Pros: "Throughout the long flight, the cabin crew was excellent. They were attentive and friendly. They avoided interrupting quiet time and rest time by keeping off the PA system (well done). The food was fantastic. We were lucky enough to get some business class tickets with points, and the food was amazing. Wine was excellent. This team was quite solicitous of my parent with reduced-mobility. And the bathrooms stayed clean throughout the flight. find this is often an areas where many airlines fall down. And it's too bad, because while I'm 100% sure it is no fun to clean a toilet while in flight, it is a really a big negative for the customers. Overall excellent attention to detail, with a cheerful and "can-do" crew that kept the plane "proper" throughout the flight and provided seamless service. Good stuff. Will fly again."

Cons: "Flight from Zurich to Johannesburg: Swiss 288 (airbus a340-300) Sat in the last row of the Swiss air flight, economy, which was okay but our whole row video enternatinment system didn’t work. You’d pick a movie and it wouldn’t play. The games, camera and flight status animation all worked but not the movies. Air hostess tried resetting , still nothing. But it was a great opportunity to have a lovely conversation with my new German Friend Barbara and read my book! More lactose intolerant alternatives for breakfast which had much (cheese, yogurt, croissant) Other than those two , excellent flight. Thank you Swiss!"

Cons: "my ticket was changed and messed up and could be due to language and understanding, I ran a lot to get to my flight and had to go back and forth between the check in line and ground force and wait out of line until a resolution was found."

Cons: "4-hour delay, followed by announcement of boarding gate, but nobody at security, necessitating weary travelers needing to leave the boarding area to go back out and through security again. On board, I was very uncomfortable, but responsibility primarily not the airlines, but due to seat mate. However, there was a chill wind blowing directly on my face for two hours."

Cons: "The plane had a flea infestation that left both my wife and I with tiny bites on our legs - during the layover the flight attendants came through and sprayed the air vents in the overhead with an aerosol - I had never seen that done before but I suspect that Swiss knew the plane had microscopic flees that were biting passengers. We flew business class and expected much better from Swiss."

Cons: "The seats are so narrow and uncomfortable! The overnight flight from Boston to Zurich was the most uncomfortable flight I've ever experienced. There is no legroom. And the seats are incredibly narrow. When the person in front of me had their seat reclining I had even less room. Horrible. The only reason the flight from Zurich to Boston wasn't quite as bad was because I was able to get the seat by the exit aisle with extra legroom. The food was terrible. It didn't taste like real food. It looked and tasted totally artificial. Overall, a very poor experience."

Cons: "I had a tight connection in Zurich and a very lengthy trek to get to connecting flight. I wish Swiss Air had told me ahead of time that the flight would hold until I (and at least two other people) got there, instead of of having us run like crazy in an effort to make the flight. Connection time was way too tight."

Cons: "Several flights to US were leaving from the gates in the same wing of the terminal. A separate US passport control hurdle was set up there as an additional step prior to the boarding. The lines were long and barely moved when I joined about 40 min before my departure time. The security guy who handled the lines refused to let me through without waiting in the line. I was pretty stressed that I won't make it in time. Eventually it was all fine, people were picked up from the line by crew members of the flights that were about to leave. And when I eventually got throught, the flight did wait for about 15-20 min for the connecting passengers that were late. Having a clear communication at that US passport control line near the gate would make my flight connection and boarding process much less stressful."

Pros: "This was simply the best flying experience I have ever had in my life! From the courteous,professional and always available cabin crew to the comfort of the seat,from the quality of the food to the cleanliness of the craft, everything was just perfect. I traveled in economy class but it felt like king. I will make sure to fly SWISS again!Great great job!"

Cons: "I had a swollen and sprained ankle during the flight, I had it resting near the aisle to stretch and move to try and keep it from swelling further. Unfortunately, my injured ankle was kicked several times by a rushed crew member. It would be great if they could be a bit more mindful and watch where they are walking. Also, the breakfast before landing was spoiled when I discovered fungus in my butter after I had already eaten half of it."

Cons: "Frankfurt Airport check lines too long. Only half of security checking stations opened. Hundreds waiting in line and the lines moved too slow. After passing the long lines of security checks, you come to passport checking stations. only 1 out of 3 available stations is manned. Again, lines too long and barely moving. Probably many missed their flights while waiting to go through passport checks. We lost almost 2 hours between security and passport checks. Airport personnel were unfriendly, they did show any care towards the hundreds that are herded like sheep in long lines. They could have eased this backlog of people by manning all their available stations but they did not. Will try not to go through this airport in the future."

Cons: "We made it to the gate from our connecting flight at 1pm, flight was supposed to leave at 1:10, we got to gate after RUNNING from gate A to Z just to be told the plane left. After researching, we found out the plane didn't depart until 1:43pm. Horrible horrible service. Will NEVER fly with Lufthansa or into Germany."

Cons: "There was no update on the status of our connecting flight. The pilot gave an update of other flights except for ours but it caused a bit of confusion. Some people even had to missed there flights altogether! Lufthansa, from the 4 times I have flown with them always seems to be late with no sense of urgency. Ultimately after arriving in Venice, I get an email that my bags did not make it, yet I was told by the boarding agent that the plane was still loading our bags."

