The representative at the car rental desk gave us wrong information. She told us that the price we paid at the counter included the price of the rental car. However, when I later reviewed the bill, I discovered that the price we paid at the counter was for an insurance package only, and that we were ALSO charged separately for the rental. This doubled the price, making it a disastrous purchase. I feel I was cheated into something I did not agree to.

I picked the wrong time based on incorrect recollection of when we were supposed to land, but it was required to wait until that time (two hours later) to pick up my rental. There was no previous walk around and I discovered a couple of rock strikes after I drove out of the facility. Fortunately they were rather small and there was no charge for them, but I was worried about it. Otherwise, the car I ended up with (Dodge Durango), which was not the one I reserved (Toyota Corolla), was quite satisfactory and even got respectable mileage (over 25 mpg). So I was pleased. There was a little difference in the ride, however, as the Durango is built on a truck chassis and it is a bit stiffer than a sedan.

I didn’t realize that jeep was such a weird card to rent. The GPS dropped me in the middle of Honolulu twice when it failed to function. Interface is needlessly complicated with a bunch of switches that are different than other vehicles. That’s confusing. The so-called removable top is actually only two parts. It’s a tee top, but the roof doesn’t come off over the backseats or the way back. Doors slam hard and lack resistance. I will never rent another Jeep unless I absolutely need offloading capability because this made a terrible car to drive around in.

They kept trying to upcharge us for everything! Our original price went from $140 to like $400 before I said no to all extra charges. The drop off location was also INCREDIBLY difficult to find.

The vehicle I reserved had an inoperative AC compressor. Alamo quickly substituted an equivalent vehicle but the new car was EXTREMELY dirty from the previous family and had not likely been cleaned by Alamo. I was in an rush to depart for our family trip so I could not take the time to have Alamo clean the car. During the course of the rental period, I detailed the interior which was filthy and washed the outside of the vehicle. As I was returning the car at Orlando International Airport, the attendant asked me if I was happy with the rental. I explained what happened and what I had done. He instantly apologized and then offered to compensate me with a discount on the rental. I was overwhelmed and shocked that he would offer that to me without my asking. It shows how serious Alamo is about customer satisfaction. I would rent from Alamo any time I am on travel. Keep up the great work!

Car was very comfortable, clean , more than enough power, pick up was sooo easy, drop off a little disappointing as there were no persons on the counter and we really wanted to know about the deposit return. In the end we had to drop the key and run for our boarding, but was sorted very easy next day by phone call.

Pros:

Pickup service was excellent. Car great. Mileage very good.

Cons:

Hertz rep explained that because Hertz is the only rental agency at LGW North, the airport authorities will not allow more rental return signage. Follow the specific instruction given by the Sofitel porters in the layby.

Pros:

The gentleman who I gave the car to was very helpful. He helped order me a taxi after and was very nice.

Cons:

There wasn't anywhere to park the car. They didn't have a parking lot or any designated places for returning cars. It was very frustrating. I didn't like that even though I prepaid for a full tank of gas, I didn't get any money back when I returned it more than half full. Felt a little cheated there.

They tried to rip me off! didn't provide me with a damage for the existent damage and the employee said will provide it latter but I took pictures before I use the vehicle. Now they are saying the car never been damaged and I have to be charged for the old damages as according to their system the car never been damaged and the vehicle year is 2021! I disputed it and sent my proves but it is very poor management and it is stress and anxiety no needs for me to go through I put down a cheaper options to be with reputable company but National/Enterprise prove me wrong.

I never got a car. They said that if the reservation was made less than 24 hours before there were no cars available. Get it together.... don't set up your system to allow reservations if there are no cars available. It reminds me of airlines overbooking flights.

Only issue was the car class I purchased was not originally provided, but the wonderful lady at check-in remedied the situation immediately. Wasn't her fault - the computer information did not match my reservation. She was great and all went seamlessly thereafter.

We got a nice van from Ace and it had everything is was supposed to, but the price didn't end up being what we were originally quoted. We expected taxes and fees, but the agent added a CDW charge when we rented it even though we said we declined insurance because our auto insurance already takes care of that. When we picked up the van, he explained they would hold our credit card number for incidentals, so I signed the paper not really knowing what the CDW charge was. Later I found out it was for daily collision protection, even though we had declined that. When I asked for the charge to be removed they told me I had to write to the manager. I wrote him twice and never even got a reply. The other negative experience we had was getting picked up by the shuttle at the Orlando airport. We were told the shuttle comes around every 25 minutes, but we waited for 70 minutes before the shuttle came, after I had called the rental office 3 times.

Speedy pick up from airport when I called, friendly and helpful staff, pick up process easy and car warmed and waiting for me when I arrived on a very cold night . Would highly recommend this company.

There was an extremely long line and it took us over two hours to pick up the car. Used electric car with a terrible app to find charging stations. Got lucky to turn the car in with miles left.

Drivalia offers cars with letter "e" in description. You don't know-it is full electric. To me it is economy. In Italy the infrastructure for electric cars is poor. Also,Drivalia uses Chinese MG small suv hybrid. This is really weird hybrid you don't want to drive. Eats lot of gas and you have to change this hybrid like full electric car. Milano int. Airport does not have good signs to get to rent garage to drop your car.

Picked up the car and it was filthy. Clearly hadn’t been cleaned since being used before. Key intermittently stopped working and were locked out of the car, when trying to open it manually, car alarm would repeatedly go off. Car was not maintained well.

We liked the good value for money, and the car itself was just what we wanted and had no issues. It was not completely clean though when we received it, nor did it come full of fuel- under half a tank. The pick up and collection from the car park was fine and very quick. It was the wait time at the drivalia desk to sign the contract and pay the deposit which took too long. We joined the queue at 10:30am and we’re not at the front until 12:00pm. We were not in a rush but other customers were as they had plans or connections to make.
