Pros: "My flight was canceled and Virgin Atlantic gave us a free room in the hotel Ramada. My next flight was at 18:55 and I asked Virgin Atlantic agent am I allowed to stay in the room until time for my flight comes, he confirmed yes and gave me breakfast, lunch, and dinner voucher. However, next day around 12 I got call from Front Desk that I have to leave my room right away because it's time to chack out and If I want to stay longer I have to pay. I called Virgin Atlantic agancy again and the agent run my information and said to me I can stayin the room longer. After that I called front desk to confirm that but they said they didn't hear anything from Virgin Atlantic and I have to leave the room by 1pm. All of this was really unpleasant!"

Cons: "I was seated next to an extremely obese man. He was so large his body spilled over not only into my seat but rested on my body if I did not plaster myself against the window. This was very disturbing on many levels. First of all, I paid for a seat on the flight but only was able to utilize half of it for the man next to me took up not only his seat but half of mine. Secondly, we were seated in an exit row. There was no way this man could fit through the emergency exit. This aroused a sense of panic and an overall feeling of unsafety for me because in the event of an emergency no one would be able to escape in our area because this man would clog up our exit. This could prove fatal for many people. Thirdly, his body kept touching mine since he was overflowing into my seat. During takeoff and turbulence especially, his excessive fat would rest on my legs, arms, and torso and bounce around. There was no escaping it. It was not only disgusting and disturbing to be unwillfully touched by this stranger, but it also caused me to feel extremely claustrophobic. I feel as though regulations need to change regarding excessively obese people flying on commercial airliners. It is unfair for passengers like me to pay an equal amount and be cheated by passengers like him and only receive half of what I paid for mixed with undesired human contact and is also a serious safety hazard. Thank you for your time and I hope you take my complaint seriously and consider reviewing your regulations."

"Delta does a great job in general. However, the “Comfort+“ seats weren’t worth the money. I sat in both seats, and I compared the width of the seats and the distance from the seat edge to the back of the seat in front of it. There was a difference of about 2” in the seat width and 1” in the leg room. Very disappointing."

Cons: "The only complaint I have regarding my most recent flight was the incredibly rude service staff whom we experienced at the front counter at check-in. After a harrowing cab ride to the airport in which our driver continuously ignored my request to follow the GPS insisting that he knew faster shortcuts, we arrived 40 minutes later than intended. Additionally he dropped us off at the wrong terminal such that we finally arrived at the KLM gate an hour later than we had planned. This was especially frustrating as we are traveling with two small children and made every effort to be punctual and leave early to be sure we got there with time to spare. Not the case today. All of that I could deal with, but when we arrived at the KLM counter, and I apologized to the attendant staff member that we were late and explained that our cab driver got lost, she responded by chastising us first in Spanish and then in broken English. She made sure to make it clear to us that it was our fault and we should not blame the Argentinian cabdriver. The cabdriver was not actually Argentinian, but that is totally besides the point. I was totally taken aback to be treated so rudely as a greeting at the airline counter. My wife share the same sentiment. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. Thank God, every single airport personnel and of course KLM staff member on board was incredibly kind and accommodating of our children subsequent to this. It saved what otherwise could've been a terrible experience."

We were boarded an hour ahead of departure from Rome for our 10+ hour flight, only to be held on the ground for a one hour delay. Cons: "My girlfriend were scheduled to come back from Marrakech together (albeit on separate reservations), however KLM could not find her reservation in their system and would not let her on the plane. I had to leave her behind in Marrakech. KLM had the audacity to ask her to purchase another ticket, even though she clearly had a valid reservation (how else would she had gotten to Marrakech in the first place?). After arguing with KLM for many hours, they finally booked her on a flight the following day, but refused to put her up in a hotel for the night, or compensate her for the trouble. Completely irresponsible behaviour from KLM. Will never fly with them again."

You get a drink and snack; and at no annoying sales announcements. Miles club membership is free, even if you don't fly regularly well worth it as it halves the cost of cost of checked baggage. Peaceful airline with no hidden costs during booking."

