Prices were quoted in CAD and were asked in USD at a way worse rate than what I anticipated, and with no internet on the spot to verify and show my reservation I had no choice but to accept and go with whatever they were saying. The car was in rough shape and not particularly clean, with the radio inoperative and bits ands broken inside, and at drop off they charged me 190$ for a cleaning fee because there were some dog hair on the floor in the back. Overall when I should have paid 425$ Cad I ended un paying over 1100$ cad. I should have stuck with the competitor’s rental, this was way overpriced and will definitely not recommend to anyone.

The car was fine, but we had a puncture on the tire and called the "accident" line. Cars are not equipped with spare tires. They said someone would come out to assess the problem, but probably wouldn't fix it. Then we'd have to get a new car the next day. So we would be abandoned on a rural road without a car 30 miles from our hotel and then have to travel 50 miles the next day to pick up a new car at the airport using public transportation or a taxi. After giving us our options, they disconnected the call so we gave up. It was 6pm on a Friday. We called a 24-hour repair service and they came out and fixed the tire on the spot, which we paid for, and we were on our way. I don't understand why Europcar could not dispatch a repair service like this.

The place is a total scam. PLEASE be very careful if you deal with them, especially at the moment of signing where they will try to distract you In Order to lock you into some crazy extras. Do yourself a favor and bring your business somewhere else. Feel free to read their google reviews and you will see dozens of clients like me that were duped by a very dishonest sales team.

In the end it was good but to get to the car hire desk and be told no car because I'm late when I let the telephone head office know what time I was going to pick up the car .The person on the telephone did not pass on my information so my car was gone but the staff at the northampton branch found me a car and saved the day.

Predatory practices around car damage, and didn't accept the 3rd party insurance coverage that I had purchased. At the point of pickup I then needed to provide additional coverage through my credit card. Poor communication and customer service throughout.

I like the rate. I did not like that my insurance card had to be presented because my insurance card lives in my personal vehicle. This was the first time renting a car that my I had to present the insurance card to rent the car. Also I was not happy that the car insurance i paid for on the web site was not accepted by Green Motion. i had to purchase additional insurance to rent your vehicle. I also did not like that once inside the rental facility the line stated "U-Save" and not Green Motion. Please clarify that it is the same agency in the future.

Really the worse customer service they have. Very rude. Shuttle never showed up. There’s no information at all about its timings in which the shuttle is being operated. Went to the office and they said the reservation is cancelled and go reserve a new one. I was on the front desk but they asked to go online and book it. Reserved it then just adding to my frustration with silly questions they didn’t provide the car. I was asked to cancel the reservation. Tried canceling but online portal denied it. Then I called them and instead of refunding the amount they offered the credit. Such a rip off. Unbelievable and I never recommend this Easirent company

Nothing about this experience was satisfying, like renting a donkey and a cart on the streets of Bagdad! No shuttle from airport available, office in a sideroom of a hotel NEXT to the hotel advertised as location. Did not have reserved car, none clean, car smelled like a cigarette BAR, windshield broken, just a mess all around!

Their shuttle never came even though we waited over an hour and a half. We kept calling and after 20-30 min waits in their phone system they assured us the shuttle was on its way. Finally it was approaching closing time so we had to take a Lyft to the company so they wouldn't close on us. They shrugged and said the shuttle guy had gone home half an hour ago. Then it took an hour to get the cars because they were short staffed. Would NOT recommend and will never use again.

It was very difficult to find the shuttle bus and I was wandering around the airport for over an hour, asking other car rental staff and information desks for assistance. The easirent company desk did not answer my phone calls and I began to suspect I was being scammed. I evebtually found the shuttle bus, but when I arrived on site I was a bit nervous that I was going to get scammed. There were a lot of hidden fees that people at the desk only told me about once I was at their location and away from the competition at the airport. For example, if you do not have a return flight confirmation number, there was a $500 uncharge on your rental. I was also given a random car that was available, and not a car that I originally selected when I booked the rental. The people at the desk also refused to give me a receipt for the $200 security deposit hold that was put on my credit card. When I turned in my car 4 days later, they did not issue a receipt, despite my concerns about the deposit hold clearing from my credit line. Given that I was on a time crunch to get to my flight, I believe they knew they had more power to deny me. The rental price was cheaper than the competition, but I believe that the consumer pays for that cost difference in time and risk. Buyers should be wary and ask the company for as much information as possible in advance before booking!

