Hotel Villa Marita was built in 1996 on the El Santuario
plateau, on the side of Baru Volcano, with great views over
the nearby valley.
The hotel offers 6 cabañas, each with a bedroom, sitting room
and bathroom. 4 of these also have an outdoor terrace. The
cabañas offer either a queen-size bed or two twin beds.
There are also 3 simple rooms each with twin beds and
bathroom, a family cabin with two bedrooms, living room and
fully equipped kitchen, this cabin comes with a queen bed and
two twin beds and an extra bed can be placed in the living
room.
The hotel also has 3 apartments; located upstairs in the main
building are a studio apartment with queen bed, bathroom and
a kitchenette and a one-bedroom apartment with separate
living room, small dining area, kitchen and bathroom. The
separate “Green House” is a fully furnished one-bedroom
cabin that provides a large bedroom with ensuite bathroom,
living/dining room and fully equipped kitchen.
All the cabins, rooms and apartments have TVs with cable
service, WiFi Internet and hot water.
In the main building is a large common room with library,
large screen TV, bar and free coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
Buffet breakfast is served daily.