Pros: "We are guessing they either overbooked or they didn't have sufficient passengers on a Tuesday afternoon who's final stop was Glasgow. They rebooked him for 1200 the next day. DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."
Cons: "He was bumped to the next day due to his flight being cancelled. Then re-booked the next day, with an additional layover. Then due to a 32 minute layover that left 3 minutes sooner..."

Pros: "Due to lightening bolt strike our pre-Y2K era plane got switched out with a newer plane with modern media delivery at the seats."
Cons: "This caused a two hour delay in boarding and another 30 minutes on the JFK T4 tarmac. Same crappy headphones so it wasn’t the"

Pros: "The staff are the best European crews I have encountered. Naturally friendly, professional and fit looking. Nothing is too much trouble"

Cons: "The plane was very uncomfortable. The seats were small, you felt on top of the person next to you, and there was no leg room. I am a pretty small person- I can't image how uncomfortable all of the taller passengers must have been."

Cons: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Cons: "Per usual, KLM can't seem to figure out the order of boarding the plane. Should be business - priority - everyone else. Instead they do priority first, and that's usually two-thirds of the passengers. Strange choice of in-flight movies; no accounting for taste, I guess."

We were in disbelief the moment we boarded and saw the airplane. 10 people across jammed into the row??!! - and on an long international flight?? - are you kidding??!! Further, these were the SMALLEST seats I have EVER been forced to sit in. Neither I, or my friend came close to fitting. We literally had to alternate getting up and standing because we were literally overlapping each other when we sat! (His shoulder and arm were literally on top of me!!). It was so bad that when the stewardess came rolling down the aisle with her cart, I had to be aware and see her in advance so I could literally TURN MY BODY OVER TO THE LEFT HALF ON TOP OF THE PERSON SITTING NEXT TO ME SO SHE WOULDN'T TAKE OFF MY ARM AND SHOULDER. ULTIMATELY, SOMEONE, OR MORE THAN ONE PERSON, IS GOING TO GET SERIOUSLY HURT BY THIS RECKLESS, GREED-DRIVEN DESIGN!! The OVERT GREED by the airline (American) clearly reflected by this in trying to JAM as many human beings into a flight as possible like Sardines is DISGUSTING!!! You simply DO NOT TREAT HUMAN BEINGS THIS WAY!! It is also clear evidence that there needs to be tighter standards, regulations and penalties by the FAA and what is allowed by airlines. AND I AM SENDING A LETTER TO THE FAA!!!"

Pros: "This flight was co-shared by British airways. After our horrible flight from San Diego to London, we decided to upgrade our returning flight from London to San Diego to a economy plus premier. This time the plane seems newer and recently refurbished. The seat can recline more, with lump bar support and nice foot/leg rest. It has a bit more legroom. The cabin is nice and new with large view touchscreen TV for each seat. Gluten free meal was good, I'm just glad they finally boarded the plane with my GF meal (after repeated unsuccessful attempts). The service was great, our BA attendants were polite and attentive."

Thankfully Im small but the man sitting next to me was rather tall and had to turn into a human pretzel to fit in that seat and space allotted."

After paying that before departure to London I recieved an email from British Airways that stated an extra bag for both my flight to London and return flight to San Francisco had been fully paid for. At the airport I was told by British Airways employees that I would have to pay another $90 regardless of what my email said because their official prices are $90 each way not both. I showed them the confirmation I had recieved and all they could say was "that is confusing". There was very little empathy or attempt to help. As a result I was forced to leave the suitcase behind with my acquaintance in London and do an in airport shuffle of all of my belongings. The flight was great but beware emails that may not match up with online info."

Cons: "The man sitting next to me required two seats. The arm rested had to be lifted to my seat to accommodate him. I complained but the flight was full and my seat could not be changed. I was told that British Air policy was not to require extraordinary over weight people to buy two seats. No, instead the person next to that overweight person has to suffer. A very stupid and unfair policy. As a result I will never book Finnair or British Air again if I can avoid it."

