfast was tasty if unusual."

There was no music entertainment so ensure you bring your own. There is plenty of power. The film selection is the same in both directions and pretty limited. Not a problem if you are sleeping though. Note: When upgraded you don’t seem to get all your prepaid extras refunded and we couldn’t choose our seats in Premium. There is no business lounge in Austin. (There was in Gatwick). The Norwegian app never linked to my reservation automatically. Some synchronisation work required there. Unlike other premium flights the drinks service was pretty limited. I didn’t enjoy eating out of a cardboard box, but the food was tasty."

Cons: "It’s a long flight with no drinks... but with Norwegian you know what you sign up for! Water is $3. The 5 hour delay left something to be desired, but Norwegian texted me early so I knew not to head to the airport."

Pros: "All in all a great flight both there and back. I'd recommend this airline without hesitation. I didn't have a single issue with them. Great plane with all the new gadgets etc, love that the windows could be dimmed for sleep/watching movies. Lots of leg room, bonus for me was that both flights I had nobody next to me so I was also able to lie down! Shopping system worked great, every time I ordered I received my food/drink within minutes. Boarding was carried out in number order and worked well as they give themselves loads of time. There was no backlog of passengers waiting for that one person (there is always one!) to arrange their overhead space perfectly!! Would definitely fly with them again."

The easy jet representative charging me for the bag check treated me like I was stupid for not checking the bag online. I didn’t know until late that I was going to need to check a bag... The flight boarding was completely unorganized. They shuttled 3 bus loads of people to the plane and had everyone board on either end of the plane, making it so people had to scoot past each other both ways to get to their seats creating a traffic jam. The biggest insult was they don’t even provide water unless you pay for it. All the food and drink must be paid for. Not only that they have a magazine for items you can buy while flying with them. It felt so commercialized and like a complete rip off. I will never fly with easy jet again. Oh and I forgot to mention, the plane was dirty when we loaded. There was a dirty tissue under my seat and trash in then compartment in front of me."

At the end i paid 60 euro!!!! for that as i didn't have energy to argue and the flight was about to leave. Cons: "Due to a late arrival in Mykonos by Eastjet caused me to miss my next Easyjetflight to Berlin. This left me stranded in Gatwick for 24 hours and I had to pay a fare increase on top of it! That's total BS! I had to stand in line at customer service for over 45 mins only to be told that there was nothing they could do. Gatwick is freezing cold and I was forced to put on many layers of my clothes just to prevent freezing. It was suggested that I get a hotel room. I was on a tight budget and couldn't afford a hotel, so I was forced to sleep in the terminal. I had a hotel reservation in Berlin for the night that I slept in the airport and lost a day and a half of mt vacation that I can't recover. All in all it cost me an additional 70 euros to re-book as well as $150 for my hotel room and 20 euros on cheap airport food. Im really pissed!"

There is a degree of unfairness with these impromptu and extra charges. I came on the same flight with the same bag and there was no hassle. Pros: "One of the very rare on-time, efficient and smooth flights with Wizzair. Check-in was fairly quick and incident-free, despite some of the other passengers reporting problems with the procedures and the staff. Boarding was quick and the flight actually arrived 10 minutes earlier than scheduled."

I didn't have the code as I was searching emails for the booking agent and airline when it was (as I later discovered) sent by another name. This resulted in £30 to check in going out and 40 euros back. Desk staff were unhelpful bordering on rude (the cabin staff were fine in that respect. I wasn't the only one at least 20 people queuing on the return with the same issue. Additionally on the delay out they advised food could be brought at the rear of the plane then inflight ran out so some people ate twice while by the time I got to my hotel they had stopped serving food and I had not eaten in the airport sorting out the boarding passes."