Pros: checkin and pickup was fast and easy. Friendly staff. My Nissan Sentra was in excellent condition and drove well. Drop off and airport return were easy and excellent as well. Cons: No direct pickup at the airport, one must take the metro connector to the remote rental pickup. I had heavy large bags so it was a bit difficult on the crowded metro connector. However, if you read their information, they do inform you of this. The thing that bothered me was my ignorance of the liability coverage requirement and cost so my rental ended up 3x the online price.... once again, read the fine print before you commit to your reservation.

They tried to steal $91 from me. I was told that in order to pay for the toll tag, I need to use the same card. They tried to run the credit card and it came back declined. So I spent the whole trip taking longer routes to avoid tolls. No problem. When I turn the rental in, they charged me $91 dollars for a toll tag, after they already knew it was declined. I never took a toll road, so why are they charging me for it. Been on the phone with them 2 times since I’ve been back and nothing has been rectified.

They only allow their car rentals to be driven in LA. This is not stated anywhere in the kayak car rental process.

When we picked up the vehicle, they didn't have the same level of vehicle available that I reserved. Instead of offering a better vehicle at the same rate, they would only downgrade the vehicle without a rate reduction. This downgraded vehicle wasn't going to work for the number people, bags, and adventures into the mountains we planned for. (Which is why we reserved the Rav4.) I was left with the only choice of moving to an upgraded Jeep Grand Cherokee for more money. Once we got into the Jeep GC, we immediately found a pouch filled with pills under the passenger seat. We have no idea what these pills were, but took them into the office. They offered to put us into a different Jeep GC, which we accepted. At this point, they did offer a refund for the upgrade charge, but only after being asked. I was also told that there was an additional $200 deposit that would be returned upon return. The vehicle was returned with half of a tank of gas and no issues, and I did NOT receive the full $200 deposit back, only $167, with no explanation as to why. I paid for the tolls package and only went through two of them. There is no way that was $33. I will not be renting from Ace again. This was not an experience that I care to repeat. As we were dealing with our own issues on the rental, others were also having issues with their rentals. Didn't seem to be a great situation across the board.

Car was very comfortable, clean , more than enough power, pick up was sooo easy, drop off a little disappointing as there were no persons on the counter and we really wanted to know about the deposit return. In the end we had to drop the key and run for our boarding, but was sorted very easy next day by phone call.

The new car didn't have ANY USB chargers... only USB-C. That was bloody annoying for a new rental car. That ridiculous system for checking how many points you have on your licence is also both unique and antiquated. I know it's not a Hertz specific problem... but FFS!!! The staff member did help in the end and offer an alternative. The car was great and at a good price.

I will never use Avis again - ever. In Jan 2019 I booked a car for pick up at LHR Dec 16, making the mistake that my flight out of SFO was actually getting into LHR Dec 17. Had I picked up the car Dec 16, I would have been paying $460 for my rental period. With zero flexibility they wanted me to now pay £2000 for the same rental package (1 day less in fact). After a long haul flight with 4 biggish bags - which the Avis shuttle driver gave no help with - I had to go back to T2 and get a car from National for £600. Same size as my original Avis booking, help with baggage into and off of bus and even into my car! Enterprise rocks. Avis sucks big time.

I made the mistake of not bringing my passport to the rental counter. Although not explicitly stated anywhere in the terms and conditions, a passport for foreign tourists is required to rent a car from Avis Heathrow. A driver's license is not sufficient documentation.

We had to wait 20 minutes for collection but we were a little early and they didn’t open until 7am. Overall collection was straight forward, nice new cars with very little damage. Handing the car back was a simple and straight forward process. Will use again in future.

Pick-up is in a hotel. Shuttle bus takes you two floors down. Then you have to take an elevator up (with all luggage). Long wait (45 minutes). Elevator down to collect the car. Everything together roughly 90 minutes.

There were no instructions for pickup, just an address that goes to the wrong location. There should be shuttle pickup mentioned, because there was one, but we didn't know about it and ended up walking 3 miles with luggage to get to the correct location.

The in person workers were pleasant enough but the car was terrible. We were told we’d have a 5 person 4 suitcase car. When we put our suitcases in the car we barely fit 3 people. The windshield wipers did not work and we had many days of scary rain. We had to hold them down while driving and it wasn’t safe. The stick shift didn’t work properly and the car pulled badly to the left. We tried many times to call customer service to exchange the car or return it to a different location because we were too scared to drive it. We were never able to get a hold of someone that could help us. One time we spoke to a person and she supposedly gave us an inside line but no one ever answered the line. We had locals try to help us, the two hotels tried but to no avail. We left the car parked at a hotel for 6 days without driving it because we couldn’t get back to where we rented it and we were too scared to drive it. The whole thing was awful and traumatizing. When we returned it we let them know about the difficulties but they didn’t seem to care. I won’t rent from them again. I hope they look it over before renting it out again but I doubt they will as they are so busy.