Cons: "We were unable to find a row of seats to more comfortably facilitate traveling with a baby and a toddler as seats that should have had a cot or extra seating didn't have the cot and were sold out for an additional fee before we had the chance to. Discussing this with the staff at check0in and at the gate, made no difference as they had no knowledge of what was available on that particular flight. Every time I fly with American I'm reminded of why I don't like the airline and I will do my best to avoid them moving forward regardless of competitive ticket pricing."

Cons: "For in-flight entertainment, the ceiling-mounted screens along the aisle are hard to see and offer no choices for viewing. The food, as usual, was poor. I ordered vegetarian meals, and on the return trip for both meals was given the same soggy pasta with tomato sauce--no protein (why not add a few chickpeas or white beans?)."

Pros: "The service was remarkable. Everyone was very attentive and friendly which is exactly what you would want for a long flight. The crew came around frequently to provide beverages and left you alone to sleep."

I finally had no recourse but to buy another ticket through another airline. I feel that I should be reimbursed for my Finnair ticket from London to New York! I paid for a flight I never took. I was unable to confirm my flight online and had to ring because at NO POINT was I sent info that it was AA and not Finnair. I was charge almost $60 for this service because I did not have the right references sent with my confirmation email. T he seats were cramped and uncomfortable, I was unable to pick my seat on any flight and despite my request could not change it. Boarding at Chicago was a farce, none of the ground crew seemed to be in charge and we barely started boarding with 20 mins to takeoff. Needless to say the flight left late and we had to wait to take off, and of course had to wait to land in London."

Pros: "I took the bus back and forth from SF to London. Overseas I am now in contemplation of only flying British Airways from now on. The ride is comfortable, enjoyable, entertaining, adequate space, excellent service, food and drinks are the best I have had, and exceptional services and attention. This goes for both flights. I have been recommending Britsh Airways over the last several weeks to pretty much everyone I know. My family and I will be looking to British Airways for overseas flights as a priority."

Much, much better than the tired B777 I flew outbound from Chicago to LHR. That one had the old, slanting "flat" seats whereas this plane has fully lie flat seats. The crew was the thing that really made the difference: thoughtful with great attention to detail."

No surprise. LHR is awful. We would not see that bag again for nearly 4 days. They gave me some thing about a belt problem between T5 and T3 in LHR. We went from T3 to T3. No excuse. Probably fell off somewhere. Chocolates were a bit melted and chip bags burst. Whenever it was, it sat in heat."

We also had to have our passports checked 3 times 2 through regular customs and one just to get into the small waiting lounge. Families and friends' seats were scattered throughout the plane. Boarding was chaotic because children were crying because of separation. Didn't realize this fought was operated by American Airlines so I couldn't call ahead of time, but even then... There were no switching because there was zero space."

Pros: "The pod layout in business class is similar to BA. There is a wide range of entertainment available and the choice of foods and drinks is wide. The crew were efficient and friendly."

Should consider employing someone to help them make the menu interesting because they need it. I am reluctant to fly with American again. Why are they still using old planes with no TVs for 10 hour flights? Ridiculous."

Pros: "This flight was operated by British Airways on an Airbus A320. Great service from Sally, the Purser, and her team, with a hot breakfast, frequent drink refills and really personable interaction with passengers. Arrived 10 minutes ahead of schedule. Great!"

Pros: "Had three seats between the two of us and the crew ensured we were kept hydrated."
Cons: "Despite having three seats between two of us the seats were amongst the most uncomfortable I've used. The entertainment system was archaic and the quality was not good. The external view was not good as the exterior of the window appeared scratched and dirty."

