This hotel is within walking distances of all the places of interest and good restaraunts and even the main shopping area. The house itself is beautiful and the very friendly staff cater to your every request and make you feel very welcome. We were able to meet some very nice people at breakfast, served in the beautiful dining room, and the delicious afternoon teas on the verandah. We went on the water taxi to The Yorktown at Patriots Point which was very interesting. The harbour tour is also very good.

You will love staying at the Governor's House. The staff is first rate, the breakfast is wonderful, the evening wine and appetizer spread is a treat, and the place is as comfortable as it gets -- you will feel like you are right at home. Our needs were attended to with courtesy and the staff takes the time to help make your visit to Charleston enjoyable and memorable. Our room was very comfortable, though the bathroom is getting a bit dated and would benefit from upgraded fixtures and renovation, everything was functional and the room was kept clean. The mattress was very comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring Charleston on foot. The parking on site makes it easy to use your car when you need it knowing parking will not be a problem when you return. We just loved this place and would definitely stay there again the next time we visit Charleston.

- Donna and Olivia were very friendly and went above and beyond to insure our stay way was comfortably unforgettable! - Historic Charleston, SC district in the French Quarter in close proximity to everything my wife and I love and appreciate!

- Breakfast was included daily with our stay. I suggested some form of protein because of health condition to our host and she said she would correct this for our next stay.

Historic building houses Bed and breakfast facility in downtown historical district of Charleston, SC. The rooms are large, tastefully decorated and air conditioned. We felt safe as our room was on second floor. Entry was gated with passcode. Courtyard had a fountain and beautifully manicured with live potted plants. My wife and I ate breakfast, provided by our host, on an outside veranda. We were served by Olivia, fresh fruits and delectable pastries. The hot coffee was excellent! Our host, Donna, was very friendly and provide...

This is a charming historic property located in the Charleston French Quarter. Whatever value that the property itself adds (which is significant), it is the efforts of the innkeepers to provide excellent and personalized service and the quality of the staff and the overall experience that make the stay very satisfying. Will return.

Prices are average price per night of stay and may not include taxes and fees. "Total" includes our estimate of the taxes and fees. Please verify the total cost on the provider's site before you complete your reservation. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.

More questions or if you have a bad price to report to us
Please send us an email and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
