I liked that the planes brought me back to NYC safely, but I could have used a friendlier crew.
Entertainment was good. The crew members were professional. Food needs to get better. My stomach was upset after dinner.

Waited at the airport for 2 hours , no customer service. then called about 10 times , waited on the line another 1-2 hours on multiple calls. had to get a hotel for 2 nights , and they still want to charge me $800+ for another flight - super disappointed!"

Budget Air is not leaving any spaces between the the first and middle name, which caused a real problem for Elisa, as she was refused boarding. The plane was clean and the staff was friendly. Food and drinks as expected on international flights. The entertainment system was old style, with a pullout controller, and selections not as extensive as on other flights.

I purchased a tickket with Lufthansa but "operated by" United Airlines. At the airport United staff were unable to help me select a seat on the portion of the flight actually run by Lufthansa. Nor was I able to check in over the web, possibly to self-select my seat. The link given in the check in email claimed my flight record locator ID was invalid.
The seat arm rest was solid and would not go up making a long flight uncomfortable
One of my suitcases was left in Frankfurt during the layover. The suitcase arrived the next day so, I had to get a cab to drive me for over 200 kilometers to go back to the airport to pickup the suitcase. After I picked up the suitcase and left the airport, I realized that one of the wheels of the suitcase is broken. When I tried to submit a complaint, the system did not allow me to do that because I have to do it at the airport and I have only three days to submit the complaint. Given that I am staying 200 kilometers away from the airport, I am not going to go back again to the airport to submit the complaint about the suitcase. I spent all that money on airline tickets to go to Algeria to be on vacation not to go back and forth for 200 kilometers between where I am staying and the airport.
Another couple hrs delayed no compensation for the flight that was 11hrs delayed
Aircraft flown by Luftansa. Crew members were very helpful, cheerful and kind. Dinner was excellent and breakfast sandwich really good. Leg room and seats in economy flight was too tight even for an average size woman. On line check-in was difficult - had to start over several times as I was "kicked out" or the site froze.
Both flights were on time. Great selection of movies on board. My luggage didn't get lost, which made my trip very easy.
Didn't have my boarding pass until Montreal, really stressful and neither Luftansa or Air Canada were rlly helpful.

Cons: "Whoever designed and built this airplane should literally be INDICTED - AND I AM NOT KIDDING! We were in disbelief the moment we boarded and saw the airplane. 10 people across jammed into the row??!! - and on an long international flight?? - are you kidding??!! Further, these were the SMALLEST seats I have EVER been forced to sit in. Neither I, or my friend came close to fitting. We literally had to alternate getting up and standing because we were literally overlapping each other when we sat! (His shoulder and arm were literally on top of me!!). It was so bad that when the stewardess came rolling down the aisle with her cart, I had to be aware and see her in advance so I could literally TURN MY BODY OVER TO THE LEFT HALF ON TOP OF THE PERSON SITTING NEXT TO ME SO SHE WOULDN'T TAKE OFF MY ARM AND SHOULDER. ULTIMATELY, SOMEONE, OR MORE THAN ONE PERSON, IS GOING TO GET SERIOUSLY HURT BY THIS RECKLESS, GREED-DRIVEN DESIGN!! The OVERT GREED by the airline (American) clearly reflected by this in trying to JAM as many human beings into a flight as possible like Sardines is DISGUSTING!!! You simply DO NOT TREAT HUMAN BEINGS THIS WAY!! It is also clear evidence that there needs to be tighter standards, regulations and penalties by the FAA and what is allowed by airlines. AND I AM SENDING A LETTER TO THE FAA!!!"
Pros: "This flight was co-shared by British airways. After our horrible flight from San Diego to London, we decided to upgrade our returning flight from London to San Diego to a economy plus premier. This time the plane seems newer and recently refurbished. The seat can recline more, with lump bar support and nice foot/leg rest. It has a bit more legroom. The cabin is nice and new with large view touchscreen TV for each seat. Gluten free meal was good, I'm just glad they finally boarded the plane with my GF meal (after repeated unsuccessful attempts). The service was great, our BA attendants were polite and attentive."
Pros: "The flight to and from Los Angeles was operated by British Airways and was on one of their Airbus fleet. Boarding was completed efficiently and with ease. I sat on the upper deck and was very comfortable in comparison to other major airlines previously used for this particular flight. The plane was very clean and the crew were outstanding. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble for crew, and they were ready with beverages, including tea and coffee, and snacks throughout the flight. In flight entertainment was good. All in all very pleasant flight to and from the U K."