"Smooth trip"

Cons: "Flight was delayed due to weather, understandable. We deplaned. This was the first short 1.5 hour leg of an international flight. It seemed clear that we would not make our connecting flights, which messes everything up with covid tests, quarantine, and all the many restrictions that airlines have insisted without thinking about the consequences. I tried to share my concern with the agent at American Airlines, knowing that it would probably be better to rebook and start all over for the following week or something. But his limited perspective, condescending attitude, and egotistical control behavior would not listen to me and was only concerned with getting me to the first stop 1.5 hours away. 7hrs later, stuck on that same plane which rerouted and refueled, I am now stuck in a city for 2 days since I had to rebook and start all over for missing my international connecting flight. Still have 20+ more hours of flying to go and nowhere closer to my destination. Hotel, rental, and new covid tests are all at my expense. Just wish American Airlines staff would listen and help, but if you don't shut up and comply to their every demand, they will ban you and ruin your life forever."

I was informed by a customer going that way that I indeed could. When I got in line for the priority check in, the agent looked over and very loudly said that I was in the wrong check in area. Given the volume at which it was said to me I felt embarrassed, and was upset at the fact that I then had to respond that I indeed was in the correct location."

Cons: "We booked a BA flight from Pittsburgh to Glasgow, through Philadelphia. We intentionally chose BA because we anticipated good service. We later learned that the flight was serviced by American. Our original flight was delayed one day because we missed our connection due to weather on the East Coast (after six hours at the airport). American re-ticketed us for a flight the next day. After several misstarts in Pittsburgh, we arrived in Philadelphia with minutes to spare. After running to the gate, we were then greeted with what turned out to be a four hour delay. Then, upon return, we learned that our seat selections/priority boardings were all deleted because of the re-ticketing on the on the flight out, and we spent hours on the phone and at the airport trying to get things sorted out and ensure that we had a return flight. One of the worst trips ever in my experience."

Cons: "The flight was delayed more times than I can count, we got a different reason each time. Weather I can understand, but telling us we are waiting on a specific crew to arrive and then announcing that crew is not for our flight was just terrible communication. No one seemed apologetic. The only thing they did was bring a snack cart over for us, and that got raided by children so many people didn't get anything. We had arranged transport from Orlando to Tampa for that evening, and our rides had to cancel because instead of 7pm we were now arriving at 130am. Your airline's mistakes put everyone at an inconvenience and we weren't offered assistance to fix it. My husband went to ask for help in arranging new transport home, but he couldn't even get to the front of the line. The customer service was terrible. We really enjoyed our first leg of the flight home with American Airlines, but after the second leg and all of the problems we had... we will not fly with American Airlines in the future."

Pros: "I didn't like anything"
Cons: "I did not board the plan. I had to buy an additional ticket because I had an emergency and it was going to be over 1,000$ to change the date for me to come back"

Pros: "The food was OK and I appreciated a complimentary glass of wine with the meal."
Cons: "Attendants made a big deal about expected significant turbulence...enough to say "now if your last chance to leave the plane" and suspend final beverage service. Turbulence was not bad at all and all they offered was water and juice after the initial service. Crew was short with passengers and movie selections were pretty lame. I was interested in the last movie, but it was shut off half way through."

Cons: "Food not so great"

Pros: "No hassle. Drinks provided. No complaints."

Cons: "I had my reservation cancelled despiste numerous phone calls. The flight was operated by AA, and they told me I wasn't on the flight, but after many phone calls LATAN assured me I was booked on the flight. When I got to the airport, I was not allowed to board my direct flight from GRU to LAX, instead I was sent to Miami then Charlestown , I took me an extra 12 hours to get home. I lost a day of work. Who's going to reimburse me for that ???"

Cons: "Our flight from Washington DC to Lima had a connection flight in Colombia. Since the flight from DC was delayed for more than an hour we ended up missing our connection flight from Colombia to Lima, Peru. And from there everything went downhill. In Colombia they crew didn't know what was going to happen to us. After waiting over 3 hours they finally told us the found an early morning flight for us and that they were going to accommodate us in an hotel in Colombia for to spend the night. we waited until midnight for the transportation to the hotel and there were another 100 persons waiting to get transportation to the hotel as well and to check inn in the hotel. disaster."
