A humiliating flight experience. Even though we paid for seating on the plane, we also paid for luggage. We arrived with 2 standard trolleys and before boarding the plane they forced us to send them. It did not help that I explained that in the suitcases there were things we needed for flying, valuables, and fragile objects. The crew member was rude and forced us to pull out our belongings: a laptop, a professional camera with a big lens, two books, two porcelain items we bought and we were afraid to send in the big suitcase, two bottles of drinks and two sandwiches. Passports and wallets. I begged the crewman to let me go with at least one suitcase, but he replied rudely that he did not care !!! There was a lot of room on the plane, in the cells. The crew agreed with me. They tried to help and brought me an orange garbage bag so I could put all my belongings in it ... really humiliating !!!

Main steward was a nice guy.

Delay to get on flight of nearly an hour with no information. Delay getting off flight whilst at gate in London of over an hour after being told 10 minutes. Further 30 minutes even after the delay to get bags. A lot of the delays are the airports fault and not the airline but could do more to communicate with passengers. Also seems like Ryanair are now purposefully splitting people if they don't pay for allocated seats. Always get seats together with easyJet but not Ryanair and you could tell by the splitting of other people there wasn't an attempt to seat together. On the way over I was sat next to the partner of the person my girlfriend was sat next to.

I liked how quick it was.

It was odd going from the terminal, down two flights of stairs, out into a wry crowded bus to the plane. Then the people unloading out bags took close to an hour and kept switching baggage carousels and confusing everyone.

Boarded an hour late then sat on tarmac for an hour. Crew told us they would phone ahead to let connecting flights know we were delayed. Arrived 2 hours late but mad it to my gate only 2 minutes late but they had closed boarding. We’re never informed by flybe that they were behind. Waited at flybe desk for 3 hours on bags and rebooking. Never could get an honest hour about why we had to wait there. Refused to let us go to hotel and send our bags there once found. Totally miserable and will never fly with them again. Worst customer service ever.

I found the girls who checked us in had an attitude problem. We had just arrived from Orlando and walked a very long way from the terminal. We are senior citizens and we're tired from travelling all night. My daughter had booked us on the flight so we did not understand about paying for our luggage. I was extremely upset about having to pay 80 pounds. We were told if they were paid in advance it would have been half the price. I made an attempt to call your office but was told it would be 98, there was confusion over pounds and kilos. Your staffs manner in the morning needs attention. Checkin with speedy boarding very annoying. No clear markings for speedy boarding. Unclear where to stand in line, especially if you come later after speedy boarding started already. In flight the crew started relatively late with bistro service - loads of waiting time. Reserved seat in first row but could store luggage only far back, so the advantage of first row and first out completely disappeared

solid experience with on time performance

London Heathrow security from my incoming international flight to my connecting flight was hostile, confrontational, and bewildering. Layout of terminal is ridiculous, with far too many chokepoints for foot traffic, far too many people, too few public seating options. Felt like a prison.

The crew member was rude and forced us to pull out our belongings: a laptop, a professional camera with a big lens, two books, two porcelain items we bought and we were afraid to send in the big suitcase, two bottles of drinks and two sandwiches. Passports and wallets. I begged the crewman to let me go with at least one suitcase, but he replied rudely that he did not care !!! There was a lot of room on the plane, in the cells. The crew agreed with me. They tried to help and brought me an orange garbage bag so I could put all my belongings in it ... really humiliating !!!

First the online check-in wasn't working on their website for days, because it kept saying error! Basically their website wasn't working! It slowed me down to have to check in at the airport when I should have been able to check in online. Upon boarding the plane, they made us wait in the shuttle bus for almost 30 minutes trying to figure out what was wrong with the plane. Finally, they told us the aircraft was broken and they would take us back to the terminal. They made us wait in the shuttle bus (most of us standing) another 20 minutes before actually taking us back to the terminal. They didn't communicate with us what was going on. At the terminal, they still wouldn't tell us how long for our flight. Finally (2 hours past when we were supposed to depart), we were informed that our flight would depart in another 3 hours. They gave us 11 euros worth of food/drink vouchers but that's honestly not much. Just 1 sandwich/drink isn't filling at all considering we didn't end up departing until 6 hours later than our initial scheduled flight! Then the plane we got was incredibly cramped and small. The cabin storage bins were smaller than the plane we should have had. The crew gave us all 1 free snack (like chips/candy bar) and tea/water and were nice enough. But totally unacceptable experience overall!! Broken website, broken aircraft, and poor communication! And how do you not realize the plane is broken until right before it's supposed to depart??

Boarded an hour late then sat on tarmac for an hour. Crew told us they would phone ahead to let connecting flights know we were delayed. Arrived 2 hours late but mad it to my gate only 2 minutes late but they had closed boarding. We’re never informed by flybe that they were behind. Waited at flybe desk for 3 hours on bags and rebooking. Never could get an honest hour about why we had to wait there. Refused to let us go to hotel and send our bags there once found. Totally miserable and will never fly with them again. Worst customer service ever.

British Airways makes you pay for water!!! I accept paying for food and drinks but water should be free Also their machines to pay on board don’t accept USA credit cards so I couldn’t pay but a kind flight attendant allowed me to buy with card and she hand wrote info

I liked British airways check in procedure and luggage handling

The whole flight was boring, no entertainment. Seats are not comfortable, they use very horrable water to make tea... I wish I didn't pay for it but I you have to buy what you eat, that's not nice on a commercial airline
