Pros: "The in flight service was fantastic. The attendants were friendly and always smiling. The pilots flew the plane with Swiss precision. I had an economy ticket and they fed us twice and had at least six beverage passes to keep you hydrated. A blanket, pillow and ear buds were provided as part of the seat. Norwegian Air does not even cover a glass of water. They are pathetic. We will travel with Swiss Air again."

We got to Zurich with 30 minutes to go. We literally ran to get to gate E. We got no help from Swiss employees and got to our gate with 10 min before flight. They said gate was closed. Went to transfer desk, next flight was next day at 1 pm. Missed very important meeting at work that I had planned around for months. Very upset and disappointed. Felt they could have helped us a lot more and got us on our flight."

We waited 5 hours to rebook a destination back to the USA and traveling lasted 24hours. Right now I'm not sure if I'll be refunded my tickets for thedomestic airline flight. WE will NEVER want to fly out of Frankfurt and especially with Lufthansa. I have to say the people at the service counters were very nice and helpful but it took 5 hours to get serviced and were missed 2 possible connecting flights. Lufthansa was a good airline but that was 20 years ago. The airport is too big now has too many delays so I'll avoid it at all cost."

Cons: "My flight was cancelled due to the pilots' strike. I only learned about this when I attempted online check in. Lufthansa never attempted to notify me. Then when I called in to the Romania Service Center to rebook, the phones went down in the middle of the call. That is understandable given the extreme volume of calls they were handling. What is unacceptable, is that they made no attempt to contact me once the phones were up. I ended up calling the U.S. service center at 1am local time to rebook...only 3 hours before I needed to leave for the airport. It took an hour - which I paid for at direct dial international rates - to find a flight. I'm very grateful for the U.S. service rep who was kind and helpful. She was the one bright spot in this poorly handled situation."

The passenger next to me was such a large man his arms and shoulder came way over into my seat space and I had to sit in an awkward and very uncomfortable position twisting my back for the entire flight. I cannot believe I paid extra to be in this position. My back still hurts from being in that position for 9 hours. I was miserable the entire way. And I paid extra for this discomfort. The big guy was plenty comfortable as he took up my seat space and slept well. Not happy at all with the flight and how Lufthansa crams people into seats."

Cons: "There was 1 hour layout, but the plane was late. i was leaving the plane at the boarding time for my next flight. the gates very extremely far away from each other it took me 20 minutes to get from the original gate to the next one and i was running all the time. by the time i got there i had no place to store my carry on luggage anywhere despite the fact the storage compartments very occupied by small backpack which could easily be stored underneath seats. i asked a flight attended to help me but she answered she was not on duty and left (what the hell!!!) what was she doing on the plane then. i wound up with my luggage underneath the seat, my bag in my lap squeezed and extremely uncomfortable. overall one of the worst flights i have ever had. i was lucky it was only one hour long."

As a result we had to wait until all the passengers got off the plane to get back our luggage and we were the last two passengers to get off. Unpleasant!"

Apparently there was a problem due to high wind gusts in taking off from Florence but information was very minimal and not displayed to passengers. People should not be discriminated because they are unable to go online!"

Cons: "Our flights were delayed 3 hours and 20 and although we were compensated for lunch at the airport, when handing out refreshments onboard we were completely missed out. Also pretty annoyed to find that we could only use the lunch vouchers in a hand full of the bars and restaurants."

Nobody in the gate area knew which gate it was leaving from or what time it was leaving, it was quite delayed, finally it was posted to start boarding at five minutes after the departure time and instead, when everyone looked up, people were boarding 10 minutes before that. Ridiculous."

Cons: "Flight took off but the plane was faulty. We landed an hour after take off waited in a room with no air conditioning for over an hour with no updates. After 3 hours after the flight was supposed to leave they cancelled the flight. Very poor and very disappointed!"

Cons: "The flight was from Faro in July excesseding temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius outside, while inside was a an absolute freezer, not more than 15/16 degrees inside. I had to change cloathing mid flight cus I couldn't deal with the cold air anymore. On previous flight from London stansted to fato was exactly the same, and there wasn't any difference, we asked if we could turn off the aircon, no answer was given, neither warm covers were provided since the air was so cold. The flight attendant was female, by the name tag was "Praya" was somewhat a bit insensitive, but I realised after that she was as unfortunate as we were cus she was wearing a short sleeve shirt part of uniform, and experiencing the same as the rest of the passengers. The temperature issue caused the flight to be extremely unpleasant."

Cons: "They refused to hang my wedding dress, because I was not flying business class, so I had to shove it in the overhead. The were half hour late boarding. my "hot" meal was cold. They did not load my luggage on to the plane. I checked my bags two and a half hours before the flight time to go from Santorini Greece to Glasgow Scotland. Apparently it in three hours, since the plane was a half hour late boarding, they could not manage to load my luggage before take off."

Cons: "I can't remember a more cramped and uncomfortable flight. Missed connection on way Paris and we arrived 6 hours late. It took British airways 3 days to get our lost luggage to us. Delayed on way back, adding 4 hours to our trip because the first plane was not "serviceable" and they had to get a replacement. They arbitrarily decide who has to much carry on luggage and force you to check it last minute at the gate while letting others with same size bags take them on the plane. Certainly no better than bargain flights and possibly worse. Why pay extra? No more British Airways for us."

Cons: "Flight LCY-ZRH (19:35-22:10) departed delayed by >1h, we had to wait in boarding staircase standing with 9mth old baby for 45mins. Due to late take-off we were too late to land in ZRH as runway had already closed. Diverted to Stuttgart, where no BA staff was on the ground to deal with and all services had already closed (~00:30). Basically ~50 customers were dumped at a place they didn’t want to be and no info on his BA wanted to deal with it was given. After 1 week still no info on compensation. And this wants to be a major carrier?"

Pros: "Fast security and passport control at both ends, Home in 30 mins after landing"

Boarding process completely baroque: With 6 different priority statuses, should we be in this line or that if we have x status, but are flying this class. Comically absurd."

Cons: "Like the flight from Amsterdam to Philadelphia, the seats were extremely uncomfortable and wouldn't go back much at all. On this flight my tray was also broken so I couldn't ever put any drinks on it without them spilling everywhere. The flight attendants were the worst ones I have ever had on a flight. Very unpleasant and rude. They would barely pay attention to customers and would only gossip when they were making their rounds down the isles. One of them made an attempt to bump either my arm or my leg every time she walked paste me, not once apologizing. It was very clear that she was doing it on purpose. At one point she even kept bending over to get into one of her drawers on her cart and kept shoving her butt into my shoulder and in my face repeatedly without acknowledging me at all. I was returning from a trip overseas and my appearance was less than business casual but that is no excuse to treat me like that or any other customer riding on this airline. I enjoyed my flights with British Airways on my way to Europe. It's extremely unfortunate that these two airlines are sister companies and transfer people between them. From now on I will actively avoid taking any flights on a American Airlines unless I have absolutely no other option. Sadly, this may mean avoiding British Airways as well. It's sad when Allegiant Air offers better flights than such a reputable airline, such as this."

There should be someone other than the driver on those shuttles monitoring people, since they obviously need a babysitter."

Cons: "Awful food both for dinner and breakfast. Choice of chicken curry or cheese and tomato pasta but had already run out of chicken by the time we were served. Menu doesn't seem to change from one year to the next.Bread bun like a rock, salad uninspiring. Breakfast equally disappointing with a dry bagel and a couple of breakfast bars."
