You basically have to step out of the airport to go on the runway, to reach a secondary building right next to the plan. The issue is that its freezing outside and in this building. And since it's a boarding gate you easily have to wait 20-30 minutes standing up in the cold. Even worse, some people couldn't fit in the building since the line was too long, so they had to wait outside by -1°C."

Today I was charged £25 on the spot by WIZZ AIR at the boarding gate, even if I disagreed with the charges, I wasn’t prepared to miss my flight W61301 from Warsaw to Luton. There is a degree of unfairness with these impromptu and extra charges. I came on the same flight with the same bag and there was no hassle. I was a soft target and whilst I had no problem with the flight and the service provided, I will not recommend @wizzair. I felt the extra charge was a con."

Wizz Air mobile app barely works when required (for boarding passes, etc) Not enough room in overheads for all the carry on they allowed, had to sit with bag and jacket on my lap for flight, as no room under seat either."

Pros: "I called flight network and was put on hold for about five minutes, simply to get an answer to the question of the baggage allowance - I didn’t see it anywhere when booking the wiz air ticket. They told me that I was slowed one checked baggage and one cabin baggage that would be charged about €40 if it was over 30 kilos (which it was not). At the airport wizz air said that I had chosen online booking (which I had not) and therefore I had to pay a €30 fee. Also they said I had no checked baggage allowance and was charged an additional €150 !!!!"

There was a problem with the website so we couldn't check in online and we had tried to change our flight a few days earlier but the website again didn't work, we tried to call a call centre whose number was on there, didn't work."

I didn't have the code as I was searching emails for the booking agent and airline when it was (as I later discovered) sent by another name. This resulted in £30 to check in going out and 40 euros back. Desk staff were unhelpful bordering on rude (the cabin staff were fine in that respect. I wasn't the only one at least 20 people queuing on the return with the same issue. Additionally on the delay out they advised food could be brought at the rear of the plane then inflight ran out so some people ate twice while by the time I got to my hotel they had stopped serving food and I had not eaten in the airport sorting out the boarding passes."

However the flight ended up being initially delayed for roughly 90 minutes according to the airport, while many passengers received notifications that it was closer to 2 and a half hours. When asked, the Ryanair deask said that they did not know anything and basically told us it was not their problem. We did not take off until after 5pm. However, it did not end there. Having never been told what the problem was, we finally boarded the plane and found that it was filthy. There were bread crumbs all over my seat and a candy bar wrapper underneath. I would have thought that with an extra 4 hours the plane could have at least been cleaned. Other than that, it was typical Ryanair, the seats do not recline, the staff is indifferent, and boarding was done via a bus to the tarmac."

When we were about to board, a staff person approached us and said that out carryon bags (which RyanAir tags and checks, anyway) were too large. We'd carried the same bags with the same items in them for all of our flights with RyanAir with no issues. But this time, the staff insisted that we had to pay to check the bags. We removed items from our luggage and put them in our backpacks, which only made the staff upset because they were unable to charge us. One of the staff members began yelling at me and told me she was doing us a favor by not making us pay (though our bags were the right size and met the airline's standards). She told me to be quiet and not argue with the staff, otherwise she'd charge me. If this were in America, I would have spoken to her manage and filed a complaint. I don't know the process in Germany, so I let it be. I felt disrespected and angered. During the flight, I asked a crew member for a fork or spoon. He said he'd bring it to me in a minute. After 15 minutes, he had not returned with it, so I asked another crew member, who told me that there were no spoons or forks. I replied that the airline serves hot meals that require utensils and asked if I could have one of those. He insisted that the airline accounts for every utensil and refused to provide me with one. The woman sitting behind me leaned forward and handed me a spoon. She explained that another crew member had given her the spoon, though she had not asked for it. She was confused and now realized that the spoon was intended for me-- he'd handed it to the wrong passenger. This made it obvious that the other crew member had lied to me. Overall, this was one of the worst flight experiences I'd ever had. I would not recommend RyanAir to anyone, and would actively dissuade people from flying with this airline if asked for my opinion."

Pros: "No quest when we boarded. Hand luggage was allowed inside the cabin and not placed in the hold as has been on the last few trips."
Cons: "the quality of the announcements is poor. The staffs accents are so heavy that the announcements cannot be heard and or understood."

Cons: "Having to pay for drinks. Even water. Other carriers you get food and drinks free. Ryanair might say it's cost saving but readjust can do it. And £3 for a bottle of water is ridiculous."

Cons: "Boarding was slow, seats not together unless you pay, uncomfortable seats, park up in poor location meaning you have to go up and down steps. Not good with push chair"

Pros: "I don’t need anything fancy for a short flight. Low cost, safe travel is the primary goal, and that’s what we got. The ratings chart doesn’t allow you to choose N/A but there was no food or entertainment for me to rate anything, and for such a short flight, it wasn’t needed anyway."
Cons: "Baggage fees are too high. €40 for one bag, each way? Too much. €20 each way is more reasonable, in my opinion, especially when standard international carry-on bags are not allowed. So for one bag for a family of four, we had to pay €80 and still had to buy a carry-on bag that was small enough to be allowed, other than taking the kids’ school backpacks. Please reduce the cost of luggage if you need to maintain the much smaller carry-on bag size. Also, passengers should be directed to keep their carry-on above their own seat, and not fill the front overhead compartments if their seats are in the back. It causes a lot of confusion at time of boarding and de-planing. Some elderly travelers were unable to manage their luggage, let alone go against traffic in the aisle to find overhead space in the back when they likely paid more to have their seata in the front. Not fair at all to pay more for front seats but not have the benefits of those seats. Also, I used the online chat tool before the flight to understand the baggage fees. The representative on the chat was particularly rude. Not good customer service. I figured out what I need to know so that’s the most important thing, but there was no reason for his nastiness."