The seating in economy (seats 36A and 36C and an Airbus 330-300) was generous compared to other airlines we've flown recently (e.g., on a 777 with United on the way over, and that was "Economy PLUS!). The food was much better than the United flight, and really, it was almost too much. I'm home 14 hours after landing and I'm still not hungry. They were also very generous with the drinks and worked to keep us well hydrated with water and juices. The crew was very pleasant and accommodating. Overall, it was a great experience and I will certainly look to Lufthansa first for my next transatlantic flight."
Cons: "My one gripe was that it was very hard to hear the audio on the in-flight entertainment system. I even abandoned one movie I really wanted to see because I couldn't follow the dialogue. Also, I discovered late in the flight that the view screen pivoted and this would have helped in enjoying the videos more. Here's an idea for Lufthansa: how about adding "Tips" to somewhere in the Entertainment system to improve your seat, viewing, and other experiences. For instance, I wasn't aware that the head cushion on the seats were adjustable to better support your head. One last thing, on the entertainment system, it appears to be browser based, but sadly lacks a "Back" button equivalent."

She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

We were allowed a cabin bag and a small hand-bag in the flight but as we were among the last half of the passengers to board the flight we couldn't find anywhere to keep our luggage and the crew had to take them away from us to store them somewhere at the back far away from our seats. As a result we had to wait until all the passengers got off the plane to get back our luggage and we were the last two passengers to get off. Unpleasant!"

Cons: "Allowing the option to change your ticket date, but failing all debit and credit cards payments offered, actually means that they are not allowing flight changes due to COVID related issues like they say they do. We had to book new tickets with another airline to get home."

Cons: "I needed to change my ticket and Kayak had another agency issue the ticket. Kayak does not change tickets and the third party and the airline said only Kayak could make the change. Having to purchase a whole new ticket from the airline, save the money and frustration and avoid Kayak and just book directly with the airline. The ticket would have and should have been changed with no fees. $325 lesson learned."

Cons: "Terrible airline and airport system... the boarding system is a disaster... after waiting in line for so long they send you to different counters to pay for bags... on top of that they didn’t check in one of the 6 in my group by the attendant’s mistake and they closed the flight in us...there is a bussing system that “takes you to the plane” and when we finally made it to our gate the bus made their last of the 2 trips to the plane. So we lost our flight to Cusco and ruined our entire first day of touring in Cusco..... your system or multiple check in/ cashier/customer service counters is a disaster and it makes zero sense. I will NOT fly latam again."

Pros: "When we arrived at airport to check in there was no internet and only people who had checked in much earlier on their phones could go to the boarding area. A large number of people had to wait for "somebody" to write (!) boarding passes. All of this was quite a mess and took a long time."

Sent us on a different flight. - Return flight from Cusco Bumped (+4 hrs late), promised voucher and upgrade due to all the previous issues. - Return flight out bound from Lima. Would no recognized any of the promises nor the inconveniences of the other flights and the promises. (In Lima all was denied by the land people but they kept on sending us from one person to another for over 3 hours until the final minute when all passengers where on board they said they could not do anything). Family was separated once again."

Cons: "I flew home on the LATAM600 Lima to LAX. My flight was suppose to leave noon on May 25. Unfortunately we were delayed until noon the following day, May 26. I understand these matters are out of attendant's control, but the changes were not communicated in English and everyone was extremely slow to get us situated. Our flight was officially canceled at 5:30 pm, and it took five more hours for the attendants to get us to a hotel. In the morning, the transportation was not communicated well that I missed the bus. During all this, they never tried to re-book anyone either. I would pass on flying LATAM in the future."

Cons: "Having flown with LAN multiple times the only time you receive good service is when you fly in Business Class. Recently I have been flying economy and from the moment checking in to leaving the plane is a terrible experience. I have had on numerous occasions when checking in at the airport that I was lied to regarding the seat I was in. Or there was more than one person with the same seat. Food and the wine is awful. I would not even eat it if I was starving. When flying the overnight/ morning flight they leave the cabin lights on pretty much the entire way, their excuse is that they need to serve dinner, but who serves dinner at 0500 in the morning anyways. My last flight I asked if I could borrow a pen, and they told me they do not give out pens to customers. I will never fly LAN again except for business class. On American Airlines they are a lot more friendlier. Also a shame that they do not have a way of recognising the people that fly with them frequently, I have flown with LAN 10 times in the last 12 months. They have a bad attitude."

The last thing I didn't like was the super delayed luggage delivery, because I had no energy to wait an appalling 40 minutes after a long flight."

Cons: "a box filled with food supplies never arrived, it was reported, but the tracking number online never worked, saying "your airline doesnt have this service", even though it was a LAN flight, and noone answered the phone numbers provided. we are still waiting for this box and for someone to bother contacting us. very unimpressive for a major airline that should have 24 hour contact for urgent things like this."