Take too long for serving customers at check in and check out. The airport pick up point information is not accurate. All customers were getting irritated with waiting time. I think its not staff issue, but seems like company policy might be too strict on staff on any mistakes. Will avoid in future

Drivalia offers cars with letter "e" in description. You don't know-it is full electric. To me it is economy. In Italy the infrastructure for electric cars is poor. Also,Drivalia uses Chinese MG small suv hybrid. This is really weird hybrid you don't want to drive. Eats lot of gas and you have to change this hybrid like full electric car. Milano int. Airport does not have good signs to get to rent garage to drop your car.

Picked up the car and it was filthy. Clearly hadn’t been cleaned since being used before. Key intermittently stopped working and were locked out of the car, when trying to open it manually, car alarm would repeatedly go off. Car was not maintained well.

We liked the good value for money, and the car itself was just what we wanted and had no issues. It was not completely clean though when we received it, nor did it come full of fuel- under half a tank. The pick up and collection from the car park was fine and very quick. It was the wait time at the drivalia desk to sign the contract and pay the deposit which took too long. We joined the queue at 10:30am and we’re not at the front until 12:00pm. We were not in a rush but other customers were as they had plans or connections to make.

I was able to choose the exact car I wanted and was even able to reserve a cooler and boogie board to use for the week. The car was in like-new condition. The free shuttle was convenient, fast and the drivers were nice. The location was a little bit further from the airport, but it wasn't a problem.

It was the first time we rented via Turo, so I don't have a good base reference to compare in general, and can only compare to car rental experiences with commercial fleets (like Budget or Enterprise). In general it was okay -- we made it to where we were going and back, with no major issues. It's doable. However, there were some "surprises" where things didn't quite got as we expected: * We made rental reservation with expectation that we're picking up at the airport. When we got there, it turned out that the car is not at the airport, and the address given to us turned out to be what seemed to be Portland's airport Fire Rescue Tower (where, obviously, we can't even walk to or be at). We called the owner, and turned out that the car is at some house that's "not far" from the airport, and gave us new address. So additional expense of taking Uber/Lyft to get to the car (and apparently that address exists in two neighboring towns, and somehow Uber/Lyft took us first to the wrong one, so we had to take another ride, but that's not a Turo issue, just more expense as a consequence of car not being at the airport as promised). * When we got there, we called the owner to get the keys: "-- Keys are under front door's floormat. -- Nope, they're not there. -- Then try mailbox? -- Yes, they're there." The owner wasn't there, which is okay to do this all remote, but would be nicer if owner was in general "on top of things" such as where the car is and where it is expected to be picked up, where exactly are its keys, etc. * Then owner requested that prior to return we take the car to be washed and cleaned inside and out. We neither planned on looking for car detailing places in Portland, nor for time that it would take away from sightseeing, nor for extra substantial expense it would be. We pushed back and the owner backed off saying that he'll let it go due to confusion with pickup location (and apparently he didn't send some email that he was supposed to send, or something along those lines). * And while the car wasn't too dirty, it wasn't clean to begin with (which made detailing request that more amusingly odd). Crumbs on floor and seats and luggage compartment. Worst part was that windshield was dirty on the inside that was minor unpleasant at daytime, but as driving progressed into night time, it was quite significant as it was blurring lights and affected visibility substantially. * We also added additional driver thru Turo and let the owner know. The owner requested that we send him picture of drivers license directly to him. We refused (as it didn't seem right, given that Turo is the one that manages that aspect) and he backed off. * Of course, additional expense of Uber/Lyft after return drop-off as we weren't dropping it off at the airport as originally planned. So all in all we probably spent additional $50-60 in Uber/Lyft for getting to and from cars location instead of it being in the airport, and lost about 3+ hours for dealing with additional unplanned travel. The rest was okay. Car drove fine and didn't give any problems.

They are not COVID SAFE - they gave me an used dirty car without cleaning! The whole pickup drop off is a nightmare. They are unscrupulous and try and charge you for damage that has nothing to do with you! Will never rent from them again
